5601  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Apps for exchanging on: September 12, 2019, 10:42:42 AM
Can anyone recommend good apps on android for exchanging? What do you usually use? Was there anything new released recently? I'm new at this and interested in some non-custodial exchangers.
Even you can use coinbase mobile wallet app to trade your coins but I am not suing it since its not supported here.

Shapeshit needs ID verification to convert.

I think coinomi has such feature but again it will redirect us into KYC verification so better go to and exchange.

Everyone stating that gambling will affect someone's image in the society so this is actually happened with you?
I think saying that”Everyone “ states gambling will effect someone’s image is over statement mate because yeah there might be more people who has that stand but there are also Gamblers (like us)who will oppose that word.because we don’t care what people will say as long as e are doing the right thing and don’t disturb or affect everyone

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.
Lucky that this not happen to me until now, maybe because people know me and my attitude and they cannot say negative or not good towards me,(or they can say outside my knowledge)
So actually my statement is right that it may affect you and all the gamblers image in the society but we react to it or nor is some other thing from reputation.
5603  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does localbitcoins work? on: September 11, 2019, 06:20:46 PM
If they do take it to their own pile .. isn't this kind of mixing coins since all on going trades will be in one big pot?
Just now I traced few of my transactions into localbitcoin and also withdrawal from local bitcoin, you are right all of them going into huge pot which might not be possible to trace your funds but localbitcoin does know all these things and they can report the details to government if there is any complaint against you for laundering or other reasons, and also they will block your account with all of your remaining funds for violating their terms.
5604  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does localbitcoins work? on: September 11, 2019, 11:34:01 AM
In most of the cases, LBC actually doesn't do anything as the trade flows smoothly. They would only really actively intervene if someone disputes the transaction.
I have seen quite some reports about accounts that were put on a block because of suspicious activity, which means that the user either conducted a transaction larger than usual or a lot of smaller transactions in a single day.

In other words, if your trading behavior doesn't correspond with your trading behavior of the last couple of months or even years (not exactly sure how long they go back), you're pretty much guaranteed to get your account blocked.

I get why they are trying to be alert on suspicious activity due to regulations they have to comply with, but they are so trigger happy that it makes people using LBC actually change behavior and trade less naturally.
I don't think accounts will get blocked due to increase in trade limit of sudden but this may happen if they are withdrawing huge amount of bitcoins.

But account will be blocked in case of dispute and also violating their terms.
5605  Other / Meta / Re: Why was my account blocked on: September 11, 2019, 08:13:21 AM

Blocked? I guess you are banned!

Only probable reason for getting permanently banned in this forum is plagiarisms,Did you?

And one more thing I would like to add,if there is a dispute transaction of yours you will be on forced holiday which means temporary ban at that time you can trade with others or withdraw your funds as well.
5607  Other / Meta / Re: How to detect plagiarism on: September 10, 2019, 04:59:22 PM
When you copy the part of a post from someone's post history who you think he is a copy paster into google then you can find the related post on it but this is really time consuming and the only way I know. But most people using some other tools like bots which can scrape the user's post and relate with the existing post scrape to find the plagiarism.
5608  Other / Meta / Re: Overeagerly mods – explanation appreciated on: September 10, 2019, 12:00:38 PM
The bump rules only apply to pointless bumps and updates so they don't clutter the thread.
What will happen if someone delete their previous bumps before 24 hours (only few sections were restricted from deleting the posts before 24 hours) and then bumping their thread again? Is there any way to detect these kind of bumps.

Sorry for the off topic,I had this question for very long!
5609  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does localbitcoins work? on: September 10, 2019, 10:10:11 AM
So Mr seller sells btc to Miss Buyer. Seller has btc loaded into his account via his wallet address. Trade Request by Miss Buyer locks the amount of sellers btc. This is the part i'm curious about. Once the trade is complete what is the route of the bitcoins do they go directly from Seller to Buyer or does localbitcoins take the coins to a 3rd party account and they give send to the buyer?
When someone send trade request to buy btc the bitcoin of requested amount will automatically goes to reserved state which can be released by the seller itself when transactions completed.

Only LBC support staff will release the btc if the seller didn't release the coins even after the payment made.

But when requesting to sell your btc to and add the escrow work in the opposite direction, you can release coins when user paid you.
5610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Agony Of Bounty Hunters on: September 08, 2019, 07:49:43 PM
I do not do this every day, but last night I checked all my bounty hunting files from social media, signature and article marketing, I am very disappointed, only 5% of my bounty campaigns proved to be successful, what I mean successful is it's worth the profit after many months of the campaign.

One disappointing side of it is the projects that I thought are legit are the one that turns out to be scams and the project that I thought will not turn out to be good turns to be profitable.

Things are not good in bounty campaign at this point of time, what proves to be a source of excitement to bounty hunters is now the agony of bounty hunters

Most of the bounty hunters were blamed because of they were participating in the bounties which turned into scams later but the real thing is that they can't do anything about it.Atleast they can try to expose them as scam once you found it.Which helps other investors and hunters.

OP if you change your point of view you might consider gambling as a fun game while not thinking too much of how the society will gonna judge you. And also, online gambling will not affect your image if you are inside of your house playing it alone. Local gambling may affect your life while you are protecting your reputation and i know a lot of people but guess what, they didn't bother anyway as long as they enjoy what they were doing.
I do the things what I love to do no matter if it is gambling or flirting ut the subject of this thread which affected your personal reputation at some point of your life but no matter did you cared about it or not.

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.
I have not long plunged into betting and neighbors around me did not know that I tried betting, because I and my husband very keep it a secret from family and neighbors.

I totally agree with you that everything we personally do is our right, as long as it does not harm others and violates the law, then we have the right to do whatever we want.
So it means it does affect your personal life that is why you keep it as secret. But when you like that thing to be done why afraid of others?
5613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: September 08, 2019, 05:45:24 PM
Gambling can only affect your personal life if you let it do, gambling is really addictive and it can lead one to do foolish things like selling personal properties and getting involved in debts in order to use such money to place bets.

I am not saying about the gambling losses or profits,it depends on the users who gambling. But when we saying we are gambling how it affects us in your society.

Seriously 90% of the time I go against the bet where more people betting on it because I believe when it involves sport betting the great manipulator wants the best team to lose then only they can make more money.
If you make a good timing and you did follow the fixers bet then it will give you a lots of profits, betting against the favorite's always accompanied by a big risk it's needed to have a big nerve to bet from what you believe although it's a gambling activities so everything will be depends on how lucky will you be waiting for the games to finished.
When something is manipulated we just can't rely on our luck to win the game,we need to think out of the box and bet against even if we are betting against our favourite team because the reason of bet is to win the bet.

5617  Other / Meta / Re: Some suggestions to decrease spams made by bounty hunters on: September 07, 2019, 06:51:12 PM
More spams created due to complete their weekly post quota to get stakes or rewards. So if the bounty managers really care about the spammers they will restrict the number of participants to some level but most of the projects have unlimited cap for participants. So asking them to restrict spams is just useless.
5618  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the risks if we accept 3rd party payment while dealing localbitcoin on: September 07, 2019, 05:43:13 PM
....
With my current trading volume I can create upto 16 advertisements so I had some high risk payment with good margin amount, but there is something alarming while doing such for the recent days which is lot of newly created accounts from Nigeria requesting bitcoins and want to pay from bank account from my country I doubt this could be an hacked account transactions so I decided to disable that ad.

Now only dealing with the people,Verified name on LBC,Real name must match with the Bank account name and also One time National provided ID verification.

I feels that I am safe with the above criteria to deal with me.
5619  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Shapeshift giving away $10 dollars? on: September 07, 2019, 12:12:42 PM

The people who hand over their personal information to ShapeShift then have a fully verified account, which means that they can use that platform without any hassle moving onwards. This is exactly what ShapeShift is after. Admittedly, ShapeShift is quite a useful service so people will love using it to convert crypto back and forth.
It greatly helps the people who are dump enough to find an exchange to convert their coins other than this there is no reason to use their service unless we need something in very emergency because the conversion in shapeshift doesn't take longer like in exchange.
5620  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency users statistics on: September 07, 2019, 08:28:07 AM
Well people from poor countries are mostly late to get some infomation about something like this.
And most of the time they couldn't risk their money if their isn't too much info about it.
Most of the time they would just invest when it is already well known or being trusted by many people.
For now, I think the spread of information around the world is evenly distributed only the technology spread is not yet equitable. as long as these poor countries are connected to the internet, I think they receive the same information as developed countries.

Actually people from the poor country using this to make some money against their fiat money because they knows that their country not having much restrictions and also perfect taxation system for the usage of cryptos.
