What`s wrong with his current account?
Any way, he tried, if he`ll continue then he might try again.

For starters, he is asking for a loan while simultaneously giving out loans.

Do you mind if I hop on your thread? Wondering about the same thing. Plus:

Does GLBSE allow dividend reinvestment and if so, also partial shares?

No partial shares, but you could reinvest in other smaller-denominated shares.
5605  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin mining is not work. It's pure stupidity. on: June 03, 2012, 02:34:35 AM
LMAO the more i read Faisal7's threads I wonder at his definition of stupidity.

Some would say doing the same thing over and over again and getting no result is a definition of stupidity.
Like posting over and over threads like this, who are you trying to convince? what is your authority for your many (baseles) claims?, you ask a question and when a respected community member takes time to respond to your obvious troll you say "nothing was said here"?

so anyway this weeks stupidity award goes to Faisal7 - congrats man, go get a life Smiley

OP is an account primarily designed for trolling. See his past posts.

5607  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 4 BTC Loan for 2 Days on: June 02, 2012, 05:39:27 PM
You're a good man, gweedo.  At least it was only ~$20 worth of BTC.  As a general rule of thumb for the future, anybody with an account less than 4-6 weeks old asking for handouts is 99% chance a scammer.

This, especially the bolded parts. I'm too bored to call out scams this couple of days, and here they come again. (probably the same guy anyway)
5608  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ Bonus PPS Pool - 110% ] - Public Beta - REGISTRATION OPEN on: June 01, 2012, 04:09:20 PM
My hashrates have been showing consistently below 50% of my total actual hashrate for a couple of hours already. Is this something on my side or yours?  Huh

John can you just make sure all your miners did reconnect, I only see peak of 630mh from you to the pool, between 600-630mh.

Seems that the problems is solved, sorry for the late reply. There is only the excessive stales problem left. Cheesy

A 50% cut seems too steep for words too.
5610  Economy / Securities / Re: Unexpected GLBSE downtime. on: May 31, 2012, 06:08:04 PM
Twitter status account and mailing list is a great idea, I'll get to work adding them.

There is a desktop Google Auth application http://code.google.com/p/gauth4win/downloads/detail?name=gauth4win.rar

Although I don't know how secure this app is(I've not checked it out).

Guys please ensure that you are not using the same password on different websites, this is the primary cause of accounts getting compromised.

Again, sorry for the downtime but it's better safe than sorry.

Nefario

Just a question but what happens when I lose my phone(or flash a new rom?). Is their a easy way to reset the authentication ?

If you lose it no, no easy way.

Best thing to do is write down the code.
Oh no. I've scanned it to my phone, and the QR-code has disappeared from my settings page. What should I do to get the code? The GA app is still working in my phone, I just want a backup as I flash my phone regularly.
5611  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to see how many bitcoins I can get just by asking on: May 31, 2012, 05:34:42 PM
I'll post the results in this thread.

Experiment will expire in exactly 24 hours

My goal is to be shocked

I nominate this guy to receive little to nothing.

You'll be shocked as there would be next to nil.

5615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for investor of 8.5 BTC on: May 31, 2012, 10:50:22 AM
BitDragon,

I am currently considering trying to raise bitcoins to a value of 100000 USD through the IPO.

What I am offering in this case is a micro investment:

Quote:

I was wondering if someone would be interested in investing 8.5 BTC in an IPO/Startup?

I am about to set up an IPO on GLBSE and I would be happy to offer bitcoins to a value of 85 USD in return within 6 months, under condition that the venture is profitable enough to break even after all expenses are paid including this one.

Explanation:

I will aim to return bitcoins to a value of 85 USD to the investor. 8.5 BTC today have a value of about 42.5 USD. Thus, this would be a 100% ROI if the venture is successful. It is a micro investment obviously but I am looking to collaborate with investors on a long term basis so this could be a good first contract to start with.

Regards

SRON

I will try to ignore negative remarks from negative people as much as possible. It's just not worth it.

This has scam written all over it.
This. Ignores me when I asked you about your identity too. Bolded part too.
5616  Economy / Lending / Re: Dream Islands banking and loans [need to sell 5BTC bad debt] on: May 30, 2012, 04:32:37 PM
Update-I need to sell 5BTC debt as TheLastDovah owes me (and failed to give collateral) BTC.
If anyone is intersted please PM me and I'll give a separate BTC address for selling off bad debt.I need to keep this venture afloat by selling off bad debt.

If someone has advice or is interested in buying some of the debt please reply to me via PM or on here.Once the debt is resolved,I plan to restructure the lending business so it's much less prone to losing money in future.Improving business practices is important to a successful expansion at this early stage for the lending portion (of it anyway).

Dovah is long gone...

Hope you get someone to buy it though!
Nah, he should be back by now, either as Butense or some other new nicks.

5618  Economy / Lending / Re: 50 BTC loan request. on: May 30, 2012, 03:25:00 PM
Okay, so unless the OP can explain why he lives in South Africa, he is selling Australian iTunes cards and offering Australian Dollar PayPal for bitcoins, and has a skype account profile listed as in Azerbaijan, I think it's time to begin proceedings to get a scammer tag.
Yeah, about time I guess. Fake ID (photoshop) anyone?
Not to be condescending, but as I've said it from the start...

Hi there,

This is a newbie account but I have been following the Bitcoin forum for a long time.

SRON

In a nutshell: Who are you, and why should we trust you to not run off with the coins? 8.5 BTC seems small for an IPO, and if you do not have the ~$45 to invest how are you supposed to earn the 85 USD in return? Also, I'm concerned with this(highlighted). Are you in effective telling me that, 'I'll payback IF and only IF I profit, and you'll be stranded with no coins IF I don't profit.'

Sorry for being harsh - but there is a long drama in the lending subforum already which is related to this kind of 'investment' stuff.
