Any news about Polo listing?

P.s: don't send to slack pls Wink

There was never any news for Polo listing, the Polo listing is speculation at this point. You can certainly help that effort by filling out the form on Polo, but I think we need to wait on that for a little bit. It's easier to target the smaller exchanges for now. Polo likes to ninja add. Roll Eyes
I don't said that there was news about Polo, I'm asking about Polo news at all Smiley No news about Polo, then ok,  we are waiting news about smaller exchanges and we patient people  Wink

You nailed it! Certainly would help if you go to some of the other exchanges and fill out request forms  Grin
I am not a news maker, I'm news reader Cheesy So just point me an exchange and I'll do it Cool

These are the ones we've been trying to target so far. I would avoid C-cex and Yobit. C-cex...because it's C-cex, and Yobit because it's Yobit and they've already got the "fake" Ubiqoin on there.

As I said I'll vote with glad in any of this exchanges, but, damn, why in addcoin lists of any of this exchanges there is no UBQ coin at all?! Why devs don't add coin in addcoin lists, it just matter of $ as I understand, no???

I think a better question is why should dev's have to bribe their way onto any platform? That's not the way this type of thing should work. Dev's shouldn't have to pay an exchange money so that exchange can put the dev's coin on their website and earn more money.
With this approach Bittrex will be the one exchange where UBQ placed Wink

UBQ will be listed in more places over time. The devs do not have to bribe anyone Smiley

^julian has publicly stated gone on record that he thinks poloniex are scammers so thats why $JBS was never listed there!! Shocked

https://ubiqsmart.com/coinswapclaim/
is now 404

I filled the form 3 weeks ago, and the UBQ address for the the claim shows ZERO.

we announced the swap and had the form available since september.. If your late submission has not been processed please contact me in the ubiq slack so we can resolve the issue, most likely the information provided is not correct. (e.g the signature failed)

The claim form is temporarily down as we have been migrating servers. It will be back soon.

^SO WHAT YOU TOLD ME LAST NIGHT WAS FABRICATED?? YOU SAID MY BALANCE WAS ZERO ++ NO COINS!!! Shocked

You can only cry wolf so many times before people stop giving a shit. I'm honestly shocked they've been able to influence the market as many times as they have.
Indeed. It looks like this time it has very little effect (or none) this time.
Price on BTCC: $969.38
Price on Bitstamp: $1024.08

 Cheesy Cheesy

March 15th = SHORTSQUEEZE!!!! THEY ARE SHORT COINS!!! :-D  HOLY SMOKES!!
It would be amazing to see the ETF get approved just a bit after that (I forgot the exact dates). That would ignite a nice rocket and China would just end up losing even more footing. Tongue

^Chinese whales are legitimately fomo panic buying right now!! lol :-D
5615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: February 16, 2017, 12:51:47 PM
There are few cryptos what are on market from long time maybe will some few more but thay will exist together with bitcoin,it is any problem it is even very good to have some real strong alternatives
I think bitcoin will stay forever as a cryptocurrency and noone will replace it. Because bitcoin is a really efficient crypto and even there a lot of others that are being created they are still being called alt coins.
Lets say there are new created and being piqued of interest by many people, yes it will be popular, but bitcoin will be standing there a top of that alt coin. I think nothing can replace bitcoin by another cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin is not immune to problems and if big ones occur, then people might look for altcoins. Especially now with the blocksize problems and the uncertainty of soft fork, hard fork and different 2nd layer solutions. The worst case being that Bitcoin can not handle the Volume anymore and no solution is in place or while trying to implement one something goes wrong. This is what many people are afraid of and also how an altcoin could overtake Bitcoin very quickly. If the altcoin would then be the maincoin and we would call Bitcoin an altcoin is hard to say, but this depends on the people in the crypto world

In fact, it cuts both ways

While considering the possibility that Bitcoin is hard to update (even if there is a real need for updates like SegWit and likely Lightning Network), we should not forget that it may actually contribute to wider Bitcoin popularity since it will be looked at as something rock solid, immutable and invariable. These qualities are what is required for a reliable store of value, anyway. If gold changed its shine every two years, would it be as valuable as it is?

^lightning network is just an extra layer...may solve some short term practical issues ~*
===> long term= store of value is bitcoins' ultimate gimmick!! :-D

China bans Bitcoin on BTCC again?  Cheesy

Quote
Dear Customer, BTCChina will continue upgrading its inspection and verification system for bitcoin and litecoin withdrawals to aggressively guard against money laundering, illegal money exchange, pyramid schemes, and other illegal activity. As a result, bitcoin and litecoin withdrawals will be suspended from February 15th until March 15th. Bitcoin and litecoin withdrawals will be resumed as soon as industry standards are settled and the inspection and verification system has been upgraded. Please note: 1. Bitcoin and litecoin withdrawals will resume as soon the inspection and verification system has been upgraded. We will let customers know as soon as this happens. 2. CNY deposits and withdrawals will not be affected; if customers want to withdraw funds within a shorter period, they can first trade their bitcoins and litecoins for CNY on the exchange and then withdraw the CNY. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding, The BTCChina Team February 15th, 2017

Casino Lawyer Covers Anti-Money Laundering Law in EU

Cover copy
We are pleased to announce that Casino Lawyer magazine is featuring an article by Christine Duhaime on the new EU 4th AML directive entitled: “New EU Anti-Money Laundering Directive to Affect I-Gaming” available here

In the article, Ms. Duhaime discusses politically exposed persons, beneficial ownership regime changes, risk assessments, the expanded role of Financial Intelligence Units for internet gambling, and expanded customer due diligence.

“The key change,” said Ms. Duhaime, “is that the definition of obliged entities is changing to cover all providers of gambling services which now clearly captures Internet or online gambling. The rationale for the change in the EU was to address evidence that was presented to the European Commission of vulnerabilities of Internet gambling to money laundering and terrorist financing, and in particular to ensure that organized crime does not use online gaming platforms to launder funds.”
