5601  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitadress.org on: June 24, 2017, 04:26:39 PM
I have never heard this name of site. Don't ever use any bitcoin online wallet that doesn't have people recommendations of their services, remember one thing, you want to store your money online make sure you choose the safest one.
There's an online wallet (mobile/Android) called coinomi. It's possible to generate bitcoin wallet address, and not only litecoin, it provide more altcoins.
You're Sr member already and it takes months before getting that activity/rank so you should read this somewhere else on this forum but you still didn't hear about this site? Roll Eyes
Bitaddress.org is one of the trusted tools related to Bitcoin if you didn't know or heard about this site then you should. Though it's a trusted tool people are recommending that use the offline of this app, clone it or just download the zip file here https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org
Anyways there are so many answers already about this topic/question and OP get the answer of his question/s already.
I guess you should lock this thread now to prevent from spam attacks Wink
5602  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Wallet BitCoin 0.0001 Tranzaction fee on: June 24, 2017, 09:55:03 AM
The main purpose of that site is to scam. People now a days wants a transaction fee that is too low but how can you sure that you'll receive your bitcoin using that wallet which has 0.0001? It will takes days or weeks maybe, or it will comeback to the sending address, to the website's wallet. Roll Eyes
5603  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Unofficial] Exodus Wallet | Multi-Currency | Built-in Exchange on: June 24, 2017, 02:57:07 AM
Nice update from the dev, maybe I will update it later.
But it is much better if they add dynamic fees in making transaction for bitcoin. Because there are issues and instances when sending, they get too huge for a transaction fee since exodus generate the tx fee itself when sending.
5604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 24, 2017, 02:37:40 AM
i got 428 drps by one hour to the end of the crowdsale.

i have a feeling i will gain some money. im so newbie and a person who just made some exchange a couple hours ago.

im curious about when can i trade it? and what price will it be start from?
You can trade when the tokens are available already in any exchange, or the future exchange of dcorp itself, if you're asking if when is the specific date, you can try look it from their roadmap or whitepaper on main website or download here https://github.com/frankbonnet/DCORP-Whitepaper/blob/master/whitepaper%20v0.3.2_EN-revised.pdf
5605  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BEST BITCOIN WALLET FOR ANDROID on: June 24, 2017, 02:00:00 AM
mycelium?
this is the first time i heard a bitcoin wallet for android i think i need to replace my current wallet (which is an online wallet service)
can i ask, how can i transfer from mycelium to another wallet (online wallet service) ? is there any fee?
Thank you

Yeah, it's recommended wallet in any smartphones. So what kind of online/web wallet you have? If it has a feature of exporting its private key then you can do it easily. But if it doesn't have, then let me get your answer first so people can assist you.
5606  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Cant import private key. on: June 24, 2017, 01:42:02 AM
Are you sure that you import the right private keys from your blockchain.info wallet? If not maybe you can follow this steps exporting your private keys How to Export Blockchain.info's Private Key. It's using the bip39 generator from iancoleman.
Or you can just paste the seed from your blockchain wallet to your electrum.

Note that if you have the different format of wallet instead of Bip39 since the HD wallet of blockchain is using Bip39 format, then it will not works.
5607  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Help me get the Blockchain password on: June 23, 2017, 05:57:47 PM
No, sorry, without the 12 phrase from your blockchain.info's wallet you can't recover your bitcoins there unless some blockchain.info staff help you here if you still have the email and the Wallet ID the one that use to login in your blockchain account, then maybe you can start to contact their support  on their site, or contact them via their social media accounts such as facebook and twitter.
5608  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitadress.org on: June 23, 2017, 03:01:26 PM
HI-TEC99 is right, bitaddress.org from the word itself the site/program can only produce or generate a Bitcoin wallet address not a litecoin one. If you want to have a secured litecoin wallet then I can recommend using the electrum wallet for litecoin. Though I never use this wallet since then, but I can make sure that this wallet is secured as like their bitcoin wallet do. You can download it here https://electrum-ltc.org/
For more information, it's a desktop wallet it can only be use on your computer Wink
5609  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How to Locate a Private Key on: June 23, 2017, 02:41:56 PM
The bolded in the two different quotes sound contradictory to me. I am at a loss. Is it a case of differing opinions or I lack the knowledge to understand what has been said?
I used Mycelium over a year already and never faced that feature, only the seed/phrase as a restore option/backup can be exported using this wallet.
You can only export the private key of an imported address on Mycelium (since you imported it on the app on first place), not the address/es that was created by Mycelium HD wallet.
5610  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How to Locate a Private Key on: June 23, 2017, 11:46:26 AM
Now, I want to download a bitcoin wallet from Google playstore for Android phones.  Where can the private key be found?
If you are referring the app "Bitcoin Wallet" on play store by Bitcoin wallet Developer then it's okay to use. But there's no feature that will export its private keys and its seed. But there is a feature of backuping your wallet from a .dat file which is encrypted with password you input.. And also on electrum android app and mycelium, there's no feature to export your private key but you can backup your seed to restore your funds in case of losing your phone.
5611  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bit-blender.com - SCAM!! on: June 23, 2017, 02:12:38 AM
Are you sure that the first one who appear on google page this fake website? I tried it on my browset but it appears the bitblender.io not the fake one. It's really recommended that you have to double or even tripled checked the url once you want to use this kind of service because there's already too many clone site such service like this that wants to scam people.
5612  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: which is the best? Blockchain or Coinbase. on: June 23, 2017, 02:01:27 AM
I don't really know where they found this words that blockchain wallet is the most recommended while there are so many complains about them Roll Eyes
Blockchain wallet become popular because they worn the name of blockchain network, and most newbies in bitcoin use this wallet without thinking the risks when they use this. I'm not saying that blockchain wallet is bad or worst wallet but I just recommend that don't store huge funds on this kind of wallet which is web wallets/accounts including coinbase. I will stay still on Mycelium.
5613  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Online wallets on: June 23, 2017, 01:44:44 AM
I don't like online wallets. They're not safe because they're holding your private keys. This means they have the key to do whatever you want like stealing your coins too.
Not all of online wallet holding your private key, there are some that giving your private key like blockchain (though i don't recommend this online wallet )
I'm not using Blockchain.info, but I remember that they don't give wallet private keys to their users. Correct me if I'm wrong.
That's right, you can't access your private keys this new update of blockchain wallet which is HD wallets.
If I were you OP, use a desktop wallet if you have a PC this wallet is much safer than in any kind of wallet, and of course you must secured first your device. And Electrum is the that I'm talking about.
And a Mycelium wallet if you have smartphone, this wallet is the most recommended mobile wallet eversince, so you must use it too Wink
5614  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Custom Fee on: June 22, 2017, 02:25:56 AM
Any news on manual custom fees?

Even "low-priority" option is 150 sat/byte, when you can easily send a tx with just 30-40 sat/byte fee and get a confirmation in 6 blocks.
30-40 sat/byte is not really recommended, it will take hours and even days if you use this, and I don't think Mycelium will do that tho there transaction fee is totally huge. But I'm always using 'low prio' and it always confirmed early than I expected maybe I just lucky.

And for this feature blockchain, info had this. Which you can set your fee by sat/byte I mean you're the only one who will put manually for the number of sat/byte. But never used it since I didn't use blockchain wallet for sending and not recommended IMO.

5616  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Help an ignorant newb with MyCelium on: June 21, 2017, 03:15:30 PM
So, every time I send from mycelium wallet....  it sends ALL my funds
example  I enter $120 to send... i hit priority fee... it shows $2.25     then i click send....and boom... it zaps my account for $126 and adds the extra to the sending fee.
I know i am missing something obvious,  please help
Firstly, don't use Fiat amounts when referencing bitcoin transactions... It is confusing and can be largely irrelevant. The currency is so volatile that it could simply be that the reason you are seeing different amounts is that the exchange rate is changing...

I would suggest working in BTC amounts... that way it is easier to tell if the system is sending or less than you expect it to.

This would be the reason why people are little bit confused, currently, $2.25 is 0.0008xxxx BTC and it is just enough for transaction fee than paying more than 0.001 IMO. And I'm not using 'priority' when sending using Mycelium I'm only using low-priority ever since well it confirms less than 3 hours except, if there's a huge backlog from the network.
And BTW I'm more than a year user of Mycelium too.
5617  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mixer for safety on: June 21, 2017, 10:08:33 AM
I use www.starcasinobitcoin.com/mixer , to mix it take about 2 hour to go to my address, the bits came from many addresses, is this really safe?
You will wait for 2 hours to reflect your bitcoin in your wallet Embarrassed that is not safe for me
Why dont use some reputable mixer such as bitmixer.io

How come he will use Bitmixer for this it's obviously that he's promoting  his/her scam website. And its too obvious that its a copy paste and even the design of Bitmixer.io Roll Eyes

EDIT: The site is already scam as a casino that was accused month/s ago.

BEWARE! AND STAY AWAY!
5618  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can someone help me on my Stuck Transactions? on: June 21, 2017, 09:11:10 AM
They are confirmed already bro since your transaction fee is enough and the transaction size/byte is not that huge to include it in 1-3 blocks.
Maybe you can lock already the thread Wink
5619  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is Exodus Safe?? to store your crypto assests for long time? on: June 21, 2017, 04:03:19 AM
I dunno also if exodus is much better and safer to store with huge funds since it's stated on their web page http://support.exodus.io/knowledge_base/topics/is-exodus-open-source that
Quote
Is Exodus open source?

Exodus is NOT 100% open source.
So it's up to you if you were still going to use this wallet, but actually, I'm using it also, not to store with bitcoin but some altcoin like ETH, since I can access my private keys there.
5620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold on: June 21, 2017, 01:36:00 AM
I sold about 10% of my stash. I'm not sure whether the bubble has burst or not, but I decided I'll take some profit (bought at sub $100). We might see $5000 or $10000 in the next few days, but I'm pretty sure the price will go down to $1500 (or even lower) at some point in the next few months or next year, and that's when I'll buy more. If that doesn't happen then it's fine, I'll invest in something else.

What do you think of my decision?
Wrong move my friend, price will never reached the low price which is 1500$ again., im seeing bitcoin price will hit 5000$ before the end of this year. I will never ever sold my bitcoin this 2017.
What's wrong with that? He bought the coins when it still at $100ish so now can you still say it's a wrong move, he earned a lot with multiple times from that. And it's a smart move IMO, 10% of his stash is not bad to sell when you know you'll get profit.
And I don't think if how many people are still holding their balls from buying from the range of $100-$200 long ago and still waiting when BTC reach 3k or even more.
