5601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: November 26, 2016, 12:30:07 PM
the danger of cryptocurrencies is I think the price itself because it is very volatile and yeah be carefull of hacker
I don't consider the volatility of Cryptocurrencies as a kind of danger. For me it is a kind of way for traders to make a profit out of it. It depends on when the trader will buy and well will he sell. For its volatility we can say that a trader can make dozens of transaction to take profit as price changes can happen more than once a day. Also hackers are easy to avoid with the right wallet, my wallet for example sends me a text message with a verification code every time I or Someone else will access it on a different device.
5602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince my dad that Bitcoin is a trustful currency ? on: November 26, 2016, 08:10:48 AM
Maybe your daw knows too much bad information that is why he is on the negative side, yes criminals use Bitcoin but not all Bitcoin users are criminals in fact criminals are only in the small number of users. You can tell to your dad that he has nothing to worry about as Bitcoin is a currency which is more valuable than any Fiat currency in the world. Also you can tell that you are not using Bitcoin to do illegal activities.
5603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: November 26, 2016, 06:12:45 AM
Now there is a sensible target for A.C. Milan, 2 Olympique Lyon players are now on A.C. Milan's radar both Tolisso and Fekir will be a good addition in the midfield. This would be ideal compared to the Harry Kane 70 Million Euro price for him. I wish this coming transfer window will help Milan's Squad in a big way. Hopefully the come back playing in the Champion's League soon.
5604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: November 25, 2016, 10:05:33 AM
Maybe find something New same as gambling like addiction. Also you should set your mind like this gambling will just make you lose money. No one can help your from get out of gambling only you can set your mind.Give time to your family and spends time on something interested in real life.Maybe you will be able to get out from gambling.
Agree there are some good gambling website to be addictive and you can try you another luck in another gambling sites i don't actually stict to one gambling website if i lose there then i will find another gambling website where i try to played with big amount to bring back what i've lost.
i dont see the point in replacing one addiction with something that you will be addicted with also. well, gambling addiction is a different case since it involves money but i think the best way would still be to make time for more important things. try to put interest in spending time with your family or doing hobbies that are worth your time that would not compromise things that are much more important.
In my area I know some people who are really addicted and they try their best for so many time to stop gambling, but after some time day the start gambling again and again.
I too think these suggestion are very easy to offer to others but very difficult to follow by a gambler for his own life. Maybe those "trying" gamblers may start a services to advice others on how to stop gambling and may start earning.
What is the logic you are talking about? Because OP is asking specifically on staying away from gambling, yet you commented to them to try other gambling sites to try their luck again. Obviously OP doesn't want to play another gambling site but to change and move on from it. I hope this clarify a lot of things. As going to another site is not the solution we are looking for.
5605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 25, 2016, 07:47:08 AM
People can use bitcoin and other alt coins to buy drugs but eventually the law enforcement would catch up with it and bust all the drug users and drug sellers. You can look at the past and see how things have come and go on. So stay away and be safe!
Yes looking at how silk road end up and owner get busted for a silly mistake he have made by posting his real email address on starting days can be taken as good example if you get involved in illegal items trade you will end up in police station.

I don't think the law can catch up to the illegal things that happen around with Bitcoin. For example hyip site owners can run a new site and yake all your money and will not be caught with it. And I don't think the FBI or any in position are currently concentrating on Bitcoin in particular for now.
5606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: November 25, 2016, 03:51:17 AM
Nope, gambling is simply said not safe, its based on luck and you can either win or lose a lot of money its just depending on how you are looking towards it.
I think that its pretty easy to say honestly.
Correct anyone interested in gambling must accept the fact that there is no way to gamble and not to lose money in the process, it is part of how the game is designed, if you don't want to lose money then don't gamble.

If you look around the internet, there is a safe methods in gamble.  Method that will not give you a sure win but method that will more likely keep you safe from losing all your bankroll and or losing your sanity and become gambling addict.

Some of these method is to stay in focus, keep tract of your statistcs, don't be greedy and know when to quit.
But the methods you are saying will likely don't give you any progress at gambling at all, You know the words " the less risky, the less the return" well it is all true as every gambling and investment that offers safe chances sometimes also has less returns. In gambling you really need to gamble away your money in chance to win big, not in  a chance to lose small, that is the point of gambling.
5607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 25, 2016, 12:31:01 AM
I think it will not happen. because bitcoin is the first currency in the world of crypto.
You got that part right. In terms of market share Bitcoin is the most superior cryptocurrency in the market. Also in terms of price, Bitcoin is the most valuable virtual money out there. Even if every month there are a bunch of ICOs happening claiming that they are better than Bitcoin, it can't beat it as they are the first one to be available in the market.
5608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: November 24, 2016, 02:59:36 PM
Read a big transfer rumour for A.C. Milan today, and that involves the acquisition of Harry Kane the Striker from Tottenham. Although A.C. Milan needs a partner for Carlos Bacca in the front, it will cost them 70 Million Euros to offer Tottenham, in which I disagree with them as spending that much for one player is too much, they can buy 3 good players with that kind of money, and midfield is their real problem.
5609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: November 24, 2016, 02:34:28 AM
Maybe if you discovered Bitcoin 4 years ago this would apply and make you a billionaire, but for now the price of Bitcoin is now on the 700$ mark which is pretty high and you will profit less if you convert your Fiat to BTC right now, while there are other great investments such as the stock market which you can pick a variety of stocks in which you can buy. I hope this would help.
5610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the 'purpose' and 'nature' of Bitcoin? Some questions. on: November 24, 2016, 12:05:00 AM
Bitcoin just like any other kinds of currency is used to buy stuff, the only thing different is that Bitcoin adapted to our generation of tech people. Compared to any Fiat money it doesn't have any features unique to Bitcoin which is security and portability. But for me Bitcoin also has a down side and the biggest down side I see is that it is a limited currency in which it will not be enough to become the global currency.
5611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 23, 2016, 02:51:21 PM
This game between Cleveland Cavaliers v Portland Trail Blazers will be close game. Any team which will be the winner is going to have narrow margin to win. Portland Trail Blazers are capable to turn the table that is what stops me to go for mainline. Under 218.5 points @1.80 odds is of what alternative I didn't find for the game.

I agree, Cleveland is playing great but it has been very laid back in some of their games. Lebron is playing well below his playoff efforts and that's understandable but it's also a major liability. Kevin Love on the other hand is doing great.

I watched the Blazers last night against the Knicks and they fought hard all game, and it would be a back to back game so keep that in mind in your bets tonight.
Lebron's playing performance might be related on how he is tired on playing the game and he just want to play his full game on the playoffs, I also read something about him not starting anymore , even though he is the youngest in the all-time scoring list he doesn't wanna be known for just being a scorer but to be the #1 Champion of all time. And I know he is in favor of reducing 82 games to 62 games a season. For an athlete he is tired of playing games.
5612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2016, 11:25:37 AM
Actually I am not using it right now, but I am holding them for future and growth purposes. Also because of the lack of availability on where to spent it, either way it is a win-win situation for me as it helps me save money and also grow it from time to time. I think that is one way of using Bitcoin for us Investors.
5613  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: November 23, 2016, 06:27:11 AM
Most of them doesn't care about how Bitcoin changing our daily lives and not seeing the good thing Bitcoin is doing. They actually want to cling on the norm currency and don't want to embrace the new type of currency we are having now that's why they hating BTC  Wink

Or maybe they are just afraid of something new. After all, this is a serious area of life. Not everyone is able to take risks

Do you think that people don't want to take a risk?
You know many people who do business they every time ready to take risk, also you can see many big investors and merchants, they are always ready to take a high risk, Only a few persons are here who don't take risk. Otherwise if we have trust in any currency than no problem to take risk.
Actually Bitcoin has indirectly help my daily living. By indirectly I mean I don't have any options right now on where to spend Bitcoin directly to any shops locally in my country, so In order for me to use Bitcoin I need to comvert it to Fiat to make it more useful, But in terms of growth Bitcoin give me more value for my money as it grows faster than any Fiat currency.
5614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 22, 2016, 06:01:20 PM
I think also that most of the bitcoin users used the bitcoin in legitimate transaction because bitcoin has a great services that everybody can be benefited that is why more users using it legally to maintain the bitcoin existence.

No matter if a person uses bitcoin in a wrong way as long as he is not doing it openly, because no one would even come to know if bitcoin was used for something bad if the person does not do something that is clear to the public which can result a bad reputation for bitcoin in the community outside this.
Well if we are talking about it in the perspective of Bitcoin then for the sake of its reputation we need to use it in a legal way, but let us remember all currencies that are in the world are being used in both legal and illegal means. Well I never heard of any Fiat currency having a bad reputation because it is used in buying of drugs anyway.
5615  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: November 22, 2016, 03:41:09 AM
Although I dont know the number of people on this forum, but I know its not a few spread across countries and continents, that sends a signal and that we have one thing in common and that is our belief in Bitcoin so if you are are sure of your resolution just ask yourself " what are all these people doing here?" and your questions will be answered whether to believe or not?...

Exactly, it depends on the beliefs of an individual about bitcoin, if you think it does not worth your believe then just don't, if you think it does then do believe on it, as the guy mentioned above, you should think that why would so many people be involved with something if it does not deserve believing?

Most people only look the temporal profit. They cannot understand or they don’t mind that bitcoin is a real revolution for the world economy. The logic of his creator as well as and those who had implemented it had other causes and not only the financial profit. So if you believe in creator/s beliefs you believe in bitcoin.

I believe that Satoshi is aiming something for the good of all people and as well as the world economy. But of course, we can't remove those people who are subject to against this good project. But I can say that as long as we already proved that bitcoin is real and tough currency. Then more and more of us will keep on trusting it.
For some people its hard to believe that something that only exist virtually has bigger value than a fiat currency, also even though there is a value that big because it only exist virtually they are scared that some day it will be gone without a trace or something related to that. Also what we can rely now is for people in businesses to start accepting Bitcoin as they will be the stepping stone for more people to accept it.
5616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gradma knows about bitcoin. on: November 21, 2016, 03:47:23 PM
In the video I stopped after where the Old Woman scene ends. And all I can say is that the old woman was just amaze on the so called "new technology" of apple pay. I don't know if I can translate it right but she is trying to say is that she can't keep up with all the new things from Bitcoin as a kind of currency now there is a currency, the guy just basically put the wrong thought on the old lady, poor grandma.
5617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: November 21, 2016, 02:44:59 PM
If will dont store then its worthless because from elementary economics we learnt that for anything to be money then it must "store of value" I.e we should be able to store it and even in the common sense way how will it be interesting if there is no forces of demand and supply playing out on Bitcoin if some people didn't hold and create artificial scarcity then increase its value and do otherwise then decrease it value and that is the beauty of Bitcoin.

It is better to save most of the bitcoins and use a small proportioin of coin. So the circulation will raise the price.

Good thing some newbies think like this and we need more of that to encourage merchants into making business in the bitcoin territory. That will really help a lot when they read this kind of thiughts from new ones.
Well if we are talking about Economics here than I might contribute something good, in Economics they thought as the allocation of resources whether it is scarce or not we need to properly allocate it. However for my side of the story I still have enough Fiat currency earnings that keeps me away from using my Bitcoin for daily expenses, It is one of the good things from having enough resource.
5618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: November 21, 2016, 01:17:07 PM
I think you can use to gamble bitcoin by dividing the percentage of investment / trading remainder to be stored. I think for gambling has the highest risk. I recommend trading of the gambling or investment
But in the Bitcoin world the only investment either you hold your money in your wallet or you put your money in a hyip/ ponzi site which is also risky as gambling. Better play your chances in gambling than play your money in an investment scheme that any time of the day they can run away with your money.
5619  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: November 21, 2016, 09:45:45 AM
Remember you said the word "earn". How can they earn something in a faucet if they only incurring lost through out the process of claiming. Without the realization Electricity cost is actually bigger than what you will earn the whole day claiming bitcoin. I suggest that your kids first study about the Bitcoin so that they can contribute something in the forum, because having a sig campaign is one of the profitable way to earn BTC.
5620  Other / Archival / Re: What would you say to people who advice you to sell all your bitcoin? on: November 21, 2016, 06:01:50 AM
It is a matter of personal preferences or needs. For example my advice will depend on who is listening if the Bitcoin holder's purpose is investing I would advice him not to sell yet their Bitcoin not until they reach  the margin of $900 - $1000 as it can give them a high value for their money. Not all people have the same objective in life so really it is up to the person who is in possession of the Bitcoin on whether to sell it or not.
