5601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know exact price i bought a coin at? on: September 16, 2019, 10:21:01 AM
is there a way to get up to minute on exactly how much binance coin cost on say january 1 2018 at say 2pm exactly etc?

This is what I don't like on binance exchange and I think it's impossible to get your trading history if it's almost a year. You can try contacting their support and ask if its possible to get your trading history from that time.

But I hope this helps you https://imgur.com/a/mkh8KrR
If you want to check a price of cryptocurrency in a specific time just go to coinmarketcap and sort the calendar date gap to only 1 day. I suggest you doing this in a computer or laptop.

Sadly here in the Philippines, a typical Filipino only saves $100 for their future. Some Filipino here are one-day millionaire, when they receive their salary they buy things they don't really need and in the long run they go in debt. Also one of the reason why only few people can really save for their future here is the salary, what they earn is just enough to provide the needs of their family so some goes to abroad just to earn more.

5604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheaters . who caused the cryptocurrency to go down on: September 16, 2019, 05:41:43 AM
What do you think about the project that spent a lot of money to advertise but was taken advantage of by cheater, I saw a person who created a lot of accounts to cheat and eat over 5000 $, there are really a lot of very good projects. but it is these fraudsters that cause those projects to die. I think there needs to be a company specializing in combating fraudsters. Cryptocurrency can grow

Imo this is not the cheater's fault and I'm sure he's not the only one that did it. If the team don't plan well their promotion and don't think of possible loopholes for people to abuse it then one or more person would really earn plenty of money from it. I know some people who even don't sleep just to grab that chance to earn.

What the team can do about this is limit the number of accounts per IP, ban the use of disposable emails and if possible newly created emails can't register for their promotion.

5606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Books on: September 13, 2019, 01:37:57 PM
What are some of your favorite books on Bitcoin?

Here are a few of mine.

Bitcoin For Dummies by Prypto
Mastering Bitcoin: Programming The Open Blockchain by Andreas M. Antonopoulos
The Internet Of Money by Andreas M. Antonopoulos
Cryptoassets: The Innovative Investors Guide To Bitcoin And Beyond by Chris Burniske and Jack Tatar
The Bitcoin Standard: The Decentralized Alternative To Central Banking by Saifedean Ammous

Smartphone is a trend on our current generation so I think only few people still reads books nowadays that almost all have an access on the internet. Those are really helpful but to obtain those books still costs some money. If you can get the same info for free then the majority would prefer it.
5607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 13, 2019, 12:56:27 PM
Nothing wrong with gambling as long as you can afford to lose the amount you’re betting with. Gambling can be seen as a hobby, most hobbies cost money.

This can be compared to an online game where usually non spenders envies and mocks people who can afford to buy expensive skins or boost their stat quickly because of money. They say that it is just a game so what's the reason of spending huge amount of money. In the first place if you enjoy what you're doing and you can also afford it then it isn't bad to spend money.

Small-time or casual gamblers don't realize that those bigtime gamblers are what making the gambling site or casino alive for many years.
5608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 13, 2019, 12:01:45 PM
Honestly, the industry has become mostly a gamble now, especially when it comes to investing in ICOs and IEOs. You pretty much need to get lucky to see a positive ROI.

That is because the team behind that project only wants to get money from investors. If you really want to earn on investing in IEO and ICO you must review well their team. Unlike the ICOs in the past years where the advisor of the team's project are famous and well reputated in the crypto community.

Similarly, holding altcoins for any reasonable period of time is tantamount to gambling, considering the VAST majority of these decrease in value over long time-frames.

Looking at the top altcoins in the coinmarketcap its USD value didn't change that much but if you base on the altcoin-btc value it really depreciates but I guess it's normal, imagine ethereum's price is 0.1btc at $10k/btc then the price would be $1k each which is too expensive imo.
5609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antiviruses on: September 13, 2019, 06:22:19 AM
@cryptojor

anti-virus is a pointless waste of space, just delete the av program

Recently I just found a trojan virus in my pc where it mines cryptocurrency without my consent. Good thing I always look at task manager and found out about that where its usage is very high. I searched a solution on the internet and suggested me to download an antivirus. I downloaded bitdefender, scan my computer and removed that virus.

At first I also don't believe on those programs as I think they just make my pc lag but after that incident happened I will always install antivirus software.

5611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: September 12, 2019, 02:14:47 PM
Why nowadays when there's a gambling site that offer a bunos on your first depost it seems like scam?  Especially if the bunos is to much than your initial deposit.

And also whe all knows mostly gambling site nowadays are using KYC.  but why when there's a promising site that doesn't require  kyc it smell fishy as well?  What did happen to this world?  How to trust again on this kind of sites?

If it's too good to be true then there is a high chance it is a scam. On kyc it is not bad for me as long as that site has a good review. They are just preventing that the money that will be used on their site came from money laundering. If you're afraid to be scammed or your info to be sold in the black market gamble on the reputated websites like cloudbet, primedice, or fortunejack.
5612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 12, 2019, 01:34:48 PM
How can enjoy something that you know you will lose?

Each one of us has our own way of enjoyment. It is not your own money you lose on gambling so we should let them what they want. It's same playing a mmorpg game, you grind everyday making your character strong then after some time you quit because you don't enjoy the game. You don't really earn money and just waste time grinding and even spend real money but the enjoyment you get that time while playing can't be found anywhere.
5613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So what is your favorite crypto exchange for trading in 2019?🔥🔥🔥🚀🚀🚀 on: September 12, 2019, 12:45:26 PM
Binance is the best for me since it was established. They have mobile app so I can trade whenever I want. They don't have kyc for small trader like me. They don't have plenty of altcoins and the ones that are listed there have real projects and the volumes are also high.
5614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: September 12, 2019, 11:34:54 AM
ICO's will always be legit but the question here is the team behind that project will really do what their project says? Most ICO's these days are difficult to trust. They do an ICO then after that exchange listing takes very long amd they have many excuses why it was delayed until their token has no worth. ICO's way back 2017 are really good, some of them are still alive now and continues to develop their project. Their exchange listing also only took some weeks unlike today.

In terms of crypto exchange maisusuggest ko is binance.
5616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My gambling strategy on: September 11, 2019, 02:06:57 PM
Maybe it works for now but it won't last long. I've also tested many strategies on dice sites and some of them only worked once or twice but after that you'll only hit a losing streak. Your strategy gives a very small profit that a single loss is equivalent to many wins. One or two loss then your capital won't be easy to recover.
5617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Marketing And Religion on: September 11, 2019, 12:06:35 PM
As we know that Gambling is prohibited in certain religions including Islam. If anyone does it, the earned money is not legal and is considered Sin.

But what if someone is promoting a gambling site on social media etc, will the money earned from it be legal provided he will never directly gamble ?

Promoting a gambling business and doing it directly is different. You don't spend money on promoting a gambling site, you just help it to promote their business to have customers and the money you've earned from it came from the owner's budget not in a gambling game. Meanwhile if you gamble directly, you rely on luck to earn money which has a bad effect if you get addicted. I don't know the religion about Islam but maybe it is stated clearly on your bible there.
5618  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best crypto currency ever to trade in ? on: September 11, 2019, 10:51:48 AM
I want your suggestions about which crypto currency is best for trade with respect to maximum profit ratio and minimal loss.

Bitcoin is the best crypto to trade for me. On terms of profit you will decide it yourself but I believe it has less risk than trading other cryptos. Bitcoin has a huge potential in the future and many people expects its price to soar high when mass adoption really happens.
5619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Tips That You Should Know Before Trading on: September 11, 2019, 06:08:14 AM
OP's post is too long and I don't think a newbie would read it all. For me when I started trading, these are the things you should know before trading:

-Always DYOR before trading that crypto.
-Avoid listening to hypes and trust your self in trading.
-Trade on a high volume exchange and always enable its 2fa to avoid hacking.
-If your skills in trading is not enough yet don't put huge amount of money.
-Don't be afraid on mistakes, that is your best teacher.
-Study how to use different chart indicators.
-The most important is don't be greedy and set an achievable target profit or when you have an opportunity.

*September 23, 2019 = Bakkt will launch officially
*October 13, 2019 = SEC makes final decision on bitwise Bitcoin ETFs
*October 18, 2019 = SEC rules on whether to pass vanEck/solidX ETFs
*October = Mt. Gox Civil Rehabilitation Case
*May 2020 = Bitcoin Halving
