5622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is different between Bitcoin wallet, address and clients. on: November 17, 2019, 09:42:38 PM
There is another thing which is often confused. It's public key and Bitcoin address. Many people are thinking that's same thing. But it's not. I don't know how to explain difference in simple words but I will try. Public key is generated from private key. And Bitcoin address is hash derived from public key. I hope that someone can explain it better, because I can try to go deep into details, but it won't be clear enough.

Check the contest page to see where the 3rd place winner got their lottery tickets from.
This is something what I expected to see, because I didn't believed that he bought 11 million tickets. Seems that this user is one of the whales of Freebitco.in and lottery prize is just nice bonus for him.
5624  Other / Meta / Re: Do you agree to have 2fa Authentication on Bitcointalk.org? on: November 17, 2019, 09:17:16 PM
Many people are waiting for 2FA to be implemented here for many years already. But it won't be added before new forum software will be fully released.
Despite this, there is still some methods how to protect your Bitcointalk account. Starting from basic things like using strong and unique password. And finishing with things like staking your Bitcoin address with a signed message and using 2FA on your email account.
5625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: November 17, 2019, 09:01:30 PM
Nothing interesting in late games of evening. All favorites are leading. In these games I went with Iceland and France ML - low odds, but it's safe bets. Damn, why I didn't thought about making a parlay with these matches and Turkey goals over :/
I was almost certain that Serbia will win, but Ukraine equalized on 93rd minute. It was good game to watch.
F*ck, Moldova just scored and it' 1:1  Angry
5626  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 💥Boublr.com | Signature Campaign | Member+ 💥 on: November 17, 2019, 08:54:41 PM
There is no monopoly here. Thye are just providing a good service, they are here for a longer time, have more contacts, so people here them more.
Maybe monopoly isn't the most appropriate that I used. I just wanted to say that they have biggest share of market. Both you, me and other people here said main reasons why they dominate in campaign management.
5627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: November 17, 2019, 07:23:46 PM
Damn, what a crazy final laps! Verstappen - he fully deserved to win, he was great today. But I'm so sad for Albon, he deserved to get his first career podium today. But I doubt that Hamilton will get penalty for it. Sainz also was great today - from P20 to P4, and he may appear on podium if Hamilton will get penalty.
And completely disaster for Ferrari. This time it was completely fault of Vettel. There should be some serious talks between drivers and team after race.
And Gasly - first his career podium in Toro Rosso. This season is very difficult for him, so he deserved it after all. It's crazy that he got podium driving not for Red Bull but for Toro Rosso.
EDIT
Hamilton got 5 second pemalty after race, so it means that Carlos Sainz is 3rd. If I'm not mistakem, it's first Mclaren podium since 2014.
5628  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 💥Boublr.com | Signature Campaign | Member+ 💥 on: November 17, 2019, 12:04:59 PM
i on the other hand, see it in another way, i don't know if it is scam or not but i see that when a signature campaign finally comes out that is not managed by Hhampuz or yahoo62278 which unfortunately has a monopoly here, users who wear their signature do everything to discredit the manager by filling it with red trust and threatening the same thing for the eventual participants, compliments to the closed group and to the free opinion
Sorry, but it's complete nonsense. OP didn't got red trust because that he didn't hired Hhampuz or yahoo62278. Everything is because that this website is the most obvious ponzi scheme. As said above, there is plenty of campaigns managed by other managers and there any problems about it. All these red trust and warnings here are just to protect people.
And there was similar cases with your mentioned managers. Hhampuz was forced to close Livecoin campaign due to scam accusatioms against it. IIRC, yahoo also had to do same thing with one bounty earlier.
Hhampuz and yahoo have monopoly here not because they are threatening other campaign managers and participants, but simply because they are providing best quality services.
5629  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: November 16, 2019, 11:54:23 PM
I haven't saw any post about it, but I just noticed that someone won No. 1 prize on Freebitco.in with just 2 lottery tickets - it's 0.28655484 BTC or more than $2400. This guy must be really lucky. We all saw people winning in Freebitco.in lotter with very few tickets, but it's probably first player who won 1st prize with just 2 tickets.
On the other hand, No.3 winner won 0.07 BTC when he had over 11 million tickets. Considering that ticket costs 1 Satoshi, he spent more than he won (unless he received tickets from gambling activities).
5630  Other / Off-topic / Re: Overview on browsers. Which one should we use? Support free web while browsing. on: November 16, 2019, 11:41:46 PM

Well, You can try Yahoo or bing search engines which will give you much better results than DuckDuckGo. Google search engine is the No. 1 search engine and no one can deny this fact. Even if you, me and few other stop using google search engine, there are users all over the world who will continue using them and their number will increase every passing day.
I had tried to use both Bing and Yahoo search engines in past and it was so shitty compared with Google. It was so difficult to find things that I was looking for. Now I tried it after long break and they haven't improved at all. And I doubt that these search engines is much better than Google in terms of privacy...
5631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: November 16, 2019, 11:29:43 PM
I'm disappointed that Slovenia won just 1:0, because I had over 3.5 on this match. It was terrible match to watch. But Poland win over Israel @2.65 bring me some good money.
Very rare thing happened tonight - San Marino scored a goal! I saw odds for San Marino over 0.5 was something like 10!
I probably will go with Serbia win over Ukraine, I see good value there. This match means nothing for Ukraine, while Serbia is still trying to fight for spot in Euro 2020. Though it's almost impossible, cuz they need that Portugal would drop points against Luxembourg.
5632  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.com Wallet on: November 16, 2019, 11:15:33 PM
Blockchain.com never had stable fixed transaction fees. Their fees same like on most wallets is dynamic and depends on network conditions. Optionally you can choose standard and high priority fees. Also, they allows you to set custom transaction fee.
Usually mainly exchanges have fixed fees for withdrawals, which maybe not even changed in 3 years.
5633  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 💥Boublr.com | Signature Campaign | Member+ 💥 on: November 16, 2019, 10:53:01 PM
You must be kidding, right? Because your website is the most obvious ponzi scheme. I doubt that you will find someone willing to advertise your service. It's just risk to get red trust. It's also very likely that they simply won't get paid for their posts - your website is very shady and you're not using escrow.
But at least you did one good thing - you bought Copper membership. It's very well spent money to support Bitcointalk forum Cheesy.
5634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: November 15, 2019, 11:16:12 PM
It sucks that Brazil GP isn't last race of season, because there was so many amazing historical races. But season will end in boring Abu Dhabi :/
There will be some interesting things in this race because not all questions is already answered, like we don't know who will end season 3rd.
Few days ago Red Bull announced that Alex Albon will stay in team for upcoming season. Well, it was logical decision and I can't imagine something different.
5635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: November 15, 2019, 12:16:48 AM
Speaking about Friday games, Finland probably will take guaranteed spot in Euro 2020. Bosnia - Italy match *might* be interesting, but it doesn't mean anything for both teams.
Probably I will watch Romania - Sweeden because it will be direct clash for 2nd place in group.
I liked the way Christiano Ronaldo played and completed yet another hat trick, i did not expect 6 goals but i was expecting a few goals.
Such games is good for his personal stats, but I think that hat trick or poker against us doesn't mesns much, especially if you see how pathetic we played in both games against Portugal.
5636  Other / Meta / Re: Has anyone ever purchased anything through BitcoinTalk on: November 15, 2019, 12:07:44 AM
I think that I haven't bought anything through Bitcointalk. I'm just not that kind of person who are looking to buy something on online forum.
I'm not much interested in collectibles, so I haven't bought any physical coins. Also, I haven't tried to mine coins, so I haven't bought mining hardware. Digital good like accounts, subscriptions and etc also isn't very interesting for me.
But I thing that if you're using common sense, it's safe enough to buy here. You just must use escrow, don't buy from random newbies and also avoid things which can be illegal or obtained in shady ways, like Netflix or Bet365 accounts.
5637  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: The Ledger Nano S firmware version 1.6 is ready for testing/Beta testing! on: November 14, 2019, 11:24:00 PM
I haven't tried it yet, I don't have access to a W10 computer right now, and I don't even want to try W7 because I know how it ended last time.
What did happened last time when you tried to update firmware? Because I also have ancient PC with Windows and IIRC there was no issues when I updated Ledger firmware.
Maybe you can try to update firmware using Ledger Live app on your phone if you have OTG cable.

Quote
I would disagree with that, check the link in LeGaulois post. For everyone who complained that they couldn't install more than 2 or 3 apps at once, the situation improved. Ledger is also fix bug wich causes random reset on some configuration, some users on the forum report that issue.
Maybe you're right, it's not correct to call it minor update. But for people like me, who keep just few coins on wallet, there isn't many reasons to rush.
5638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: November 14, 2019, 11:14:36 PM
We (Lithuania) lost to Portugal 6:0 and it was our biggest defeat in 80 years. It was one of the worst matches I've ever saw, we didn't made any dangerous attacks, it was difficult to complete few good passes. Despite result, our goalkeeper was best player, because result could be much bigger. Thanks God Portugal didn't pushed us hard in last 20 minutes.
I'm surprised about such big win of England - 7:0. Because Montenegro is half decent team with few good players.
And how France won against Moldova just 2:1???
5639  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: QoinPro.com - Free BTC, DOGE, LTC, FTC, VTA every 24 hours automatically on: November 13, 2019, 11:36:43 PM
Finally someone realized that it was a great idea and had the opportunity of becoming the best faucet in the world.
Now, unfortunately, it will be hard to catch up with Freebitco.in. Anyway, good luck and I will watch the development.
Dude, but Qoinpro isn't faucet because you can't claim free coins there. They only give some dust every 24 hours automatically. And they have multi level affiliate system. More referrals will sign up under your ref link - more commission you'll get.
Freebitco.in and Qoinpro is completely different websites and it can't be compared.
5640  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Overview of faucet scripts on: November 13, 2019, 11:17:37 PM
I want to give you some merits but I don't have any Sad Another example of how the merit system is broken... Your website has been very helpful to me. The list extensive but the description and links to each are short which is good, I hate to have to scroll through to many things. You also placed the links together. Easier to see that way. Nice new adds.
Thank you for nice words. It means me more than some merits Cheesy
Yeah, I tried to collect everything into one place and dedcribe everything shortly. Soon I will have to make big update, because Faucethub will close, so there will be big changes there.
And I'm always waiting for suggestions how I can improve my list.
