The problem is that OP isn't even sharing his user ID or profile link. We would have tried to check it up in seclog and see if the recovery process has been canceled.

Bookmarking is okay but also not 100% guaranteed safety.
I was online when an attack was made on Etherdelta in 2017... In fact, I was even in the process of making a transaction to Etherdelta and do you know what saved my Private key from getting Phished?

It obviously wasn't bookmarking(I had bookmarked Etherdelta and i still ended up loading a website whose DNS severs had been hijacked) but Netcraft gave me a warning(the ad-don was showing a risk rating of 9/10 at that time) and MetaMask displayed a warning. That's when I realized that Etherdelta was under attack and i stopped what i was doing immediately.

Having an Article on Forbes Guarantees nothing.. I have seen scams in past sponsor articles in Forbes and Cointelegraph. Just go to the scam accusations board and explain why you are having a fake profile of your CEO.
This is so easy to resolve.

Because the photo used for CEO, is stolen. Go and look at the accusation for yourself. If i were you I would have withdrawn my money by now.

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. Phishing is something that looks easy to evade but sometimes one could just be caught off guard, probably when one is trying to browser during times of fatigue or having less attention to the websites s/he is browsing.

First time seeing it but anything that deals with smart contracts in most cases has that feature of instant depositing and withdrawal. At least I have witnessed this with Ethereum network and EOS.

- You feel so greedy and you want to make a profit of 150% overnight
- You take too long to decide when to sell off or buy
- Your buy or sell actions are often determined by sudden price changes i.e. Buying coins at peak price and panic selling them off at bottom prices.

App stores are not to be trust with crypto apps especially wallet and exchanges. i myself have seen so many scam apps in play stores and so many people become victims by downloading them.

It's a legit email from blockchain wallet... I received one back in November last year.

Please note that there are 2 different addresses that blockchain wallet uses so far:

- noreply@blockchain.com - I usually get new updates through this one, about the stellar airdrop and the last update was about supporting Bitcoin SV on Jan 23^rd 2019
- no-reply@blockchain.info - sends emails about Authorizing Log-In attempts and email verification links

I haven't registered in it but I did some checking for you
