5641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sports do you think that can resume amid Covid-19 scare. on: August 21, 2020, 07:34:21 AM
After over 5 months we have set up a protocol on how to avoid this pandemic and because of this protocol any business and industries and sports events can go back as long as they can follow the protocol laid out by the experts of course it only applies to sports participants but not audiences or viewers.

Best would be to keep focusing on sports that are played outdoor like football or sports that are done with a few people, like boxing or billiard, where only 2 opponents are needed. The biggest risk to be spreading the corona virus with sports is the not by the participants, but the viewers. Crowding thousands of people closely together in stadiums seems like a huge risk in my opinion. The first step would be to resume all the major sports again and only be able to watch them on TV, as is already be done with football tournaments.
5642  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is marriage a kind of punishment? on: August 21, 2020, 06:28:01 AM
marriage is not a punishment but a process of survival..  life must go on, you work all your life, you will definitely leave behind your wealth and it would be very strange if you only gave up the wealth that you are painstakingly looking for to other people who are not your descendants.  Marriage is not as cruel as many people think, many say that getting married will only create new difficulties such as children and other costs, it is true that when you get married it will create new difficulties, but when you get married you will find a new focus and new purpose, which is to make your wife and children happy.  therefore, if you have found suitable opposite sex then immediately get married..

Marriage seems a life model of the past. The world is changing in the last decades. With 50% of the marriages today falling its really the question why go into that risk of just divorcing in 10-15 years? The world moves so much faster today than in the past. None of my closest friends are married yet, most of them in a relationship for more than 5 years and still not interested in marriage. Same for having a family. Now with 30 years even the woman don't want any kids yet. Its more about having a good job and life. Maybe this will change in 5 tears again. Who knows.
5643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 20, 2020, 02:30:04 PM
The rules today are much strichter for kids playing in Casino and they are also more enforced than in the past. A lot of the poker pros we like to watch now on TV these days started as minors playing in illegal poker games. First in some underground games and later in casinos. In the 80s and 90s it was pretty common for the underage poker players to have fake IDs so they could be playing in casino games. It is really hard to judge the maturity of people with a fixed age number, is some with 18 really so much more serious than some with 17 1/2. I agree that all kids should be protected, but if someone has a lot of experience in a game and is aware of the risk he is taking we should have some leniency. We allow kids to drive a car with 16 when a parent is present. Maybe something similar could be done for gambling too? Visiting casinos with a parent? To get a better understanding of the risks involved.
5644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: question concerning a type of raffle on: August 20, 2020, 01:57:49 PM

I do not need escrow (I provide escrow on these forums) I also do not need someone to manage it (I will) and there is no fee for myself - the goal is to raise funds for a charity not myself.

I was thinking to let people pick their own numbers - I do see your point in that some may not participate if they do not get their number - so that would be an issue as well if the numbers were randomly assigned as well.

I am sorry, I thought you were looking for someone to run this for you.

To give a part of the winnings to charity sounds like a good idea. I think there should be plenty of people here on this forum to be interested in such a gamble.

Maybe just start to run it on a monthly basis and see how it goes. Advertisement shouldn't be a problem here.
5645  Other / Politics & Society / Re: social distancing ? covid on: August 20, 2020, 11:55:14 AM
It seems that most people who contact the virus, get infected in their homes. Staying in a closed environment means that if one person gets infected, then evrty one in the household is likely to catch it. The ones that don't seem to be the ones who go out, got a mild infection, and built up a natural immunity.

It really is time that we stopped believing all the nonsense that is being pushed out by the Pharma companies, and we just adopted sensible healthy lifestyles. That way we can save the billions that are going down the Pharma toilet, and we can get back to work. More people are dying from the effects of the lock downs, than are dying from all of the viruses combined.

I don't think there is a way to stop spreading the virus at home, practicing social distancing from your loved ones seems to harash. Unfortunately this means that if one person is affected from corona the hole household would need to placed under qarantine. But atleast you are with your family..

The biggest risk in my opinion is with mass gatherings indoors like in churches or concerts. It happened many times in the past months that one person infected hundreds others just by being in the same room for a long period of time. Stopping these super spreaders would be very important.
5646  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to earn money with Instagram? on: August 20, 2020, 11:42:21 AM
As far as I am aware there basically two ways of earning money on Instagram. First, would be to go for as many followers as possible. You want as many people as possible to see your pictures and like or comment them. Here it doesn't really matter from which area or which age your followers you have as long as they are active. Instagram models I would count into this group.. The second way to earn money would be to be an influencer. For influencers the total number of followers is lot so important. It is more important to have a specific group of followers who are willing to buy products through you. You would be basically make advertisements directly for companies and then your followers would buy the products either using a specific code from you or a referral system. The company would then pay you based on the sales you generate. I know a friend who has less than 5k followers but because he is so specific in his posts that he can earn a decent income from being a influencer.
5647  Other / Off-topic / Re: Forex trading? on: August 20, 2020, 11:09:48 AM
Has anybody else got into this, and did they find it useful to download the practice program? And what do they think of the real Forex trading??
I am considering at a future date, getting into that, but don't have a clue what it's all about. Thanks for any help!

Be careful when going into forex, trading derivatives without the proper understanding first is very risky. You can easily lose a multiple of your initial investment. The market moves very fast and can wipe you out fairly quickly. I would recommend reading a book first before you you get into that.

The thing about foreign currency trading is that most prices are fixed for the near future due to equilibriums. You can always replicate a forward contract with actually investing the cash today in the other country in a money market fund.

How much money do you plan on trading? Do you have a secure monthly income to cover any big losses?
5648  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Germany the NEW World’s Crypto Superpower on: August 20, 2020, 11:01:35 AM
This is really good. In the case of the country creating a stable coin, this is the first time I’m getting to know about that. Every other country that I know that have tried to create their own cryptocurrency, it all never worked out and they ended up dropping the project due to one reason or the other.

The only country that seemed to be serious about is China, and it was making waves around last year because of that, but ever since this year no one is talking about it any longer and it seemed to be forgotten, maybe because of the pandemic. And apart from that, it seems like they are no longer serious about it. I’m looking forward to them all to see what they have, and now you said that Germany is on the list, that’s good Smiley.

I don't think China can be taken serious in terms of crypto currencies. Every coin coming from them will be fully controlled by the communist party and will be first of all a political tool. In my opinion this is the complete opposite what crypto currencies stand for and will never be successful among independent investors.

As for Germany, the problem is that the Internet infrastructure and 5g mobile network coverage is not good. High speed broadband is lagging behind many other countries. Until Germany keeps investing heavily into its infrastructure I don't see them becoming a superpower.
5649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever wiped off a casino through Blackjack? on: August 20, 2020, 10:49:10 AM
Never played with the intention any of the game like to always to win or to wipe off any of the casinos with blackjack or any other game. I know my luck and knows that at times you can win it but not always. Also, either you need to be professional or an expert to think in that terms or you have a very good luck which is with you to ride through this way to make money.
I think that even though you have become a professional in card gambling, it is still very difficult to predict correctly because this game depends on the luck that can bring victory, maybe you can play other games that can give fairer wins than in blackjack gambling.

I am not sure if there are really Backjack "professionals". If someone is saying he only plays Backjack and earns a living through that I would highly doubt that. Some players who are really good at Blackjack are mainly poker pros who just do some Blackjack on the side. The rules are very easy to learn in Blackjack and everyone could just follow a strategy. So if you were a pro and play everyday and win a lot of money I would assume people would notice you and start copying your strategy.
This of course doesn't include the card counting strategies but to do this on a large scale continuously doesn't seem feasible to me anymore because casinos are watching for those players and will ban them from the house.
5650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Strategies to apply on a betting exchange on: August 20, 2020, 10:43:02 AM
If you really want to win at betting on sports or etc. You should know how to observe and be measure things. First look at the different statistics of each teams and find their strengths and weaknesses for you to be able to know if the team you are choosing has the potential to win against their opponent.

If you look at the Tier 1 and 2 teams the odds should be pretty fair and will give you a good indication on who will likely win. There are so many people looking at the big teams like PSG for example that I it will be very hard to find thing that everyone else missed. Since the football matches are back during the pandemic I started to bet only on fairly sure games where the risk of losing is fairly low. Sure the winning are low too but it's better than to lose money at the moment.

I watched this weekend Hot Fuzz with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost such a funny an awesome movie. It's probably already 10 years old but these two play so great together. Definitely a movie for anybody to check out who likes British comedies. All most as good as the Guy Richie movies.
5652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 20, 2020, 07:18:56 AM
Kids should not be included in this kind of activity, gambling should not be taught to them.

There are a lot of things that a kid should focused on, studying and playing games, but not these gambling games that can ruin their future.

KYC is really important to secure the platform and also the customers who are accessing it. It is not that their privacy will be taken but it is for the safety of the regulation in a certain gambling casino. Age limits are really required so that we know if the customer is in the legal age to access casinos.

Risks in gambling are so high that it can cause damage in to a young person's mental health if he loses.

The only problem I see with when telling kids to don't do something, they will just do it for the sake of acting against their parents. Especially if they see grown ups doing it. If something is forbidden it just makes it more desireable. It would be better to include gambling into any education. Better to try and make them understand why it's a bad thing in the young age and can lead to addiction.

I agree with you, this type of measure is in contradiction with the crypto philosophy : libertarian, decentralized and anonymous.
If people think KYC is a better thing, there is no point in gambling with cryptos anymore. Fiat gambling is perfect for that.

But how would you than make sure that no underage kids play on the casino then? Kids have access to FIAT or crypto currencies.
5653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: August 20, 2020, 06:35:51 AM
for me it is fair enough to have 100$ in bitcoin or even in other coins but the  question is  would it be favorable for the site?
i guess things are different that what we wanted to have.
i think 20$ is enough to at least make  a good chance to win(though i doubt we can be lol)

Making a welcome offer always part of a first deposit would ensure that the casino is not losing money, as they give away free welcome offers. A 100% or 200% bonus should be good to attract players.

A friend of mine recently managed to win with $ 20 400 on the Rubet site. He was incredibly lucky, in my opinion. But that doesn't mean anything. The rules of individual games and mathematics work here. You can make a big deposit and lose, as well as catch your luck on a small one. The more likely you are to be lucky, plus you will be able to wager some or all of the deposit bonus, which can be a nice compensation in case of losses.

That's a nice profit, but he is only one of the few lucky ones. In the end most people tend to be not so lucky with their first bonus. I think it's great to get to know the casino. But making a huge profit happens rarely.
5654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: question concerning a type of raffle on: August 19, 2020, 01:39:38 PM
Would this be considered gambling? Is there even a chance that this could or would work here on the forums?

Yes this is definitely gambling because you put in 10$ and have a 1/100 chance of winning, like any lottery. I think this is a good idea for this forum. There are many trusted users here who would easily function as escrow and another for lottery management. Some part of the winning would need to be used as fees for the two.

The only problem I would assume would be choosing which numbers to pick. Easiest would be if you assign the 100 participants a random number but I bet people would prefer to choose their own numbers. But then most people would try to pick their lucky numbers like 3,6, 13, or 19. It could be hard to fill all 100 numbers.
5655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever wiped off a casino through Blackjack? on: August 19, 2020, 01:21:43 PM
I had been playing Blackjack with fun money for a few weeks now and learning more about how it is being played, where should I Hit, where should I stand and where to double down my bet/split the cards, etc. The only major thing is that, the number should not exceed more than 20 or in some cases, 21 whereas if the dealer gets the almost same number or higher but under 21, then dealer takes it. I've won so many times that I believe I've mastered this game and should start stealing some money from casinos through this game. Do you think I should try my hands on this game with real money? Have you ever made a lot of money and made a casino helpless with this game?

Blackjack is a game you only play vs the dealer, so practicing with play money definitely makes sense. It's different to poker where you would play against other humans. Running a fixed strategy makes sense in Blackjack because the dealer is doing the same thing. You can calculate your odds before you play. Most strategies have an chance of winning in the long run of slightly below 50%. But you can get above 50% also if you start counting cards. I am not sure if online casinos can check for card counting, in physical casinos you will definitely get banned if you follow this strategy.
5656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin casinos to surge in German market? on: August 19, 2020, 11:47:10 AM
It would be a nice change to see some casinos with licenses actually open up to having a new online license from a country like Germany instead of all the usual offshore suspects,,, but in the end, governments must realize they cannot restrict crypto casinos and this is what is really leading to the re-regulations in Germany. If you cannot beat them, join them, right?

That would be the best solution, instead of closing the market completely and watch casinos relocate to different countries, better make a fair tax system and profit of it. Creating more security for the investors and gamblers. I'm no export on the German market but I would assume in the current form its just much cheaper for casinos to open in small countries which offer a lot of tax incentives for new Internet businesses.
5657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VR online casino games take gambling to the new level 🚀 on: August 19, 2020, 08:06:20 AM
Never think that we have reach this far. More than 200 companies are working day and night in order to develop the VR world stronger and more sophisticated. We have seen many improvements in the gaming industry which makes me so fascinated. If gambling is fully adopted with VR, I believe that it will make a huge revolution for the online world. I guess we will soon make "ready player one" movie comes true. Lower cost hardware is being designed and invented. Intel and AMD are leaders in this field and they are making cheaper and cheaper CPU as well as Graphic Cards.

I guess in the next decade, we will witness a huge change in the VR industry. Hope that I can see you guys on the internet world with a weird and ridiculous avatar lmao

It will be definitely interesting to see how it's going to develop in the future. For me personally the aspect just to the see the roulette wheel as person in VR is not so appealing, because when gambling online I can do things simultaneously and don't need to focusing a 100% on the game. But with a VR headset it seems difficult to do things on the side. What I would find more interesting if there would be interaction with other gamblers through VR. If you could see and talk to all other gambler playing the same game would be much more interesting.  If we could get a similar feeling as when playing in a crowded physical casino, while playing through VR online would be awesome. Then I would maybe get into VR myself.
5658  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy restart big Boom and prosperity Coming on: August 19, 2020, 07:58:28 AM
I don't think so, the prosperous economy should come from the actual production and circulation of goods, not from bitcoin speculation. I think when there is a vaccine to prevent COVID 19, everything will be stable again. The world is running out, they haven't worked in a while and they're just staying at home to use the money they have earned. It took 2-3 years for their life to become normal.
I think governments are going to keep printing money and trying to distribute it into society. Everyone will borrow money and continue to fail to pay it, the world will have more poor people only.

Unemployment could rise again in the near future, especially if there is a second and maybe even a third corona wave coming. Sure the vaccine will help but only if its available for everyone. I agree that the effects of corona will still be felt in the hex 2-3 years. People stopped consuming heavily in 2020 and held off on a lot of investments. All these should be coming back 2021 and the economies should be growing again.
But I am not sure if it will be really a boom or just a slow recovery. I think people got really scared how fast the hole world can change and by just printing money and giving it to the people it might not all be used for investments.
5659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Gameplays and Strategies on: August 19, 2020, 07:47:58 AM
Bluffing will be a secret weapon for every poker player because that can increase their chance to trick the other player so that they can win the games. But not all of the player can get trick by them because if we are in one table with the pro poker player, their skill will be higher than us, and seems, they will take it easy if we bluff them. So you need to be careful when you want to bluff the other player and make sure that your card is good.

As a beginner I would recommend to not bluff at all when you play online. One major mistake new players tend to do is just to bluff too much. You need to put in a lot of your bankroll to make a bluff work - if you just keep min raising it's not convincing. And do you really want to put all your money in the middle with a bad hand? As a beginner you want to build a bankroll so you can play on higher stakes tables eventually. Your winning tend to be small in the beginning. If you play on 1 and 2 cent table don't expect to make 10$ every day. It's just not reallistic.

Just try to play basic, solid poker. Raise with good cards and fold bad ones. Keep raising if you hit the flop and folding if you don't.

Once you have the basics down of poker rules and starting hands you need to think more about the game and positioning on the table. Try to put yourself in the shoes of your opponent (What cards is he holding? Is he going to raise with these cards or just call? Would he call my raise with his cards?) You always need to recheck your approach to the game.
5660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Clicking Google Ads can lead you to huge looses - Uniswap customers on: August 19, 2020, 07:39:22 AM
It looks like the scammers are getting smarter at the action. Too bad Google pays less attention to ad filters so scams like this still exist. If we already click on the ad, is there a surefire way to find out and distinguish between a scam and genuine website?

Unfortunately google only cares about money these days. It's been a very long time since google was a decent search enginge. Now it's all about making money because they know they have the costumers on their side. Basically all major web browser direct you towards google as soon as you write something in the adress bar. Google knows it's place and is just milking the cash cow now.
Checking for genuine website can be very difficult, because even if you google for the website and check on review sites. The scammers are aware and may have already created tons of fake reviews to report their own scam site. I would recommend putting in the adress yourself and just save it with a bookmark for later. A little bit more work but atleast you can be sure you get to where you want to go.
