Experience can really count a lot when it comes to trading and in trading cryptocurrency we always learn from our mistakes and we build the foundation on those mistakes so a time will come when we are already ripe and furnished or should I say equipped to the challenges of everyday life. I have been reading and hearing of the same reasons (and even more) why Bitcoin will be so valuable (as if it is not yet that valuable today) like hitting the $100K level soon or even some years from now it can be at least a million dollar in price. Yeah, although am not yet tired of hearing the same type of prediction we also have to consider the realities present in the market. Cryptocurrency is partly a magic wand but that wand has also its own limitation -- calling Harry Potter to send his own wand here-- and so right now Bitcoin has to face the court of reality though I am sure it can be able to survive and flourish but outrageous predictions like this may not be helping people to get to know more on Bitcoin but will only induce more speculations (though am not actually complaining!).

It will not really be that easy to correctly predict where Bitcoin can be going in its perpetual up and down movement but in my opinion there is now a brewing energy within Bitcoin for another surge and that can happen within days from now. Yes, I do agree this might not go down below $10,000 but the surge may not be able to gain back the $20K it already broached before. Things are getting better right now with Bitcoin and we are already optimistic for the coming of the Lightning Network soon.

Binance is now one of the fastest growing cryptocurrency exchange and some are labeling this as the Bittrex killer though I don't the basis for such a claim. I am also using Binance from time to time and I am so satisfied with its service especially for a newbie like me. Of course, there is no perfect anything and Binance is not perfect so am not heavily relying on just one exchange for my trade. When it comes to money, we always have to our fears as part of thinking in advance. I could only hope that Binance will keep on improving and that any bad scenario with Binance will never really happen.

I am actually tired of hearing contradictory news coming from Russia though am truly hoping that soon they will recognize Bitcoin, allow its trading under a regulated environment and even provide the regulatory sandbox for those who are issuing ICO. I understand that there are now many intelligent and active Russians in cryptocurrency and they are getting benefits out of this so they really need the support coming from the government.

The next news I wanna hear or read is when Russia would already be welcoming applicants for cryptocurrency exchanges and issuance of ICOS and for now...I am just treating this news as a small step towards the big dream and that is the opening of the Russian market for cryptocurrency. The government should listen to those who are truly experts on the matter and not just those who are afraid of what they can lose (imaginary or real).

Exactly. Bitcoin is open to anyone regardless of political leanings or inclination heck even criminals can own one if they want to -- just like any fiat money there would be no restriction or qualification before anyone can buy a Bitcoin. However, it does not mean it would be given for free because Bitcoin is not anymore in the promotional airdrop phase and it means we have to work for it with skills, sweat and some love and passion thrown to sweeten the whole experience. In my view, it is about time that we stop labeling ourselves based on what group or inclinations we might be into...let's just call ourselves humans.

I am not really an expert on Lightning Network and I don't have any data when it can be deployed and implemented by all so that we can get away finally from the high fees imposed by miners and wallet service providers but this is one project that the whole Bitcoin community has been expected to come soon. Hopefully LN can reinvigorate Bitcoin and make it robust once again as we know that there are already those who are giving up on Bitcoin as a currency and just treat it as a store of value -- something that Bitcoin should both fulfill if it should be adopted by the mainstream population. I am personally wishing that they can speed up the whole thing.

May I remind everybody that Warren Buffet is generally afraid of anything high-tech and he even rejected Facebook also...a wrong move which he honestly admitted. While we should always respect the two, we don't have to listen to all they are saying because they can also be wrong.

Indeed, the most important factor will always be the rate of electricity in Bitcoin mining and India is not the best place for this though it can accommodate small-scale Bitcoin mining owned by individuals. Right now, there is a good opportunity for other countries to take the lead in the mining sector for Bitcoin as China is now subtly sending the message to mining operators to kick themselves out of the country and that is why operators are now looking for right places that can accommodate their business with no so much hassle as poised by China to them. The time has come for cryptocurrency to completely left China behind and not return in there anymore anytime.

This is quite true. And we have been witnessing this weakness in Bitcoin and in Ethereum for the past many months. Though many might consider this kind of situation as a happy problem or just birth pain, this can actually make or break mainstream adoption for cryptocurrency. It is as if we are advertising for a product and when there would be deluge of orders the product can not be deliver due to lack of stock. In the end, many can be turned off which is what we should be avoiding. Hopefully, with OPEN this can be avoided.

You just stated a big truth in cryptocurrency. Whatever happens to Bitcoin will also happen with other coins and tokens. This industry has been built around Bitcoin and that is something we should never forget. You don't kill what had paved the way...in fact we should care for Bitcoin as it is the very symbol of cryptocurrency. I do not think your mistake is uncommon. In the future you do not have to reset your authenticator. You disable it and re-enable it. When you re-enable it they provide a different code. This action in itself should not freeze your account.

This is one reason why I don't fall in love with Google Authenticator though I understand that it is really providing a good measure of security which we badly need these days when there are so many scammers and hackers just lurking somewhere ready to victimize us out of our hard-earned money. The history of empire in different parts of the world has had been fascinating but on the other side of the coin the empire had been an agent of destruction in terms of identity, culture and economy. This is why it had been rejected later on when nations opted to regain back their own sovereignty and power to craft their own destiny and choices of governance. It is indeed interesting how a country can be reacting to cryptocurrency represented by Bitcoin because this innovation can certainly affect sovereignty and control. This kind of dynamism affecting the state and Bitcoin will go on for a long time since Bitcoin is really designed as a great disruptor of what can be considered as the approved 'normal' or traditional.

In my opinion, this is just another baseless speculation or another category of FUD. China has already made it clear that they don't want anything to do with cryptocurrency anymore except maybe their own state-sponsored and issued cryptocurrency which may not materialize at all. Lately, they are already sending a strong message to Bitcoin miners locating within the country to think now of moving out of the country as the environment is not anymore conducive to such an activity. China is a big market for cryptocurrency and in fact there are still so many Chinese which is into this discreetly but since the government has a different views on it then it would be better that we stay away from China.
