Is there any website to collect all these icons? Other day I have seen another one with this 🐐
Just out of the curiosity Smiley
Here you go: https://codepen.io/yukiri/pen/vNeMNw.html
Some of them could not be displayed on mobile, but that *goaty icon is on the list.

In other forums, mods can merge topics by adding the other thread's OP as a reply to the other. By merging four threads, things can get complicated.
And it's another workload for Moderators even if it can be reported.
5662  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Why can not I bring BTCP to the exchange??? on: April 29, 2018, 02:47:05 AM
What do you mean by BTCP, Bitcoin Private Altcoin/Fork or Typo of BTC? Because,...
The official BTCP (BitcoinPrivate) site got an answer to your question: BTCP Electrum wallet.
5663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can my Power Supply work with 4 GPU's? on: April 28, 2018, 08:56:03 AM
Nope, with a 1070 in the list, it can't even underclocked.
It only got around 480W on its 12v Rail (reference image) Even two RX580 might get unstable using the default overlooking settings.
And It didn't have enough 6/8-pin power connector for all the 4 gpu and their risers. Unless you can risk using sata connectors to the risers.

For reference: (blurry)
5664  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How can we reuse 'Not chosen Blocks' in forking on: April 28, 2018, 05:25:05 AM
Yes, with very little difference in the number of transactions.
Those transactions that got included or not included in the orphaned block were included to the valid and/or next valid block, so the difference in the number of tx is not an issue.

Check this site for reference: Orphaned Blocks (the ones marked with red "x" are the orphaned blocks)

Is there anything else in "not chosen block"?
Nothing, unless it was created by an attacker, but
As "they" mentioned, there's no record of an attack in the history since the start.
5665  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How can we reuse 'Not chosen Blocks' in forking on: April 28, 2018, 04:37:54 AM
The "not chosen block" will just get orphaned (orphaned blocks) simply because bitcoin nodes didn't verified it to be "true".
It got there by "accident" due to some nodes have "seen" that block earlier than the valid one.

There aren't any deleted transactions because the other verified block contains the almost the same transactions it contained.
In other words, the "not chosen block" is a duplicate of the valid block so there will be no missing transactions once it become orphaned.
5666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig for 3000$???? on: April 28, 2018, 03:35:53 AM
Building it yourself without the basic knowledge of mining is a suicide.

If you're looking for a complete-ready-to-mine sub $3000 rig, there's a place in this forum where you can find one:
Marketplace >Goods > Computer Hardware
Most pre-built rigs are from (miners) members so you can guarantee that it was a working build.
Just make a good guess by reviewing the seller's trust rating and given information.

Good luck.

Can I verify myself?

If not, could you please verify it for me? Thank you. This thread worth to be pinned down or link added to Theymos thread, which is already pinned down.
Quoted.
Yes you can verify it yourself, the only unofficial requirement here is someone must quote the post for reference and verification whether the poster edited his post or not.
The verification was added lately because of the newbies who are staking their address that belongs to an "unsignable" 3rd party service which wont be any of help in case of an account-recovery incident.
5668  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: If initiate sending bitcoin, it can't be reversible? on: April 27, 2018, 11:49:19 AM
I wonder if there was a chain longer than 2 blocks that was eventually orphaned in BTC?
BitcoinTrash's Chain (BCH) will eventually get orphaned once their shilling and pretending has ended, just joking.

If you search via google, you will find some history regarding the split from block #173928 which was 4 blocks long.
The Value Overflow Bug too is an incident worth researching.

-snip-
Thanks for the clarification, I will take note of that.
But there's a gut feeling that somewhere in the past, things like an attack is not a rare occasion.
Off-topic/Piggy-back Question: Could slow miner ISP connection result in orphan blocks?
5669  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: If initiate sending bitcoin, it can't be reversible? on: April 27, 2018, 10:20:42 AM
In addition,
I heard about orphaned block, how often frequently it happens?
Orphan blocks are mostly a result of a direct attack to the Blockchain or a Faulty miners configurations/hardware.
Those are common during the early years when a Core2Duo/P4 PC can participate in Bitcoin mining. With that cheap hardware, any regular Joe can mine making invalid blocks not-too-uncommon.
Today, most of Bitcoin's miners consist of Huge mining pools or ASIC Farms, doing an attack is not profitable while overseeing a misconfiguration isn't common for a well-planned industrial scale mining.

Quote from: wsxdrfv
And when it happens, that transaction will not be confirmed and bitcoin will return back to sender?
Yes, but if your wallet has the "rebroadcast" function or if you're re-broadcasting it before it gets flushed out of the mempool, it will still  continue to wait for confirmations.
And as others have mentioned me: the coins weren't sent out of your wallet in the first place.
In other words, the unspent output(s) are simply requested (transaction) to be moved (from the block they're included) as input(s) to a new block and if that request (transaction) didn't get included in a block, they aren't moved at all (still unspent).
5670  Other / Meta / Re: Another "Thanks Merit For This Rank Up" Thread on: April 27, 2018, 02:56:58 AM
Oh God, here I am again essentially begging for someone to see what I see in my posts :p
Yes you are!
Threads like merit giveaways have lazy-ass author who didn't even bother to cram the boards for merit-able posts
and merit beggars who are posting replies with links to their shitposts.
:D

And now,
Here are two examples of my shitposts ('coz it's troublesome to choose).
And I'm pretty sure that there are more "meritable" replies on my recent posts (for review/reference)  ;)

Cheers and Congrats!
5671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Want to recover my dogecoins on: April 26, 2018, 07:43:03 AM
Knowing the address is useless,
there's no difference between a 3rd-party Dogecoin wallet and a Dogecoin node wallet, unless you got control over its private key.

Judging from your activities, that might be an online wallet that supports Dogecoin faucet claims/webmining (Faucet Wallets) like Xapo or Coinpot.

Try the two services I mentioned and/or use google search: Dogecoin Wallets.

And you should move this thread to Altcoin Discussion where it belongs.

5673  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to use Bitcoin Blockchain for Litecoin ? on: April 25, 2018, 11:56:37 PM
But they not explaign more my goal !

I am not willing to create new altcoin, just to understand the process to update Litecoin source code to use the Bitcoin Blockchain.

What files must be modified etc.
Modify the source code of Litecoin code involving a change in previous blocks without a hard fork?
I(we) can't seem comprehend the goal here.

The blockchain is simply the "record" of transaction that the nodes have/have been verifying for verification.
So using Bitcoin's "record of transactions" (public ledger) to Litecoin is simply inappropriate.
See, the previous blocks aren't from Litecoin, and Litecoin's node wouldn't verify Bitcoin's previous blocks.
The only way to use Bitcoin's Blockchain to a different coin is by forking it, you can make a fork of Bitcoin which uses the same specs and functions as Litecoin like they said, no other workaround here.

Litecoin's source code in the other hand can't be modified by one person (ex.  yourself) without the approval (votes) of the community and developers.
5674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How Long Will The 3G Memory Graphics Cards Last? on: April 25, 2018, 09:03:42 AM
However, turning on Windows7's "Aero" theme can use some of your graphic card's resources, make sure that it was turned to basic.
Much better if the resoution is lowered to 800p or lower, even if it's not connected to a monitor, it still processing the display.

More options are applicable to Windows10 except the aero theme,  like "live tiles" and even cortana's UI are using GPU process.

@Author, please respond.
5676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin-qt: wallet.dat corrupt, salvage failed on: April 24, 2018, 09:33:46 AM
-snip-
Hmm, nope. Where do you think those recoverable chunks of data came from when a "data recory software" attempts to recover a deleted file or formatted disk?

What I'm trying to say is: those copies he have are corrupted due to copying a corrupted file, he can't attempt to fix the copies but the original file has a chance.
If it is a simple file system error, the disk check procedure might fix it.
The other options are just added, those wont hurt the process at all if there'a no problem in the hardware.
5677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin-qt: wallet.dat corrupt, salvage failed on: April 24, 2018, 06:59:14 AM
If your wallet.dat file is still on its original location and disk (2012-2013 HDD)...
Try to "check disk" and "attempt to recover bad sectors" the original drive where it came from for file system errors using Windows or any available disk checking sofware.
Any other copied version of a corrupted file cant be fixed by doing that method, because the broken pieces might have been lost in the disk's master boot record.

If it came from a Deleted File or Formatted Disk, the chance for it to be permanently corrupted is high.
All you can do is to find a software that can read corrupted wallet.dat files into human recognizable hashes, if you're lucky, you might find the private keys of the addresses with balance.
5678  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Output in coinbase transaction on: April 24, 2018, 03:18:45 AM
For example this Coinbase transaction has an output of 0
This one looks like the miner's mistake, he might have entered an invalid bitcoin address in his mining console or configuration.
5679  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: my brief summary on Proof of Work on: April 23, 2018, 06:53:48 AM
Or does the "Longest chain" refer to mined blocks that become orphaned?
Bcash is another coin, no matter how long that chain is. It has nothing to do with bitcoin.
Yup, the "orphaned blocks" creates a "mini-blockchain" which are "short" because almost all of the nodes are invalidating it and after the remaining ones that validates the transactions in those blocks (considered as running a new coin's blockchain: a hard fork) stopped, that new/incidental/accidental "hard fork's" blockchain has ended which makes it "shorter" than the valid chain.

BitcoinCash and other "Planned Hard Forks" however, got a considerably high amount of nodes to continue their own blockchain.
And as bitmover said, it is now a different coin in a different blockchain.

5680  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Problem sending money from public key wallet on Electrum. Help! on: April 23, 2018, 05:24:02 AM
if you want to recover a 2FA wallet you must have the seed because your wallet does not contain the other key. it only has 1 which it uses to sign then the other key on Trustedcoin server is used to sign and complete the transaction.
The author have access to his 2FA wallet, he/she wants to spend the balance from his android electrum wallet which is a "read only" standard wallet due to what he stated in the OP.

And as I said,
What he needs is the SEED or it's Master Private Key (Master Extended Private Key) to make a spendable standard (address "1") wallet.
