Knowing the address is useless,
there's no difference between a 3rd-party Dogecoin wallet and a Dogecoin node wallet, unless you got control over its private key.

Judging from your activities, that might be an online wallet that supports Dogecoin faucet claims/webmining (Faucet Wallets) like Xapo or Coinpot.

Try the two services I mentioned and/or use google search: Dogecoin Wallets.

And you should move this thread to Altcoin Discussion where it belongs.

So what you're saying is that you have a Dogecoin address... but have no idea what the private key for that address is? And you're also unsure as to what wallet you were using?

You'll need to try and narrow down your options... like did you run desktop wallet software on your computer (like Dogecoin Core)? Or were you using a web-wallet (like dogechain.info)?

Maybe try visiting: http://dogecoin.com/ Download the wallet(s) and see if any look familiar... or maybe try visiting https://my.dogechain.info/ and see if that looks familiar. In any case, without wallet files and/or appropriate userIDs/passwords, you chances of being able to recover your coins is very small.

Another example is that dogecoin attracts technically illiterate people. This is the basis of knowledge about crypto-currencies
Wait what?! From what "basis" did it came from?

Dogecoin and any stable coin attracts traders,
anything that's "geeky" attracts technically illiterate persons because of geek's natural curiosity of the technonumbers and flashing lights.

OP Author did not ask for preaches and haven't responded to the first two replies, this thread must be locked.

I lost 600,000 Doge to an android wallet provider that one day stopped working.  It was Ziftr Wallet.  The wallet suddenly stopped updating and no one at the company returned any emails or support requests.

You know your doge coin address? It's a useless if you did not remember the private key, you cannot access if you didn't have it.

Sadly it doesn't appear that Ziftr used any sort of key storage or wallet file that was compatible with other wallets.

According to their helpdesk (http://help.ziftrwallet.com/support/home) you had to make backups of the wallet file... and you needed to do so pretty much after any transaction to ensure you had the private keys needed (http://help.ziftrwallet.com/support/solutions/articles/5000626015-how-to-back-up-ziftrwallet-mobile-for-android) as it would appear that this wallet was not an HD wallet with a seed etc Undecided
Quote
In the current version of ziftrWALLET Mobile, this action will not apply to any future transactions. In other words, you may want to make a habit of backing up your ziftrWALLET every few days if you’re using it frequently. Also, sending/receiving coins after the backup could cause the backup to lose some coins due to the normal security functions of the blockchain and the distribution of change to newly generated addresses for storage.

If you still have the wallet app installed and/or the app data... it might be possible to extract the private keys from the wallet file if you know what the wallet password was.
