Isn't this a bannable offense, because unlike Laskoo, xolxol doesn't show any original source at all.
Somehow I think it should be a bannable offense, and judging by the account of xolxol negative trust wouldn't be of use as he has already.

I have a question if I hand-drawn a picture from one original image online should I be liable to credit the source of it as well even though I've already added some tweaks over the original image?

5664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Point Network on: November 14, 2019, 02:53:06 PM
I've seen a similar project https://wr.io/, it is aiming as well for web 3.0, I can't really tell that much if you're in the same direction we will let see more. But seeing their development I don't know where does their project really headed to as they are silent this year. So, if you can view their project what are your advantage/s over them?

I'll keep on view with the development of this project, hope to see more features and getting excited to see the prototype demo so soon.
5665  Other / Meta / Re: Has anyone ever purchased anything through BitcoinTalk on: November 14, 2019, 11:53:19 AM
I already did buy a watch and it was from a well-trusted forum user from Croatia if I remember and so far even without escrow the transaction was successful and the seller always keep in contact if I ask him about the courier tracking. You can see my profile trust for more information of who I am talking to here.

But always keep in mind that even if the account he used is a green trusted it doesn't mean that he is so if you have doubts about the user it is really for best to use a trusted escrow.
5666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid falling into a FOMO trap on: November 14, 2019, 07:52:39 AM
Yeah we experience FOMOs or seen one in the past but how can you really tell if there will be FOMO happening because even projects that are supported fully by this experts been lie low and even it is unique in a sense. To avoid FOMO just don't gamble your money onto something you can't lose, FOMO will be there to stay it is your choice to avoid it.
5667  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}:Please stay away from this Youtube Channel on: November 14, 2019, 03:57:39 AM
Thanks for the awareness @Baofeng and that Frost is really awesome to find that malware. Just a fair advice if the apps aren't that from a secure site or legit sources example on YouTube then better scan it first to VirusTotal.

I am just hope ng those viewers haven't download and executed that file because if they did then they better change all of their passwords especially those who are deemed important to them. I don't know if there are really tools for generating private keys or if it's really true but I guess that's not the case.
5668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prediction 2020 - 2021 on: November 13, 2019, 03:42:23 PM
In a market situation like this I think many people avoid it and divide investments other than Bitcoin, many Altcoin or Shitcoin prices have fallen dramatically, if you see that until now the price of bitcoin is not growing too well, whereas we are already at the end of 2019 where people predict there will be an increase in the price of bitcoin but it doesn't happen
I guess it grows well this 2019, have you not see the price we have last 2018? Fluctuations are prevalent on bitcoin but even that it is still the best asset that people hold rather than shitcoins that at a 95% decrease since the bull run of 2017. Diversifying your assets is good but you should select the best or top crypto out there rather than just a pump and dump shitcoins.
5669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Registration Form on: November 13, 2019, 12:45:53 PM
You should have messaged the campaign manager of that bounty who organized that registration form. AFAIK most bounty campaigns have their own bounty groups to discuss their bounty issues if there are concerns in regards to that. So far, I guess your question has been answered on the replies above but if it hasn't then the former thing I said is you should do.

I think this belong to Beginners & Help board. You can move this one to the right board it should have be.

Then user iLLmAtiCiAn sends 1 merit to
Cjblog (only account not recently woken up)

I've been curious and interested to give a try if I can find some alts of this user and look below what I found. The cosmicart account was a spammer on the Faireum project and that Cjblog I guess is a bumper as well on their ANN thread.

I am pretty sure that they  forgot to  tell that to their clients, i can just imagine how bad it was in Altcoin section before this rule was implemented.
Hoping that this implementation will not be used for wrongdoing as well like selling someone's bump score especially those higher ranked accounts as they have the high bump power over it.
5671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners&Help on: November 12, 2019, 03:46:07 PM
I can't comprehend how you came up with your topic title and even the poll isn't comprehensible at all then the content is you're asking for a donation? It isn't that bad to ask and where you should head to get some but for a newbie account that's been registered for almost one and a half years, I have some doubts. As what mocacinno just said it's better if you applied for a loan if the project of yours has a future and so that it will be developed fully.
5672  Other / Meta / Re: 10th anniversary art contest on: November 12, 2019, 02:32:20 PM
Seen this post from the main thread of the art contest and it's a great find by @Veleor. I guess this is plagiarism in a sense because of the idea being copied though it isn't the same drawing he just put some side dishes to look like it is his own. Is he worthy of this post made by theymos?

- If people are stealing artwork (ie. not just using stock images, but true plagiarism), leave them negative trust.

5674  Other / Meta / Re: Open letter to bounty managers on: November 12, 2019, 08:21:51 AM
I'm curious if the OP is referring to all managers as "bounty Managers" or if he/she is talking strictly about bounty campaigns?

As far as just bounty campaigns go, being as a lot of those users are going to post in the altcoin boards and clutter the hell out of those boards, I could see advocating for lowered weekly minimums for bounty campaigns.

There is a 3rd option here though. You can always go get an actual job and not worry about having to post a weekly minimum on here.
I guess he is referring to all bounty managers that handling signature campaigns may it be paid by shitcoins or bitcoins.

The thing is even if it lessen or lowered the minimum posts per week this users just post to meet the required quantity without even thinking what they post if spam or off topic. I guess this is a sluggish reason on creating this open letter by just lowering the minimum required posts. Because, if you already know that manager required that x amount, then why bother sent an application in the first place if you find it tiresome to do so?

Exactly. Find a stable job, keep married with it and never bother to apply any sig camps here anymore, it's that simple to do.
5675  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn $1 worth of bitcoin everyday? Please help! on: November 11, 2019, 06:45:56 PM
You mean crypto trading?

I think a lot about it but the problem is that I now have only $20 to invest. I don't have a huge amount of money to make a profit from crypto trading.
Can I start with only $20? I mean buying $20 worth of BTC and selling it later at a higher price. Will I make enough profit to compensate for the exchanger fees and even surpass them?
He means a foreign currency exchange, I guess.

$20 is enough for some 3rd world countries and it's a decent enough to start with, there are no definitive capital when your journey of trading starts all of it are just for learning AFAIK. To deal with exchange fees better if you use low cost transaction cryptos just like XRP or TRX and in terms of profit I guess you'll get few enough to cover the cost if you use those coins unless a rapid trend happens and you profit a 100% on the coins you use to trade.

5677  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to reduce signature campaign spam posts on: November 11, 2019, 02:57:57 PM
Wouldn't it therefore be a useful measure to prohibit signature campaigns to require a minimum number of posts per week or month? Or at least a minimum number of 1 to 3 posts per week or not more than 10 a month?
It's the signature campaign manager's decision at all to limit the posts of a participant per day/week because participants are paid by it but it is the manager's duty as well to warn or remove the participant if he just does some countless spam. If you stumble upon spam post it's just simple to click that "Report to moderator" button so you can inform mods or as what Welsh just said you may contact the manager if he just posting spams.

Probably you've read spam posts on some threads that aren't moderated well or that/those user/s are probably wearing signatures that aren't properly managed by the manager of that signature, most often that really happens.
5678  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Where to get large amount of testnet coins? (~2.5BTC) on: November 11, 2019, 07:30:05 AM
I guess there will be a forum user who can lent that much of testnet coins here, you just have to wait though or else try some testnet faucet site you can find a lot of it online.

Or you can try this one suggested by BitCryptex.
Why don't you create your own testnet blockchain? It will be much easier than asking a few faucets to send you that many coins. Use bitcoin-testnet-box for that. It shouldn't be difficult for you if you have a basic knowledge of Linux commands and bitcoind installed.
5679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VODDs - Frozen account for over 3 weeks. Have they taken all my money? on: November 11, 2019, 06:39:58 AM
i will wait 2-3 weeks thats the time frame im expecting for a letter to arrive from phillipines or wherever  the hell they have their office located
I don't think they are from Philippines to be exact but as far as the account of them most likely they are a Russian based gambling site. Furthermore, looking on their account here on bitcointalk they are almost 2 weeks inactive, if you can wait for that long then do but a month of just giving some false hope over a letter isn't trusted at all and I doubt your money will ever get back. This is the address found on their site
"Pareraweg 45, Willemstad, Curaçao
Ole Group International B.V."

Account still frozen and customer service and customer service feedback is non existent at this point

next step from here is to contact game-protect i guess
That extremely ill boy can't even clean his mess, and what will be the good thing that'll happen if you contact him, may we know?

thanks for all suggestions.btw the thread is already in the scam section since last week or so
Seen it but it was just recently this 8th of November.
5680  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake Coinbase Giveaway, Stay Away on: November 11, 2019, 04:07:59 AM
LOL with the domain and even if I am a noob I would definitely doubt the site that giving some free BTC yet you have to give first and just for verification you will send some n amount that's almost a total noob thinking AFAIK to fall within this scam attempt. That's a generous noob to send 0.1 that fast without thinking of the consequences.

Sometimes the scammers will fake "deposits" to fool unsuspecting victims. I checked the address (which sent the BTC) and judging by the transaction volumes, it might belong to the scammers themselves.
Exactly. If there are really two users who have fallen with the trap that would be total 0.2 BTC and not with 0.0005 less with it, it's the scammers balance.

To the OP it's better if you report this domain so that it will be labeled as a scam site before some individuals may harm with this.
