5661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winter is coming for altcoins on: August 01, 2018, 09:18:03 PM
Bitcoin is having hard times  Undecided, it's primary trend is down for more than a half-year. Even current intermediate trend seems rising it may eventually end with as previous bottoms. Last time btc rised altcoins didnt rise well. They still have time to rise but when btc starts to fall it will take altcoins with it. So if you have short mid term investments on altcoins prepare for exit. You can catch a last ride oncoming next weeks parallel to btc run. while exiting from altcoins do not calculate them with /btc prices just think them as /usd so that you can see your real profit. Even if you are in lose i recommend you to exit. You may enter later or never.
These are indeed the best times to enter when it comes to bitcoin investment. We do thought on the sudden price increase of bitcoin to be start of the bull run but it do fail once again yet we are going back to previous lows but well these kind of things aren't already suprising with bitcoin because anytime it can really break your expectations on where would prices will possible go. Now on this upcoming winter we can presume that it would headed back once again just like on last years but no one really knows if history would repeat or not.
5662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Failed Projects Returning Investors Money on: July 31, 2018, 11:34:25 PM
I invested in one pre-ICO back in November (Heardbeats), I liked the concept and it seemed like a promising project at the time. Unfortunately they folded recently as they couldn't get the partnerships they needed to move the project forward. On the upside, they did return the original investment, albeit at the current dollar value, so lost almost 50%. However, I did respect their honesty and commitment to returning as much as possible to the early investors.

Another project I invested in also folded a couple of months back, and I received an email from them saying they were going to return the investment. Still waiting for that one.

Anyone else have any experience with refunds (or not)?
Consider yourself to be lucky if you have been refunded atleast by those projects who didn't able to reach up their expected fund caps rather than on not getting at all when the project or team decides to scam.
I never experienced to have that investment refund yet mostly of the project I had joined up did succeed and make some reasonable profits to me which isn't bad at all.
5663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally I am Victim Now! Myetherwallet got Hacked on: July 31, 2018, 10:30:23 PM
I don't know how I Explain my feelings. I Just lost all of my savings money. I was holding since January, I have been Holding to make again a good amount of Money. But at the end, my holding's output is, I lost everything because of my ETH wallet got hack! Almost 5K USD Stolen. All of my hard working money. I Don't know how can hacker hacked my wallet. Because I Kept very secure my private key, My friends are telling that hacker hacked my wallet by my email address. But how can someone hack only by an email address?

I Got a security alert from Google that someone has your password after then I changed my password immediately. Then after some time, I was checking my wallet to check new Coin. And then I Shocked! I Just want to give up, can't think what should I do  Cry
Theres no way a MEW wallet can be hacked with email address because in the beginning you haven't been asked to input or register an email address, right?
The thing comes to my mind is that you do able to store up your Privatekeys on emails drafts or any mails which contains such keys and been find out by the hacker and logged in presuming that there would be a balance and viola he stole of your balance. Sad to hear on your loss.
5664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Where can I listing a token to Exchange for free? on: July 31, 2018, 09:11:54 PM
lots of paid Exchange for token listings,
I wonder where can token listings for free?
Free listing exchanges are usually the scam exchanges. Or no trader there. Those conversations are usually bad. But I still see big exchanges like kineo cubine coinex. There are usually free votes for listings. But there must be a huge community.
Agree to these words which is definitely right. Exchangers that do offer free listing specially to those small volume ones aren't usually good to lurk on.
Heres a free listing on good exchange https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000475411-How-do-I-submit-a-token-to-Bittrex-for-listing-  Grin

Bittrex? wont be that easy.
5665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't go to ICO!i was cheated again! on: July 30, 2018, 02:33:25 PM
I'm not interested in ICO because I've been cheated, and at that moment I feel wasting my time and doing a job that the result is empty because the end of ICO I get nothing.
so many new ICO scams and it is difficult to judge whether the ICO that followed was successful or not because it is not easy to find investors and investors are also not easy to trust the new ICO.
I've come to the time on where I do already cursed out ICO investment when I do lose up most of my savings but later on I realized that this is just always been part of the risk on losing out money because I did make a mistake which I do only carelessly finding up projects to invest without even doing a further analysis or research and now I tried it once more and make some profits to some good projects. It would really just matter on how you do research into projects which are really suitable for longer runs.
5666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to sell tokens after listing on exchange? on: July 30, 2018, 01:25:47 PM
Hello, everyone!
I want to hear the opinions of traders. Is it a good idea to sell tokens immediately after launching on the exchange so that later, when the price falls, will they be purchased again? Always after the listing on the stock exchange price falls?
Unlike on previous years where most tokens do able to reach out new exchangers it do usually have higher on its ICO price where as an investor its normal for you to take out or sell out immediately yet you do already gain profits and move on into other project. Rinse and repeat but nowadays most projects do even go lower with their ico price therefore you would really have a very hard time to take or sell out if you are on negatives.
Cut loss would depend or if you would decide to hold up.
5667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: bitconnect down the floor. Is lending dead? on: July 29, 2018, 05:51:40 AM
since January 2018 bitconnect prices did fall to the floor floor. even until now until 2018 the price has not shown improvement, the possibility that bitconnet will die is very likely to happen

$0.411049 USD price based on marketcap and yes we can already consider this coins to be dead or just literally a shit coin included among other most coins.
We do able to see the current volume which is on $1k usd in 24 hours which does mean there are no already people do trade with it. Just as expected this coin will really turned out to be a failure due to good promises or returns and now we do see the result.
5668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Useful tips to promote an ICO on: July 27, 2018, 04:18:14 PM
~snip~

We know that creating a project is simple and making any developments but we cant really deny the fact that marketing is the hardest thing when you do have a project. You wont even know if it would success or fail. Targeting specific audience would be helpful but its not really a main factor yet if the entire community would able to find the uniqueness of your project no matter how small the marketing would be it would really definitely make such noise.
5669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Salary in BTC from the Israeli company Spot.IM on: July 27, 2018, 03:58:58 PM
Israeli Internet company Spot.IM will pay salaries in bitcoins

Israeli Internet company Spot.IM plans to pay salaries to employees in bitcoins. Now she is negotiating with the Israeli tax authority (ISA) about obtaining a permit for the proposed method of payment along with an appropriate method of calculating exchange rates.

According to Spot.IM spokesman Itay Bracha, in Israel, the salary or allowance paid to an employee is taxable. The company offers employees to open an account on the crypto exchange, where they will transfer the converted into bitcoins salary.

To provide insurance against bitcoin volatility, the highest coin price and the lowest on the specified day will be calculated and used as an exchange rate. The staff will also have the opportunity to choose between receiving a salary or part of it in bitcoins or fiat money.

Employees of Spot.IM have approved this offer, as the high fee for conversion will be covered by the company. In addition to net profit, pension funds or other benefits will not be transferred using bitcoin.

In February 2018, the Israeli tax authorities announced that the crypto-currency transactions are assets subject to a capital gains tax. Thus, employees will need to pay a tax of 25% if they will profit from operations with bitcoins.

According to the head of Spot.IM, Ido Goldberg (Ido Goldberg), the company fully supports crypto-currencies and believes that such initiatives can provide confidence in the crypto-currency sphere.
After all these years i have seen most people do ask about adoption on where bitcoin or other crypto would be applied into businesses or companies which do pay up such coins but now it do already happen but people do say things other way around. This is an advantage for those crypto enthusiast workers but for those who dont have any knowledge at all they would really rather choose up fiat because they dont like to recieve a thing that do changes its prices any second or minute depending on how the market moves.
5670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOVI - Yobit Virtual Coin - First Raise Only Market is Open! on: July 26, 2018, 09:15:53 PM
I tried this crypto YOVI 2 weeks ago ... I am very disappointed not to be able to sell ... what is the interest of having a crypto unsalable
You didn't know what kind of coin you bought then. It's a ROM. There are already tons of posts in this thread saying that it is now hard to sell YOVIs' because of the low volume. ROM means rise only market so you can only sell the coin on an open slot higher than the current lowest price.
If you are lucky you might be able to sell your YOVIs' within 2 months. Maybe you can create a hype to get more people to buy yovi to pump the price so the market could move a little bit faster.
People doesn't really learn even no matter how many times being mentioned on this forum or do missed out on most experienced users do advised about Yobit and other related things attached to it specially on its very own Altcoin and now he do regret on buying it but I would say people wont really learn if they wont experience any loss of money but eventually theres no need to lose before we would learn therefore on the very first place we should have time to read up.
5671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: IS THIS THE YEAR OF STELLAR LUMENS?? on: July 26, 2018, 08:20:05 PM
project has most environmentally friendly blockchain, cheap transaction fees, transaction time is not long, and scalability is good. i already know Stellar is a top-tier in this market, is this the year where we will see Stellar shine over other coins?Huh
Stellar is one of the relatively new promising new-generation coins. It has a lot of advantages, including I like his wallet, in which you can also exchange coins. Of course, this coin will grow very well when the market, at last, begins to rise.
Its not a new coin coin yet this is already a 2 and 3 month old coin but well if you do compared into other coins then this would be still younger but if we do base on the current rankings on the entire market then its on or included on top 10 which is really a good thing. If we do like to read up about this coin then its good to see up the good old days on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1428573.0
Going back into the topic,We wont know if this would be the year of XLM but basing on recent updates it can really give some possibilities.
5672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best exchange with less risk. on: July 25, 2018, 09:49:25 PM
Bigger exchanges doesn't necessarily mean that it has better security or services. Hitbtc for example, is one of the earlier exchanges but the service is shit. I'm using kucoin and OKex for now and I haven't got a problem with it.
Nothing on this world would become permanent or would remain on the top spot and just like how we do see on the current situation of Poloniex where it do being replaced by new ones like Binance. Going back into those days on where Binance was just starting up but the fact they do gain popularity yet they can really deliver out on what a trader needs but doesn't mean big exchangers cant really face up issues either on service side or hacking incidents.
5673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earnings from long time Holdings on: July 24, 2018, 04:47:47 PM
Hi, how many of you have a successful story/earning from long time holdings? How many months or years that you hold it and what coin/s is/are that?

I am a holder and it seems like im loosing my patience with the particular coin that I am holding right now so I want to gain some inspiration from you when it terms with holding.
I'm not holder, therefore I cant really give any advices yet I don't have the patience to hold up coins or assets because my hands starts to itch when I do see profit opportunity which I do directly make trades for short term utilizing such volatility on those coins I'm holding.
If you are a long time holder then you would really need up the patience to endure market conditions either on dump state or pump state which you wont really tend to make a move no matter what.I know this feeling would be hard because sometimes doubts will really put us to the middle on making decision if we decide to sell or not.
5674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question : How do you educate noncoiner about crypto? on: July 24, 2018, 03:36:24 PM
To see bitcoin on 1 million dollar or Ethereum to 10000 dollar, we must all understand that it takes mass adoption to get on that point.
And mass adoption begins from home, so how do you educate your friends and family about crypto?

Do share so we can all learn from each other's method   Smiley

No need to educate people since this will happen automaticaly as soon as people notice that cryptocurrency is getting famous and profitable. There is no sense in explaining cryptocurrency to your friends and family because they will not get it right away. To learn about cryptocurrency, you must be willing to learn, I my self did not listen to my brother when he explained about crypto. I learned by my sepf when I noticed that cryptocurrency is real.
Instances would differ on each person because we do have different family members or relatives which either they are tech-savvy or not which they do either understand or not when you tried out to explain.I would say it would really be worth to try even we do know if outcome would be positive or negative on their side but atleast we do help up about adoption even just starting on our own home.
Its hard to explain completely on a person which do have zero knowledge about internet things but learning up crypto isn't really hard.
5675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Getting rid of scam bounties on: July 24, 2018, 02:01:48 PM
So, obviously there is a lot of bounties out there that are not that great, some of them are really good, but some of them just scams.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4419196.0

I just found this project, and it has some things that worry me.
First bad sign was a "guaranteed prize pool of 700k USD for bounty participants".  No project can realistically guarantee a prize pool that big.
Started to dig a little further and took a look at their reddit presence https://www.reddit.com/user/1apayment/ (basically non-existent)
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIJMXVm3bqn5SK9PvGXxqkQ - Youtube channel is very primary.
After taking a look at their team, it pretty much closed the deal for me.  I can't prove beyond a doubt that it is a scam, but everything adds up.  I'm not saying that I've proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is a scam, but I want to open a conversation to see what people think about this, and to see what kind be done about this kind of thing.

Anyways, I am wondering if there is a better place I could have posted this, or how else to deal with this.  In my opinion it is important to keep the message boards clean, and to get rid of projects that don't deserve attention.  Is there a system in place to deal with this sort of thing?  If so, what is it, and can low reputation individuals such as myself contribute?
In 700k you are already surprised how much into other projects that I saw where they do even offer 1M-2M bounty pool which I do believe that most of them will adjust in the end or just totally a deceiving thing just to get attraction among bounty hunters and do join up too many because of such too good to be true bounty pool.I do have some experiences on these projects but sadly most of them turn out to be a scam.
So I don't really get attracted again. its better to see for those projects offering 0.5-1% of overall token sold then that would be a considerable bounty allocation.
5676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed? on: July 23, 2018, 07:12:29 PM
So ones again we have been scammed by another ICO known as Uchit. Now people have started raining insults and curses on the bounty manager that he has led them to be scammed. Despite the numerous apologies from the manager, bounty hunters do not seem to understand. Now my question is, do you think bounty hunters must be blamed when we are scammed because they knew what the ICO was up to, even from the beginning?
On general, I don't see a reason why managers would really be blamed if a certain project turn out to be a scam yet hes just being hired up to manage when it comes to marketing and also he do depend on project given out salary too then how he would like such thing? Unless if the manager is part of the team then its already understandable that it is indeed already a scheme on the very first place but for those experienced managers or known on this forum its not right for them to be blamed.
5677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best and most paying Signature Bounty Campaign Currently? on: July 23, 2018, 06:01:40 PM
I am going to change the signature in my profile.

Please tell me which is the  best and most paying Signature Bounty Campaign Currently?

Looking for your suggestions.
This is somehow hard to give a fixed rate yet its hard to determine which bounty campaign or project would success or failed up. Usually bounty campaigns do allocate 1 or 2% of the entire sold coins and factors affecting such payrate would be the number of applicants on each program on where you do joined. Lets say you join on signature it would be divided for sure and calculations would always be known in the end of the program but the question is, the coin would be listed on exchangers?
5678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the success of the bounty campaign!!! on: July 22, 2018, 07:58:02 AM
how do you think our best way to succeed a bounty without increasing the work time of hunters and bounty providers?
Forum advertisements and launching a bounty campaign. Don't mind on the increase of work time because no matter what angle you would look at everything would require work and engagement if you do really like to succeed your project. It do always involves work and effort and time and as a project owner or developer as long you do have the funds you can eventually pass up the management into other people.
The longer the run of the campaign the more exposure that it gives which can possible give positive effect on the entire project.
5679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on risky ICOs? on: July 22, 2018, 06:47:04 AM
Investing in ICOs is very risky because it`s a lot of scams, but this risks can make a good profit for you. First of all, you need to know the projects as well, understand the concept of it. Then, invest your money in a few promising ICOs.
When we decide to invest in a project then we must be willing to accept all the risks. although the risk is huge, but it is a risk that will happen. than when we do nothing we have no chance at all. in choosing an ico project then we must really prepare and pay attention to all aspects that exist. it is because when we can do the analysis well then we are getting closer to success.
It is all about taking the risk and putting our money and future at risk in order to get some chance to get a higher reward, the higher the risk the higher the reward but even though there is a possible high reward, you can minimize it to a lower amount of risk by doing research first and checking the team.
As an investor we should keep an eye to those projects which would only give less risk and big reward but these circumstances or situation are rare to find or somehow do needs luck for you to spot on.
Its normal to think or say where the higher the risk the higher the reward which is true but I do agree on the thing you said about we can still able to earn big reward with less risk but we do talk about ICO, why would you try to invest if you do see the project isn't really worth?
5680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: July 22, 2018, 06:09:25 AM
It is regrettable but a normal result, if the ICO fail, it does not award prize winners. So if we want earn many tokens we must joined other campaigns of different projects, the social media etc too.
Really a normal result because no project would tend to pay up bounty participants if they haven't reach out their cap even just on the minimum side which on a simple logic or understanding its normal for them to make such act. No one would be compensated or be given and that's always been part of the life of a bounty hunter. You would be paid up or not on all the works you have done. For some other ways social media campaigns you can join up unlimited camps but we know the pay isn't too high compared when you do join up on signature or translation services.
