5661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: May 03, 2021, 05:45:24 PM
Of course, if your are a trader what you should be looking out for is an exchange with liquidity and last I checked a cex has more liquidity than a dex. And besides this you can trade on multi blockchains with a few clicks other than coins only found on that blockchain.

Another reason to use a cex is some now have insurance so they are  responsible should a hack happen unlike a Dex where you're sorely responsible for what ever happens.
I guess I have all the reasons to trust a centralized exchange.

Gareth Bale is just the man for the EPL headlines today. He was amazing all through the games today with perfect finish. All 3 goals (Hat-trick). It was really surprising Tottenham could make such a scoreline.
It's games like these you ask if the problem was with the coach (Jose Mourinho) or Bale wasn't given enough play time to prove himself as he did, am just hoping his performance is consistent for us to make a conclusion.

To have won Sheffield United by 4 goals to nothing #0
.
Sheffield can be pathetic when the want to and also give you a good game on a good day but whatever it is they lack inspiration/motivation to win games.

Spurs where playing from a home side. Its very much an added advantage to them and they've lost and shared points in far too many games.
Without actual fans I don't see how that's an advantage?? Would playing on neutral grounds feel any different from playing at home ,I don't think so.

5664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: May 02, 2021, 06:32:25 PM
Yes it can!

AFAIK cryptos today when compared with Real gold is considered to be digital gold which says both are high value assets.

But with time, owning real gold will be obsolete and millennials will be more likely to invest in crypto than the metal itself. Might not be millennials but technological advancements will make this possible.
5665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / When gas fees drop, does mining difficulty drop on: May 02, 2021, 05:50:58 PM
Ever since the Ethereum Berlin upgrade happened, I have noticed a  huge drop in transaction fees for both normal Ethereum transfers and eth token transfers which is a huge development.

My question, does this also mean mining has been easier because of a drop in fees or mining difficulty? And will this be encouraging for the miners?

Protesting right before an important match starts while COVID is still around doesn't benefit anybody. The owners will just ignore whatever they were asking for. Fans can become passionate and stupid sometimes.
Fans storming the pitch like that is likely to push this match to later date possibly after 2 weeks should players be put in quarantine or self isolation on reasons of COVID prevention because that is what those unruly fans subjected the teams too.

Premier league should fine the clubs for failing to control those fans and if any of them are known, a ban will be welcome.

Hugely important game today, it's our last chance to stay in the race for CL spots. United is in far better form at the moment and I'm not feeling confident at all.
Agreed!

They need to win to keep theoretical chance of winning the league so they will probably attack, which can work in our favor. Still, they know they have no real chance of winning the league and this is a huge derby, so I'm sure their priority for today will be to keep us out of the CL spots.
I have the feeling that United can actually steal this title, so sooner or later Manchester City has to drop some points, just not sure which games these will be, and which rumours of players like Rahem leaving this could be demotivating to him and some of his teammates.

And united game against Liverpool, atm united should be in better form and I see these guys winning the game.
5669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that a new ATH is coming or a crash? on: May 02, 2021, 06:24:31 AM
Help me understand, according to market cycles, markets will always have retracements (pullbacks),do these count to be a crash or this has to be an aggressive drop in price to be called a crash?? Whichever is the answer I think ATH will be recorded more than crashes because we have a good number of whales buying and selling, which means there will be demand whenever price contracts to the downside.
5670  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: May 01, 2021, 11:49:13 PM
First and foremost, you need to understand trading is not a get rich quick scheme!

Secondly you need general forex knowledge about charts, candles, patterns and how to analyze markets using top down analysis.

Last but not the least you need patience.

With all this put together you can come up with your own strategy.
5671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 01, 2021, 11:02:05 PM
Incredible Atletico won  Shocked JK.
Atletico and Real both won and now they are leading, Barca must need to win the next 2 games.
Barca gave Atletico the life line with that failed win and Atletico are making their intentions known cant afford to slip up, but still weren't these guys up by 7-10 points, how the hell did Real and Barca close in?

Especially the second one it will be the bigger game of the season Atletico-Barca.
With Real Madrid applying the pressure, this will be a win for Atletico just watch out for some Suarez goals.
5672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE is living proof of Influential Power of Rich People! on: May 01, 2021, 10:20:19 PM
Guys like him don't just make lucid statements for the fun of it!

Everything is calculated, not forgetting his a business man that has invested real money in this and a profit is expected at the end of the day.

I hope people see past the shilling tweets to be a business move, BTW these crypto tweets we usually see don't just benefit Doge, most if not all cryptos get the boost.
5673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB is at it's peak price? on: May 01, 2021, 09:34:29 PM
For a coin that is coming from the best exchange(Binance) I don't see its price slowing down any time soon.

I see it going for second spot which is very much possible because these binance guys have token buys which make they coin valuable and more projects are building projects on their blockchain which means more demand, btw binance already registered its new Ath this week and with altcoin season looking ripe expect another ath.

5675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can doge coin reach 1$ this year? on: May 01, 2021, 08:12:22 PM
No ways!

Coins with a high supply remain in the cents, worse off such tokens don't have token burns which means there is no price stimulation for demand to happen.

I am holding 125000 doge coin , and did not sell even at 0.47 $ , Is there any chances to doge coin can go to 1$ this year ?

Thanks

I would say start buying and selling, price hits 30 cents or below you buy, when it hits 45 cents or above you sell....you should make a decent profit than people waiting for Doge to hit $1.
5676  Economy / Service Discussion / What are Bitcoin mixers, and why do exchanges ban them? on: May 01, 2021, 07:16:58 PM
Bitcoin transactions are easy to trace, except when the sender uses a mixer to muddle the link between their crypto address and real-life identity.

One of the original allures of cryptocurrency is the narrative that using them provides the sender or recipient anonymously, but this is a common misconception within the sector.

In reality, Bitcoin (BTC) and many other cryptocurrencies are easily traceable.

Proof of this came earlier this week when on April 27, U.S. authorities arrested the mastermind of Bitcoin Fog, a darknet-based BTC mixing service. Authorities were able to capture the operator after analyzing ten years of blockchain data.

One doesn't need to be a forensic analyst to know that every single transaction is tied up to addresses on the blockchain and that they will stay there forever. While government agencies cannot determine the IP address or personal data from the address, these coins usually end up being used for products or service payments. This is the trail that leads back to the sender and recipient.

In the case of Bitcoin Fog, law enforcement was able to identify server hosting expenses paid using digital currency. Bitcoin mixing services such as Bitcoin Fog allow users to mix their coins with other users, making it almost impossible to detect the destination addresses. This obfuscates the ties between the inputs and output addresses, providing a better level of privacy.

Mixing services are offered in a wide range of methods, including fully centralized solutions where trust is required, to Coinjoin mixers, which depend on a large group of users to self cooperate and act simultaneously. There's even the possibility of trading on decentralized exchanges (DEX) to virtually eliminate any possible tracing.

Mixers do present a few risks
Centralized mixers offer the obvious single point of failure problem. Even if one trusts that the entity is using multisig addresses, if the service is willing to share its data or has been breached, their users will lose their privacy.

CoinJoin solved this problem by combining the inputs of multiple users into a single transaction. The service will then take those coins, craft them into a transaction, and have each participant sign before broadcasting it to the network. These transactions are then merged into one, and each user gets the original quantity in return. However, no one can see the origin of those coins, not even the entity that merges the transaction.

Even though CoinJoin isn't exactly untraceable, it provides plausible deniability, as no one can point out which entity owns each output. The larger the number of participants, the higher the degree of deniability.

Some cryptocurrency users also require anonymity for sending tokens to their wallets, and Wasabi Wallet has long been used for its embedded CoinJoin functionalities.

While its infrastructure is technically centralized, its design assures that the operators cannot deanonymize users or steal any funds. At the moment, the Wasabi wallet is only available for desktop solutions, so as is the case with anything in cryptocurrency, beware of clones!

A similar service is provided by Samourai wallet, which also offers a Chaumian CoinJoin mixing service, called Whirlpool. To achieve a full-privacy solution, users have to connect the Samourai wallet to their own full Bitcoin node. However, it does offer desktop and mobile versions.

Even though these mixing services aren't illegal in most jurisdictions, some exchanges and services might refuse users linked to addresses associated with coin mixing activities.

As more people realize the importance of achieving a certain degree of privacy for self-protection, the fewer incentives companies will have to deny their clients to use mixers.

It will be interesting to watch the game Chelsea vs Fulham today... I think Chelsea can win this match with a big score...

Seems like everyone is winning two goals to nil, Chelsea just beat fulham by that score line which doesn't guarantee them that UEFA spot as they have played an extra game more than the competition, if they are to play till the last game third and fourth isnt safe.

Quote
Also Everton need to beat Aston Villa to get into the UEFA qualification zone...
Am going for the Everton correct score here (2-0), hope Villa doesn't come guns blazing.

Transfer rumours:

Manchester City are willing to sell England forward Raheem Sterling, this summer to help finance potential moves for Borussia Dortmund's Haaland
Haaland must be the most wanted man today.
Real Madrid wants to see him too, Manchester City as outlined above and not forgetting Barcelona (*** with Messi as top man I don't see this move happening***)

Should Haaland be signed I think he will be the most expensive player should this deal happen!

Barcelona have made contact with Paris St-Germain over a potential move to bring Brazil forward Neymar, 29, back to the Nou Camp. I thought that story was already over given the great financial crisis of Barcelona.

This has be a rumour for the longest time , isn't time to accept that this move won't happen, maybe Barca is hinting to say Neymar isn't happy to be in France, hence the continued rumours??
5679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: May 01, 2021, 12:19:05 PM
If you have been playing(gambling) for a long time and you happen to get a day to win some games I think anyone would want to push their luck to try chase those loses you had some time back Tongue to turn them into profits.

But like everyone says, the house always wins which is why losing is always guaranteed because greed follows winners and emotions follow loses who go all in to wipe out their account.
5680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: May 01, 2021, 09:45:45 AM
Some used to pacify themselves with the term it is their fate to loss in gambling. Some say it is the lack of control that makes them loss big. Here I'm taking this into discussion relative to the game - Dice.
In a game of chance and one is well aware that the house always wins I will go with fate! I was going to say lack of control only when you won a number of hands and never stopped but chose to play on which should be said is greed.

Same as this some used to mention winning as fate and some term the same as luck. I believe win out of dice is trick, and right exit strategy.
If your winnings are consistent that's purely skill not luck neither is it fate, and in a game that can be manipulated I don't see how fate comes in to be honest..
