And the Supreme Court has no brought it back under an unanimous decision of the justices, they also came out and said that the federal courts under them had been overreaching their boundaries and shouldn't have done this. So I would be considering this a big win for the GOP and Trump in general.

Probably going to be something that's gonna set a precedence with the federal courts and executive actions of this order as well.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/06/26/us/politics/supreme-court-trump-travel-ban-case.html - Here's the NY Times article.

After being bitch slapped like that, if liberal district court judges try something similar again they could easily be impeached.
5662  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: June 29, 2017, 09:47:49 PM
I can't respect all people. For me, a person needs to earn respect. In the case of the Muslims is not possible. I do not like them and think that they have nothing to do in Europe. Nothing but hatred they will bring. This in consequence may lead to ethnic conflicts and the consequences will be unpredictable.

Islam is not compatible with the current cultural ethos of Europe. Ever since the crusade, the Europeans have remained against Islam (and vice versa). Muslims have made numerous efforts to invade Europe, but were thwarted only due to strong resistance from the Russians, Serbs, Poles, Romanians and the Greeks.

Individuals with a Muslim background have managed to earn my respect and become friends. Others have not. As a group I do not trust them, and do not think their religion has any merit whatsoever.
5663  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: June 28, 2017, 11:38:02 AM
If so, why?

If that's the question, Obviously a big NO. You're talking to the muslims generally. We should remember that not all muslims are bad. Im a catholic and I believe that there are many bad catholics too. What do I really mean is simply being a good or bad human doest reflect its religion. We must not treat everybody generally..

I don't see why not.

If one religion teaches it's people to be honest and tell the truth, and Islam teaches it's people to lie - Takiyya - we certainly can assign the trait of telling the truth, or lying, to these two groups.
5664  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: June 28, 2017, 02:39:36 AM
I understand why so many questions are raised about hatred and people towards Muslims. If you look at the latest trends in the world, this is what is happening in some cities, then we will see that terrorist acts very much frighten people and violate a quiet life. It is the Muslims who are more to blame for these facts

I think the question asking is wrong as we are not speaking about the hatred towards a person but about a "cult/religion" whatever. You've to see it from a different point of view, its not even rasistic to hate them as its not towards a "race" but just against an Idea!!

I think the question asked is exactly, perfectly correct, because the Muslims represent the embodiment of that Idea.
5665  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CNN FAKE NEWS Machine. on: June 27, 2017, 11:08:54 PM
I give them some credit for posting a retraction

I can't say I've ever seen Fox News print a retraction when they post bullshit... Fox "News" loves spreading bullshit fake news....

Here's a case where they bowed under pressure to retract a story.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/slain-dnc-staffer-family-demands-retractions-fox-news-article-1.3174623

It wasn't quite the case that they determined it was fake news.

I can think of one or two cases where Oreilly later found something was false, and he was fast to retract it. That's different than the network doing a retraction, of course.
5666  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: June 27, 2017, 10:58:07 PM
....

Islam ideology is really bad.  It can turn otherwise good people into maniacs and serial killers. It can really screw up your moral compass.

Some Muslims are good people, because they are good people to begin with not because they are Muslim.  They are good people
DESPITE teachings of Islam. They are probably ignoring large parts of Quran and ignoring Hadiths all together.  They are the cultural Muslims.  They were born into this religion and do not know how to get out.  They are Muslims because of family and friends.  Not because they believe they should cut throats of every non believer they see, establish Sharia Law everywhere under one global caliphate.

In the 21st century, you cannot be a good moral person and follow the Sharia Law.  This legal framework is not compatible with modern ethical and moral standards.

I agree with this assessment.

Please, no ducking and dodging on the question. You try to shift the goal posts, and in several amateurish ways use logical fallacies.

One of the following is true.

A) The actual incidence of rape is far higher in Egypt than the US.

B) The actual incidence of rape is far higher in the US than Egypt.

You assert B is true, but you have zero evidence to prove your assertion. Isn't it really just wishful thinking on your part?

This article tells everything you need to know about the problem of sexual harassment and rape in Egypt. It says that more than 99% of the women there experience some sort of sexual harassment:

https://dailynewsegypt.com/2013/04/28/99-3-of-gyptian-women-experienced-sexual-harassment-report/

99.3% of Egyptian women experienced sexual harassment: report

Quote
The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women published a report showing the most recent statistics of sexual harassment in Egypt. The study shows that 99.3% of Egyptian women have experienced some form of sexual harassment.

Did yiu read the study? Sexual harassment includes men lloking at their bodies dirtily. I don't know a single woman in america or germany who has not experiences thia... there is a lot at stake in the propaganda war here... best not to truat aources, which is why I prefer 1st hand info. When I started traveling people kept telling me countries were dangerous, but I quickly learned to ignore anyone who had not been there.

Yeah, sexual harassment is a big problem in Egypt, mostly for women who ignore Islamic guidelines, but it is as big a problem nearly everywhere else as well. Admittedly, Egyptian society is in a horrible limbo where marriage is prohibitively expensive and girlfriends are not aocially acceptable, so many men are sexually fruatrated... in a place where marriage is easier, like Somalia, this is not the case at all- also Egypt isnan incredibly senae populated area with almost everyone crowded around the Nile river, so there are a lot of groping opportunities... Egypt is so far from Islam in so many ways, it would be as absurd as saying meth addiction is a Christian problem and point to Russia and the USA.as an example.

You said this...

I honestly have no idea what question I am ducking.

What you are ducking and dodging is the actual question, which is for you to provide any proof you can of the outrageous assertion you have made regarding rape.  Alternately and you could simply admit you were wrong.

One of the following is true.

A) The actual incidence of rape is far higher in Egypt than the US.

B) The actual incidence of rape is far higher in the US than Egypt.

Oh, so the question I am ducking is a completely false statement... that explains why I didn't know. The actual prevalence of rape could also be roughly equivalent.

Let's review.

The reported rapes in Egypt are 20,000 a year. You cited a source, which was a single individual saying they thought it was actually 10 times that.

The reported rapes in the US are between 170,000-180,000 per year.

This number comes out to 5.5 rapes per year per 10,000 people.

In Egypt the number would be 2.1 rapes per 10,000 people.

Going only by official statistics, rape is 2.61 times more common in the United States than Egypt.

So the question is only how severe underreporting is. ....

Not even Al Jazeera agrees with you, lol...

5668  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trumps Travel Ban? (Round 2) on: June 27, 2017, 03:05:17 PM
Trump may have a made a mistake by doing things openly.

He could have ordered an unofficial travel ban as well. Visas for Syrians or Somalis have only been delivered on a case-by-case basis for years. Trump could have discreetly ordered to make the scanning process even more rigorous, actually blocking all demands, and nobody would have noticed.

Why should he do something like that? He is the president of the United States, and he is having the liberty to change and modify the policies regarding immigration. It is the judges who are overstepping their jurisdiction.

This is correct, but Trump must wait until Gorsuch is confirmed for the Supreme Court, and then go with a broad question to them:

Can circuit court judges trump an executive order of Trump?

If the question is not posed broadly, then these renegade judges can go time and time again, over ruling a President.

With Gorsuch confirmed and the Court then 5-4 instead of 4-4 as is current, then a decision can be rendered that solves this matter once and for all.

Notice they have largely left the challenges alone. After Gorush makes it in, suddenly, it will get appealed to the highest court in the land. I'm curious to see what else gets pushed to the court once makes it in (its pretty much inevitable at this point).

... and now that he is in, voila! Travel ban reinstated, but partially. I really don't get this; it's like they actually want chaos to ensue. Suspending review but letting it be actionable?....

It's okay if you don't get it.

5669  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: June 26, 2017, 09:35:04 PM
{...} Islam uses a method of intimidation and a call to war against those who oppose this religion. This is the reason that believers are sometimes aggressively opposed to other religions

You're wrong! There have been many wars in Prophet Muhammad's period. But Islam never used the method of calling people to war against opposers.

because there is statement a violence in koran

Yes, there is! There is statements of violence in laws of countries, in textbooks in schools and many other. Does that make those who teach or study them violent?

Kill the idolaters wherever you find them, and capture them, and blockade them, and watch for them at every lookout...” (Quran 9:5).
when you convert to be infidel, the law is you have to be kill.
so religion of peace is just a slogan..

Wrong! https://discover-the-truth.com/2014/03/04/quran-95-sword-verse/

Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out.
even moderate still potential to be the terorist.

Wrong! https://discover-the-truth.com/2014/08/12/quran-2191-and-kill-them-wherever-you-find-them-explained/

Again and again I am saying this, don't quote verses out-of-context. If you have problems against a certain religion or person, it's understandable. But why propagandize and spread lies? Sigh...

Apparently it takes ignorant western kuffers to explain to YOU, the understanding of the Koran that in fact does lead to extremist terrorist actions.

These understandings are not "wrong" and they are not "mistaken." They are certainly at variance with your preferred interpretation. Think about it. You don't need to argue with western kuffers over what they have said. You need to argue with your violent Muslim extremist wackos and tell them where they are wrong.

Please let us know what they say.

Lol...

But how will they solve problems with Muslims and their radical wing of Islam? If you pay attention to the fact that these radicals are very strongly opposed to Christianity and, in general, humanity as a whole, it seems to me that everything will be very difficult in the world.

The majority of the Muslims are radicals. The mainstream media always try to paint a picture showing that only a minority are radicals, but that is not the case. Most of the Muslims support suicide bombings, death penalty for apostasy, stoning of women for adultery.etc.

Many try to cleverly abuse logic to make the problem smaller than it is.

In reality a good parallel is policeman. The society has rules and laws, and the police are the enforcers.

In a typical city about 0.2% of the entire population are policemen.

Muslims may have a similar percentage who are their Enforcers.
5671  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are terrorists only muslim in religion? on: June 26, 2017, 03:19:32 PM
They also tell to kill people of other religion/ its non followers for place in heaven

According tot he Quran, anyone who dies defending Islam from the infidels will be awarded with 72 virgins in the heaven. Everything which is prohibited in the earth is available in the heaven (alcohol, women, and even viagra). Anyone with an IQ of above 70 would be intelligent enough to realize that this is an attempt to create cannon fodder out of the retards, but there will be people who get attracted to this.

Minor detail, the 72 number is from a Hadith, not the Koran. However, if you take a look at "wikislam," which is a very, very pro-Islam junksite, it asserts this is a credible belief.

See the FATWAs...

China could have gotten their act together in the year 1800, or 1900. They didn't.

Please explain your theory with historical context for the people who lack the knowledge like me.

I'll try, but you are tough to convince. China has a long and possibly unique history. If you like, compare it with African tribal society or North American Indians in the year 1800.

Neither of the latter could ever have brought themselves rapidly to a technological level. But China was different, radically so. It had simply "looked inward," and rejected the Western world. That held until 1948, when the Mao "cultural revolution" started. But it remained both traditional China, and communist China.

Only when China itself started to open up to Western industrialization and methods, did the process of change really being. The first container shipped from China in 1995.

Thus, although you might argue the Western world owes sub Saharan Africa carbon credits, I don't buy that anyone owes China anything.

They might fall for those lies.

Meanwhile, an anonymous kuffer on the Internet is pleased to inform you about the actual incidence and problem of rape in your own country.

Interesting, isn't it? Did you actually think the authorities in Egypt would tell the truth about the epidemic of rape?
5678  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: June 25, 2017, 05:14:48 PM
Hmm, I wonder why rape is so much less common in Islamic countries if they are dangerous for women?

In reality, the Muslim nations have one of the highest rates for rape in the world. But the truth never comes out because less than 1% of the rapes are reported. This is because in Muslim nations, if a rape happens then the probability is that the victim will receive a much harsher sentence when compared to the perpetrator.

Comparing the Islamic view to Christian is interesting. I think anyone from the Christian tradition is more than willing to admit to the faults and failings of it. But Islam? "Oh, zey terrorists not Muslim. No rape, no, very little rape. Very peaceful, Islam."

The problem with denying reality is that after having done that, they can not learn or improve their cultures.

I have a little more pragmatic approach... terrorism, when used by non Muslims, I think is called psychological warfare. I mentioned already that the amoubt of rape and the scope and severity of rape in Islam is a huge improvement over any other system, if we viewed then holistically- I never denied that some jurists consider it lawful within specific paramaters.

Defense is necessary for any nation, and as they say, sometimes the best defense is a good offense. It's easy to criticize, but hard to bring forth better alternatives.

Not all Muslims hate people, among them there are many good people. It's just that the society has developed an opinion that they are all bad, but it is not so.

Not all robbers and thieves are bad, it's just media. Look at the legend of Robin Hood, who stole from the rich and gave to the poor.
