5681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: May 01, 2021, 08:32:14 AM
Hello Guys,

Coins on top for 2017 like EOS, VET, ZEC, DASH, NANO, XTZ...
Can they compete with existing coins like DOT, LINK, coins on DEfi.

For the old coins it's all about the work the projects team are putting in terms of marketing to let people know what the coin can offer because the market has to many coins competing for adoption(usage) but then again these newer coins could have come from ICOs so they could have the money to market their product which the older does not have!

Should I invest in old coins?
By all means, old doesn't mean dead coins!

5682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: May 01, 2021, 08:15:48 AM
When bitcoin was priced low the idea was to target holding 21 bitcoins as supply is fixed which would guarantee demand and with time price would soar.

Now that price is high maybe half the intended 21 bitcoins should be sufficient but with current price this target will be out of reach for many, maybe investing in some alts and hope for the best.

5683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: April 30, 2021, 10:53:09 PM
Most of the bounty hunters do not read the rules of the game,
Rules don't determine how good a project is so this one is not really something I would prioritize.

sometimes they only see the number of bounty participants and bounty managers, and in the end they complain about the energy and time that has been wasted. Cheesy
Certain bounty managers have a certain class of altcoin projects they take part in and I use this too, tbh it's all about due diligence and knowing if a bounty is worth your time! You can't finger point!

5685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 30, 2021, 05:29:38 PM
The only way I think Real Madrid can beat Chelsea in their next meeting is through Penalty kick.
Are you saying Real Madrid doesn't have it in them to win the game within the given 90 minutes??

If you ask me I think they do, besides Madrid isn't known for pushing the game all the way to penalties and I hope it doesn't.

I think Chelsea can't stand Real Madrid in terms of penalty kick. If in their next meeting, they end up playing full time draw, and are given penalty kick, Real Madrid
might wins.
If it gets to penalties its a game of chance at this point and the game can be won by anybody, so don't write either teams off.
5686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Trending on China on: April 30, 2021, 04:48:15 PM
I remember those days when bitcoin ALWAYS reacted to what China did in relation to crypto, if it was miners or exchanges been affected prices reacted to that, if it was the Chinese new year prices were mostly bullish it's great to see bitcoin has an antidote to this and behaving less volatile.

I just hope bitcoin is trending for the right reasons in China Smiley.
5687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading futures without knowledge of chart patterns, is gambling not trading on: April 30, 2021, 02:18:53 PM
There is a whole lot more to trading than chart patterns, you need more confluence to agree with your next trade!

You could be very good at reading your charts but if you don't have the patience or don't know how to apply your risk management correctly forget about making profits because when you over risk and the market is out to look for liquidity where stop losses or pending orders are located, your account needs to handle the draw down before price goes your way.
5688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full of get-rich-quick opportunities at Bitcointalk on: April 30, 2021, 11:53:45 AM
Yesterday I saw someone mention #Dogira at Bitcointalk, then I went and bought it and quickly made twice as much money!
Never heard of them, but If you continue to buy crypto when ever someone plays "Simon Says" I think you will have yourself to blame!

FYI People do anything for the right price, which means shilling a project so that people buy the coin, I advise you do your due diligence before investing in these projects.
5689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I Predict $20,000 for dogecoin in 5years time on: April 30, 2021, 06:33:58 AM
Dogecoins total supply of coins which stands at 127 billion coins doesn't allow!
Where will the liquidity and demand for these coins come from to have a price tag of $20K?? And the fact that doge does not have any token burns makes this near impossible, perhaps after 50 years when the world is transformed into a digital landscape.

For now Dogecoins challenge is hit $1 then lets talk about the next milestone.
5690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 30, 2021, 05:49:58 AM
Just reflecting on Barcelona's loss,of course it's not their first neither will it be their last but  It's interesting to see how these guys thought they were too good for other teams in the Spanish league such that they gave themselves golden tickets to an elite league like the European Super league without working for their slot. Fair competition should be the name of the game hope ESL won't be brought up again.
5691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The cleaning room stole my funds on Metamask ($1400) on: April 29, 2021, 10:21:36 PM
Do you trust so easily such that you left your computer open or should I say your most prized possession in the room...

So here is how am looking at all this.

Firstly if you cared about those coins, security would be your top priority, especially that you where in some sort of public place.

Secondly how did this happen that you left your screen on metamask, what were you doing...could it be that you sent your coins yourself

it was open all the time on my brave browser on my extenions.
now it ask me to open new wallet.
Wait what, this is sounding all scripted! Sorry for your loss mate.
5692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 29, 2021, 08:57:17 PM
Full Time Barcelona vs Granada 1-2.

Ladies and gentlemen and this is how Barcelona failed to win the game to go top of the log.

And what's really shocking is Barca had 81% of the ball possession which tells you everything was in the favour! I know possession does not you win games but it aids the scoring of goals and all, I guess all the credit must go to Grenada for fighting back and coming from a goal down, congrats boys!

5693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2021, 07:15:20 PM
I am not surprised if Villareal who is considered weak can stop Arsenal from progressing to the final.
We all know who the weaker team is for this match, bookies trying to set a trap!

What a poor start from Arsenal , less than 6 minutes into the game and they are already conceding to Villarreal....without arsenals preferred strikers i dont see these guys winning games consistently in any competition. Hope these guys are praying for their injured players to be back asap!

Other update

Roma has equalized against  Manchester  1 -1 , goals from Fernandes for Utd and Pellegrini Lo for Roma(penalty).
5694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Would having a Debate like: Bitcoin vs Gold win more crypto investors on: April 29, 2021, 07:09:12 PM
I saw some news article on kitco.com (video interview) titled "Frank Giustra challenges Michael Saylor to gold vs Bitcoin debate" and from the video interview kitco had with  Frank Giustra who happens to be a gold guru called out Michael Saylor who happens to be a crypto to a gold vs Bitcoin debate.

Do you think such a debate would bring more investors into the crypto world?
5695  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2021-4-21 Louisiana Legislature Passes Resolution Commending Satoshi and Bitcoin on: April 29, 2021, 06:55:36 PM
Its about time Satoshi Nakamoto the computer scientist is recognized for bitcoin ( is it blochchain tech), maybe a Nobel prize wouldn't be a bad idea!

@acquafredda. The comparison with gold that has 79 proton and 79 electrons and no human can change, to a man made computer program that can be changed is wrong.
going Einstein on us, i like it Cheesy

The developers might begin to have a hard time to change things in the protocol without the permission or influence of the whales similar to Michael Saylor. He presently has the threat to dump his coins if his voice is not heard.

When ever you hear people talk about Bitcoin vs gold, Michael Saylor is a name that cant be left out, but having that influence to tell developers what to do i dont think thats how it works....his not the first whale neither is he going to be the last
5696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for next 100x coins on: April 29, 2021, 05:32:31 PM
Coins you should be targeting are coins that are linked to an exchange (Cex or Dex)  as they have a ready market. So the popular the exchange the better the coin for example BnB coin, huobi coin, idex etc

Second group of coins should be any alternatives to ethereum as the high fees push crypto users to search for cheaper ones and this is were we have tron, xrp and many more.
5697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: chances of bank closing account if you buy bitcoin on: April 29, 2021, 05:12:53 PM
Like you said, a few years back yes bank accounts were closed for users buying bitcoin in countries were the government had banned the coin, but taking your money too I don't think so!

Besides buying crypto when price was low was a risk which is paying out well now.
5698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Be Aware]: Fake Ethereum and USDT Mixers on: April 29, 2021, 10:02:43 AM
Do these altcoins even have mixers in the first place? Maybe Ethereum might have because I remember something in the service section which wanted testers and positive vouchs came through but with fees which were high before forking the coin its likely that people were getting lesser coins than agreed or there where chances of running out of gas when mixing ...tbh these are just not the coins to use for mixing  Roll Eyes . But thanks for the head's up OP.
5699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: April 28, 2021, 11:27:27 PM
Sometimes I get the scare not just to the point of panicking.

And knowing that big players on the market and some retail traders are simply playing the buy low and sell high game., so these guys could be pushing price down to where they need It before a bullish move.

5700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2021, 08:46:26 PM
PSGPgs better singular players.
Manchester City better as a team.
Could not have said it any better!

This is the reason they will find it hard to win against teams of their class.

PSG needs to learn to play as a team if they still dream of scooping the champions league trophy.

2-2 prediciton
Prediction isn't far off the correct score!
Currently City leading 2-1

Scratch that, Mahrez has got a second. PSG in trouble now!
Losing 1 player due to a red card due to violent violation will make PSG even more problematic. Manchester City must take advantage of PSG's current situation and I hope they manage to hold on to this win. Is 1-3 reasonable to expect?
Out of respect 1-3 is over kill, 1-2 is playing with respect for the other team.
