5681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC losing its dominance big time on: April 11, 2021, 09:47:01 AM
in fact it is true the dominance of bitcoin has dropped from about 70% to 54% but  we are in the moment of its all-time highs so it seems strange to me since that users look elsewhere and buy other altcoins, i think it will be only a temporary decline

It's not strange at all. People have been doing it ever since alts came out. The last time BTC dominance slipped was in 2017 when everyone thought ETH would finally defeat Bitcoin and take over. They called this the Flippening. Now ETH is only 50% higher than that ATH of the time, while Bitcoin is 300%. So dominance does not matter here.

This isn't surprising at all to be honest. MI have been losing the first match of the season since 2012 or something. They usually start losing first and bounce back to rise to the top towards the end.

I bet on MI too thinking that they might actually win the 1st match this season, but RCB narrowly won it. Was an entertaining match though.

Yeah I bet on them thinking for sure this has to finally change but some streaks are harder to change than others I guess! Narrow loss will be good for spirit, just need MI to keep winning so I get my freebets;)

@slaman 29 @Haunebu you guys watching IPL then eh? I'm totally noob but there's an IPL quiz event going on in Club Talk around the time the matches play so make sure you keep your eyes open for them. Anyone else sharing their nicks in there? I'll keep mine secret for now, wink nudge.

I chose the same nick there so if I am there it should be easy to find me:) I will try to come on later to catch some of the weekend action! And thanks Steve for giving us the Multi Magic that is 50% there;)
5683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall to Zero? Possible or not? on: April 10, 2021, 03:37:09 PM
I don't believe Bitcoin will drop to $ 5k, let alone Bitcoin price falling to zero, it is absolutely impossible to happen. As long as there are still
transactions with Bitcoin, it is impossible for the Bitcoin price to fall to zero. Because with many institutions investing in Bitcoin nowadays,
Bitcoin fundamentals are getting stronger. This is what keeps the Bitcoin price above $ 50k in my opinion. But if it is true that Bitcoin drops to $ 5k,
I will buy a lot of Bitcoin. Because the Bitcoin price will definitely recover quickly.

Yeah. Any huge crash will be over in a flash. Just look at what happened last March 2020. Huge huge crash but 60% gains and recovery in a matter of days.

Bitcoin is simply too big too fail, and too big to crash without a big rebound. Any crash that happens now is just a way to wash away weak hands and speculators.

Lol, it is slow. It has nothing on top of it.

I agree you could use it all day to keep maintaining it easy. But people are going to call it a Shitcoin.

And if you have a bigger idea, you might as well Clone ETH. Its both easier and better.

I think the time for cloning ETH outright's gone. Even with the unique blockchains like EOS and TRX and WAVES and NEO already they are falling far far behind Binance Smart Chain. People don't really give many rat's tails about security when they're just busy farming and pumping.

ETH 2.0 couldn't come sooner.
5685  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: April 10, 2021, 01:03:55 PM
I believe crypto-games allows anyone to play without verification BUT if you KYC you get like no speed limits and 2 free levels. Cool like Stake:)
Optional KYC is easily one of the best plus points related to site like Crypto-Games etc. Personally, I observed that the betting speeds in Crypto-Games were pretty fast even without providing your KYC information.

It is quite fast with big bets but if you do KYC you get super fast bets even on min bets like 1 satoshi. Stake speed is also quite good I would say, as is Bitvest, but yeah, if you want very fast rolls like doing auto on 1 million bets, you can really notice the speed difference on 100ms rolls and 10ms rolls;)
5686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 10, 2021, 11:17:01 AM
They are an awesome and changed team this season in CL. Real Madrid played them in the group stages, and they gave us hard time. Mbappé is their Knight in a shining armor. I reckon that we are yet to see more of his brilliant performances in this tournament. I think PSG is going through.

They have always been a team full of talent, I mean Mbappe and Neymar undoubtedly the biggest talents, and especially since Neymar took our most of his diving they've been getting better but you're right, French strike Mbappe is really their knight. They're not doing so well in the league but I think they could really win UCL this season!
5687  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - New Community Chat feature on site now!! 🚀 on: April 10, 2021, 08:01:39 AM
Wow guys I have really to check news much more often. Was watching Mumbai Indians and totally annoyed they lost (but always lose opening match so not very worried). Very late congratulations to all of you for making it tight together and keeping Southampton for another 3 years. They are bigger than we all know:)

5688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 09, 2021, 05:30:23 PM
I thought Bayern could grab a win at home but they lost the game. Especially conceding 3 goals at home hit them hard. Now even 0-2 win will not be enough for them in second game. They were pretty dominant in the first match despite the score, I expect a great game again. Only if they had Robert Lewandowski things would be very much different.

What are you talking about? 2-0 would be enough for them to go through on 4-3 aggregate. They only lose if they win by 1 goal and score less than 3. Away goal is like 0.5 points extra, not a full point goal, as far as I understand the rules. Basically, they need to score a minimum of 2 goals, that's all! Not impossible for the likes of Bayern:)
5689  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: April 09, 2021, 03:32:51 PM
Coinbase and blockchain aren't gambling site. You can't say it would be same from a site to other site

Yeah I know they're not. But it's the same concept. Reward users who are willing to verify, but don't punish those who can't or choose not to verify. If you want another gambling site that also does this, I believe crypto-games allows anyone to play without verification BUT if you KYC you get like no speed limits and 2 free levels. Cool like Stake:)
5690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where DeFi is headed on: April 09, 2021, 02:15:51 PM
Looking back Bitcoin is almost too simple to actually use. It is just a Token, like the kind with Cookies almost, the Kerberos Tokens, etc. Tokens already exist, just more like a Video Games Token, but with no video game. The Blockchain is a great Novelty, the unhackable, no "Oops the bank created Capital that didn't exist", or any of that. Nodes all over the world hold it open, mining moving it forward.

But that goes to, a Wallet. Which was very new and Novel in 2012, but now it is kind of old news. And now, with ETH or Graphene, etc. There is no reason to Clone BTC, except for the purposes of educating a person who is new to Genesis Blocks. Or to have a simple Currency with not much to worry about as far as other people adding to it.

Bitcoin has Counterparty and and there was MasterCoin, but the name Master Coin was offensive and I never looked into it until it was already over.

But Bitcoin is like $50,000 right now, lol

It's not just a great novelty my friend. It's secure. Trustless. That's an actual real world use case that people have been seeing every day. Many use it on a daily basis, for me I earn, I use, and I save. And I know it won't be taken away from me.

Defi is literally just farming and staking to earn more and sell. That's REALLY all there is to it:)
5691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Square, Fidelity, Coinbase start cryptocurrency lobbying group on: April 09, 2021, 12:03:41 PM

They are !

It's the core business of Coinbase, Square owns several million in BTC, and Cash App allows the user to buy BTC. Let's imagine if a day cryptocurrencies are totally banned Coinbase will be shut down and the other will lose millions in capital and millions in revenue income.

Yes they have a financial interest, but you do have too, like many others, otherwise, you wouldn't hodl bitcoins and probably wouldn't be here.

Yes but they literally have their lifesavings of investors, their business loans at risk, as well as their career reputations. Unlike many people like me, we only invest what we can lose. So we do hope for a good future but we feel no need to go in and make things happen because we have I guess, belief and utility.

These guys are worried because they're gambling more than what they can afford to lose:) My humble opinion.
5692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins to be the hottest to get on today? on: April 09, 2021, 10:43:07 AM
I pick Enjin. But it gained again. I missed the shot yesterday for a cheaper deal.
From 2.14 to 2.94. Selling is not an option right now. Adding more is the best decision and will harvest after a year or two.
NFT's are attracting a lot of investors and would be best to just ride it.
Who knows when it will explode after more buyers will be enlightened and decided to take a shot at investing with NFT.

Agree here in the end, if you're into riding hype trains (which unfortunately I'm not any more because I got burned plenty of times in the past).

I think this defi rally may last longer than most of us think, including me. I'm only just looking at the way many are made now and many need to be staked many months just to earn a decent profit. Perhaps this is dump resistance?
5693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TokoCrypto Launchpad What's about? on: April 09, 2021, 08:01:29 AM
First of all, congrts on the 70x profit and it seems like you're hodling a lot of bnb for TKO IEO. BTW, i only get a small amount of TKO because of hodling less BNB for the IEO, but happy to cashout on 40x and it's great to see that Binance IEOs are doing great like IDOs. Also, TokoCrypto exchange might become the best exchange in Indonesia.

Indeed, TKO surpassed everyone's expectation as both SFP and TKO is parntered with binance and did the IEO on binance launchpad. That's why everyone get so much hyped up and investors get huge returns. Hopefully, upcoming projects will give same ROI like both of SFP and TKO.

I guess a lot of Indonesians will probably have also bought the coin just because of the name (same as Nagacoin got a lot of money from Asians even though NAGA had nothing to do with dragon haha).

Anyway all I can say now is good for Asians even though I'm still very wary about exchanges like Toko! Good luck to you all.
5694  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Just wait for April 14th, Coinbase listing looks like will be a record listing on: April 09, 2021, 07:24:33 AM
Coinbase and BNB huh. I would not buy Coinbase even if I was a speculator just because I actually probably can't (location problem). But BNB my god, at the rate it is at now, it would only make sense to buy it if you believed the rally isn't over and BNB can touch $1000. Because when the winter comes for crypto, BNB would be the first to lose 80% easily.
5695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic IV on: April 09, 2021, 06:21:41 AM
I understand that we have to experience panic for ourselves, from this panic experience we can learn a lot. As you said, we better panic at
the beginning than panic later, but the problem is most people when Bitcoin is not deep in correction, they will not panic, and when the price
drops far enough he usually starts to panic and sell his Bitcoin. That is what ultimately caused many people to experience large losses, this can
be overcome by placing stop-losses, in order to prevent panic selling from happening.

That's not a problem. Panicking at a point when you don't lose too much doesn't really make you learn any lessons. But if they constantly let go at small losses many times, the losses can really add up. Then the experience tells them they should have held on anyway.

I personally think no one except the luckiest few will ever go through trading life without a painful loss or a painful series of losses. Either way, it serves the purpose. Now let's all just hodl and wait eh?
5696  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low could the next bear market move bitcoin? on: April 09, 2021, 05:49:19 AM
I believe that will definitely happen. I mean not happen in a sense. We reached above 20k already and I believe we are not going to see under 20k ever again like the previous ones. Whenever we end up doing will be result of that price point.

So, if we have a crash, even at a 50%+ crash we are talking about 30k right now, and that means if we drop even more we should be going under 20k but that seems like a challenge if you ask me. This is why I believe we are going to see some drop eventually, maybe in a month, maybe in a year, I don't know when but we will see a drop and in order for it to go under 20k that has to be a HUUUUUGE drop. I can't really guarantee anything because I do not want to confuse anyone, but the reality is that we are talking about something that would be very difficult to happen. This is why making decisions based on that fact makes things easier for me.

Yeah what I said, that I don't think it will happen (price go back down below previous ATH after making new one). But if it does, it will create a big reaction among many people. Weak hands are always something of a bad effect on markets but if the strong hands turn into weak hands, then we'll see a bloodbath never seen before.
5697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 09, 2021, 05:02:35 AM
Ah Villareal somehow found their way to win with the slim away goal advantage against a club that is actually having such an impressive home record this season. That should give them a super boost in La Liga, but I suspect also this means their performance might take a dip IF they manage to go to semis with the next leg's result.
5698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 08, 2021, 03:43:28 PM
Yep. I think I am with Swordsoffreedom. The semifinalists look like it's decided EXCEPT PSG/Bayern.

Liverpool may win but not 2-0 or 3-0. Real will score away goals.

Porto cannot win the most they can expect is a draw.

City will hammer Dortmund as Haaland can't get past superior teams.

Just up to Bayern if they can win 2 or more.
5699  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: April 08, 2021, 03:11:46 PM
I think the guys in stake.com choose the right way and made the identity check procedure attractive, not enforced. I have noticed that those who pass an identity check get twice the prize if the user participates in a competition.

I 100% agree with this. Never make verification mandatory and never make users pay the price for choosing to protect their privacy. BUT reward those who want to give out their identities. Coinbase did the same initially before it became mandatory, and Blockchain.com did the same. I think in terms of casino, this is a good incentive if people really don't mind.
5700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where DeFi is headed on: April 08, 2021, 01:17:05 PM
OP, thanks again for the responses.

Well, they can call Bitcoin whatever they want, and yes the whitepaper of Bitcoin only says p2p cash but let's all be honest and admit it's the only one truly actually decentralizing finance. I am not a defi hater of course not but I think defi now is only for rich people (who can stake a lot of money and afford high gas fees) and not helping the unfinanced as it was supposed to. It really needs to fix that for it to work:)
This is why I think Binance smart chain based Defi is now in far better shape. Pool/swap based platforms should always have lower fees to handle high volume. I suggest you to look into projects like Pancakeswap, burgerswap, bake etc. All of them have feels in cents literally.

Yes, for now. But we all know it's just a temporary attractiveness. Remember when people complained about Bitcoin and started to move to cheaper chains like even BCH (Bitcoin Cash?). That really didn't last long at all and now BCH is going absolutely nowhere.

I do have looks at pancake and all that but seriously, where's the actual real value?
