5703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why So Bloody Hard to Buy Crypto? on: December 21, 2018, 10:23:40 PM
Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are becoming more accepted these days.

Why then, is it so bloody hard for the average person to learn where to buy it?  Is it because it's considered "dirty money?"

Your opinion?

I don't think is hard to buy cryptos.

I mean anyone can open an account on localbitcoins and place a buy order, there is no big science on that move. The problem is to give the first steps when no one is there to show you the way. Just like anything in life.

Even if you google 'How to buy bitcoins' the steps to follow are easy.

5705  Local / Servicios / Re: Que intercambio (Exchange) utilizáis? on: December 20, 2018, 06:49:00 PM

5706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chains on: December 19, 2018, 11:58:33 PM
Does anyone know how to code the bitcoin.conf file to do the above as franky1 understood?

Sorry but what you are trying to do is impossible because they could look alike but they are different blockchains, and in the name blockchain you have the answer why it couldn't be done. You can't make a composed chain taking a piece from somewhere and the compliment from another site.

I know it sucks, but you will have to spend those 200Gb on each chain... there are no shortcuts for this. But the idea is great maybe devs can create a tool to do it.
5707  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Artificial neural network VS Bitcoin Address. on: December 19, 2018, 02:36:06 PM
With Artificial intelligence we can train a neural network to get an equation from a bunch of data.
No, a neural network merely gets a regression from a bunch of correlated data. If the data is uncorrelated, as hashes are, then the resulting regression will be random and have no predictive power whatsoever. This is a basic fact of machine learning. If you think this "in theory is possible", then your "theory" is one that is completely unknown in the machine learning field, and you should perhaps tell us more about how it works on a fundamental level before making grandiose claims about its capabilities.

Thanks for your answer Foxpup, now it's clear why this isn't possible. even with infinite time and energy since the data is uncorrelated isn't possible. And it's sad, i was thinking the ANN was here to solve impossible problems for simple maths but looks like it has limits too.

Is there a platform I could use that automatically send my videos to all my social media with one click.
At moment I am a content creator. but I have to manually share to all my accounts to get exposure to my videos.

any platforms? or bots or a service I could use to speed up process?

What you need is this service: https://buffer.com/

They let you manage all your social networks in one place, you can make a list of publications and let it know when to post it. Is a great tool and works great for me, for sure you will love it.

I heard it before, is it free service?

Yes it's free, and you decide in what social networks you post, is great because you can send the same publication to all your networks, just try it and you will love it.
5710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chains on: December 18, 2018, 08:12:16 PM
Very nice flowchart. However that doesn't answer my question.

I think i explain it clear, but let me try again.. The question:

Quote
Is it possible to keep one chain prior the fork of bitcoin and bitcoin cash then two chains after the fork, one for each coin?

Yes is possible to have one chain before the fork, because there was only one coin. And yes, after the fork we have two chains, one for the old coin and other for the new coin. But the chains should look equal on the first blocks but they will look different after the fork. and you can see that on a block explorer:

Lets compare BTC with BCH

Block 1:

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/block/00000000839a8e6886ab5951d76f411475428afc90947ee320161bbf18eb6048
https://explorer.bitcoin.com/bch/block/00000000839a8e6886ab5951d76f411475428afc90947ee320161bbf18eb6048

Block #554384
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/block/0000000000000000001ab3d2bca70bcaa753681c86437c75a346ccdca542d632

As you can see the first blocks was equal, and after the fork each chain get it's own way. Hope this answer your question.  Cheesy
5711  Other / Ivory Tower / Artificial neural network VS Bitcoin Address. on: December 18, 2018, 07:55:54 PM
With Artificial intelligence we can train a neural network to get an equation from a bunch of data. I learn to do this when i was writing my thesis, but what i did was to get an equation to predict any property from water if we had the temp and the pressure.

So, the rules were: give a table of data with 3 colums. first the temperature, then the pressure and at last the property we want to get, it could be entropy, density, viscosity and other stuff... Run the ANN ad if we get a R close to 1 (linear regression coefficient), then our equation was right.

While more information our table have then would be easier to the ANN to get the equation, so, after this introduction here is the question. What if we train a neural network to get private keys from addys? If we give a table with 100 million addys with their privatekeys, AI could be able to get an equation to direct get the private keys from addys. Maybe it would take some years for the ANN to get that equation, but in theory is possible and the same could be done with sha256.
5712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: During these hard times, it's time for self improvement on: December 18, 2018, 07:37:28 PM
We don't need more speculators. We have enough of those.

So we need less theory and more practice. More applications for cryptos, more business accepting it. I totally agree, but we need to understand how that is on our hands. If we want that we need to start with the example, showing to the people how to accept bitcoins in their business, asking in any shop if they accept bitcoin as payment and making them feel bad if they don't accept btc.

Is in our hands to change to the world, and it will change with our actions, not with our speeches.
5713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoins to be set? on: December 18, 2018, 07:32:32 PM
How many bitcoins would you say one must have minimum to be set where they don't have to worry about their financial freedom anymore?  When mcafee said it would hit 1 million, i thought that is crazy and i still is.  Then there is this video where a guy said just get 1 bitcoin because that 1 bitcoin could be 1 million dollars in the future.  For most people, 1 million dollars is a lot of money.  But of course it depends on where you are.  That is not much in big cities.

I would think that you probably need at least 10 bitcoins at the minimum?

I agree with you, looks like 10 bitcoins is a good number to warrant the future.

We can't say each btc would be 1 million dollars, but for sure it can hit $100k each btc. Is about holding, that's all.

For the next year, i will try to save 1 btc, that's my goal, and maybe with that i will be able to buy a house in some years. Let's see what happen with this crazy markets.
5714  Other / Meta / Re: Banned work accounts on: December 18, 2018, 06:03:05 PM
So, you think is right to open tons of accounts and farm bounty campaigns? LMAO

No you know what happens if you do that, we don't want tons of new users just spamming in the bounty campaigns we want original users is good content, spam and farming isn't welcome, you can create 1000 accounts if you want and keep chasing those tokens, but at the end they will get banned again and again because that's not the right way to use the forum.

5716  Economy / Speculation / Re: The real reason BTC price has dropped on: December 18, 2018, 03:52:55 PM
I think there was 2 important facts for this crash:

1.- The BCH fork. Thos whales making what they want with coins and markets bring a big breaking off on the bitcoin ecosystem.

2.- Before the crash we see on the blockchain how 200,000 btc get moved in a couple of transaction, some people say that was miners getting out from the business but no one knows yet. It was $1,000 millions less on the market.

Is it possible to keep one chain prior the fork of bitcoin and bitcoin cash then two chains after the fork, one for each coin? I read it was possible but forgot where i got it from.

We have the main chain called bitcoin, after the fork there was two chains, bitcoin and bitcoin cash, and after the new BCH fork now we have 3 chains: Bitcoin, BitcoinSV and BitcoinABC.

But all that is a lie, now we have tons of chains, let me show it with an image:

5718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple way to earn Bitcoins through Gambling and Casino games. on: December 18, 2018, 03:34:31 PM
In the event that you are hunting down a straightforward approach to gain Bitcoins on the web, you may take a stab at betting. Be that as it may, while it may appear to you as pain free income, gaming has various dangers which should be considered. In the accompanying article, we have laid out for you a few sites worth looking at while experimenting with your good fortune: Bitcoin Gambling. We don't ensure that you win, which is the reason we emphatically prescribe you to play just on the off chance that you have some underlying funding to spend. Then again, who knows, possibly you will luck out and increase your crypto.

At the end is Gambling what we are talking about, you can lose or win. It has a risk and the golden rule is 'never bet with money that you do not afford to lose'. But you can play by the smart way, you can use some betting methods, like martingale where you double the bet each time you lose until win.

My fav way to bet is in poker, wait for the right hand and all in, but not always work.
5719  Other / Meta / Re: Could there be a section for sport on: December 18, 2018, 03:30:40 PM
Sport is one thing that unites people it's also promote peace and joy.
I know this forum is meant for serious discussion but all work and no fun won't make bitcoin price to increase. I was wondering if there could be a sport section yes the obvious response would be to channel it to the off-topic section yes quite correctly but could the off-topic section have child board where sport would be included. It would be a fat lie if we say that there are no huge amount of sport lovers in the forum I would state and even argue the fact that the amount of sport lovers can rival the amount of politics lovers.

And besides it would help easy tensions just take a break from all the bad drama happening in the cryptocurrency market. Also some cryptocurrency related project are sponsoring some football and sport team this can bring some revenue to the forum when some of this project notice that the section is gaining interest they could reach out to the forum for possible deal well that is IMO

Sport is fun and won't harm anyone if it's been discussed

Well, if you are betting in those sports you can open a topic in the gambling section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0 I remember the fight about Conor vs Mayweather was a great thread. And if you just want to talk about the sports you can do it on the off-topic section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=9.0
