5701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Basic IQ test on Satoshi's identity on: March 08, 2014, 12:43:44 PM
Very smart people know me as being a very astute reductionist.

LOL!

One of the reasons I started this thread, was to teach. To help others be smarter. That is empathy.

No, that is the ego shielding itself behind the concept of empathy.

The truth is that even the greatest geniuses can have lack of foresight that is later seen as stupid mistakes. See Tesla. No matter how high IQ/intellect you believe you have, it IS possible that Dorian is the real Satoshi. Is your right hemisphere damaged to the point that you can't intellectually understand that there are an unknown number of unknown variables involved that you haven't considered?

Thank you.  This is a much better rendering of the point I was trying to make.  I don't even care whether DPSN is SN or not.  In fact it seems unlikely to me.  But that is not the point.

You made the point well there.

We need  a therapist/ analyst who can tell whether he's lying or not.

You mean an analrapist?

All those people who vote "no" and have been posting in the recent threads about whether that Japanese guy in CA is the real Satoshi, took the blue pill (i.e. you are losing your sanity).

Those who vote "yes" are just dumb.

Just a few observations.

1.  You spend a great deal of time and energy belittling others especially in ways that are implicitly braggadocios.  Most of the time you attack people intelligence or masculinity.  I find it pathetic and very telling.

2.  Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto allegedly used an outdated version of his legal name when he published the paper and in his early communications.  He may have found this light pseudo anonymity enough when he was musing about the creation of bitcoin.

3.  DPSN may have found traction in the growing interest in who he was and obvious confusion as to his possible identities as an advantage of greater anonymity than he had counted on having when he used his birth name in the beginning.  Perhaps he then decided along the way to bail as bitcoin grew at a pace and to a size he had not expected (there is some evidence SN thought bitcoin was growing too fast).

4.  Your "logic" is based both in full hindsight as well as rooted in your own values (extreme anonymity an obvious one).  This leads you to a possible error in thought.

It could simply be, that if Dorian is THE Satoshi that he didn't feel an overly strong need to be completely anonymous until his creation began to have minor success, and then as it went from minor to major he took advantage of the fact no one had put two and two together and faded into the shadows.

I imagine he might have even planned a strategy to deal with this inevitable day.

I personally do not know if DPSN is SN.

I know your "logic" is full of shit though.
5704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Failure to Understand Bitcoin Could Cost Investors Billions" (Bitcoin's flaws) on: March 07, 2014, 03:59:38 PM
Do indeed keep your eyes on altcoins. There is a lot of money to be made there.

Oh shit did I do that crash on March 1 when I wrote the above (ProtoShares is the premine for Bitshares):

http://coinmarketcap.com/pts_30.html

Of course you didn't.

That is the market's perceived value of Bitshares-x exiting the Bitshares-PTS price.
5705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Failure to understand Bitcoin could cost..." (non-totalitarian version) on: March 06, 2014, 09:31:53 PM
i'm sick and tired of cowards thinking they're morally superior by either PURPOSEFULLY responding with completely fucking gibberish to throw me off and never actually answer my questions or points, OR... they just don't answer at all. I made some good points and you fucking morons in this thread are too retarded to respond.

Wow.  You do a pretty good Anonymint imitation too!  Or were you serious?  If you were serious I find this particular argument easy to destroy...

The blocks rewards are reduced over time because people suck, and make the bitcoin network suck. Instead of relying on what works, people just want everything to get done faster which doesn't really add up to anything but more money and energy being spent in the long run. The faster you make something, the more the stupid sheep like people who use bitcoin because they are parasites not because they care about the free market are going to simply want even faster. They just mindlessly consume everything in their environment, and now they're on bitcoin making mining even harder for the rest of us because they are so stupid they don't understand the risks involved in making mining hardware obsolete. These are the types of people who do steroids endlessly until their biceps are 40 inches around because they can't handle any other guy looking bigger than them. That's why we have a problem with bitcoin mining, not because mining is bad.

If you bothered to read the rest of my earlier you'd understand why bitcoin mining is a necessity. Data from star trek once said to a cryogenically unfrozen 20th century banker "In our society, if you want something, you simply ask for it". That's basically how it should work. You're getting caught on the idea of production, thinking that the work (production) needs to be equally distributed. You fail to see the problem with that though. There is actually better value in NOT HAVING TO WORK at times, and while we still need to work for SOMETHING the other times, we all come across times when it's easier just to take something to make our lives easier, but in that case it's only done with respect to who put it there, man or nature, and it's done without taking too much.

That's just the classic "This area was really cool when it was our little secret when we moved here, but now that others moving in it sucks."

In fact your argument kinda goes more like: "There goes the neighborhood". As you don't seem to be comfortable with the kinds of new people moving in.

Fact of the matter is the Bitcoin network is designed to print money.  There is going to be stiff competition for that money.  Either take the risk to keep up or make your coins a different way like I do.

I've always thought personally satellite tourneys are overrated. Wink

I say just play a tourney that pays out something that will buy you into the Sunday game.  Like the Saturday game?

P.S.  I totally agree doxing Ender is mega-uncool.  Go delete that stuff.

It has come to my attention that if Phinnaeus Gage has proven one thing, is that some people on the internet and particularly on Bitcointalk have a serious problem with literacy skills.

I would say I see a lot of ignorance, shallow thought and judgmental attitudes in this thread.  I don't see how PG is 'illiterate', care to explain?
For a person to use words like N****R and half breed baby makes them a  Racist pig get a fucking clue will you? Ignorance is the shit you and the Klansman are trying to spread.  You just sit there behind your keyboard typing supportive shit for this Racist but if the two of you were in a room full of black people the word "N****R" would never be uttered.  Please go away you Racist coward.

You have zero right to talk to me this way.  You are a judgmental dirtbag.  Welcome to my ignore list.
5708  Other / Off-topic / Re: I Lost Everything From Mt.Gox's Bankruptcy on: March 05, 2014, 10:55:10 PM
some of you make me sick. it's easy to look back and call people out as reckless for entrusting mtgox with their money (i saw the warning signs, and was repeatedly called out for spreading FUD on the topic), and if this is true, then OP is surely beating himself up over ignoring those red flags. He doesn't need any of you to remind him.

But to blame the victim here is just sickening. Losing money on an investment is nobody's fault but the investor. However, having your money stolen is a crime. I worry about the future feasibility of a currency if the community answer to such high profile thefts is simply, "well, you should have known better. it's your own fault." just... wow.

+1.

This thread seems about as empathetic as an aspergers convention.

He's either an immigrant, mentally crippled, or racist.

He could also be a fairly nice guy who is idealistic about his use of language.  Using that word does not instantly make one a racist.  As I explained to him, in my humble opinion it is just unwise to use that word.  In part because some folks will brand you a racist on that alone.

I think some people dislike that perceived injustice so much they choose to use it to spite the judgmental.  Wise?  No.  Racist?  Not necessarily.
5711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Failure to Understand Bitcoin Could Cost Investors Billions" (Bitcoin's flaws) on: March 05, 2014, 06:11:55 PM
If another alt-coin pops up that it better than Bitcoin, it will need to kill Light-coin first and i've not even seen 1 alt-coin thats doing that in this time.
In time scale; Bitcoins infrasturcture+the amounth of the ppl in the world that is even aware of Bitcoin will be to big to catch up. In other words; Bitcoin wil be in the top 3 most used crypto money in the comming 10+ years.

Litecoin as a early warning system for the eventual bitcoin-killer is worth considering. A very interesting thought.  I wonder if it has merit.

5712  Other / Off-topic / Re: Since my last post, we were almost killed due to some NIGGER! on: March 05, 2014, 04:47:07 PM
Wow...  not a very advanced troll, but a very effective one.

Nasty.  Sad to see it here.

If directed at me, not advanced because I'm not one. At least I don't come here to purposely troll even though on the surface my posting activity may dictate elsewise. It truly is not my intent. If it were, I would be man enough to admit that I am indeed a troll. I have written a handful of troll posts though, mostly of the humor kind. There may be a half dozen posts of mine that could easily be considered troll posts. I'm a pretty straight-up kinda guy.

My point is the word is so culturally charged it is, in my opinion, better to not be used.  Sure I can say NIGGER, and I can do it in all caps, and I can call someone that name without being particularly racist.  I can justify using the word by using it for all races equally... or not really.

And I think it is ridiculous that there are those here who have labeled you a racist based on your use of a word.  It is a ridiculous and intellectually shallow accusation.  Even if many people who use that word do indeed disdain blacks.

My thought that you might be trolling was based n the fact that, having read your posts, I would consider you intelligent enough to realize using this word sometimes causes pain or discomfort to some black people, as well as get's shallow thinkers are riled up and jumpy.  Therefore I'd imagine you'd not be one to use it.  Therefore you were trolling.

I was wrong.

I will defend your right to use the word nigger.  And I will also agree that using it does not make you a racist.  I do, however think using it is at least foolish most of the time.
5713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin won't ever become Mainstream. It's just a Prototype. on: March 05, 2014, 04:19:41 PM
Compare Bitcoin to any other successfull sites since the year 200. I could name Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Spotify, the list goes on etc etc and want to know what all those sites have in common? They became successfull within a very short time and Mainstream.

Bad analogy.

Bitcoin is not a "site"  and is more accurately compared to a protocol like SMTP (or its predecessors in electronic mail) which took THIRTY YEARS to begin to become mainstream.

The two main reasons it took email so long were:

1.  It exists to replace and augment an extremely entrenched and historical system: mostly government postal systems.

2.  The technology was not yet fully evolved into a propagated technological platform for mass acceptance.

THIS is exactly like bitcoin 2011 or so.  We are in the early 90s of email and the internet when people are still asking each other about whether they have tried it or not.  Today you carry a device in your pocket that delivers it, and its little relative SMS, etc.  Bitcoins acceptance curve will be much much faster than emails because in part OF email and the cellphone.

Stop teasing us by claiming you're leaving.

Lol....almost like he is talking to himself....   Smiley

You are both obviously low-iq primates, and as betamales you are destined to be shoved around by people with gigantic intellects like anonymint.  As has been discussed upthread the 3rd order spine factor of transceptive organisms all but dictates abject failure on the part of betamales to ever understand what sort of genius it takes to run a poorly formatted blog.

Quote
Aside from that, your lack of utilization of nested quotes shows your lack of ability when it comes to depth of thoughtscapes or even degrees of freedom and several other neosciency catchphrases I learn from watching Ted videos.
Quote
And singlebyte your seeming obsession with elipses is obviously planted by the NSA and it is unavoidable in the future that you will have your elipsetic code broken by quantum biological computers which already exist.
Quote
To be entirely honest your lack of nested quotes is only the beginnig as I do not even see any bulleted lists.
Quote
  • Nested Quotes
  • Bullet Lists
  • NSA
  • Quantum computers
  • I am an alphamale
  • Degrees of freedom
  • Anti fragile egos
  • Inability to dance well at all
By the way, no nested quotes are complete without full before/after parity
And as was discussed upthread, you have a low-IQ
You are also a betamale.

So until you can match my prowess and ability to type gigantic walls of text into a browser inexculpably full of overbig words designed to convince me I am smarter than you then I suggest you go back to your little room when the police will be soon coming to butt rape you for ever saying the word "bitcoin".  I on the otherhand will be developing the "one true coin" and will announce it somewhere noone will see because I hate everyone.

Ha.

He can't trust himself. He is not able to follow his own will. Such a life is punished by itself the most.

That's pretty good stuff really.  Wise and sad.

is all of my money (btc/usd) gone? is there any chance of getting it back? if so how?

I'm sorry to tell you.  Most likely all your fiat and BTC on Gox is gone.

If by some miracle there is any restitution it will most likely take a very long time to see it.
