Zato me ovi prijedlozi ne čude.

Yes because for me air gapping an iPhone or Android is easier than a PC or MacBook, maybe you have tips for airgapping a device in an easily manner? Turning on airplane mode or not connecting your phone to WIFI or using mobile data isn't really an airgapped device. The device losses that feature if you or someone else accidently turn any of those network antennas on. A properly airgapped device can't be connected to the internet because the necessary hardware has been removed, such as WIFI/network card. It's therefore easier to set up a properly airgapped PC than it is to do the same on a phone. I don't believe I have ever come across a tutorial explaining how to airgap a phone properly.

<Snip> That's too bad. Looks like it wasn't meant to be. Seemed like a great opportunity for someone who likes public appearances and making speeches and seminars. Any chance you could still attend and listen to the person who would do the presentation instead of you? That could provide you with some good info on how it's supposed to look. In the future, you would know what to expect. Who knows, maybe it isn't as hard as you anticipate. But I understand that you prefer to back out instead of beginning with something you can't fully devote yourself to.

It seems inconceivable that someone would get 2 of 4 keys, but like you said, there must have been a breakdown in the process somewhere. Not just two of the four private keys or seeds, they would also need the master public keys of the other cosigners unless are private keys/seeds were in the same place. Were you the sole owner off all these keys or were they shared among multiple people as part of a company setup or among friends/relatives, etc.? In a 2/4 setup, two of the cosigners could go rogue and steal the coins assuming they also have the required xpubs. Do you absolutely trust that the other people who were part of the setup wouldn't steal the coins themselves?

I recommend seeing this topic here for those who want to know more about TestNet. Unfortunately, that thread is also in Portuguese and people would need to google translate it to understand what it says. I tried to find a similar one in English, but it turns out there isn't much on that subject on Bitcointalk. There is this one from 2018 that contains good information > Guideline for Newbies: Trying out Bitcoin transactions with TESTNET.

One problem I see in their deal is they are using Taiwanese company UMC and there are a lot of tensions between China and Taiwan that could escalate any moment, they can't move production to Europe or anywhere else in the world, according to this article, and that can be security risk. The costs would certainly increase if the chips were produced in Europe and they also mention 3rd party licenses as reasons why the production wont take place in the EU.
It's great news that this is moving in the right direction. Too bad that the article is in Czech and Google translate isn't the perfect way to translate the piece. Anyone speaking Czech on Bitcointalk? I found a few interesting things in that Czech article. Tropic Square is preparing a so-called Secure Element (SE) chip, which is to be largely open. This will, among other things, allow it to be audited. "Largely open" as in mostly open-source? That would match some of their previous posts where similar terminology was used to describe their chip as " as open-source as possible" if I remembered it correctly. For security reasons, certain parts of the code could stay closed-source. Maybe the firmware like they mention in the following sentence. There will also be a RISC-V processor on the chip, which will ensure coordination with the internal firmware. We currently anticipate that the firmware will be closed, but the architecture is designed to allow the user to upload in the future. Not sure if this translated sentence is telling us that the firmware will be closed-source or "closed" means something else in this case.

2012 was a long time ago, but were you interested in any altcoins back in those days? Not really sure what was around at the time. I am asking because of the first string of characters that you posted. This one: "2xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxa7". Did you change the first character or does the address (assuming it is an address) begin with "2". Normal bitcoin addresses don't begin with a '2'. The only ones that do that I am aware of are those in testnet/regtest environments. Did you ever do anything in testnet?

If I sent it from SegWit, for example, but the end wallet would be a different type, such as Legacy, can happen that an error occurre and BTC transaction fail, or is it a completely unnecessary worry...? The only issues you will sometimes come across is when you use custodial services like cryptocurrency exchanges or casinos who haven't been configured yet to recognize SegWit addresses as valid Bitcoin addresses. Sadly, that still happens even today. If you use such a platform and you tried to withdraw BTC to a Native SegWit address, you would see an error telling you it's an invalid or incorrect address. But that's only related to that particular service not using Native SegWit, nothing else. The reason a SegWit address transaction is faster/cheaper... No address type is faster. A SegWit transaction won't confirm faster than a legacy transaction because of the fact it's SegWit. The fees that you pay and the incentive you give to miners to select your transaction instead of a bunch of others is what is important.

Adding this from the post above on the first question yes the block data from Linux should be compatible with Windows just make sure to copy both chainstate folder and block folder and transfer it to your Windows OS. OP is looking to migrate from Windows to Linux, so any data he has needs to be copied from his Windows machine to Linux. Since the data is compatible (I didn't actually it was), it doesn't matter.
@Libyanrav9 If you still want a Windows-like operating system, you can try Linux Mint. It's often recommended for those trying out a Linux distro for the first time.

1. Government policies: Most government and financial institutions round the world seem not to want bitcoin cause of the financial freedom it gives to its users. They would want to control and tax the flow of finances of individuals and they probably fear the anonymous nature of its transactions. The governments don't want to give a free pass to ordinary people. You will pay your taxes and you will obey our commands. That's what they say. That's why so much effort is put on deanonymizing Bitcoin and crypto users. They want to tax you and know who you are to tax you some more. And they play the financing terrorism card very well. I expect that more and more nations will start exploring government-controlled digital currencies. 2. Scammers and fraudulent practices: Scammers have found bitcoin as a safe haven cause of its transactions being anonymous. Also, terrorist groups among other sources get funded by bitcoin also cause of its anonymous nature. Fraudulent practices and transactions are made with ease wth the use of bitcoin. Cash is also anonymous. Criminal activities didn't prosper with the introduction of Bitcoin (it was there forever), just like global warming didn't get worse due to POW mining. But that's what they will tell us. 9/11 happened without Bitcoin. Drug trades, prostitution, and slavery were also financed with those beautiful and innocent dollars.
@franky1 It's the people who use Bitcoin that you should blame for the transaction fees. There is no reason to pay $3 for a transaction when you can pay $0.10, unless we are talking about multiple inputs and outputs and/or legacy addresses. Their fear or somehow losing their coins if the transaction doesn't confirm in the next block causes over paying. But if you think $1 or $3 is bad, have a look at the Ethereum blockchain since you mentioned it a few times in your post.

It comes down to this: If the bill passes, each centralized service provider in the EU (exchanges, casinos, payment processors) will have to perform stricter KYC on their customers. Solution: Stop using centralized third-party services. It's that simple, but for many people the alternatives aren't going to be that attractive. How do you trade P2P in a place where almost no one uses Bitcoin and you need fiat? Bisq? Maybe. Two things can happen: - People will give in and accept this as the new norm because it's easier.
- We will witness a greater shift from centralized third parties to proper decentralized non-custodial solutions.
It's in human nature to take the easy route. Hopefully, there will be some resistance.

<Snip> I am not a trader or technical analyst myself, but you have one month to get ready. If you have the time and patience, I think you can learn quite a lot about how to trade and analyze charts. And who knows, maybe that knowledge can be the beginning of a new chapter in your life that gets you deeply engaged in trading. I remember there was quite a lot of talk about educational trading courses in our local Croatian board sometimes in the last 2 years. I could maybe try to find some recommended videos and materials the guys suggested if you aren't going to give up on the idea of holding that seminar.

Satoshi won't come back after all this time. He is not an attention-seeker and the last thing he would want is to become the center of a media frenzy. He disappeared when Bitcoin got the attention of the US government and their 3-letter agencies, and he has successfully managed to keep his identity a secret ever since. If he wanted to propose changes to Bitcoin, he could submit BIPs just like every other person in the world.

To be honest, I never understood how slot games work. I never knew how slot machines work. I had a very bad experience with slot games because I don't understand how I won and how I lost. I never bothered to learn how it works. I just Randomly visited that thread from the link you have given. This is really informative. Appreciate it. Glad you could benefit from it. There are a few other threads where the main point of interest are slot games. Take a look at INFOGRAPHIC: Online Slot Gaming Tips from Veteran Players or Slots 102: The Provably Fair Slots (with poll), for example.

Keep in mind I bet pre match (about 2 hours before the match was set to begin)
During warmups, every book adjusted their odds to the correct price. So the odds were changed across all other bookmakers. In that case, your issue is with the odds provider, not with Stake in terms of the offered odds. You mentioned Sportsradar or Betradar, I think they are affiliated. Those are the people who could potentially answer your question regarding the odds changes. I still don't see how Stake scammed you when it comes to the odds on offer. You said it yourself that the odds were changed on other bookmakers as well, and the source I posted shows that Stake's pre-match odds were the same as with traditional bookies. Your selection won according to the odds provided. Maybe I am not seeing something that you are. The problem you have with Mladen and Stunna is not something I can comment on, and I don't know the history of it.

A few days ago, a survey was conducted in Russia of Russian residents and 82 percent indicated that they support Putin's actions related to the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine. This is a clear answer to the question of whether they are now guilty of deliberate executions by Russian military of women and children in Ukraine. Of course they do because many believe the government propaganda being fed to them. Russians are being told it's the Ukrainians that attacked them and they have no other choice than to defend their country. The propaganda machine talks about Nazis killing Russian-speaking Ukrainians and a "military intervention" is needed to put a stop to it. I heard fake news about Ukrainians developing biochemical weapons and toxics meant to hurt Russians exclusively. Cockroaches and rats are being breed to recognize and infect Russians. That's the type off bullshit they are being fed. When people come out to mass protests against the actions of their authorities, the authorities cannot do anything. Protest against what? They don't know the truth because their media isn't telling them what is happening. Government-controlled news agencies aren't showing how houses and civilian apartment blocks are in flames. They show images of tanks, artillery, and dangerous Ukrainians ready to slaughter anything Russian. And if a relatively small number of people come out in Russia, they are taken by the arms and led without resistance into trucks standing nearby There is your proof that a different stance against the occupation is being silenced. If you speak out and tell the truth, you go to prison and get beaten.

+425 = 5.25
-345 = 1.29 I don't know what to tell you, but I did find a source that shows what the odds were like on some popular fiat bookies. Take a look: https://www.betexplorer.com/tennis/itf-men-singles/m15-new-delhi/singh-digvijay-chandrasekar-anirudh/0AsS7DK9/The match was played on 23.03 right? According to the source, many other bookies had similar odds like the ones you saw on Stake. 1.29-1.33 with the average being 1.30. I have no idea why there was such a big jump in the odds value later on during live betting. But the pre-match odds weren't any different on Stake than what you could have found elsewhere. Why do you think the goof stunna or racist scumbag mladen is no where to be found? I don't know who Mladen is or if he has an account here. Have you PMed Stunna to respond here?

That particular post you linked to is great, however, the idea of this selection of threads is that the OPs should contain all the information about the topic of discussion. If that post by dooglus was the OP, I would gladly include it because I think it's good. But since it's part of a lengthy discussion that spans across 13 pages, it doesn't really fit. The OP of the thread is a question and a challenge to other users to show their best strategies.
