I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?
You are absolutely right mate, doing bounty is also making investment. You have to buy cellphone, personal computer and you have to pay for the electricity bills which i think enough to be considered an investment. Without it, you can't start doing bounty. Also the time and effort you exert in this trade is also an investment.

I am seriously considering it. There is no future in a small market cap that is pumped and dumped!
You may have a point but leaving is not a solution if you are a crypto enthusiast. You should find ways to deal with it to your advantage. We all knew that pump and dump scheme is here to stay. In addition, trading bots are running the show: milking everyone!
I am not a techy person and can't do anything about it.

@Boafeng. That news article is hype. Do not trust anything positive written on the fight before any fight. You will go home very disappointed hehehe. Remember Floyd versus Manny, or Floyd versus Conor McGregor? Both fights were hyped to be super fights, they pleased many people, but ended failing to impress the real fans.
It's all part of the promotion of the upcoming fight. You don't write negative news before a fight or else no one will watch. We can only hear negative news after the fight. Remember Floyd versus Manny, or Floyd versus Conor McGregor? Both fights were hyped to be super fights, they pleased many people, but ended failing to impress the real fans.
The fight between Floyd and Manny did not need an advertising as their names are popular enough even to non-fight fans all over the world. That fight was not hyped, this upcoming fight maybe. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Bounty hunters are very important in ICOs.
Bounty hunters are the ones responsible in the advertising of an ICO, without them it would be hard for them to attract investors. But there is one thing am not happy about bounty hunters. They usually dump their coins at any price the moment it is listed on an exchage which usually drops the price of the coin even below the ICO price putting the investors at a disadvantage. I want to advise the hunters to hold their bounty tokens for a while in order to maintain a good price for the coin. We shouldn't forget we are all stakeholders
I would not agree with you on that. I have seen tokens that price dropped to 10% of ICO price and they don't even give the bounties yet. So what does this mean? Besides, only a small percentage of tokens is allocated for the bounty hunters that in my view, the effect of it when dumped is minimal. For me the problem is on the investors side.

What exchanges would you prefer to see your crypto coin listed on? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If you want to become a day trader, i think you should study Binance. My experience in trading is not so deep and i just recently into it. I have three accounts so far and Binance stood out the best for me with regards to volume, transaction fees and withdrawal fees.

50$ is ideal amount to learn. Go to binance (~6$ min bet) and just start daytrading. Make as manny trades as you can and as manny mistakes as you can.
It is just fortunate that i do have an account in Binance but i do only have $10 in it. Would try this thing today. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Dont be scared, what can possible go wrong? -20%? from 6 $ is 1,2 $ - and your experienced gained by this is priceless.
I would not be anymore buddy and i will just remember that experience would be the great teacher. Thanks.

one of the good things about cryptocurrency market is that the exchanges allow you to start trading with a small amount. there are even exchanges out there that allow orders as small as 0.00001000BTC which is about 6 US cents! you can invest about $10 and start your trading journey and gain experience.
Hey bud, do you have recommendations on how much amount for us to start trading? Can a $50 enough for me to become a day trader? To be honest, i want to become a day trader but i am afraid because i don't have that ability to interpret a chart and they say that trading is not for everybody. Is it true that this trading thing is not for everyone? or is it just a myth?

I expected Lebron to leave Cleveland again after watching him this past season. You could tell he was fed up with this team and city. James got tired of dragging a team of scrubs to the finals every year only to be destroyed by the warriors. Yes they got lucky one year with the 3-1 comeback but that was a fluke.
No it wasnt a fluke but rather they do really have that comeback capability and somehow a mix or sort of luck.Irving was still on 2016 when they do won the finals same as Love and durant wasnt still on warriors. GSW goes ahead with 3-1 but the rest was contradicted into opposite way with 3 wins.Theres no fluke in that and this years team members of GSW is too damn strong. It may not be a fluke but i called it luck. As far as i can remember, there are turn of events that has favored the Cavaliers in that series. First was the game 5 suspension of Dreymond Green and the Bogut injury that come next. If only those things have not happened, there is no way that the Cavaliers would win that series.

reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.
Whitepaper is a great source of information for a project that you want to invest. You should read that to understand more of their project and also decide for yourself if that project has a future and not a scam. There are ICOs that only copy the whitepaper of other projects, i have seen many of that here. Im about to read deeponion's!
Though i am about to think that you are promoting your campaign. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I did some research for last few months regarding cryptocurrency. I got some crucial questions in my mind. One of the questions is: Will other coins go to near to the bitcoin value or bitcoin will go up again?
I have been here in crypto for almost a year now and that question is always popping everywhere. In my own thoughts that scenario is very possible but it would not happen very soon. ETH which is very capable of dethroning BTC is very far behind and it is dropping also.

Bounty hunters are alwasy blame for selling their tokens so quickly without waiting for the project develpment as outline in the roadmap. I don't think bounty hunters are to blame because a lot of bounty hunters hold their coins for years.
You maybe right that bounty hunters is the cause why tokens price usually drops after it hit the exchange but ICOs should make some move also how to prevent this from happening. One way i see is to pay their bounty campaign participants with ETH and not with their ICO's token.

|
What are the best methods of protecting the community from these campaigns?
It is hard to stop that pump and dump campaign because here in crypto we don't have control over people's mind. All they want is to gain profit even if it is the lose of others. The best thing that you can do is stay away from those groups but monitor as well their movements if you know one.

LOL, thanks for sharing, I will surely sign this because from today I am officially a Lakers Fan. I am expecting a revenge and I hope it will be the Lakers who will beat the warriors so their winning streak in the NBA Finals will stop. Good luck to all of lakers fans, anyone has an idea if there is a line for NBA future, I'll try to bet on the Lakers this time. Sorry bud but Lebron James' addition to the LA Lakers is not enough for them to beat the Golden State Warriors. I also think that James' decision to signed with the Lakers is not for the chased of the ring but a business decision for him. He could have signed to an eastern if he want to be in the finals again but he didn't and this shows that he is done and tired of chasing rings.

Kawhi and George really wants to play with Lebron, if these rumors will become true, their destination would be in LA Lakers. The big decisions is just a couple of days ahead and everyone is very excited with the outcome.
I don't think that these trio will be playing in LA Lakers next season considering that Kawhi will dealt to an eastern conference team. I wished Lebron didnt left Cleveland again, but he already opted out the contract. So, I guess he would be chasing another ring to add in his legacy.
Lebron James should have not chase rings in this time of his career now. For me he better retire in Cleveland and let his jersey to be hang in that arena. His reputation of jumping from one team to another just to chase rings will tarnished his legacy in the future. While GSW is looking to add another piece, as they are pursuing Jamal Crawford. Another good look from the GSW 2nd unit.
Even without additional player as long as they are intact, GSW would still be the champion next season. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Bitcoin is the oldest and most valuable cryptocurrency, but a crop of nimble competitors, including Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash, could lure investors away.
Cryptocurrency is full of surprises but in my opinion i don't think that bitcoin can be dethroned for at least ten years. With my simple observation, when bitcoin became bearish so also the other altcoins and this will never give them a chance to overtook bitcoin from the top spot and besides bitcoin is synonymous to blockchain technology.

I conform totally with you have said. There are lots of things to learn about cryptocurrency. There are several new concepts and ideas behind this great technology. Just recently, i have been impacted by some of the new things i have learnt about crypto.
I believe that to succeed in any field, knowledge is important and it will determine your success in that field. Without knowledge, investing is no different than gambling and it is very risky. Keep your knowledge up-to-date so you can keep up to date with new information for your investment. It is very true that knowledge is the key to succeed in every field that you are into not just in the crypto world. With regards to cryptocurrency you have to be very knowledgeable in field because this is a risky business that involves money and this also determines your future in real life.

I am a crypto enthusiastic and i know a 90% of people here on bitcointalk are as well. There are a lot of altcoins in the market today. What should one look out for before investing in any altcoin
It is the team that is behind the project that i am looking before i invest in a certain ICO. That way i could know whether the project is good or not and also i look on what kind of project they are doing because there are a lot of projects that are almost the same. I look for a unique and yet feasible project.

Google announced that starting June, it will ban all crypto related ads. Facebook also recently banned ICO ads on thier platform. two of biggest tech companies: Duopoly. I think this is creating an opportunity for real decentralized platforms for crypto and blockchain related stuff.
I think that this would not succeed like Facebook banning crypto related ads. Facebook has already done this and yet they have not succeed and Google will not succeed also because people will always find ways.

Bounty hunting is not very productive if you think of it. You have to post a lot and many bounties are very low so it does not compensate the time used.
I also tend to believe that bounty hunting is just a waste of time but i am also being optimistic that one day i will hit that jackpot, meaning i could find a good bounty campaign that could give me some earnings worthy of the time that i give here in crypto sphere.

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now.. I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)
Thanks!
In my own opinion every coins here have it's own set of pros and cons but with regards to Ether, i do like it a lot maybe because i gain some profit out of it and it is the very first altcoin that i have invested. As i have observe, Ether is popular that its platform is being used by most projects here.
