Are you people seriously concerned about "multi accounters" who only play on one name at a time?  You are afraid to play against people who are too stupid to cheat correctly?

Haha.  This is a good/funny point.  I don't really have any fear per se.  I just like to have all information available to me for all the decisions I make.  Including what games I play, and how I treat the players at the table.

IF the site adds things like late reg I am for talking about what that means.
5723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 20, 2014, 12:34:11 AM
It's just a matter of time for Ripple to take over bitcoin.

haha...is this a level?

Poker players in the house...
5724  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: March 19, 2014, 10:22:45 PM
Then why not make the start time 15 minutes later?

5725  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: March 19, 2014, 05:42:21 PM

Enough with the fucking castle
It is the crowning achievement for someone who wants to dance like he means it.  It's a place where he can keep away from all the riffraff that has invades this forum, as well as the burdensome bureaucratics, politics or shady conflicts of interest – just cool people, who genuinely care for what they’re into.  It's simple really.  A wise man once said: You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other.

That's the real unseen point here...  but someday it will be seen.
5726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taint will ruin the fungibility of gold coins on: March 19, 2014, 06:16:24 AM
Is freshly-mined 'gold' more valuable then, than stuff that's passed through scammy hands?

You must be careful when mining!  If there's any fees in your freshly-mined reward, then the gold in the fee could have been from a scammer and your newly mined gold may still get confiscated.

That's why I've been working so hard on anonyatom--it's a truly anonymous atom.

You are truly a high IQ alpha male.

When will you release your new coin?
5727  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: March 19, 2014, 04:35:15 AM
late reg will just make tourneys re-entries for the multi accounters

so this is a legitimate concern.

As a frequent MTT player, I'd like to see the biggest prizepools possible.

As a site pro, I don't want to see anyone just miss the start of the BIG BTC.

I think the sweetspot for late reg is ~5-15 minutes.  I want to catch the guy that just missed it, but I don't want the guy that just busted re-registering.  Very few players will bust in the first 15 minutes, and those that do should be easy to catch a re-entry under a little-used account.

Certainly things to think about, but IMO late registration will be +EV for the players, as it encourages action.

Late entry for rebuys is a no brainer.  That will work.  For what that's worth.

Without blocking IPs and disallowing tor (not even possible?) I don't see a solution for regular tourneys.  In that case if you want late entry you just have to deal with the reality it's a rebuy for shadow accounts.
5728  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: March 19, 2014, 04:29:36 AM
Hello you guys Smiley

Just to let you know that :
I looked at : "Sign in with your MtGox account to see your wallet(s) balance."
I have transfered 500€ on Fev. 18th to MtGox Poland account
and it has NOT been credited on my account...

What should I do. Where is the money, why did not they return it...

Deeply thank.

^^^This makes me very very sad. Sad

Most of us assume the money is gone jcga.  Or tied up in legal procedures.
5729  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: March 19, 2014, 04:25:03 AM
late reg will just make tourneys re-entries for the multi accounters

I brought this up a while back.  There cant be both late entry and anonymous multi accounts allowed.  It's impossible to have late entry not be virtual rebuys for multiple accounts.

you make the news now pietila  Grin

Pretty amazing that it went for 15x it's last sale price this time!  It was a bitcoin like investment! But now this will be about a class 1.5 supernode as well as a Bitcoin retreat.  I find it amazing!  Can't wait to see it fully renovated!

http://newsbtc.com/2014/03/18/u-s-treasury-official-warns-bitcoin-exchanges-registered-fincen/

This is the US treasuring firing a shot across the bow of a few big exchanges that do business without FinCen registrations.  This could have very negative impacts on the bitcoin economy until we see legit and regulated exchanges opening to offer those services to the people who would use them.  Bitcoin does not need legit exchanges to operate, but it does need them to bridge mass adoption.  Legit exchanges are a big part of overall adoption.

Also...

For even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

I guess breaking through every wall in the 600s so that there is a vacated order book, and touching into a negative MACD was a somehow a bullish thing, and now people want to buy.

I see the path of greatest pain is still evident.
5733  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: March 18, 2014, 02:08:24 PM
Bitcoin is struggling with 600. To me, it looks like it can turn to a real decline, a "mini-capitulation". Out of my hat, the target is about 530.

There is no point in selling at this juncture if you know the trendline model and the economic adoption growth. But they are real sales that are pushing the price down, and not even that large. If there are no buyers, it will continue until we find a new level.

Too much uncertainty to trade.

The volume is in China.  And it is not only the Chinese selling there...  there are large buyers taking advantage of the one sided risk of feeding the Chinese exchanges.

easiest way to deal with ratholers is to increase min buyin to 50bbs

I think you confuse "ratholers" with "shortstackers".

Hi, just wanted to drop a note. I came back from Estonia, where I had blissfully been in communications blackout. (It is so relaxing that I thought it would be a nice feature to not have wifi in Malla at all Wink )

We made some real progress with all the plans but I don't want to share the details here. There is another forum for that, and we are thinking to open a Malla website - or of course we will have a website, but there is a difference whether it is a hotel frontend or a community portal.

You should rename the thread to Quality Malla Observer

He would... but there's another forum for that too.

OT..  right now big players are quietly buying into fear based selling pressure from the holders who are letting go.

2 firsts we're waiting for some news from gox

1 goose is cooked.  Has been.  Will be.  Over.
2 news will be slow to come.  Its in legal government zone now.  Slooooooow.

You are waiting for something not coming.

{Edit} ah now I see someone more correctly interpreted your post as " in the past we were waiting for news". That makes more sense.
5740  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: March 15, 2014, 05:08:17 PM
how come the first graph already shows data from March 2015 Huh

7d as in LAST SEVEN DAYS shows data for March 9th, 2014 to March 15th, 2014 right now.

Are you even trying? Do you even lift?

You may want to consider alternatives to investing in anything yourself..  such as perhaps giving power of attorney to someone else. Your waifu, perhaps?

Lol at use of waifu.

Thing is he was right.  Your chart goes to march 2015.  Its a "taipofu".
