5721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: November 03, 2016, 04:48:27 AM

I disagree. Parents should have the responsibility to know what their kids are doing. Although it's true that gambling is accessible now to most people even kids with online gambling, parents should be able to inform or educate their kids about how to handle gambling and it's effects.

Indeed, parents should monitor what their kids are doing online. Not only gambling is proliferating online but also pornography, violent games, videos etc. Its better to block these sites and have some firewall and check their browser history. Also,if they have a mobile phone, you can check that also, and it is a good policy to them that you must know their password.  Grin
But restricting them into such sites will make them wonder and have curiosity over the said sites, in which your kids will ask their fellow kids in which is worst then being explained by parents. A parents explanation over the thing can be more helpful for the youth as they always will listen to them. But it is also inevitable that only time will tell when they will visit or experience those sites.
5722  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 03, 2016, 02:58:31 AM
I would say that both are important, if you ask me. Investing you will have chances to increase your capital, and could gain experience in the market. Having savings you will have a better life and be able to deal with situations where you need that.

Since we are in bitcoin industry, both of this choices applies to one activity and that is by holding. And it is good that if you just want to save but at the same time you have investment with those savings, you can just do it alone by holding bitcoins. Because as you save and waits for the price increase, the possibility of getting profit is high.
This is our opportunity to make money or if possible to be rich as we are here in the early stage of bitcoin, there's more room to grow for bitcoin here therefore we should learn how to take the risk. Instead of just spending our bitcoin, we should also learn how to invest and by holding our bitcoins in a longer period of time, it will already give us a guarantee once success will continue and it will grow into a substantial amount.
Investing your money and saving it later won't be enough to make you rich, as you did not take any risk on your investment. If you want to get out of the rat race. But if you are lucky there are certain types of investment that can really make you rich all you need is a careful study about it and time for it to appreciate. But keep in mind don't invest your bitcoins directly as you may often fall into a scam, you can convert it to fiat and find a good amd real investment in the real world.
5723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: November 03, 2016, 12:21:54 AM
New Transfer Target of A.C. Milan is Riechedly Bazoer which is  dubbed to be the next Patrick Vieira is now good news with them, Milan having advance talks with Ajax shows that the new owners will really invest money to create a good and young team, Honestly I like Bazoer better than Memphis Depay in which I know He will be a lot more expensive than Bazoer, but having Liverpool and Aresnal in the race will make Milan have a crazy competition over signing him.
5724  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: November 03, 2016, 12:05:21 AM
If the bitcoin bank is another user like a pool or exchange with multiple sub-users and many addresses etc. no problem. if they say they have control of blockchain with their own miners then it's not bitcoin but bankcoin. like e-coin on Mr Robot TV show. (E-Corp controls it)

They would probably have control on the coins we put their if they really starts a service like this because without that they wont get anything for doing this, governments or authorities mostly do the things that can be of their profit but not for the sake of people.

The best way is renting a safe lock and putting your paper wallet there, so no one will have access to your money and at the same time will be safe because it's on a bank, well everything is about how much you have, I prefer dig a hole in my garden and bury the paper wallet there.
Your definition of bitcoin bank for some kind of "pool" must be mistaken as a pool is often used in " mutual funds" in which a fund manager handles the pool of money in which they invest it in money-market instruments, which in the Bitcoin world is other cryptocurrencies. But remember even though it is handles by a professional the chance of losing money is still there.
5725  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: November 02, 2016, 04:56:52 PM
I don't know but what will the value of that one currency be based on? Having only one currency will make all the countries be affected economically as one country collapse the value of it will follow. Also having that kind of system will allow the inevitable for counterfeiters to do business as it only has one target. Different countries have different currencies as the value of the currency reflects to the economy of a country.
5726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This School Accepts Bitcoin ! on: November 02, 2016, 04:04:23 PM
Keep in mind they use the word "school fees" which can be related to miscellaneous fees not to the word "tuition fees". With that I can understand as handling misc fees with Bitcoin which is a lot cheaper than a tuition fee is good as this school anticipated the fluctuations it can do. But its os cool to see an international school accept bitcoin as a mode of payment. Hoping to see more.
5727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: November 02, 2016, 02:41:52 PM
Any form of Sports Betting is gambling. Even though you based on your bets too which side favors you to win, there is still a chance you will lose. For example even if you favored a team which has a "-#" on to it because it  is strong, the weaker team might still surprise you with a win even without the odds on it. Just like in any gambling which you thought the odds are in your favor, there is still a chance of you still losing.
5728  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: November 02, 2016, 02:00:16 PM
There are other ways to support Bitcoin besides spending it, It's price won't go up if the only factor for it is by spending it. I support bitcoin by storing it in my Bitcoin Wallet and if the price is right I will convert it to Fiat via Bank Deposit that is available with my wallet. Also the demand for Bitcoin will be the main factor for businesses to take notice and accept Bitcoin later on. If they accepted it as a mode of payment then we will see a lot of people who will use Bitcoin directly.
5729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: November 02, 2016, 12:51:57 PM
I don't think the government can even track your transactions, they can't even associate you with a bitcoin address. Also it is impossible for you to be tax with owning a bitcoin if it is not properly regulated in your country. And even I don't think that a government will take the time of tracking all the transaction you have with your address as millions of transactions happen per day. Also you don't know if that bitcoin sent to you is a way of earning or just by your relatives or love ones sending money which is not a form of income.
5730  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: November 02, 2016, 12:19:28 PM
However internet advertising of bitcoin can help local business if and only if they are themselves willing to accept it - which I am afraid from my own personal experience, not.
You cannot say that local businesses will not prefer adopt bitcoins. There are reasons why they are now willing and not willing to do so for now maybe one simple reason must be they know little or nothing about bitcoin. But, as time goes on, it will get to a time that most of those businesses will be begging you to pay them through bitcoin. I am sure those magic times will come in real soon.
As  we all expecting that the trend will go up and the public market will buy the service we know bitcoin will keep on rising and investors will keep coming to ride.
Our Local Wallet for Bitcoins actually encourage us users to pay our bills using their wallets payment system, in which several of our utility bills accept bitcoin. They even add rebates if we choose to pay our bills with them. Having that said many companies now accept bitcoin as payment or if I am right the local wallet we have use bitcoin and convert it to fiat in which they pay for the company. Time will tell if Local Businesses accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment for them.
5731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: November 02, 2016, 11:54:37 AM
The Timberwolves did great today, having their Revenge with the Grizzlies on the Target Center surely is a great way to have a Home Opener. Also on the 3rd game I saw some improvements on how they handles the 2nd Half at which they never put any chances of sleeping or being comfortable with the lead. I hope it continues like that especially seeing the Bench be active on the game which shows even the bench can have productive minutes with the team.
5732  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin, Gold and USD on: October 31, 2016, 06:09:17 PM
If I would pick one among the three, I would pick Gold. Gold is not only a form of commodity or currency it is also a kind of Jewelry in which will make people want it more. If they do have the same price I would see Gold will be the first one to appreciate in which Bitcoin would be 2nd and Dollar will just stay on its normal price. Also Gold can really be more valuable when it is stable.
5733  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: October 31, 2016, 05:16:25 PM
If I must be honest, I do not think that the bitcoin will be used by everyone in 2022, we cannot also not predict this either but its just something that I do not see happening these days.
The bitcoin has a great future a head of course but I do not think that other currency's will me less more used.

Its not about other currencies, nor it is about governments & all, but still it does not seem to be possible that the whole world would use bitcoin by 2022, we can even does not predict if bitcoin would become more popular in physical world by then because these things are mostly unpredictable.
Well Bitcoin's Demand and Legality is a big factor for us to consider if Bitcoin will ever be use not replace Fiat. Also Bitcoin's transaction takes too long to confirm in which making business slow, Every minute of a businessmen is important to them. The demand of bitcoin depends on how it will be popular to new and upcoming users because they are the ones who will trigger people into trying bitcoin.
5734  Economy / Economics / Re: You are not successful Bitcoin, but you can get passive income with other way on: October 31, 2016, 03:53:34 PM
I don't know if that is considered Passive as you are selling T-shirts, in which "Selling" Involves a lot of transactions such as receiving payments and handling shipments. Also a Passive income is about earning money without almost managing it, for example rents from your apartments, cars, and other businesses that pay you for the use of your property. Also to consider it a passive income it must not serve as a distraction for your main work as it requires less management.
5735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: October 31, 2016, 02:14:44 PM
It depends on where did you buy. What I mean is what price did you get it, obviously if you buy anything at the highest price your are mostly gonna lose money in your end, But when you buy near support of anything, you just provided yourself with a margin of safety in your investment also that margin can give you the key to maximize profit, also mostly anything bought near support will most likely give a gain than loss.
5736  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: October 31, 2016, 12:45:14 PM
As flawed as the fiat is, bitcoin cannot replace what it does right now. Unless governments all over adopts bitcoin, which is highly unlikely to happen. And if by a small chance that happens, bitcoin as we know it would be a totally different thing.

Exactly, and the first thing would happen if it is adopted by a government would be the control, it is currently not in control of any authority and all of us are anonymous, but if the government of a country adopts it they would probably like to have control on the transactions or things the people doing in the country.
Yeah you're right. It may happen in the future, although i think not in the near future. And there would be a lot of changes so that governments and powerful people can manipulate it. And people are already so used to using fiat i don't think it would be easy to make them believe in btc
Well, if that's how positive you are then I would respect that. However, that would be hard to see it will happen. It's like betting the 99% of people by 1%. What I am talking is, we are just a small community where users are only estimated to be 1% of the total population, and how can be beat the 99% and replace them?
How can a currency limited only to 21,000,000 be allowed to replace Fiat Money? Think of what will happen, think of the inequality, and how it is advantageous to people who already are hoarding Bitcoins be. Also we can't rely on only Satoshis for a living we all need at least one whole of it. I am confident that the government even the future won't even think using Bitcoin as the main money of the world or even any country.
5737  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 30, 2016, 07:57:08 PM
I am just saving, trading my coins and repeating the same process one by one to grow my bitcoins.
My dream is that as soon as the price reaches $10,000, I must have at least $100,000 with me with like BTC10.
You are a bit optimistic with your Bitcoin price as. Because you are aiming for a price of 1 BTC is equal to 10,000$ each which is a bit of impossible as proces right now are a bit low compared to your expectations. But yes if you did trading with 10 BTC your 100,000$ target is achievable but dangerous to do.
5738  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 30, 2016, 01:27:31 PM
I am not in favor of the idea. Due to many reasons. Like how it is limited, Bitcoin that can be circulated virtually is up to 21,000,000 which at first is big but all of us 7 Billion plus sharing it would not be enough to be considered as a global currency. Also another big thing is the lack of internet for some people in which Bitcoin transactions takes place. We must also consider that confirmation of transactions is long, the shortest I had is 45 minutes which is long if you are buying something from a store.
5739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: October 30, 2016, 11:37:35 AM
Seeing the Wolves loss again makes me hurt, More of it because they Loss 2 straight close games. There is the problem of being comfortable with a lead as they lack performance in the 2nd Half. But what I can say is that Andrew Wiggins had a great performance, my favorite part was when he slice and drive through the defenders and made a dunk finish. I can say that just by 2 games Wiggins is getting better.
5740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: October 30, 2016, 09:36:46 AM
I have nothing to differ when it is to suggest one of from these two. It is off course investing which is far more better by all means whether it is comparison of risk or chances of making money than gambling. If you are sure anyhow you want to get through gambling some profit then invest in good casino and forget about it for some period. Keep contacting also can lead you to gamble as well.
Yes Investing is probably better than Gambling. As if you lose in gambling there is no chance of getting back your money, but in Investing even if the makrte value that you are buying decreases it is a good sign to buy more at a cheaper price and what you are incurring now is only paper loss which to investors is nothing. For me Investors have a great advantage to Gamblers.
