Bitcoin has no consumer protection, eBay and Paypal are very big on consumer protection, it makes since sellers cannot use bitcoin as a payment method on their platform. They also do not permit cash and bunch of other payment methods, this something isn't new... http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/accepted-payments-policy.htmlYeah it would really suck if eBay cut & ran with all the users BTC like Silk Road 2.0 so I guess it's a good thing they have Visa and MC to watch over them.

eBay should get an escrow and go from there. Not hard...
And who would pay that escrow? Since bitcoin only try to secure the seller and not the buyer they need to do a lot of extra work they dont need to think about with other payment metodes. if they can attract a new users base with the bitcoin payment then the profit which will result from it, can pay the escrow, the point it that the users base of bitcoin is so tiny and they know that Not only are the usebase low but there are just 4,5 million bitcoins in circulation. Compare that to the currencys they deal in everyday and you see how little and isignificant bitcoin is for them and other big global companies. Thanks for the input new guys, fresh input is always welcome here.

On Tuesday, Andy Shroder posted on Reddit that eBay Inc. had removed his merchant listing because he accepted bitcoin for his products. Please understand that you mentioned you accept ‘Bitcoin’ as a method of payment. Some online payment companies are fairly new and inexperienced and they do not provide sufficient fraud protection to members. When we review payment methods to determine whether they are allowed on eBay, two key factors that we consider are ‘Security and Safety’ and ‘Ease of use.’ Please do not offer this payment method.
So, 'Hard of use' payment processor is guaranteed for the 'security and safety' and make all customer is comfortable ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) eBay must consider this, again. In 2013 It’s a new disruptive technology, so, yeah, we’re looking at bitcoin closely. There may be ways to enable it inside PayPal.
![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Your thought? Source: http://cointelegraph.com/news/114875/ebay-forbids-bitcoin-for-payments-removes-merchant-listing1. Bitcoin is secured by the most powerful computing network on Earth with with unbreakable encryption making it the safest way to send money. 2. QR coded BTC addresses make sending Bitcoin as simple as point and click.

I have 43 pages of messages, 99% of them are deleted posts from the Black Arrow thread in attempt to whitewash their scam.
Fuck you Alex Sovu, drop dead you scumbag!

61 days, 21 hours logged since I joined to post to the Black Arrow thread to complain about my order being delayed for 2 months. BA has since extended the delay to over a year and a half. The miner is absolutely worthless now and I'm still waiting...
Fuck you Alex Sovu, I hope you get shot.

Abandoning the Fed could be seen as an act of secession
Yeah after further reading and a little bit of noggin tickin' it looks like Texas just told the feds to go jump in a lake and singed it into law. The response appears to be a massive military "exercise" now underway. I hope they realize Texas is more than just a polygamist commune lead by a guy who claims to be Jesus Christ.

this won't last long .. the Fed won't stand for it
The 'Fed' (I assume you mean Federal Reserve) has power, but not as much power as some people think. Not enough people benefit from the actions of the elite, and that even includes ordinary congress people. "Where has he acquired enough eyes to spy upon you, if you do not provide them yourselves? How can he have so many arms to beat you with, if he does not borrow them from you?" -Étienne de La Boétie P.S. You are a dirty scammer Moriarty. Yeah I like how our flithy downtown east-side scammer jumps in poo-poo this, smoke another rock Moriarty. P.S. Kudos to Texas!

I'm still not wealthy or elite, I'm starting to think the OP is a troll.
Did you not get in your notbatmobile way-back-machine and buy some 2010-2011 bitcoin? No, the batmobile lost a wheel and the joker got away.

I just visited the bank... denied until Monday. ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) Global adoption can't happen soon enough, what a crock of shit this fiat banking system is. What happened exactly? There's a reason there is a sarcastic saying that implies people don't work much, it's called "working banker's hours." Global adoption of Bitcoin will be great but I think the fiat system needs to remain for Bitcoin to flourish. If the fiat system disappears the Bitcoin system will be completely exposed to manipulation (as we've seen with fiat.) What happened? I took a cheque I received to a branch of the bank that issued it and they refused to cash it until Monday. Aren't you able to deposit the cheque at the ATM? ATM's are 24 hours and I usually do my deposits on the rare occasion that I receive a cheque. No. What country do you live in if you don't mind me asking? And is that how banks in general work where you are or just your particular bank? Get your money instantly, spendable in about 10 minutes, that's how Bitcoin works. No waiting days or weeks, no lineups, no fishy smelling tellers, no clunky ATMs. Bitcoin doesn't care what country you're in.

lol, give it a try if Joincoin is in fact using Core =* could be mucking up the works. Try deleting it or changing it to =::/0
|
|
|
I missed the fact the .conf file was posted, doh.
Ok, one more try...
Is Joincoin based on Bitcoin-Core?
I see 'rpcconnect=*' and 'rpcallowip=*' I recall something about this no longer being allowed syntax... let me see...
Change to 'rpcconnect=::/0' and 'rpcallowip=::/0' and see what happens. Also if you're using wild cards like that all those additional addresses are redundant.

Hi tnx ppl for fast response but this problem is not because --max-conns 8 --outgoing-conns 4 It is the same without it. Also reset does not help. This must be something else related to this specific coin because I have no problems running other coins p2pool. Also p2protocol version changed to VERSION = 1004 Because that's what getinfo reports Oh, that's p2pools max connections, way to make me look foolish. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Your bitcoind must have its connections limited in a similar fashion. Delete 'maxconnections=8' from bitcoin.conf or increase the number of allowable connections. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FY9F6jrS.jpg&t=663&c=RGXFn2hRRoQaiA) If that doesn't work then it's proof positive that I am in fact a fool.

You've limited your connections to 8 and like the message says all slots are being used. Either remove '--max-conns 8' and '--outgoing-conns 4' or increase the number of connections you're allowing.
