5741  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: July 14, 2016, 04:32:17 AM
Who needs a system that be able to managed by everyone? Most people wants freedom when it comes to their own money. And by that it means if people know that there's an existing currency(bitcoin) that makes their money avoid being under surveillance. I am sure they will use it to have safetiness with their money.

It's not the point. We are talking about future of paper money here. Bitcoin can never be matched what paper money can do. And why such thinking of an idea of removing the paper money to give way for bitcoin? It's a dumb thing to think. Bitcoin is nothing without an internet so how can it deal for the usual transactions that paper money is involved??

Very rightly said, and the major point is how can we expect illiterate and poor people to start using bitcoin, they will only use that is easy and comfortable for them, and the answer is paper money.

And that's another one. We all know that internet can't hug all the places in the globe so it will have the same scenario when using bitcoin. There are lots of places that still don't have a quiet good development and still have that poor status even we count for many years.

Yeah and there will be many people who will prefer to stay away from internet and online thing, as many of them have mentality that everything on internet is a scam.

Yeah the truth that there are still rural places which havent been reached by technology. Every country have one of this places. It is like a province. Before reaching an ATM machine or some low class mall you need to travel many kilometers. So it is always a hard time for them. Still paper money is used for transaction for small shops.
5742  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 14, 2016, 04:24:06 AM
Well, i have both bitcoin and cash. I have cash because i always use it for my daily things and i have bitcoin because it's more worth when you are not use your cash (idle cash).
Bitcoin for me is more like an investment because I earn profit using it and the profit I earn will be converted in to cash to buy some stuffs to pay off my hard work.

Great. Many of us just idle it in their wallets. But you as one of the user will have a good impact in it. Using it also for smartphone loads and gaming. Gamers buy in me now for they know I am a trusted seller.
5743  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 13, 2016, 02:06:52 PM
because we can use bitcoin as cash, and we can send our bitcoin very simple, and we can withdraw our bitcoin instanly...

Bitcoin as cash is the hard part. Still retail store have not accepted bitcoin as a means of paying up their items. But I would really love to see it in the future. Many have opened but not one in our side of the world.  Grin
5744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is big problem in using of bitcoin on: July 13, 2016, 01:28:01 PM
the price fluctuates i think it`s not so good ... Embarrassed
for some people it is an advantage: D. including bai traders who want bitcoin prices constantly fluctuate. for me the biggest problem bitcoin is a long delivery time. need some confirmation to declare bitcoin sent.
Well you're right, quite a long confirmation is a problem that can all bitcoin users. but the problem I often encounter is, so many new businesses are always promising a huge advantage, and this is very dangerous for beginners who are just learning looking bitcoin. if I think, I also had several times following their talk

If you got hooked to those promising ones then it might be a problem when you joined them. I see a lot of that in some facebook group and pages which I added that I thought will help me for more information but it end up to the wrong one.
5745  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: July 13, 2016, 09:50:30 AM
I'm currently not buying any bitcoin since I have very little money to do so.  In the future I plan on it and I have to research what is the best reliable exchange to do so.

I believe it to be a good investment because there's a limited supply and it's like gold. It can only trend upwards over the long term.

Well you are doing a good plan. But do not be late in making a choice. For the price of it waves too much sometimes specially now that we are still waiting for the increase in it price since halving happen. It did rise for  $30 dollars now. So it is really unpredictable.
5746  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: July 13, 2016, 09:09:15 AM
It can if everyone starts getting paid in bitcoin.

Then there would be no need for fiat at all.

If that happens then there would be no government needed right? Remember that no one is controlling bitcoin. Rich people who can buy a lot of it will be the one controlling its market in buying and selling waves.
5747  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: July 13, 2016, 08:45:02 AM
If USD is so weak right now, and it is, I'm starting to be very bullish on BTC real value. This could be epic guys simply because Bitcoin is indipendent from all the crap that is out there in the financial world.

Be wise, inform and hold on.

Yeah and it is not connected to anything. So a sink of price from others wont affect bitcoin. But could there be a moment where US dollar want to drag everything down with it?
5748  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: July 13, 2016, 08:29:19 AM
i think at this moment bitcoin has become the 1st international currency in online world. because i found the merchand growing everyday, and now it's very easy to spend our bitcoin

You see that in your country? I dont see one in ours yet. I think businessmen are thinking so much about it and how they will profit out of it. Maybe there are too much risk that is why they cant start yet.
5749  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: July 12, 2016, 02:06:33 PM
I think the best investment will be that you start your own business, as in that you will be the boss of your investment and you will care your investment and with that you will make your business more successful.
interesting to see someone for wanting a business but the problem is. What do you want to create a business or business what would you run? make sure you have the potential and profitable business

Correct. Just look first. There are not that many businesses that offers to accept bitcoin. Why is that? The fluctuation is really a great deal. It is like a gamble also. You might get it big or may lost it all.
5750  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: July 12, 2016, 01:07:45 PM
I do spend coins on real life with BTC debit/credit cards.
wow how much the btc debit card? i want to have that too and also i want to use it for shopping but in my country there is no shop accepting bitcoin as mode of payment but im hoping in the future they even accept bitcoin in their shop.

I think the other services here are giving free debit cards. I just read it for a while but didn't understand it. I dont know if it is available but you could check that section. They do send to other countries I think but it will take some time.
5751  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2016, 12:22:17 PM
Easy investment is really the answer here. For there are a lot of country where you need some files and documents to just invest money. Example is a bank. They would need all the information and some ID's. Here you just create a wallet account then buy some bitcoin. Simple as that. No hassle.

Did I just sounded like a commercial from television?  Grin
5752  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: July 12, 2016, 11:05:57 AM
Bitcoin is not widely used in my country nor even known. There is really not much option rather using bitcoin for online payments. I do use bitcoin daily for buying my Mobile load. Other than that, I have to convert bitcoin to fiat to be able to make use of it for my daily expenses.
In my country it is not that known so you cannot use them to pay at the stores where I am from which is a let down because it would be handy.
Now it does help me to save them because they are worth allot of money so it is somewhat a waist to spend them.

And one more good thing about it is you cant just spend it easily. It will be like a real piggy bank to you where you are putting more money everyday and not even using it because there is nowhere to use it.
5753  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: July 12, 2016, 10:58:25 AM
Bitcoin is already an international currency, but only in the internet.
We wont see it change to really "international currency" but im sure the online shopping
will be done by bitcoins after some years, maybe 10 or something.
I don't see how. Btc is not recognized by states and will never be.
It's just not possible because it would destroy current fiat system.
yeah fiat will always win against anyone because fiat in backing by government but bitcoin goal is not to take over the position of fiat but it is an option not a bad thing. the important thing is bitcoin received in almost all countries that fact because I could see the users of various countries in bitcoin

I have never said that bitcoin can actually erase the fiat currency.
I was just meaning that bitcoin is so comfortable in paying online, that it might be more used across the world in paying online,
than any other currency.
yeah bitcoin stands first in the world of cryptocurrencies, it is not supported by the government of most of the countries. it is really hard to overcome fiat system which is established as money by government regulation.
We need to achieve a huge adoption before we can be considered as a strong currency and when that happens the government cannot do any bad thing with a huge volume of supporters because we will beat them for sure.

There will be a law for that. If this is an international matter then maybe the world bank will deal with this also or the UN if it should be legalize in terms that they may control it or will just leave it as it is.
5754  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 12, 2016, 08:28:23 AM
As more bitcoin is spent, more bitcoin will be in circulation. More btc in circulation means the market will systematically set itself based on the demand of consumer goods and services.

More bitcoin usage mean more value of bitcoin. yes. if people prefer to use bitcoin daily, weekly and monthly bases then bitcoin value will increase obviously. and it will be good for bitcoin and bitcoin users too.

As more bitcoin is spent, more bitcoin will be in circulation. More btc in circulation means the market will systematically set itself based on the demand of consumer goods and services.
Yeah but we will see also that the price is more stable, because more people will sell and buy
bitcoin,so that will affect liquidity of bitcoin also.
I hope more and more people will spend their btc actively.
Yeah more people are doing spending the demand for bitcoin also automatically enlarges it will make bitcoin prices pushed higher and the price will be high This will also help to process adoption indirectly because other traders may also receive payments with bitcoin. if the volume of bitcoin in the enlarged market

I spend some bitcoin every year to buy something computer related parts to improve my gaming experience.

That is very good action. By using the bitcoin you are encouraging the adoption of the bitcoin. It will become a currency.
bitcoin already a currency. but yes. as I said above more usage of bitcoin will increase its value and demand in market and bitcoin will grow up very fast.

Yeah and they are asking for a price increase after the halving even without spending their coins. That is just too lame they want to keep their bitcoins and let other spend for the fluctuation. That wont help.
5755  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: July 12, 2016, 08:02:46 AM
Even if the price didn't increase as much as people here as expecting I would still believe in it. There is this price of it that cannot be undone and it is creating history as of now.
5756  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 11, 2016, 02:47:10 PM
Although I do keep part of bitcoins as an investment, the times that I have used bitcoin to transact online, it’s been an absolute joy. I’ve made many purchases, such as buying my computer parts online, paying for my website hosting and even games online. Id gladly accept it as salary

Curiosity strikes. You are different to the most of the answers. So I would try to make an example. If I were to give you 1 bitcoin a month as your salary then suddenly price goes back to 500 dollars per bitcoin would you still accept it? It will not change to 1.5 bitcoin or something because that is the deal.
5757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up or down on: July 11, 2016, 02:34:40 PM
Halving happened , now we should wait for sometime to see the results .
I'm starting to think that it's going down for some reasons and I'm not sure why, but who knows really ... we just have to wait and see  . Price will take some time (Let's say couple of week , a month max)to take place because supply is still there (some miners still didn't sell what they had) etc...

I agree with that. It is taking so long for the price increase, maybe there are some reasons to this that we didnt know. The lease we could do is wait. The good thing is it is not falling so much and just playing at 630 to 650. Those are good signs for me.
5758  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 11, 2016, 01:45:34 PM
The truth is that many people believe bitcoin is a potential investment, rather than cash. If there weren't so much volatility in the price of bitcoin, most people wouldn't be so interested in it.

Bitcoin still needs more time and many things to prove, to become a form of money that the majority of people would be using for their daily transactions.

Strongly agree with that. Improvements should be made on how it will be used. But truthfully it can be illegal or not. There are no traces of any transactions within it. If someone wants to pay up in bitcoin with the guns or drugs that he bought it can be done without anyone noticing it.
5759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too slow on: July 11, 2016, 12:17:39 PM
I think we are just used from the past that is going fast. The ledger is getting longer. Actually it is still faster than any money transfer company. I would still prefer bitcoin.
5760  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: July 11, 2016, 11:45:33 AM
Gambling is NOT a good way to get rich with Bitcoin, unless you are extremely lucky. There are only a few people that got rich from gambling, and in the long run you will get bankrupt. I would just wait and try getting more and more satoshis. Soon, the price will shoot up. And "soon" doesn't mean tomorrow. I'm talking about between half an year and an year.
by gambling you cannot become rich instead you lose coins, by luck you may obtain coins but by greed you may lose them all.

That is correct. I have a friend that loses all his salary for just doing gambling. And this is just a gambling from the streets. What more if it will be a casino or something bigger. Maybe he got a lot of loan now from many people.
