5741  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk does not have official logo, right? It's a good time now to make one. on: October 24, 2019, 08:06:59 PM
I want to ask, where such logo would be used? As I understand we aren't talking about favicon. I hardly can imagine that theymos would put logo somewhere on the header of website. And I wouldn't want it, because I prefer minimalistic style. So, where else logo can be used. Only thing which comes to my head is news and social media. But don't understand me wrong, I'm not against having official Bitcointalk logo.
P.S. @iasenko, please bring back your old avatar! Maybe it looks creepy for some forum members, but I think you lost your identity without it Cheesy.
5742  Economy / Services / Re: I will pay $500 if you find a buyer on: October 24, 2019, 07:52:27 PM
IMO, I'm not sure that Bitcointalk is the best place to look for for sellers of such thing or for people who can persuade someone to buy it. I don't know what would be best place to post such offer, but I think you hardly will find potential buyers here. Anyway, good luck!
5743  Other / Meta / Re: [Achivement]Finally I am a self-made senior member! on: October 24, 2019, 07:33:37 PM
Congrats, you really deserved it! It's another proof that merit system works as intended because good posters have no problems to rank up, while spammers are struggling a lot. Offcourse, sometimes it's not fast proccess and it can took a while to rank up. But it's better later than never Cheesy.
I also need only few merits to become Sr. Member. And obviously I would like to become Legendary one day. Though these ranks don't make big difference for me, I think most of Bitcointalk members would like to achieve highest possible rank here.
5744  Other / Meta / Re: Can't delete my profile on: October 24, 2019, 07:16:19 PM
I'm sorry to tell, but you stuck here forever.
Or you can ask theymos to do that for you, but I have never seen him doing that for anyone.
There should very strong reason to ask deletion of account. OP also can ask to change to change his username to "Anonymous":
As you can see here, I only change the username to "Anonymous" on request.
But I haven't saw theymos doing it for years.
5745  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: October 24, 2019, 07:06:36 PM

Just a wild guess since I have no idea about the technical aspects in counting-systems: May it be that excluding specific boards are hard to implement to the automated counting performed through the Yobit-website?
It wouldn't be hard to implement. I've been in old Yobit campaign and I remember they didn't paid for posts made in Off-topic and local boards. So, it wouldn't bedifficult to implement, they only need to make some adjustments in their bot.
5746  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: October 23, 2019, 09:01:09 PM
tell me what's the point of waiting so much between a post when you have a limit of 10 post per day? you see the nosense here, burstposting should no be a valid reason for bunning someone
It doesn't matter that you think that burstposting is not valid reason to remove you from campaign. By joining Cryptotalk campaign you agreed to follow their rules to get paid. You break rules and you've been banned from campaign. Everything is simple and I don't know why you're complaining. If you can't follow few simple rules, better not to join signature campaigns.
5747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 23, 2019, 08:53:58 PM
Barca had very difficult game against Slavia, but managed to win. Slavia played very well. I'm following this team since previous season and I'm not that much surpised to see hoe they are playing and they are very solid opponent for big teams like Barca, Inter, Borussia. IMO, they deserved draw today, but second goal of Barca was mistake of their goalkeeper.
After Inter win situation in this group is very interesting.
Speaking about Salzburg - Zenit game, Sabitzer goal is must see thing!

I also will risk to bet on Valencia and Napoli wins. It's risky, but I see good value in these bets. Even I will win only one bet, it still would be good for me.
$$$
EDIT. F*ck, Lille just scored on additional time  Angry
5748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 23, 2019, 05:09:54 PM
Ajax - Chelsea, so far so good, it's very interesting game from first minutes. I picked draw in this game.
Other very interesting game will be Inter - Borussia. It's do or die game for Inter.
Will Barca will play against Slavia. Barca is playing good football lately, so with all respect to Slavia, I expect quite easy game.
I also will risk to bet on Valencia and Napoli wins. It's risky, but I see good value in these bets. Even I will win only one bet, it still would be good for me.
5749  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About my first loss - This might help newcomers as a learning curve on: October 22, 2019, 09:03:26 PM
I think huge number of people in crypto world had experienced something similar. If it's not secret, can you tell us at how much you bought BTC? I wouldn't call as mistake that you didn't sold during peak. Selling at loss was mistake, it wasn't wise decision. Sometimes crypto requires lot of patience. HODL'ing can took few years to get profit. Seems that you invested into crypto without much knowledge about trading and just wanted to become rich quickly. This is not how everything works unfortunately.
5750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 22, 2019, 08:52:37 PM
Not the most interesting matchday - all favorites reached wins, most of them easy ones.
Spurs won 5:0 against Crvena Zvezda, maybe it's sign of their recovery.
Juve had problems with Lokomotiv, but looking at stats seems that they dominated tonight. Same can be said about Real.
Olympiakos - Bayern and Shakhtar - Dinamo games were interesting to watch and we saw many goals scored there.
5751  Other / Meta / Re: Some good users awakened by Yobit on: October 22, 2019, 08:17:31 PM
I see some good members in Cryptotalk campaign. But when there are so many spammers with Cryptotalk signature, these good members just become less visible. I noticed that sometimes I just skip posts written by Cryptotalk participants and no matter who exactly wrote it, I just have feeling that there won't be anything wortwhile to read.
I don't want to talk about these users, but more in general - if member was inactive before Cryptotalk campaign, probably it means that they are here just for money because they aren't motivated to post without paid signature. But hell, if they are good members of community and making contributions, I don't care about it.
5752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 21, 2019, 08:50:48 PM
In all Tuesday games there is obvious favorites on paper. But how about Spurs - Crvena Zvezda game? It's very difficult period for Spurs, they are playing terrible. Does anyone thinks that upset is possible there?
What are your thoughts about Dinamo chances against Shakhtar? I think that this match can show Dinamo if they can fight for the second with Shakhtar or only for the third place with Atalanta. Don't get me wrong, I think that any place which leads to more international games is great!
Shakhtar are obvious favorites, they will play at home and I don't see much chances for Dinamo to win. I think even draw wouldn't be bad score for Dinamo.
5753  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Warning ! Bittrex shutting down in 31 countries. Withdraw your funds. on: October 21, 2019, 07:29:28 PM
Bittrex is moving to Liechtenstein, so these news are probably related with it. They had to do it to follow regulations of country. Most of these countries is under sanctions and it's main reason of ban. And I think that these countries isn't very significant markets for Bittrex, so these bans won't hurt them much.
@Artemis3, I wouldn't call this as discrimination. It's just business without any emotions.
5754  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My account seems to be captured or broken. on: October 21, 2019, 07:13:26 PM
Can you sign a message from one of these addresses posted above? I know that it was posted long time ago, but maybe you still have access to these addresses? Because it's only way to prove that you're original owner of account. If you can't, I'm sorry to say, but there is no chance to recover account.
For account recovery procedure check this topic:

5755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: October 21, 2019, 06:30:28 PM
@hilariousetc, you're from UK, right? If yes, you should go with Sky and BT Sports, it's only legal way to watch EPL in UK. But as I understand, they don't show 3PM and some other games.
You might check this article:
https://www.reviewsfire.com/tech/how-to-watch-3pm-kick-offs-uk/
It's suggests to use Fubo.TV, but you'll need VPN.
Personally, I'm relying on IPTV usually and I can't complain about quality or things like buffering.

Today I'm backing Arsenal, but don't expect easy win. I also have 1:2 on Superbru.
5756  Other / Meta / Re: Why don't you stop SPAMMERS yourself, admins? #RaiseYourVoice on: October 21, 2019, 06:17:18 PM
I think your idea looks a bit complicated and you're trying to invent a bike. I know about what kind of users you're talking about, but in general they aren't breaking forum rules. If you see them spamming, just use report button and mods will delete their posts. Banning users from specific board will mean that spammers just would move somewhere else. Maybe it would be better idea to disable signature of user if significant number of his posts were deleted?
I guess moderators have the power to ban any user from posting on any board.
Few days ago, Franky1 was banned from posting on "Development & Technical Discussion" board.

Here is the proof
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5192937.0
This is new thing for me. Is it exclusive case, or there was more users who were banned from specific boards in past?
5757  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Campaigns causing lifeless posts in Gambling section on: October 21, 2019, 05:47:52 PM
I think that @bL4nkcode have nailed one of the main issue - signature campaigns that requires to make x number of posts in specific boards like gambling. I'm not talking about this user particulary, but I often see people who aren't interested in gambling and don't have knowledge about it posting rubbish there. They are "forced" to do it if they want to get paid. Managers should check where user is posting usually before accepting him to campaign. And I know that best managers like DarkStar, yahoo, Hhampuz are doing it.
Another problem is users who post generic stuff everywhere. It's not that big problem as it was some time ago, but we still can see some spammers accepted to campaigns.
@hd49728, just turn off autocorrect or predictive text on your phone. Voila, issue solved.

5760  Other / Meta / Re: unable to understand the stats on: October 20, 2019, 07:42:57 PM

It’s very convenient for me to watch forum statistics using the service https://bpip.org/ Here I find all the data that interests me. Try using it to study Bitcointalk statistics.

[/quote]
I agree with you, I love BPIP website and I check it often. But unfortunately in recent weeks Merit stats isn't updated here. Anyway, there is good alternative for it - DdmrDdmr Merit dashboard.
I might've figured it out. A bunch of things are currently disabled; I'll work on safely enabling them in the coming days.
Well, these few days lasts almost 2 years :/. There was some interesting stats to check, but in general it's not very important thing.
