5741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will no longer do bounty campaigns in anything other than BTC or ETH on: June 15, 2018, 07:34:28 PM
Sign here if you will also agree to boycott all bounty campaigns that do not pay in BTC or ETH.
Seems like you do have a very non pleasant experience with bounties which it turns out you curse not to join up anymore and do bounties. Boycott? I dont know what you are trying to be done on here because i do believe 98% would still go with the flow on doing bounties. Doing task for earning tokens and might earn money isnt really easy to let go specially for those people who dont have much capacity to make investment with their own money.
5742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs. "leveraged" trading on: June 15, 2018, 06:55:25 PM
once I was trying to use leveraged trading in bitmex and I can make a good profit. I think it's not the same as a gamble because if we can buy at the low price and the price is increased, you don't have to close that leveraged trading but you can just let it make the profit for you. and I don't think that if we trade using the leverage it is considered as a gamble too. it depends on what price you buy the coins.

I remember that I can buy bitcoin at the lower price at $3xxx and it's still run until now. and makes a profit for me. although the price is up and down, I still make a profit and I don't want to close it right now.
This is an another case which you do able to purchase bitcoin on 3k range which no matter which angle you would really able to have profits considering on the price we are into now.I cant blame OP do see Leveraged trading is comparable to gambling. Even myself do have that kind of perception or view too towards it. Gamble if you dont know on what you are doing but if its always based up with some analysis then it cant be considered as one.
5743  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Cloud Mining with HashFlare on: June 15, 2018, 06:06:39 PM
~snip~

Is there a reason you're advertising what looks like a blatant ponzi in your signature?

Looks a lot like the promises of other sites like terabox dot me for example.

Since it looks like he is aware on how cloud mining ponzi works I would assume he is the owner/developer of the ponzi cloudmining in his signature. Hashflare looks more legit than the website on his signature offering such bonuses which most scam cloud mining that dont last for long offers
LOL Hashflare just went dead and no profits, and you call it more legit, I still get payouts from Genesis, but not Hasflare, other services that charge less maintenance fees is still alive, But Hasflare the legit one, steals the customers profit and leaves them in the ditch. Legit my ass. I have not lost any money in HF so far since i have gotten my investment back, so instead i get my profit in an unspoken service that trippled my investment in 6 months, all while HF steals away.

Trippled investment on 6 months timeframe? Then this is possible on obvious ponzi schemes like hashocean did but for genesis and Hashflare even on 1 year contract you wont really be profitable but now comparing these two long operating cloud mining sites they are showing off difference inspite on having the same field when i comes to cloud mining. Shorten contracts but differ on maintenance fees and others. Good for you that you do able to ROI but for those who are just new then they are all fucked up.
5744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How trustworthy are ico rating sites? on: June 15, 2018, 05:34:12 PM
I will strongly recommend you not to believe all those ratings on any ICO site , just use them for reference for upcoming ICOs . some sites have same members who rate high even to low profile projects .
I am not saying you to even dont read , you can read review but also do check all the things about project yourself . collect as much info as you can gain .

i agree because not all reviews that we can find on the net are real,  most of them are just a shill or paid/fake review. Much better if we can always check the ico details ourself so that we can be sure if that ico is really legit.

i also notice that there are so many ico rating and ico related services nowadays scattering around the web , these factors can also add to our confusion . I suggest click only on the first page results of google because that is the most reliable source among others.
Ive remembered that i do only make use of Icorating and Icobench and now there are lots of popping out like mushrooms because ico investment is becoming a trend which means investors can really seek out or surf to those sites for finding informations. Even since from the start i dont already have trust into those informations given by them. Manipulation or deception is possible because anything can really be bought for the sake of false advertisement for fraud projects.
5745  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-13] Last Year’s Record-Breaking Bitcoin Price Was Actually A Fraud on: June 15, 2018, 05:03:56 PM
I don't see many wanting to sell bitcoins for $ 6000. Price reduction is the same manipulation only with a minus sign. On each exchange we see a large number of offers for sale but we do not know how many of them are fictitious. The cryptocurrency market has no regulations and therefore speculators feel like a fish in the water.

It's almost safe to say that the majority of the sales in the last months were not retailers selling their coins, but very large holders and manipulators taking the price back to levels they think the market will be able to sustain itself without artificial buy support. Very important indicator is how much they tend to respect crucial chart patterns and bottoms. Retailers in panic have zero respect for any sort of indicator or chart, they just want to dump their coins to prevent further losses.

I know certain people around me that are holding coins bought at way higher levels, they have taken the right amount of distance from this market and wait for their coins to gain value again. They acknowledge that there is no point in selling anymore, especially with how the price suddenly can start shooting up again.
For those who had already have idea on how the market moves or behaves specially with bitcoins price they would already realize that selling off  doesnt really have any point. Buying on high ranges cant really be avoided even no matter how experienced we are. We can call it a fraud into those Price peaks or ATH but even knowing such thing cant really make any difference. They can manipulate since they do hold heavier bags compared to us.
5746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 15, 2018, 03:39:06 PM

I agree with you. They have good centers already and if we see the performances of Looney and McGee this year's playoffs, they have stepped up and they contributed much in their team.

I hope they will not trade their all star caliber players for other players because they are a solid team already. Maybe they can trade some of their bench player but not the starters.

Honestly these days, teams are not relying anymore to Center position as there are players who can adopt multiple roles. Best examples are Draymond Green of Golden State Warriors. He is literally a power forward but acting as Center. Kevin Durant, for obvious role. LeBron James of Cavaliers, literally can play all roles. Kevin Love of Cavaliers too, acting as a center. Boston Celtics' Al Horford and as you see Celtics are playing without a center sometimes but still deadly on court. Other teams as well even the average ones.

Ok turning back to GSW, don't worry their starters are commited to the team for at least I think 3 to 4 seasons because other started just opened up another eligibility in their contract meaning their salary will not be their usual salary because they unlock some of the requirements. They can offer for that "if necessary". Why "if necessary", well kind long statement again so I will just end up here.
Yes there are some players who are not playing the role as centers but they are acting as a good defender in the paint. Green, Durant and James are some of thr examples.

The generation of NBA has changed already especially the Bigs. In the early days of NBA, there are few to none who can shoot threes but now you can see some bigs who can shoot threes and at the same tike playing as centers.

Its good to hear that the starters of Warriors will not change. Solid warrior fan.
Agree on what you had said but we cant really able to compare on those legends in the past. They do have significant role but not really extensive just like on what we are seeing now on some players on recent NBA which you said centers can be shooters and defenders on the same time. Depending on case to case as long they can able to shoot and defend they are really capable and thats what i like to see.
Next year season would be interesting which new rosters would really be seen.
5747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your experience with free cash bonus ? on: June 14, 2018, 06:40:33 PM
I always stay away from them, the rollover requirements are usually way to big.
They use them to lure you in, get you playing, preferably addicted and in 99% of the cases they do not lose any money from it.

You can try out games with play credits as well or if they have a faucet, you can use that.

Bonuses without rollover requirements are pretty good, but you don't see them very often.
Bonuses without any rollover requirement do usually can be seen or can be acquired when a gambling site is on launching date but same as you said its really a rare case. They are building business not a charity. They might give free money but wont be that much. Bonuses and promotions are just really being made for luring in people and as expected wager requirements are too high which most gamblers would able to fail to reach out in the end.
5748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big moneys coming on: June 14, 2018, 04:05:27 PM
The media manipulated us to hodl! “Big money’s coming” meanwhile they dump there load all over us!
Do you have a source on where are these big money's coming?

I blame the media for reporting false news that cause the community to do panic selling but about dumping, it's the whales that are doing it.
Are you joking? You haven’t heard media talking about big money (institutional money) ready to come in to the crypto market? This has been the hottest topic all year lol wtf!!!!
I have heard it but I'm asking for your source.

Telling something like this will make it reliable if you have a source to support it. It has been talked before about big money's coming in so with valid proof to add makes sense.
Dont bother to ask yet he wont really able to provide any source for sure yet the things he do said is just based on what he heard around. If big money (instutional money) would come to crypto then it would really give out positive impact to crypto but seems this thing is really hard to believe if it would possibly happen since we do know the current standing of crypto as of now. Recognition is really been hard and adoption which means even myself isnt still satisfied if its really worth to invest on.
5749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashflare mining is not giving payouts anymore? on: June 14, 2018, 03:13:18 PM
I invested 100$ in hashflare mining at the end of 2017. Soon after the bitcoin price started declining and is declining at the moment. In this situation hashflare has stopped giving payouts and says that the mining fees are higher than the payouts. Can anyone suggest what to do next? the following is exactly what they say.

"Dear users,
Because of the current market situation, with the latest spike of mining difficulty exceeding 14% (https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty), while the price of Bitcoin continues to decline, the payout was lower than the maintenance fee, which resulted in the balance not increasing and remaining the same. We are considering all possible options, while taking into account the available resources, to optimize the mining process where it is possible."

I read the same on their officiap facebook. You can do nothing, just wait what they'll decide to do and fix situation. Usually that's strategy of genesis mining to close your contract because of mining difficulty reason. To my mind they aren't scammers but if they won't be able to continue profitable mining for investors, then they have to return some invested money and give 100% back of investment - currently profited to new customers and them, who hasn't ROI-ed yet.
Didnt see a reason for them to make some refunds for those who invested. Its possible for new investors but not on the ones who didnt able to reach ROI midway. We cant really able to say they are scammers since they do had really the valid reason why they dont able to give you payout due to difficulty rise and of maintenance fee which is the cause that you dont even have the chance to gain if you had invested. Hundreds of times being said before that cloud mining arent really worth to invest at all.
5750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: eBTC: how to claim airdrop on: June 14, 2018, 02:40:08 PM
It link the first and original announcemnt of ebtc was removed?

I can find it on any platform.
Then what you are trying to find then? Its not appropriate to bump out almost a year old topic which ebtc is already gone a long time already which as far as i have remembered some people who able to claimed the airdrop did able to make some good money when this coin is being hyped up and now its just been part of the usual pump and dump scheme of devs. Leaving out lots of investors crying out.
5751  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-06-14] Positive Bitcoin Price Momentum in Late 2018 Is Still Very Much Pos on: June 14, 2018, 01:33:41 PM
Bitcoin is surely not dead. Price is still way above than the price before the December Hype.

Regarding the real expansion of cryptocurrency market which will bring a healthy price rise, according to the Thomson Reuters report, "Twenty percent of financial firms want to start buying and selling digital tokens in 2018".

Some 56 new financial firms are ready to start with offering cryptocurrencies by October this year. This is going to bring in natural and a healthy growth with the increasing demand. Many experts have predicted that price might rise above $25k after the traditional finance money jumps in cryptocurrencies which will increase the volume in the market.

I expect second half of the 2018 to be bullish and better than 2017 in terms of All Time Highs.
But most people now on crypto already complaining and do say such things that crypto would be dead this time without even basing on previous years when it comes to All time heights. They dont base or doesnt look behind thats why they do easily got discourage when bitcoins price tends to go down. Im still positive with bitcoin and having this correction arent just new on the ecosystem but this do signifies a healthy part of bitcoins development. We cant just see bitcoins price to shoot up and reach out moon on a shorter time frame thats not how it works.
5752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Total Marketcap - are cryptocurrencies realy worth that much? on: June 14, 2018, 12:56:52 PM
market cap does not show "value" although people mistakenly use it as such.

for bitcoin it may be considered a good factor to measure and compare only because bitcoin is transparent and both its supply and price are real but it is far from real when it comes to altcoins. for example ETH market cap is about 70% fake because it has nearly that much premined coins which are not real supply.
Not only that, we should include that most altcoin in the market is running of with Etherium platform and only few percentage do have its independent platform where i dont even see the value with those coins being dependent mostly on it. Smart contract is good and innovative but its being used up too much.
We cant really stop if total marketcap will go up that high i didnt even expect it would reach out hundreds of billions but well this is the trend now it even hits up on ATH on 800B.
5753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Hard Cap and Soft Cap" on: June 12, 2018, 10:24:44 PM
The two are the measurement in the token salle of an ICO.
But, the two have very different meaning. Softcap means that minimal achievement of the token that must be sold. If it doesn't meet the softcap, the ICO program may be canceled or extended. Hardcap is the maximum token supply from an ICO.

You are right and soft cap and hard cap are actually the limits that  ICO is going to operate. Soft cap is the absolute minimum they think they need for start the project and the hard cap is the maximum money they want to menage.
Simple and direct to the point explaination between two things which is actually right. Going back in the past where soft cap and hard cap arent too big for most project do launch where its easy to attain or reach the cap in no time but now they are involved or having 100's of millions of hardcap which i dont even know on where they do base that cap. There are some project do able to accumulate more than on that amount example is telegram ICO.
5754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 12, 2018, 09:42:33 PM
Coach Popovich is set to lure Lebron James. Now that is something better than Rockets. Last Finals proves that in order to beat a superteam and win a ring. You should also form a superteam that is also consistent in scoring and good in defense. If James leaves East, there's no way East can get a ring.
If Coach Pop will get Lebron in the next season then their lineup will be stronger. Lebron, Kawhi, Aldridge. They need a better playmaker if they will get Lebron.

Lets wait where will Lebron land. I think he will be the highest paid player next season like the previous season.

I was thinking about san antonio too, I would love to see him play for Pop and aldridge but i just don't think it will happen.

If I had to put money on it I would say that he STAYS in cleveland...but we will see. I think his family is the biggest factor, he is also 33, he is getting old....he may just retire...who knows.
33 years old of age isnt still considered to be old and theres still lots of chances to make another world record when it comes to basketball. San antonio would be a good option but i dont see a reason why would james would stay up on cleveland unless if he do paid up contract more than he do receive wayback before. He wont probably leave the EAST next year would really be a comeback but on form of another team. Cool

I also think that he will not be leaving East next season since I think he wants to have a rematch against West, GSW to be in fact. But there are a lot of articles that are saying Lebron James might go to LA Lakers and start to build his team though I am not sure about that since as for me, two great rivals, all stars in fact brawl already on a Western Conference Finals. If I will be picking Lebron's team, I will not be putting an option on a West team.
If he will not be leaving the East, he won't become champions again.
He need some help because the warriors are building a super team, and as I see it, the only chance for him to have a good fight against the
warriors is to join good teams in the west.
Revenge wouldnt be worthy if they wont able to beat GSW if they are on the same side. It would be much better if he would stay on the East which is definitely on his mind now. The thing he might think up on having a team which will support him up. Cavs might have a new roster but would still be in question on whose gonna be replaced or added up and we wont even know if he would stays or not.
I'm not sure about that though, for him a team that will give him a better chance to earn a ring again will be his priority regardless if its East or West team. Of course, it would be better if its another East team that he will go, however, there are a lot of teams in the West as well that the can blend and let to its first championship in many years and of course its about the Benjamins. If a team in the West gives him a lucrative contract plus a say on which player he wanted to get will definitely be good for him, but again, its too early to speculate as this time.
Sure thing! If he do likes to beat up Warriors no matter which side he would go as long the teammates is sufficient for him to support on play he might consider and as usual contract offer will be the most important  Grin
Some says its not really necessary to have a superstar teammate but i would say that he would really needed it up and also a team with have a good rotation when it comes to roles and scoring.

Lots of speculations and presumptions had been made on this thread about james possible next move but no one knows on which way he would go.
5755  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: June 12, 2018, 09:14:42 PM
It's very scary. What if a legit-looking ICO had implemented KYC and then turned into a scam? They could use it to make a lot of accounts in exchanges to commit money laundering and the suspects will be us because they used our documents to verify themselves.

Good question, we are aware of new services and new ICOs and so on there are lots of new websites and exchanges that require to identify who are their customers and require the KYC documents which to be honest is very dangerous because these very sensitivity information and that can be abused.
I'm seeing in the Service board that many people are selling their KYC information or maybe they are using someone's else documents.
Everytime i do saw those kind selling out informations on service boards or marketplace i do always says on my mind that i wont definitely used up any of my information thru online because i do put up my situation on where your info been sold out into other peoples interest or usage. If its being used on illegal stuff then you identity is on risk thats why i cant blame people why they are afraid of KYC due to such reason. By legality means or regulation this is indeed need but we do need legit people or organizations that would handled up those infos without any leaks.

Ethereum Classic is up nicely on its upcoming addition to coinbase:

https://blog.coinbase.com/adding-ethereum-classic-support-to-coinbase-becb9a337e9c

While its trading on coinbase may be another month or two away but it is bullish for ETC in coming
months. Good time to get some ETC I think.

This is good move from Coinbase team. Few weeks before I have found the news says that Coinbase gonna take the ERC20 tokens in their exchanges but many people took that they wanna accept in their regular based wallet mate.

Now this ethereum classic. Since this link has been shared from their official blog we do not need to worry about that buddy.
We may find the Doge and Ripple also in the coinbase wallet.
Its really up to their decision on what would they add up but this news would probably always been positive which we can already extent to make use coinbase in terms of those selected coins into their service.Same as yours i have heard such news on adding up erc20 tokens but in my side it would be just too much if they would add up even more?

Adding Doge and Ripple? Then best or high probability would be on Ripples side because we do know whats the recent standing of this coin.

How much gas money do I need to sell tokens on exchanges?
DEX or centralized exchangers do have default settings when it comes to gas amount but if you are on a hurry you can always make an option to increase or decrease it depending on your need on how fast you do like for it to be confirmed.

Thanks for all the info guys. Appreciate it.
Seems like you do get the things or answers you do seek which its would be ideal to close up this thread to prevent further replies.
5760  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Critical week for Bitcoin on: June 11, 2018, 06:36:45 PM
It has been critical with bitcoin since the drop from last November. People are waiting for its recovery but its mid year already and bitcoin still has not increased at least to a $10k mark this month.

Lol bitcoin had never recovered from its original drop from power level 20k USD to 10k USD. It was rallying around 7k for sometime and this drop is expected after the FUD about bitcoin started in some forums for being stagnant.

I mean when do we see a time when no FUD is spread? If bitcoin rises people call it a bubble. If bitcoin drops people call it a scam and now when bitcoin was stagnant they call it an addiction and ponzi and all other BS.

We are sick and tired of people making up conspiracy theories but then that is how crypto is.
Expect those things to come out yet people do have different perceptions into things when it comes to any situation where i do really agree with you that im quite sick and tired on what they do call on Bitcoin. No matter which side or situation it do sits in, pump, dump or stationary but still people do have calls on it.If they dont like Bitcoin on the very first place because of volatile price then they should not involve themselves on crypto.
