Anybody know if they will discount the price on total order of 4 SP10 units?
Thanks
Rob
Unlikely on SP10s any more, you can email them though.

my miner stopped hashing today
ASIC STATS is empty
DCR says
DC2DC DCR inductor flag loop 0 (0xD0) = -1 i2c write 0x71 = 0x2 error2 i2c write 0x72 = 0x0 error2
Have you tried every form of restart? hey it works again, I reduced dc2dc to 57 and power to 1170 Thats strange, what clock speed were you running?

I was wondering what some options for wireless antenna are. From what I gathered, I need SMA Male and not RP-SMA Male to connect to the female connector the antminers come with but they seem really hard to find so I guess it has to be ebay?
What's the range without an antenna? Some of miners have to receive a signal through 3 walls but within 20 ft of my router. I have 3 others that can be within 10 ft of the router just right outside the room.
What are some other options beside antennas? I know they mention that adapter but not too familiar with what's good/best bang for buck.
Any help appreciated, thanks!
? You just need a standard antenna. There is a link to one in the OP. Range is about 10 feet without obstacles without one.

While I wouldn't bet on the power consumption since I don't think it's at all impossible for them to hit 0.7J/GH, I'd be more than willing to make an escrowed bet that they will not hit 20dB (2x10^-4 Pa) using standard measurement techniques (@1m). I have access to an anechoic chamber to do testing in. Anyone interested in take that one?
Do we really care though? My ambient living room is like 45dba without miners, 65 with.

Actually I like Dogie, like his reviews, like his attitude, but if anything, spamming a referral like that just doesn't do Dogie any favours really, makes him look cheap.
I must admit that he could post a small note regarding the affiliate link so that people know what they are getting into... The same way you didn't mention the commission 'in some form' for the group buy... its expected AND irrelevant. The customer gets a better service, for free, because the costs are paid by the large corporation. You don't see every site having a disclaimer next to every single advert do you? I used to, but removed them because it makes it 10x more spammy.

There is a forum guideline. 4. No referral code spam
It wasn't spam as the post was on topic and would have been posted exactly the same regardless of if the link had a tracking ID in it or not... Again, if you have a problem with this then you can post in meta.

I think my antminer s1 control board is faulty. recently upgrade the new firmware from bitmain support, wait close to 10 minutes but still, the luci interface did not pop up as usual (username and stuff to login).
tried reset using the small button, still not work. now I cannot ping or communicate to my antminer s1 since the lan port led on and off about 5 seconds interval.
any ways to revive back the control board? i think the firmware files from the bitmain was corrupted.
Did you check other IPs and other subnets?

Has anyone replaced the stock fans yet so it doesn't sound like a jet plane? Or has anyone ran the the miner without the outer casing and/or the fans and used an alternative way of cooling? I doubt opening up the case and just sticking a couple powerful floor fans on it will do the trick, no? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) One person responded with literally installing a radiator with temp gauges and all that. Thanks for that info but that's a little too much for me, and sounds just like the car "Back To The Future". I can't have that in the house. I envy the guys that have huge homes and girlfriends/wives that don't care. Lucky you! I'll be posting the prices of the two SP10's that I have for sale. I'm in NJ and prefer you (the buyer) are to. No sense in shipping. I really love these things and how they operate. They seem very stable and the UI is great. Can't beat that automated firmware upgrade. Good job Spondoolie-tech! Thanks guys, MD tldr, there are no appropriate cooling mods for this. The insane density is only possible with a negative pressure air tunnel which is what they have.

Why would a moderator remove your link and deem it to be suspicious? Sounds like an attempt to stifle competition..
Oh god the conspiracy theories.... Its automatic for newbies with unknown links.

Sneaky affiliate link, it's bad form to try to hide it with link shorteners. +1. If anyone else wants to sell their soul by spamming affiliate links that's fine. But to be a respected and supposedly non-biased hardware reviewer and do it brings your motives in to question. Post it in scam accusations, one of my threads or even meta if you really think it makes a difference. The answer is it doesn't. Regardless if there was an affiliate link or not, the information would have been identical, and again there is NO impact on anyone. The same way as Google charging companies for advertising, it makes no different to the information being provided on the page.

Sneaky affiliate link, it's bad form to try to hide it with link shorteners. Link shorteners are used to prevent spam. If I posted an update which no one found useful and never went it, it wouldn't get posted again. The affiliate link makes absolutely zero difference to the content, the description, the usefulness or the accuracy of the information.

Looks like it, if you take that and another blade to an electronics shot they should be able to solder a new one on.
|
|
|
Something weird is going on there. In the first picture only 9 blades are detected, with one faulty. In the second, 10 blades with 1 faulty. Something else is going on apart from that dodgey blade. Do you still get 9 with 9 good ones only in?

Anyone have any idea as to why my S2 is reporting zero as the BestShare?
Received the miner last night. Usual case of boards all over the place. Pulled everything out. Checked all cables. Reseated all boards. Fired it up and configured it. It's been hashing perfectly all night. Right around the 1000GH/s mark, 53C, posting shares to BTCGuild as would be expected. Just zero BestShare value. Not that I'm concerned about this. I'm getting paid for the shares I am submitting. Just curious.
Thanks!
I have the same issue (BestShare at 0), latest firmware. Been hashing fine for a week otherwise. Any clues? My 23 day uptime S2 is best share 0, its just not coded. Funny enough, my partially busted S2 shows great share=~400000 in one hour (since last reboot). Too bad it doesn't mean anything. Dogie-is it theoretically possible that one slot not hashing could be remedied by the software update? Since there is an obvious difference in how it handles best share, maybe there is a software glitch? Did you ever had a situation when asic non-hashing was fixed by the latest software update? Your slot won't get fixed, but its then likely the best share hits some sort of overflow and stops counting. So when the unit is first on its recording, then it just maxes out.

|
|
Hey dogie, you running the stock PSU on that 23 day uptime, or did you upgrade first?
Cheers.
Stock PSU, I have a big one if needs be but OC'ing appeared pointless due to the 200W for the next 100GH.
