5765  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KYC Compliance for Bitcoin on: September 19, 2018, 11:59:06 PM
Although KYC is really important for Bitcoin users but i have observed that there is no strict guidelines on how it will be implemented. Just requiring to submit an government ID's for those who did not travel is just a piece of cake for the illegal people. How can be the KYC receiver will so sure that the ID submitted are all genuine including the owners as we will just send a scan of soft copy of it? Therefore this KYC is still useless and need more improvement to fully serve its purpose.

I also don't like the idea of submitting your personal information for the sake of complying with KYC procedures. I'm even hesitant to submit it to exchanges. But the question is can KYC/AML really bring adoption that we all have been waiting for a long time? Sort of giving crypto legitimacy in the face of governments around the world? I don't think so. It can even bring more harm to us if personal data is not taken care of the party involved. Look at Shapeshift, they are not getting a lot of backlash because they are requiring crypto enthusiast to submit verifications. Not good for their business operations and at the same time, crypto lovers are not comfortable submitting their sensitive information like scan passports or government ID.
This is what I am thinking of, that time to time bitcoin (cryptos) that having KYC/AML will become legitimately to the government and the word of "decentralized" will be gone in the world of crypto, isn't? Yes, submitting personal data is very sensitive for us we afraid that maybe our information share may use others, or probably it may have a cause of a leak in hacking. I think almost exchange now having KYC/AML procedure so it really hard to avoid this thing in the crypto world.
5766  Economy / Economics / Re: We can totally eradicate poverty if we TRULY want to. on: September 19, 2018, 11:33:34 PM
There's no something wrong if you give them a little food instead of money and help poor people to have work. Most poor people did not have a regular job because they are uneducated or diligence people are always relying on governments supply budget. So, instead give them a work or a decent job to have a maintain income for their family.
I like the culture of pure Chinese they are helping each other no one greedy and selfish.
5767  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: September 19, 2018, 07:27:56 PM
That is impossible to happen, there are some countries did not accept bitcoin since it is decentralized. Probably it will happen if the decentralized crypto will have become a centralized and controlled by the government. So, it is really impossible that thing will happen people become cashless. Government always against on that cryptocurrency they did not support this, besides, they treat this as an illegal.
So, now how to become cryptocurrency replacing traditional fiat into digital currency.
5768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break from gambling on: September 19, 2018, 06:42:31 PM
Taking a break in gambling is a great decision especially when you are too much spending time on it every day.
If you can control your self at this situation that probably gambling will always come up your mind, keep your day busy in other things so that you can forget gambling for a while. We know that gambling is not an easy way to forget and taking a break is one of good practice in your self to have a minimum spend time in gambling.
5769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Increased Number of Scammers on: September 19, 2018, 06:29:48 PM
Due to the increased popularity of cryptocurrencies, there has been an increased number of scammers both in terms of ICOs and in social media. You would find "official" representatives that would "propose lucrative deals" in the name of the legit company. There is only one result as a consequence - you losing your assets.
Thus, always keep in mind that real official channels of communications work. Also, if you see those posts in social media promising returns without a legit background (a.k.a. a full-blown platform) is a sure way to lose money. Creating bots on Facebook, Twitter, and Telegram is quite easy these days. Make sure not to repeat mistakes that others made before you https://www.cryptocointrade.com/
Not to mention mining pools and app scams going on right now. Some of the Facebook groups that were excellent in terms of trading discussions now turned into scam marketing sites.

I guess we can't really avoid that, especially since the market is doing well in terms of raking in big money. It's a high-risk-high-reward type of market, and it could bring big success through profits if you choose the best coins or projects to invest in. Therefore, that new light of success would surely interest those people who have shady characters and are only in the market to find the opportunity and chance to take advantage of others. For example, how airdrops have been very notorious with these scams of stealing information from people who enroll in them, only to find out that they are not legit airdrops projects.
Scammers now are everywhere hunting noobs people just to fall their traps, very well known that very risk when you fill up their form and clicking the link of that airdrop given to claim reward but they give a phishing site. I was encountered on that situation before when I was clicking the link I know that is a phishing site.
They now totally increase when they know that the ICO projects are very profitable when it comes to investments or being bounty hunters. So, we much do research first before engaging in any project that has a promise that having a big ROI. We can avoid these possible scams if we knowledgeable and not easy to fool.
5770  Economy / Economics / Re: Asians are the most bitcoin holders in the world. on: September 19, 2018, 05:46:51 PM
Yes from my personal experience Asia is much more accepting of cryptocurrency than other countries.  Especially in Japan where a large number of citizens hold some bitcoin.

Maybe,Asians are the most bitcoin holders in the world is true.Eventhough China is against bitcoin flow and cryptocurrency. Most of the people in China had involved in trading and Mining. Because cryptocurrency related business is most profitable one. Actually I accept your point about Japanese involvement in cryptocurrency.
Probably this is true, Asians now are the most more holding in bitcoin, they are now adopting this cryptocurrency into their country even there are some governments against bitcoin but I know there are some others making money in crypto. Just like what happens in China they are now totally banned bitcoin people they're involved already in holding bitcoin. Because it is easy to bypass their governments by using VPN.
5771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: September 19, 2018, 04:15:46 PM
Yes, there will be a cashless society in the future, but unfortunately they are still using centralized services, for example in china they use Alipay to pay things without the need of carrying cash, same goes in korea they use line so I don't think that decentralized ones will take over the cashless society.
Correct, centralized service is one to have a priority in our government of course and that's impossible to happen that to become cashless by using crypto if it is still decentralized in society. It will never happen that traditional money will replace digital money like crypto. However, probably digital currency is another existence currency or the alternate currency of paper money.
Even using cards there are still having an offline transaction that you must use cash, and cashless is impossible to happen.
5772  Other / Meta / Re: How to make quality post in forum on: September 19, 2018, 08:01:37 AM
Well, we can't blame people trying hard and hoping just to get even a single merit and rank up but this OP was obviously attempting to get smerit by creating a thread post and advice people. Why you should not apply on your side to gain a smerit?

@ OP, mate just forget merit system for a while instead of chasing smerit try to have a good post and try your best to contribute a good quality post that giving good information to others, then probably without knowing you someone putting merit on your post.

OP, if I were you now much better lock this thread and do what I say then probably you got smerit.
5773  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Matters on: September 18, 2018, 11:59:45 PM
Yes, money is very important. I hold my portfolio in cryptocurrency as long as I can if I don't need money but when it really needs I don't hesitate my self to convert it all in fiat. Last week I badly need money but I don't have any options to have that's why I convert my bitcoin into fiat even market is low just to have a money. I saw that I have lost 40% on my holding bitcoin but no choice rather than I can't pay my bills at that time. So, money is very important at all.
5774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: September 18, 2018, 09:00:26 PM
In gambling, I think 1% of winning chances you had the rest of that is lost. It is really hard to win gambling especially in lotto lucky draw I never win that but I always betting and hoping that I have to win even once. Here it comes up in my mind that gambling is not for winning always, probably it is good for entertainment only no matter how much you have lost as long as you enjoy gambling. When it comes chasing money it is nothing.
5775  Economy / Speculation / Re: when will you learn price is not related to news on: September 18, 2018, 10:06:57 AM
Not all news will react and effect to the price of bitcoin in the market, there are some news in the mainstream that makes by the whales that probably the old holder will already know then they did not do panic selling that, then if they do probably the market will crash the price.
It really depends upon on what news will come up in the mainstream when weak people believed that news that's the reason why the market has begun to drop the price.
5776  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Countries where Bitcoin is legal or illegal. on: September 18, 2018, 08:51:32 AM
Well, that is very informative though. But I think it's better for you to include those countries that were a neutral treat in bitcoin adoption.
Most of that countries are probably in Asia, didn't declare by their government legal but also it not illegal just like here in our country Bitcoin is not formally legal but no totally illegal, we are freely to use bitcoin even taxation we don't have.

@OP, probably there's an addition in your post, there are also countries that they are quite in bitcoin (cryptos) and not putting any laws and regulation.
5777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality over Quantity in the bounty game on: September 18, 2018, 04:28:52 AM
Try research with different perspective mate. that was i do for now..
....snip
Research is the best thing to do in joining bounties program by checking all documents they had also the personal information of their building team. Yes a ton of shit bounty project emerging on this forum just to fool people that who invest and also those bounty hunters become zero their work, it is not worth it due to a scammed project has joined.

I hope there's a filtration of all project that launches from ICO to avoid possibilities scam, as I have noticed now most projects are scammed not being profitable to the investors and the bounty hunters. Some others are a failure to their project, so sad if you had participated in this project. Indeed, wasting our time.

5778  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: September 17, 2018, 09:06:58 PM
That is why governments will ever be against bitcoin and blockchain technology.  The fact that bitcoin is going to give freedom to the society governments will never like.  The politicians hate a decentralized system and that is what blockchain technology stand for.
You have a point, the politicians and the governments hated cryptocurrency because it is a decentralized system that they did not able to control. One thing that for sure they are afraid of, they think that this system of blockchain technology will become a big competitor soon to the government when it comes to investment. No one deposit their assets in the bank due to regulated and your not the one holding your keys only a bank. Not just like cryptocurrency that you know everything when you have a savings fund a investment as well.
5779  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the price of cryptocurrencies be stable? on: September 17, 2018, 04:41:57 AM
The thing with people is that one day they believe that a stable price is important, and once we have a stable price for a longer while, they suddenly start to get bored and want the volatility back. People don't know what they want.
Yeah right, I don't know why people they want a stable price in the market. How they can ride the volatility and make a profit if they want the stable market. Through this high volatile we can make more profit when it comes to trading, and stable market it means no profit at all.

I don't think so if there is a stable price in the cryptocurrency, as long as we heard the word volatile we expect that there is a fluctuation of the coins in the market not only cryptocurrency will fluctuate even foreign exchange there is a fluctuation of their value in the market. Nothing stable happen at all.
5780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy do you have for taking profits? on: September 17, 2018, 04:06:53 AM
Yes, we can do investment to get more profit.especially in cryptocurrency world cause this project with a lot of advantages.so i can also make huge profits from them.
There is no guaranteed returns if you only invest in this market without having any studies. Yes, its easy to buy good coins but if you don't know how to handle this market you will still loose the money. My strategy is quiet simple, I just buy top coins and hold on it until it reach my target price to earn profit. I'm not panicking at all, because I believe on every coin I have right now.
It means that having a good profit in investing good coins in the market is holding a long-term, which is patiently to wait for your gain and cut it when it reaches your target ROI on your investment. Well, that is effective because that is what I am doing now. Waiting until the market becomes bullish and when I saw profit was there that's the time of cutting gains. Indeed, we don't know the possible happen in the market so, the best thing to do is wait and avoid panic selling at all.
