I would not use any android wallet as my main wallet but more for some pocket money and small transactions, but if I had to choose I would go with some open source wallet. Electrum is standard desktop spv wallet for Bitcoin but I don't like their mobile version, Mycellium wallet is full of adds, and I would better go for BlueWallet. Samourai wallet is fine if you want to have more privacy but you will still need to run your own full node to be able to send Coinjoin transactions, and maybe the best and safest option would be to have combination of hardware wallet and mobile wallet. Unfortunately the only Android wallet I know to properly support hardware wallet is Mycelium. Indeed, it's imperfect abd it's full of ads. Still, for now I don't have any good enough replacement. From what I know Electrum doesn't support HW and from what I've read BlueWallet may be working with Coldcard (for Ledger and Trezor all I've got is how to import xpub for watch only wallet). So if OP wants to use a HW, he may have to also consider this.

Somehow, the race calendar was picked up incorrectly. Now we need to compete in Italy or somewhere warmer. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It did occur to me that maybe, just maybe, this was done like this on purpose, to have a bit more interesting races too. I mean, there are plenty of great drivers there, but on a dry track it tends to be boring... On the other hand, a bit of rain has the potential to bring a bit of drama, a bit more interesting race and results. For now, I can say that I'm pleasantly impressed by the look of the starting grid.

It would be more accurate to say that China seized a certain amount of cryptocurrencies, but they were also sold in 2020, at least according to some reports that were made public. So in the context of what happened in El Salvador, all these cases are completely different if we are talking about a government owning something because of investing, in relation to the possession of something as a result of a seizure.
I already said, a few days ago in this very topic that these coins, resulted from seizures are most probably not worthy for the list, since they are supposed to be auctioned (sooner or later). Still, I think that they are of interest, at least to be mentioned (again: in a post, not in the topic). Of course, the fact that those coins are already sold, is another story = it's an update I was not aware of and thank you for that.

Apparently it is old news:
It looks like an addition was made to the original (Sep 3) part. The addition is: The provision of services by overseas virtual currency exchanges to Chinese residents through the Internet is also an illegal financial activity.
I don't see this as a good reason for the dump. It's more like somebody released the FUD dogs because he got scared that Twitter moves from yesterday have the potential to make the price explode during the week-end.

I am suggesting a new feature on bitcointalk.
There should be an option to donate to staff or other valued member making quality contributions on bitcointalk. Since this is crypto related forum, donation can be handled with bitcoin gateways. Do you think such a feature will be useful ?
Well... the options are there, the forum doesn't have to do anything special. Let me explain. * The forum itself no longer needs donations. You can read more details on the official donations page. * The staff is paid for their work. But if you want to donate to any user from the forum, whether staff or not, you should start by checking his profile. Most probably you'll find there a bitcoin address for donations. And if you want to arrange something more complicated, you'll have to discuss/message the user. So imho we're good and the forum doesn't have to add any feature for this.

Thx!

In the above article, it mentioned "worldwide" but since the receiver still has to use Strike, then that defeats its purpose to a large extent [at least until they integrate it with something else]!
Strike was there in the testing phase and it makes sense to be the first live, especially as it looks a bit rushed (only iOS? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ). Strike is not only limited to certain countries, it's also KYC, hence not so appealing for bitcoiners. But it was said that Twitter tips will use other LN solutions too, even non-custodial ones, when the Bitcoin tipping goes live, but I guess that it'll take time. A good list is here: They mention using Blue Wallet, Wallet of Satoshi as LN custodial wallets and Breez, Muun, Phoenix and Zap as non-custodial wallets, so there are plans to add other options for tips maybe even upcoming Square hardware.

Don’t talk boring numbers we where at 45 few days back when 54 again that more important ….
True that. But first things first. We need a kick that should make the things fly again. And the Twitter news may just be it.

Interesting; in 20th there was a news U.S. to Target Crypto Ransomware Payments With Sanctions, which was discussed one day later here on bitcointalk. One day later, on the 21th, there's already this news you posted. So they were already targeting Suex. So they were cooking it for a while already... How ridiculous it this ?
Sadly, it's in line with how government agencies work. They restrict the businesses and individuals' rights, while the actual wrongdoers will find their ways to go around these barriers and continue as usual.

Twitter rolls out bitcoin tipping for iOS users via Lightning, looks to NFTs for the futurehttps://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/118450/twitter-rolls-out-bitcoin-tipping-for-ios-users-via-lightning-looks-to-nfts-for-the-futureI don't know (nor care much) about NFTs, but I think that this is the news of the day. Much more important than the DNS "hack" that will be forgotten in a few days. Bitcoin tipping is getting live on Twitter. And it works integrated with LN.There's not much to add, the topic was covered since it was a rumor, but now it's live (at least for the lucky iOS users). For now, the integration is only rolled out to iOS users, but Android is soon to come, promised Crawford.

News like this have a hell of a lot of fans cheering. A stadium full! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Nice one from PSV! And with some help from Jack Dorsey too, we'll get to 45k+, soon!

Any update on this? I can't still access the domain. It's quite unusual; sad to see the main bitcoin domain has been hacked though the amount hacker stole luckily wasn’t that big. Probably because it was figured faster. If any update is posted anywhere, please share me the link if anyone have.
Actually the website was not hacked. An DNS flaw was exploited and the traffic goes to a malicious website with odd SSL certificate. And, strangely, for me it seems to be working now. But CloudFlare did look into the problem though.

"At Robinhood, we’re designing wallets to be intuitive, with security features such as identity verification, multi-factor authentication, and email and phone verification to keep coins safe from hacks and other threats." ~ Since when does identity verification protect your coins from the threat of hacking or makes it safer to store your crypto?
I guess that they want to act like a bank. You give all the identity info they ask and if something happens with your account (and they can't blame it on you! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) then you'll get your money back by proving (again) your identity. I thought it was always exactly the opposite, in the case of a hack all your identity information might be stolen by a malicious actor, which further might be used against you making your coins and yourself painfully vulnerable to physical and virtual attacks. It is rather a security hole than a security feature.
It depends on how good care they have on that data. And it depends on luck too I guess. Most banks have such data and most were not hacked.
I don't tell that we should trust Robinhood with our credentials. Au contraire! I only answered those questions ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Received a translation today. All the money was returned after more than three months. Thanks everyone for the answers!
For correct information, it would be nice from you to edit main post and: 1. Add this information there as update. 2. Change the title by adding a [resolved] somewhere in it. I'm really glad you've got your money back, even if it took them (way too) long.
