5761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: June 30, 2019, 01:05:25 PM
A newbie to cryptocurrencies should do this as a habit:

-Never trust an exchange to store your crypto.
-Use a crytpo wallet that uses private key to access and recover it.
-Always enable the 2 factor authenthication of your wallets and exchanges accounts.
-Make multiple backups of private key of your crypto wallet.
-Never give to anyone your private key.
5762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The advantage of day trader on: June 30, 2019, 12:15:58 PM
It has its own advantage and disadvantage. Being a day trader, you can focus more on what you do. You also have time to other things like your hobbies and family. Less stressful compared to having a day job. Disadvantages are its more risky because your money is at stake on trading. When your plan doesn't go what you've expected then you'll lose money. So having a backup capital to become a day trader is necessary.
5763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: June 30, 2019, 10:47:06 AM
When I started trading my plan is to hsve daily trades but as the time goes I learn many things from it. You must dedicate your whole day for daily trading. Market can change in a few hours or even minutes. I'm more suited for long term trading, I just check my weekly portfolio to see if it went up or down. If up take some profit.
5764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: June 30, 2019, 09:12:02 AM
When I was trading long time ago I always choose the wrong decision. I'm easily affected by fuds and buy at fomo. That's why I stop short trading and only choose to become a long-term investor. Trading is really stressful if you have weak mind and can't control your emotions well.
5765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: June 30, 2019, 03:23:24 AM
ITs a bit late now but still under reccomendation.
Well if i will advice a newbie it is not to buy any tokens not coin.
I will tell them to review and make a research on this cryptocurremcy before doing anything else.
study first before getting into it is the best thing to have.
Today, many promising projects still have not moved, and their price is still at the very bottom, despite the fact that the highest-rated cryptocurrencies increased several times in the beginning of 2019.  Thus, it is these projects that can be considered today as a profitable investment, since their time will come very soon.  But at this stage it is very difficult to invest in Bitcoin, because there is a danger of a repetition of the situation at the end of 2017 and 2018, when everyone started to buy Bitcoin, and prices went down.

I think 207's ath is not likely to happen again. What happen before was a pure fomo resulting for bitcoin to increase that much in a few days. Unlike today we are going up slowly and many companies already acknowledged bitcoin and starts to apply on their business.
5766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why drop in price when listed on exchange market? on: June 30, 2019, 02:11:18 AM
Main reason is either bounty hunters dump their coins or those who bought at ICO dump their holdings too to buy more amount for a cheaper price. It's just the faster you sold your tokens the more profit you'll get because eventually after many days that tokens already dump hard where it's below 50% from the ICO price. If the team is really serious on their project and will follow the roadmap of their project it will return to its original ICO price after a few months and even increase above that.
5767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all bounty hunters do research on projects on: June 30, 2019, 01:22:44 AM
Most bounty hunters don't think about the project they promote. Their focus is the bounty allocation of that project. They support those kind of projects not knowing who's the team behind it or even the use case of it. They don't even know if their roadmap is good. Their main goal is to earn money, and I think that's what bounty hunters really do but supporting some scam projects is just a wast of time and won't give them decent money for the duration they support it.
5768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: June 30, 2019, 12:44:17 AM
Bear market means low price of the coins and tokens so it is good opportunity to have a coin who are cheap.
The more cheap coins you get during bear market and once happens bull market the profit you get is higher.
They have bad and good effect . The mindset of the people only bad once they think bear market.

I think those people that thinks bear market is bad are those who bought at high price or caught into fomo. Bear market is just normal at trading. No crypto would just go up forever. And investing to a crypto that only goes up is really dangerous imo as anytime whales can dump their holdings making small traders suffer.
5769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trade WITHOUT exchange? on: June 29, 2019, 01:00:25 PM
Since bitcoin is programmable, is it possible that many people just trade through command line under Linux? This way, we could avoid fees related to exchanges.
Its possible to trade without exchanges, here in my place you can do that using our local wallet (coins.ph). There might be no fees on doing that but there's a big difference on the price of buy and sell so I guess it is still not good to use that wallet as your trading platform. The fees on exchanges are not that high if you are trading big, so I think its better to use the exchanges and of course you can choose many coins which I think the advantage.

I'm from Philippines too and also a user of coins.ph bitcoin wallet. Aside from the big difference on buy and sell price, I'll add that you can't do buy and sell orders. So if you want to do trading using their platform you have to focus on it 24/7. Unlike on exchange you can do those orders and sell some stop loss. It is really not suggested to use that platform to trade. There are reports that when you have high amounts of bitcoin stored there the company will suddenly lock your account without any reasons. And reaching with them is difficult.
5770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gaining quick profits or keep holding? on: June 29, 2019, 12:03:35 PM
It really depends to an individual whether he already want to grab some profit or keep holding for bigger profit. If you are good in trading then take profit when there's an opportunity then buy back when its cheap. But if you don't have time to study trading, just be an investor like me and wait until next year or few more years to sell your bitcoin at a great price.
5771  Economy / Economics / Re: ASIAN CRYPTO FRIENDLY COUNTRIES on: June 29, 2019, 10:23:07 AM
Most Asian countries engaged bitcoin, and above all countries this 3 countries already made to the top, this countries are:
JAPAN
SINGAPORE
HONG KONG
As of the present this countries served as the heart cryptocurrency in Asia.

This list needs to be added to a country that is very friendly with cryptocurrency and blockchain, Philippines. I was really surprised about the effort in expanding knowledge of blockchain and crypto in the educational environment in the Philippines. they are also supporting Bitcoin ATMs, this is crazy. In the next 5 years, they will be a country of great influence in the crypto market.

I'm also hoping for that to happen. But before that some people here should be enlighten first what really is bitcoin because some investment schemes here are saying that they have crypto investments to provide payouts to their investors and can sustain their business.
5772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash out after having investment trippled in bitcoin! on: June 29, 2019, 05:25:15 AM
Who among you here does not hold btc anymore and afraid of investing to bitcoin? Did you regret of not investing on bitcoin too?

I'm still holding my btc since 2016. Sometimes I regret that I didn't sell when it was $20k but my main goal is really long term. Bitcoin has really a big potential to grow in the future so I am holding it as much as I can and I can still sustain myself from my other incomes. Next year on halving I'll see where bitcoin will go and decide if I should sell that time.
5773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: June 29, 2019, 04:03:45 AM
Most of my things are done privately and not publicly, and sometimes i allowed people to be responsible for what action they tried to exhibit. Advising a newbies to the world of cryptocurrency is risky and could be a death trap if they invested based on your advise and then lost their savings in the process. Personally, i willn't advise anyone even my relatives to jump into cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin is not all about investment. You also need to secure well your bitcoin wallet so it won't be hacked in the long run. If a newbie just followed someone for the reason of price speculation of it on the future then he won't learn the risks of it. It is really better to dyor so you won't blame anyone in case of losing your money.
5774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: June 29, 2019, 03:08:27 AM
Yes, in fact here in our country you can already use it to pay some bills, buy game credits, top-up load credits for your phone and many more things to use. As time passes the number of merchants here that acknowledge blockchain technology and bitcoin is growing.
5775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks to consider before trading? on: June 28, 2019, 02:14:51 PM
Don't engage directly to hype price that attracts you to buy during fast rising value. You could loss huge amount of money after you bought a that prospected coins. That's the actual risk which you could face in the midst of holding a coin that might crash eventually after you buy it.

Controlling your emotion is really a big challenge to most traders. Most newbie buy at fomo because when it's cheap they doubt it would pump. I suggest to study trading well and how to read the charts, and tools commonly used in trading to know when it is the right time to buy and sell.
5776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if you lose $2,000 in trading? on: June 28, 2019, 12:50:50 PM
I lost more than 10 BTC a years ago but I never felt guilty thanks to the calm nature of my mind. It is not a big amount for average countries but it can be a life-changing amount for poor third world countries. Trading is risky, winning and losing are two important factors here. Better look for the new opportunities instead of blaming myself if such case ever happens again.

Good thing you're calm to those kind of situation and move on quickly. Others will sulk for few months, some even will get depressed. Just think of it as an important lesson to your life. If you only think negatively nothing will happen.

Next time you try something that is new to you, just put only few amounts. Once you get used to it, increased it until you reached the amount you want to invest.
5777  Economy / Economics / Re: Repeating of all time high has begun on: June 28, 2019, 11:05:16 AM
I don't think that it is just repeating it could be setting up a new all time high,
The market is now stronger and it is more mature compare to the recent all time high,
This could be a new record and the best part is it could stay up and never to go down again.

Maybe you mean what happen after 2017's last ath. It is impossible for bitcoin to not go down and just stay on its new ath in the future if it happens. I do agree that rally now is better compared to last ath because many institutions already acknowledge bitcoin and not just fomo like 2017.
5778  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the SINGLE most valuable benefit for you in Bitcoin and why? on: June 28, 2019, 09:48:02 AM
I consider bitcoin as a long term type of investment. I started with bitcoin about 2 years ago, although I'm not updated with all that is happening I casually visit my trading site and check on my bitcoins and alts.

It may not be safe storing bitcoin and altcoin to a trading website as you don't have complete control on your cryptos there. Once that site have been hacked or your account has been hacked you won't recover them anymore. It's better to store them on a wallet where you can access it using a private key. It's more safe there and hackers can't steal your cryptos. Just make sure to have a backup of it so you can recover it on any device you want.
5779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: June 28, 2019, 05:07:42 AM
Many of them are useless but not all. Top altcoins on coinmarketcap has their own use cases. They have their own project to contribute to the blockchain technology. It depends on that individual how he appreciate them if he would define it useless.
5780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits in cryptocurrency trading. on: June 28, 2019, 04:24:11 AM
Benefits of crypto trading is it has no restriction like minimum amount of capital to start. Even if you only have 10$ you can trade cryptos. Although there are some risk because crypto market is very volatile and some are manipulated by whales. If you can adjust to the market trends crypto trading will yield you good amount of profit.
