5761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 20, 2019, 02:47:23 AM
It seems like Mathijs deLigt has turned down Barca, the contract offer being way too low.
PSG is now the favorite to sign the Dutch player.

I didn't expect that apparently.
Every footballer's dream is to play in La Liga and especially in Barcelona and Real Madrid. However, De Ligt turned them down... It is interesting now to see where he is going to land.

De Light turning down Barcelona was not a surprising move as he knows he won’t be playing each and very match there, and the money offered by them was way too low for a player of his caliber.

Almost done for Rabiot to Juventus for 0€.

Still waiting for a big player, De Ligt or Pogba are the 2 big names.

It looks like Juventus has finally got their man and there’s no doubt about Rabiot ability, but seeing the drama he did at PSG I feel Juventus needs to be careful with the way they handle him. Pogba may yet end up in Juventus as he’s openly seeking a new start, and I hope Manchester United sells him right away.
5762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook coin Libra already targeted by US government on: June 19, 2019, 07:45:22 AM
Quote
Rep. Patrick McHenry, senior Republican on the House Financial Services Committee, wrote a letter Tuesday to committee Chair Maxine Waters, a Democrat, demanding a hearing on the Facebook cryptocurrency initiative.

Maxine's full statement is below. What is most surprising is that she is, don't shoot us, right.

Facebook has data on billions of people and has repeatedly shown a disregard for the protection and careful use of this data. It has also exposed Americans to malicious and fake accounts from bad actors, including Russian intelligence and transnational traffickers. Facebook has also been fined large sums and remains under a Federal Trade Commission consent order for deceiving consumers and failing to keep consumer data private, and has also been sued by the government for violating fair housing laws on its advertising platform.

“With the announcement that it plans to create a cryptocurrency, Facebook is continuing its unchecked expansion and extending its reach into the lives of its users. The cryptocurrency market currently lacks a clear regulatory framework to provide strong protections for investors, consumers, and the economy. Regulators should see this as a wake-up call to get serious about the privacy and national security concerns, cybersecurity risks, and trading risks that are posed by cryptocurrencies. Given the company’s troubled past, I am requesting that Facebook agree to a moratorium on any movement forward on developing a cryptocurrency until Congress and regulators have the opportunity to examine these issues and take action. Facebook executives should also come before the Committee to provide testimony on these issues.”

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-18/maxine-waters-demands-facebook-stop-all-development-libra-crypto-project

Libra hasn't started yet but it looks like the US government wanted to bring it down already. No less than a congressional hearing is being requested here and bring some light about this so called coin. US are really coming down hard in recent days on everything that is related to crypto. But this time, they wanted to shoot it down before it goes on a full blown and un-controllable situation.

This is a quick decision by USA it’ll interesting what conditions they’ll impose on Facebook coins, however all should remember that those conditions won’t effect bitcoins. Facebook Coin is a centralised stable coin, and Bitcoin is a decentralised coin hence bitcoin won’t be effected at all.
5763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you trust FB with your KYC details? on: June 19, 2019, 02:38:17 AM
I wouldn't. I don't think this coin will succeed! What do you think?

No I would not give Facebook my KYC details because they’ll sell this data ahead, and then say we did this to enhance your experience with the platform. I also think it’ll not succeed because many governments have banned crypto’s, and now they cannot allow Facebook coin and that’ll hit their revenues hard. After Facebook recent scandals they have lost people’s trust, and that’s the very reason why I’ll be urging people to stay away from their coin.
5764  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Population rise and downsides on: June 18, 2019, 02:19:48 PM
According to the UN population division, there are currently 7,713,468,000 on our planet Earth. And those figures are expected to grow fast to 8.5 billion by 2030, and at the end of the century we would be almost 11 billion.

Not we though, most of us would have passed on by then. How habitable would the world be for 'them', future generations?

Food production would be critical in the survival of our species, and climate change, land degradation, loss of fertility, loss of lands and gradually shift from agriculture doesn't help our chances.

Most of population growth would be happening in developing countries, such as mine Nigeria.
Couple of decades back, agriculture was the main source of livelihood, and each family produced what they consumed, then colonization happened, and brought with it Western Civilization. Now this opened multiple opportunities in industry, and with the discovery of oil, and other minerals, farming moved to the background, now it's the responsibility of a few to feed the whole. This scenario played out in many countries. We all have to take up this responsibility to produce food or at least help sustain the fertility of the earth, especially the oceans.

Internally displaced persons, refugees, and immigrants are also on the rise. Results of war, riots, natural disasters and lack of opportunities due to corruption in many countries. This puts pressure on available land for food and shelter.

One of the upsides of population growth is increase in labour force. If we put our hands together; there maybe a chance.
I believe the deciding factor would be the people in power. We NEED to get them to act.

I didn’t knew these stats till your brought them up, on the face of it they look scary however I believe we win when we start to find positivity in a negative situation. While over population is a problem, but as you rightly said we could use that increased labour force into something productive and find a way to survive. What we will need is proper planning from now, so we’re ready when this day comes.
5765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The past, present and future of Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2019, 12:55:17 PM
The past: It gets created by one guy who nobody knows who he really is
The present: Market gets rejuvenated
The future: BTC at 20K? The article where I got the info from has some bullish points!

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/the-past-present-and-future-of-bitcoin/

The last line is up for debate here as some will feel it will not touch $20k by 2019, and others feel it’ll cross $20k before the year ends. I am one of those few who feel it’ll cross $20k because adoption rate has increased, public sentiments are high and there’re many global situations which will make people purchase bitcoins. The situations I’m referring to are Iran vs USA war like situation, and China Vs USA trade war due to this demand for bitcoins shall grow and in turn it’s prices shall rally.
5766  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going for a Big correction on: June 18, 2019, 09:54:15 AM
Dear investors,

I have been analyzing bitcoin price during past five and a half years and I can spot patterns and price trends (both upward and downward trends), before they start, with much accuracy. I used to own more than 50 Bitcoins at one time.

I can tell you with full confidence that bitcoin (and other major cryptocurrencies) will be some of the best-performing assets in the world for some years to come.

Now I can tell you with full confidence that a medium term price CRASH is coming and this will be spread over several days (possibly weeks) to come!

I have used more than one analytical methodologies that have been proven accurate  and correct in past and all of my technicals and fundamentals are screeming very loudly that CURRENT PRICE LEVEL OF $9400+ IS THE MEDIUM TERM TOP OF THE CURRENT RALLY which has been taking the price upwards since December 2018.

I can tell you with full confidence that right now the Bitcoin is in a hugely overbought condition (for the medium term).

My analysis clearly tell me that this upcoming downward trend will most likely start someday during the current week, the week which has started today, on Monday June 17, 2019 or during the next week and this downward trend will be spread over many days (possibly weeks) to come. Before this downtrend begins, there can be some upward price movements which should be taken as opportunities to sell at a higher profit.

So I would advice the investors to sell your cryptocurrency holdings at price jumps during this week, while you can. Do the profit taking now and then wait for the next bottom.

***************************************
The good news is that my Analytical techniques will also tell me when the next bottom will be near. So those of you who would like to benefit from my consultancy to find the bottom at that time will be more than welcomed.

Mark this post (and my words) for future reference. The future is not very far!
***************************************

@MegaAnalysis if you’re so confident on your analysis how come you haven’t been rich till date, or famous as the man who was always spot on about Bitcoin price analysis everytime he made a prediction?. I don’t mean to be rude but I am not convinced about your analysis, as you have not posted concrete evidence to back it up. Also what is the proof of you holding 50 bitcoins, again you have not shared any images to back up your claim.
5767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 18, 2019, 07:29:25 AM

The improved results and the possibility of success in McClaren's 2018 restructure might show on 2020. That is what they are hyping according to some articles.

In any case, can Ferrari again beat Mercedes during qualifying in France?

McLaren has a long way to go before they can challenge for titles, I don’t think we’ll see any title challenge from them in 2020. Ferrari will not be beating Mercedes as they’re lacking confidence and luck, I feel Mercedes shall win this race too. What Ferrari needs to do is replace their technical team and their drivers, it’s simply not working out for them.

@Boxxob: Any plans ahead to integrate the lightning network payments? Bitcoin prices are peeking and the transactions are taking too long to get confirmed due to the busy network. I've seen a couple of gambling websites already making plans to integrate it. Just wanted to know if the case is same with BitDice.

@Joel_Jantsen this is an excellent suggestion as integrating Lighting Network will make payments faster, and every gambler likes to receive his winning instantly in his wallet, even though Bitdice pays instantly it takes time to show up due to high number of confirmations in the network.

Another day another some Blackjack wins from these two guys!

Universeaaa congratulations on your wins, those are some good numbers to win.

5769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your destiny is in your hands on: June 17, 2019, 02:33:29 PM
That is right. No one will be more responsible for what will happen with our destiny other than ourselves. If we properly evaluate every decision we make and learn from previous mistakes, then our future in cryptocurrency world will be a brighter one.

When it comes to crypto market it’s very important to take some time out, and study the project if you’re planning to invest in an ICO. Do not let the fancy graphics guide you, instead do in-depth research about the project, the owner and his team members and then reach an conclusion. If you wish to avoid all the hassles of researching, and due diligence then simply invest in bitcoins if you can handle it’s volatility.

Kiritsugu good to know Twitter is restored, we should post up our big bets and winners on that hashtag yolo;)

Ethan is definitely not missing, I see his name on my dashboard at the minimum of once per week;) He is very busy for sure,,, but he will get back to you. That is 100% for sure.

Just wait patiently, and watch this thread and your email. I would suggest you prepare to sign a bitcoin address you have deposited from or withdrawn before in the meanwhile.
I was a bit busy with work today.
and my 2fa loss problem was solved by Ethan after more than 48 hours emailing support@yolidice.com
Perhaps this problem should be better overcome if Ethan has more partners to solve for the user.
Assuming that the worst case scenario happened with Ethan, maybe the players would suffer huge damage.

Support is always an issue with a growing site,,, you can hire many people but if only a few people have issues then it is a wasted resource,,, I think this is a bit of an unusual case and you were probably unlucky. Then again,,, I have to wait for over 24 hours for Twitter or FB to return to me in support,,, only for extra questions instead of solution:)

When you’re running an online casino such things are bound to happen, an owner cannot be expected to come to the forum, and reply to each and every members post. The best way forward is to drop a email and patiently wait for a reply, also remember that they receive tons of emails each day which sometimes causes the delay. In the end I’m glad your issue was resolved via email now take care of your 2fa.

Today I was chasing 990x on PD, but stopped after 750 rolls made to no avail. Meanwhile I had received a 10k sats tip from Darko which covered almost everything I lost while chasing that 990x. I love PD! Smiley

Also seeing these wins by Gagamboy

with pretty big multipliers was inspiring. I love when someone wins with big multipliers, either me or anyone else, doesn't matter. )

@Betwrong you were so close on chasing that big multiplier, now I hope you’ll be able to achieve it next time and post here about your achievement. That tip really must have made your day cause now you have funds again to chase that multipiler, waiting to hear from you now. I’ll agree whenever people play big bets or chase big multipliers it’s just fun to watch it, especially when I can only dream about playing big bets.
5772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do investors think about ICO? on: June 17, 2019, 02:34:48 AM
There are many investors are invested in the ICO when it came in 2017 and most of the ICOs are also legit. But after this year in 2018 maximum ICOs are came fake. So, now to tackle this and win the investors heart the new projects are coming with STO and IEO but very few ICO are coming. So, before investing the ICO do proper evaluation. But, I have never interested in ICO. But I invested in ICO in the year 2017 is only two ICO and that was legit.

Investors should not invest in ICOs unless they have done their due diligence about them, they need to understand that 9 out of 10 ICOs are scam. These days it’s very easy to write a white paper and con investors hence it’s important to find more details about the owner, and their past experiences regarding ICOs. @Dpat it’s sad to know that you invested in scam ICOs, I hope people will learn from your experience and not invest in ICOs.
5773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are down when BTC up, altcoins again down Even if BTC down. Why? on: June 16, 2019, 06:07:23 PM
Altcoins are down when BTC up, altcoins again down Even if BTC down. Why?

Which altcoins are you talking about care to name them, as popular altcoins prices are always rising upwards whenever bitcoin prices starts to rise. Altcoins prices often crashes whenever bitcoin prices are crashing and that’s normal, because the crypto market follows bitcoin prices lead. I feel you have brought scam ICOs which are not rising at all, if it’s yet possible dump them and invest your money in bitcoins.
5774  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S government blames Iran for attack on oil tankers in Gulf of Oman on: June 16, 2019, 11:16:04 AM
Wasn't it Iran that released the footage first? That's something someone who did something bad wouldn't do. Especially with this one since they'd know they'll be the first one to be blamed.

Remember USS Maine?

Iran is being put under lots of pressure by USA and I feel it’s a dangerous situation for the gulf region, if USA decides to retaliate without concrete proof. Saudi Arabia has also blamed Iran for the attack, and has hinted that it could take actions if needed to protect their interests. Does anyone here think that USA and Saudi can attack Iran vessels to teach them a lesson, won’t it destabilise peace in the gulf region?.

5775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin about to go really high on: June 16, 2019, 09:11:17 AM
It really did, we are seeing bitcoin increasing once again, it is always a happy day when I see bitcoin going up, I have missed seeing bitcoin at these high prices, it is close to $9.3k now which is the top we have seen in 2019, lets hope in few days we can break the biggest of 2019 price as well.

I am sick and tired of waiting around and I want to cash out finally but I promised myself I won't do that unless I see my profits double and in order to reach that I need to see bitcoin at least above 12 thousand dollars or need to see ethereum above 400 dollars and I am not sure which one is more plausible right now. Whichever happens first I will be withdrawing my savings and would like to finally spend it on some stuff I have kept waiting for months and now they are really becoming urgency because of how much I waited.

Bitcoin prices finally crossed $9.4k levels, and have corrected little bit which I feel is natural as people often tend to sell it when it hits new heights. It’ll definitely cross $10k levels in coming days, and achieve a new high of 2019 but till then we may witness more volatility in the prices. @FanEagle that was a smart decision you took of holding your coins, and I would suggest you not to sell them at $12k levels but wait and sell them at 20k levels.

Totally forgot about the Brazil game until earlier today, checked the score & hey, I got the 3-0 Exact Score.
Some things are guaranteed in life - Death, Taxes, LFC_Bitcoin knowing his footbsll.

Grin

Brazil won the game easily thanks to Coutinho scoring goals in the absense of Neymar, whose presence was missed as I felt Brazil struggled for long periods of the game. @LFC_Bitcoin congratulations on winning your bet with the exact score, it’s difficult to win with the exact score you’re very lucky.

Argentina vs Colombia will be a much better game afterwards, a lot more talented players. Should be a good match, Argentina should win.
Well, so far this game is disappointing. There wasn't much action in the first half and we saw only few shots made. I hope second half will be better...

I can’t believe it that Argentina lost the match they’re the favourites to win this cup, it was a horrible performance from them I hope they bounce back from this loss.

5777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Tom Schwarz on: June 15, 2019, 06:00:32 PM
It's going to be a walk in the park for Fury, but I would love to see an upset here that would be excited and interesting for the heavyweight division but I don't see Tom Schwarz doing a Ruiz, because they are two different fighters, but let's see there could be a surprise here, who knows.

Tyson is indeed the superior athlete out of the two, but I don’t see any upset being caused here due to Tyson’s experience. I’m however expecting Schwarz to offer decent competition, and make this match interesting to watch. How many of you’ll think Tyson can knock out Schwarz, though I know it’s going to be difficult I feel Tyson can definitely knock him out.
5778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors need to face reality on: June 15, 2019, 01:15:00 PM
I think this year was a year for bitcoin and ethereum, they growing steadily and becoming bullish. And I do agree that the investor this year got more profit than last year it because of ICO that is full of the scam last year 2018.

I  noticed that the major altcoins also growing bullish these past months and that is good news for all the investors.
We as investors already faced the reality,  We survived a long bearish market, we learned from the past year. We are now stronger and more knowledgeable than before.

The bear market phase ended few days back when the rally began, but even then many people tried to spread fud by saying that crypto’s prices will crash but they were proved wrong. All those who decided to hodl their coins, and buyed on dips have been rewarded for their patience as the entire crypto market is witnessing a bull rally. @escalante28 you’re absolutely correct many of us have learnt from their past mistakes, and thanks to the knowledge available here the community does not fall for fud news anymore.

Still can't access using indonesian IP, get a warning "Internet Positive".

Question:
did Alex really not want to fix this problem?
Login using VPN is not a problem for me, but it is rather uncomfortable if at any time visiting Bitdice must first enable the VPN.

hmmm ... login successfully using VPN but a blank white screen appears, have to wait a little longer until all content (game/chat) from bitdice is visible.
Can you try to log in now without VPN and see if this issue has been solved on your end so that we'll know if Alex still needs to see this.

Just tried using three different indonesian IPs (using a proxy only though not VPN so maybe it wasn't as effective in showing up on the server) and it seems to work fine from my side. I did not log in, though, just wanted to see if I could replicate the problem.

Maybe a few more tries because yeah, we need to weed this out Smiley

@Landak did you check with your Internet Service provider if they have blocked gambling sites, if they haven’t try clearing your caches and cookies in most cases this fixes the problem. If the issue yet persists then drop the support team a message on intercom, and state your IP address they could check it in their logs. In case you need support here get in touch with @boxxob or @kollah they’ll help you with this issue.

Lol
Always lose to other platforms? Why not lose to your firend!?!
You could create a room to be a dealer in Blackjack and share the room link to your friends in bc.game

This is an interesting concept where you can play blackjack with your friends, I think this will be a hit among gamblers who often like to gamble within their close circle. What are your payment options, does your site support instant withdrawals and what fees will you deduct if you could clarify here. I’m waiting to see more reviews and some payouts before I register and invite my friends to play.
