Media coverage is never proportional to the number of people injured or killed. It's a tuned atrocity-meter, what will maker the reader have a gut reaction. Unfortunately not many people know their religion if they are Muslim or not, they all follow their parents or so called clerics , they don`t use their own holly books.
People follow a religion due to that is what they have been thought, not they search , read and understand the creator and follow his guidance for life. That`s way i understand why many people become atheist.
