5781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Super League (ISL) Football match updates, predictions and discussions on: November 02, 2019, 01:24:06 PM
Today we have the match between Hyderabad FC and Kerala Blasters FC. These two teams are lying at the bottom half of the points table, with Kerala Blasters having 3 points form 2 games and Hyderabad yet to open their score after the same number of matches. Hyderabad went down by a heavy margin in their first match this season (5-0 against Atlético de Kolkata).

That is just sad. Never heard of this player before, but this is an odd case. So many players got hit on the helmet and none of them suffered from such extreme problems which is why I don't think he is telling the full truth here.

People always have a misunderstanding about mental illness. One of my friends suffers from bipolar disorder, and at first he faced a lot of difficulty because his family members, relatives and friends could not fully understand his condition. Fortunately for him, after sometime his family members recognized that his actions are not voluntary and started sympathizing with him.
5783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 02, 2019, 01:07:43 PM
Considering the squad that they played against CA XI, I think they should be able to beat Australia 1-2 matches. Amir is really good in bowling in T-20's. He is known for building pressure and economical bowling.
Highly unlikely in my opinion. I know that Pakistan is one of the best T-20 sides out there, but Australia are in supreme form at the moment and they look like they might mow down any team currently unless they get rattled.

Amir and Shaheen are the only big threats(Bowling wise) while Azam and Sohail are the batsmen to look out for. Unless Pakistan work together as a team(Without Sarfraz), Australia will win this series easily.

The advantage is with Australia and there is no doubt about it. However, considering the fact that Pakistan have won more than 80% of their T20 matches during the last 2-3 years (a majority of them abroad), it would be foolish from the Australian side to take them lightly. In T20, just one big innings or a single good over can change the course of the match.
5784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: November 02, 2019, 12:15:01 PM
If you are talking about the established altcoins such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, then I don't think that they will go below a certain level. Due to the large user base, whenever these coins go down there will be speculative investors who are ready to accumulate them. They will be ready to hold these coins for 4-5 years and this will prevent the further decline in the exchange rates. But the same can't be said about the lesser cryptocurrencies.
5785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ALTS would you bu if crypto boom started yesterday? on: November 02, 2019, 11:25:19 AM
My top choices would be: ETH, BCH and LTC. Ethereum can go to the moon, if the Ethereum 2.0 implementation turns out well. BCH is doing relatively well when compared to the other cryptocurrencies out there and Litecoin is also not doing that bad either. On the other hand, I would rather avoid laggards such as Cardano, Monero and NEO. These coins are going down the every other day.

Anyone watching the Ireland vs Namibia match? Ireland started off really well, but the slower Namibian bowlers causing a lot of trouble now. They are struggling at 106/5 after 15 overs. Remember that Ireland had a horrible tournament so far, losing to teams such as the United Arab Emirates, Canada and the Netherlands. They need to start playing like a nation with test status and not like an associate side.
5787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Rugby World Cup predictions on: November 02, 2019, 11:11:46 AM
LOL.. another upset in the final and now the tournament is over. The odds in favor of England ranged from 2/5 (1.40) to 4/9 (1.444). Anyone who went with those might have lost their money today. I was expecting a close match, but in the end it turned out to be very one-sided in favor of South Africa. Never expected this wide margin (12-32).
5788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting scammed on: November 02, 2019, 11:03:24 AM
I got scammed by this project called temtum. Signed up for their bounty months ago, posting for their campaign, filling up 2 kyc forms and pushing for its deadline, and now they are telling me i didnt pass it. It is not only me who encountered this. Hello Richard Dennis.

Hmm... this happens very often here. And there is hardly anything that you can do about it. BTW, I checked their bounty thread, and the campaign manager is one of the most reputed guys in this forum (Hhampuz). But he may be helpless as the token distribution and KYC is not controlled by him. Have you contacted the team members in Telegram?

I am watching the Namibia vs PNG match, and it looks very suspicious. Namibia just needed 130 to win and they were cruising comfortably until the 10th over, when they made 55 or so with the loss of two wickets. But then the batsmen were just wasting ball after ball and even when the required run rate got to 12, the batsmen were just blocking the ball. Very suspicious.

I agree that England and Oz fans can get along well and have a great time as well outside the stadium . This is not the case with India vs Pak audiences . And also it’s a nice idea when the viewership and audiences are declining you will have to make changes in test cricket .

India and Pakistan fought several wars against each other, in which hundreds of thousands of people died. There is a political enmity which overshadows the competition in sports. On the other hand, there is no such political enmity between Australia and England. For those who are unaware, the Queen of England is the Queen of Australia as well.

New Zealand defeated Wales quite comfortably, by a margin of 40-17. So they can go home with some of their honor intact. On the other hand, Wales fought well, but defeating a team such as New Zealand is close to impossible. Still they can be proud of their performance in the tournament. They gave a close fight against South Africa as well.
5792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do people still create new ERC20 tokens/projects nowadays? on: October 28, 2019, 04:39:23 PM
I was wondering if ERC20 tokens are still useful today and if people still create projects around them? I know the ICO 'feast' is kind of over and that was the main purpose people were launching these tokens for.

Greetings to the community,

Liviu

Even now a lot many of the ICOs are ongoing, in addition to a few IEOs. So we can say that new ERC-20 tokens are still being created. However, as you said the numbers have definitely fallen. Around 12 months back, we used to have on average 10-12 new ICO projects getting listed every day. And now this number has been reduced by approximately 90%.

SriLanka are confirmed to be playing in T20 Worldcup next year however SriLanka and Bangladesh will play in the group stage of the tournament.
You can read the details here. https://www.icc-cricket.com/media-releases/963607

There are two stages in the T20 World Cup. The main tournament is being called the "Super 12". It includes the 8 top ranking T20 sides and an additional 4 teams from the qualifying phase. And this qualifying phase consists of 8 teams (including Sri Lanka and Bangladesh), and out of them the top 4 will qualify for the Super 12 stage. I wouldn't consider the qualifying phase as a part of the main tournament.
5794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 28, 2019, 04:25:41 PM
Well said. Stars like PV Sindhu and Sunil Chhetri are just a couple of examples in this context. If India could allocate more funds towards other sports, they could emerge as a powerful nation in the Olympics like China.

I don't know why the other sports bodies are becoming like crybabies. The Indian government doesn't spend a penny in developing cricket in the country. On the other hand, it receives huge amount as taxes from the BCCI and the state boards. It is the BCCI (which happens to be a private body), which spends money on promoting cricket in India. But this is not true for the other sports. The other sports receive huge amounts of money as grant every year.
5795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: October 28, 2019, 03:37:42 PM
Think twice before you decide for long term hold with these smaller altcoins. Their acceptability and popularity can change a lot in a relatively short timespan and you need to review your decision to hold every two or three months. In case the coin is going down and the future prospects look bleak, then you need to sell these coins/tokens before they become dormant.
5796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 28, 2019, 03:27:48 PM
It's still good to promote in those states. Who knows what player we can get from there in future? Our country promotes cricket a lot and it's a good thing. We have a good cricket audience and having support from that side will also be good in having a good strength in cricket's audience.

We have enough finance to spend on so I would say it as a good investment.

I am originally from one of these smaller states (Mizoram) and currently living in another small state (Tripura). The Mizoram state team was allowed to participate in the Ranji Trophy for the first time only in 2018. Earlier the BCCI used to ignore these smaller states and all the funding used to go to the larger states. But now they are being forced to provide facilities to the players from the smaller states.
5797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Altcoins? on: October 28, 2019, 01:06:20 PM
There are numerous ways one can earned crypto on the internet, my only advice is that not all coins earned are valuable and one must not be lazy but do his or her due deligence before venturing into whatever activity deemed fit

Well... this is true. Nowadays it is not very difficult to earn cryptocurrencies. There are a lot of different methods, such as airdrops, bounty campaigns, mining, trading.etc. But as you said, not all of these cryptocurrencies may be valuable. Some of them may be pump-and-dump coins, which become worthless in a few months time. Such coins are of no use, and can't be traded or exchanged.
5798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: October 28, 2019, 01:00:21 PM
Investing with multi altcoin kind give you big chance to get profit because all of altcoin have potential to grow up and down, when you put your money in many bracket you have big chance with getting profit, when one altcoin bring you lost you still have chance with anther altcoin to get profit and get big chance with multi kind altcoin investment.

Well... it is partly true. If you invest in 20 or 30 different altcoins, then the chances are that at least two or three of them would give you good returns in the long term. But at the same time, it is not that easy to manage all these coins. You need to install wallets for all these coins and there is a need to track the new developments related to each of them.
5799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: October 28, 2019, 12:54:18 PM
I would disagree with most of the users here. It is true that these scam projects had tarnished the reputation of the cryptocurrency domain to a certain degree. At the same time, they had some positive impact on the users. Earlier, the investors frequently used to pump their money into various shitcoins. Due to the splurge of scams, now most of them have redirected their money towards Bitcoin. And this is very much evident from the rising Bitcoin dominance.
5800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 28, 2019, 12:48:30 PM
Asia is currently leading the cryptocurrency markets, but at the same time, most of the scams and hacks have targeted the users from this region. Almost all of the exchange hacks have targeted cryptocurrency exchanges from Asia. Also, some of the biggest scams (such as the PLUS token scam, which stole more than $3 billion) had their origins in Asia.
