I read the thread and most of the answer is trading! Yes it is true that trading is really a good method of growing your altcoins. But not all of the times you can win, there are risks in trading and there is not trader even he/she is professional that are not experiencing losses.

Sure thing inside trading,it's not everyday win whenever you make your position, a lots of people loves doing this activities in hope that they can make a good executions and earned from this venue of investment.

If you have time and you can do more effort to make good research before taking any action. Continue being optimistic and even you loses your position you can get back if you continue to try harder.

My method would be buying them when they are cheap and selling when they are more valuable. I always use BTC pair but we need to be careful. Think of this week, BTC has fallen amazingly and got a rapid increase of 1300 dollars. These moves make alts going down and even more down. It is impossible to guess those moves of couse but we need to continue trading.

Bitcoin is not sideways these days, if it went sideways I would advice you to trade altcoins with BTC. It is too risky for now. But in general, if we atch market closely we can trade alts with ETH, USDT or BTC pairs. They will be profitable if we can estimate where is the cheap spot and where we can sell that asset.

Yes trading has a high rewards but trading is not that much easy job to do, trading need very much experience, skills and knowledge to be successful, and study about certain coin before trading is very necessary, also the management of trading money and its profit is very important. But if one does not know about the trading coins and market then I think he should stay away from it.

The major problem is that sometimes you buy coins when you think they are cheap and the price falls further. The market is unpredictable but with the right strategies especially in trading, we will excel. I'm been mainly trading alts on USDT/ pair for mid term gains with my stop loss in place, that way I win 70% of my trades. Aside that, of course bounty has been helping out to add more altcoins to my portfolio.

The only 100% safe method is to do mining (either PoW or PoS). From what I have noticed, many of the smaller PoW altcoins have low hash-rates and it is possible to earn good mining rewards even if you do solo mining. If things doesn't work out that well, then you can move to another coin within 1-2 months. PoS mining is a bit more risky. First you need to have a considerable amount of coins in your wallet in order to start PoS mining. Now you need to make an investment here, and you will incur losses in case the exchange rate goes down.

May be the right question for this post is "The best method for increasing the crypto assets".

In my opinion, the three are the best methods. But I prefer Trading & Hold, because it's faster to get profit so the capital doesn't float for a long time.

But if you don't like or don't understand this method, you can try other methods such as mining, gambling, and investing in expert traders.

You could simply earned altcoins or cryptocurrencies by joining signature campaign in this Bitcointalk forum which you don't need any investment, as long you have the requirements that they need for you to participate. You can also do trading and play in gambling sites, but for me the method that i like the most in earning altcoins is trading, even i experienced having losses i still enjoy on the ways or on how i could earn money from it because in every trade that i make i learn a lot of things from it.

There are numerous ways one can earned crypto on the internet, my only advice is that not all coins earned are valuable and one must not be lazy but do his or her due deligence before venturing into whatever activity deemed fit

Well... this is true. Nowadays it is not very difficult to earn cryptocurrencies. There are a lot of different methods, such as airdrops, bounty campaigns, mining, trading.etc. But as you said, not all of these cryptocurrencies may be valuable. Some of them may be pump-and-dump coins, which become worthless in a few months time. Such coins are of no use, and can't be traded or exchanged.

I'm not holding much on altcoins , because for me this year is the best year for daytrading alts.
bitcoin's price quite stable so altcoin movement more agile and i often get 1-3% profits each trade. So, i think i'm growing my altcoins by doing daytrades with another alts and it's worth for this year

HODLing and Trading cryptocurrency is the best way to grow your tokens.
Beginners usually started with HODLing while the professional crypto traders are trading altcoins for more profits.  
Some people like me do both HODLing for bitcoin and trading as well for altcoins. Comparing the two methods tend of give more profits.

Agree, trading is not as easy as many people imagine. Not everyone is suitable for trading because besides requiring technical analysis and knowledge of market movements, trading also requires patience and psychological calmness. Without that, I think we will easily panic and it will be easy to make decisions that bring harm

I think trading cryptocurrency is the most effective way of growing your investment. With crypto trading, people can make lots of money through buying and selling profitable altcoins. Trading cryptocurrency is not easy though as it requires certain knowledge for buying and selling in order to make good profits.

Holding is not really a method to grow your altcoins, the value of your altcoins can grow in fiat but you are not going to get more coins if you just hold, however it is the safest method to grow your wealth if you are new to the markets, but the best way to increase the number of coins you have by far is trading, it is not easy and many are going to lose more than what they earn but the only way to know if you are one of the talented traders out there is to try and see how it goes.

You have the lovely answer which you have made yourself. There is no special secrets I mean you have answered right that to increase the amount of altcoins in your portfolio you can buy altcoins, invest in ICO, participate in bounty campaigns and so on.
Generally, in my opinion it is better to have a few valuable altcoins instead of lots junk ones. I know there is an erroneous opinion that soon or late any altcoin will grow. It is not true, on the contrary the most part of altcoins (I mean not reliable) will become trash therefore make up your portfolio by reliable and valuable altcoins not to be a pity later.
