581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If this repeats it will implode BTC and ALTS on: May 26, 2018, 01:00:19 PM
This is what many of us are worrying about, it is clear that crypto and bitcoin is not going away but this downward trend is lasting longer than many of us expected. Hopefully those figures and stats are nothing to worry about, it is a very unpredictable market after all.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Decentralized Fog Computing Platform on: May 25, 2018, 09:37:07 PM
[...]
It's not just SONM that's looking for real world use. It's all of them. But boy when it happens, you'll be the 1% who foresaw. Don't miss out.

August = real world use  Shocked

So in just over 2 months we are going to see sonm start to moon! I wonder if people are going to risk dumping now and buying back nearer the time. Or just hodl incase there is an early pump with the train leaving the station too quickly
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE READY] 🚀🚀🚀 ONZ - Rewarding Social Content 🔥 on: May 25, 2018, 09:34:00 PM
There isn't volume on the exchanges because the product hasn't' gone live yet. Now that there is a release date for pre-registration it is fair to say that demand will start to increase in the coming months ahead
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you Invest into Crypto Currency on: May 25, 2018, 09:09:53 PM
I think we all saw the news about all these big gains that can be made in crypto so we all jumped on the boat. However, those that joined late last year are going to be having a terrible time right now, if they're still here!
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin are scam nowadays on: May 25, 2018, 09:05:24 PM
You are right, it is difficult to find a good project these days as the developers can simply pack up and walk away with all your investments. All we can do is pick a good project and hope it will continue all the way through until the product is released and the coins get on exchanges
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Verge can do better in future? on: May 23, 2018, 06:27:11 PM
Verge got hacked again so I don't think it will do much better. The code is borked and can be hacked over and over again. It will take a long time to rewrite it so I doubt verge will be considered as a good investment. Perhaps after 1 year if they plug all the security holes
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Argentinian Bank Will Use Bitcoin For International Transactions! on: May 23, 2018, 06:22:08 PM
This is a great step forward for bitcoin. As you can see, there is no need to use ripple in the banking sector as bitcoin can do it perfectly well. Hopefully other banks will follow and it will be easier us to use our bitcoin for legitimate international transactions and everyday life.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where is the tech? on: May 23, 2018, 06:17:18 PM
The new blood are here for the profits without understanding the underlying technology behind it. I'm interested in LISK because they are also starting an academy for newbies to learn more about crypto and blockchain technology. And they will of course be learning about developing javascript DAPPs on the LISK platform
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can somebody steal your btc? on: May 20, 2018, 08:15:45 AM
It is unlikely that your funds will be stolen due to a brute force attack, there are simply too many different combinations. The most likely method is malware stealing your private keys, or you could get mugged for it in a physical assault.
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PURPOSE OF TOKEN? on: May 19, 2018, 08:39:13 AM
Tokens are easier to produce and maintain as it is running on someone else's blockchain. If you create your own coin then you need your own chain and a way of keeping it running and secure. LISK will allow you to make a side-chain along the main blockchain thereby giving you the best of both worlds. LISK is therefore a good investment, product releasing soon Wink
591  Economy / Economics / Re: The Wealthy Are Hoarding $10 Billion of Bitcoin in Bunkers on: May 19, 2018, 08:34:42 AM
The vault itself is secure but it doesn't appear to have an army of security personnel protecting this vast amount of wealth. A co-ordinated attack might be able to breach it a lot easier than a well protected bank. This could the future of armed robberies
592  Economy / Economics / Re: can you imagine bitcoin as your prime currency. on: May 19, 2018, 08:26:29 AM
I can't imagine using it every day as it is too undervalued right now. I prefer to hold bitcoin until it reaches peak value and then use it as a currency at that time. It should reach six figures before it stabilises, I'd give it a few more years before I start to spend it for goods rather than invest in altcoins and ICOs
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education? on: May 19, 2018, 08:18:07 AM
You shouldn't sacrifice education for bitcoin, but there is no reason why it cannot be part of the learning process. There is no guarantee that bitcoin will take off and we don't how long it will last. Education will last a lifetime so always pick that first, and invest in bitcoin while studying.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This week all red on: May 18, 2018, 09:02:41 PM
This is nothing, unless you just signed up in the last few weeks. A minor blip is common on the way up to the top, it is never a smooth ride. The consensus is over, so investors are absorbing all the news and will start to pump the market soon.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Banks will trade cryptocurrency sooner than people think on: May 18, 2018, 08:57:52 PM
Some people were dumping when all this talk of regulation took place late last year. However, this is needed so banks will adopt cryptocurrency and governments start to embrace it. When people realise the benefits involved, there will be a huge bull run as everyone rushes in
596  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto and automobile on: May 18, 2018, 07:23:34 PM
The automobile industry supports a lot of jobs so it is important to maintain a healthy market in this industry. Crypto is a huge source of income, so when there is a dip in regular sales I'm sure that car sellers will start adopting crypto
597  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian bank helps Venezuela defy US cryptocurrency sanctions on: May 18, 2018, 07:19:37 PM
Russia will no doubt adopt blockchain technology so their banks are going to regulate and accept them. Petro is a national currency so why shouldn't Russian banks support it? Just because America does not approve does not mean it shouldn't be done
598  Economy / Economics / Re: Panic selling can contribute to bitcoin price going down? on: May 18, 2018, 07:17:39 PM
Panic selling is normal in crypto trading. It allows experienced traders to buy up loads of cheap crypto, and then at the peak of the bull run they cash in. Newbies that panic sell are simply filling other peoples pockets!
599  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now on: May 18, 2018, 07:15:59 PM
I think he is waiting until bitcoin is worth over 1 million each and when he overtakes bill gates and all the other billionaires he will come out and rule the world! Would be a shame if he is dead, no photo or statues to remember him / her
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's just start using Satoshis when talking about bitcoin on: May 16, 2018, 06:50:19 PM
It would be easier to talk about prices using satoshi measurements and most already do. It's only in the media that they use decimals instead as it isn't an official denomination. It's common here as this is more casual chat and it's easier to talk trade in sats than 0.xxxx btc
