581  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: December 12, 2015, 09:24:53 AM
From reading this thread it certainly looks like satoshidice is going to hell. Reports of missing balances and people not being able to withdraw is a tell-tale sign that something bad is going to happen in the near future with this site likely. I know I used it for about all of 5 minutes before I realized that it was pretty terrible and got the hell out of there. Certainly feels like a scammers den or something.

Hopefully you guys get your issues sorted out above. It certainly looks like customer service or the owner doesn't give a shit that his site is in a state of disarray.
582  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your gambling stategy? Are you risky, or do you prefer slow? on: December 12, 2015, 09:21:51 AM
Personally I'd always had been more of a long odds gambler personally. Never made much sense to risk more than I was set to gain from winning any particular bet. Most of the time I remember I used to shoot for 100x odds or perhaps 20% win chance as I found those sort of wins to be rewarding more-so than other types. As for my gambling strategy these days I honestly try to avoid it. I know know that it's nothing more than expensive entertainment that most of the time ends up with you broke.
583  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can't restore electrum wallet from seed or private key on: December 12, 2015, 09:19:06 AM
A few months back I had to restore my wallet because I lost my 2FA key. When I restored it, I was able to set up a new 2FA. I've had to reset my phone and lost the 2FA again. I tried to restore via seed but was unable to click the next button. My seed is a 25 word seed and I made sure to restore the same wallet type (2FA wallet) and the seed was typed correctly. I then exported my private key to a file and tried to restore via the private key with no luck.

I'm sure my issue is something stupid so go easy on me. Thanks for any help!

Are you using a newer version of electrum by chance? I know that some versions of electrum are not compatible with others brain wallets or restore functionality. I ran into this issue going from electrum 2.0 to electrum 2.5.4 - It wouldn't allow me to use the old pneumonic seed for some reason.

Did you also have private keys imported into the wallet? You will need to re-import any other private keys you had manually imported as your wallet seed will not have included those. Always make sure to back up wallet private keys somewhere.
584  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: F2Pool is directly threatening Bitcoin's future on: December 12, 2015, 09:16:28 AM
I remember when this happened a while back when the ghash.io pool had grown to large proportions and was threatening (or did) have over 50% of the staking power. People were up in arms about the whole matter and I remember many suspecting that they were doing 51% attacks or some other nonsense. Although You are right it is likely best that we distribute the hashing power rather than all lump to one pool, Granted that people are greedy.

What other alternatives exist for people to mine at?
585  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone tried magnr.com Savings feature? on: December 12, 2015, 08:53:54 AM
Anyone tried magnr.com Savings feature? It claims to give 2.18% interest. The team is open https://magnr.com/meet-the-team and they are registered in the UK.

Looks like a shitty wordpress site that has been set up that will end up scamming some folks when they invest..

Not really appealing to me at all.. But I'm sure someone will invest into this bank..

Nice mindless self promotion though.. You almost fooled everyone trying to get them to come to your website and check it out.  Roll Eyes

Seriously though, Obvious scam is obvious. I highly suggest no one use this site.
586  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: yobit start to be similar cryptsy on: December 12, 2015, 08:23:20 AM
hello everyone

till now ,, my withdraw pending in yobit from 50 hours ago
but yobit didnt wrote pending similar cryptsy ,,, they wrote in progress
what i am trying to withdraw was digicube coin

,,,, i think all of these trading system was scam

Yobit has a bunch of wallets and I'm about 95% sure they do alot of their withdrawals manually. I know on a number of occasions I've had to send a ticket into them with the TXID off the deposit and then it would be credited to my account.. I think they may have some bugs in their system though hard to say.. The exchange has like 300+ shitcoins on it so wouldn't be suprised if something wasn't working right.
587  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟Bitvest🌟 ▌Investor Plinko▐ Changeable Rows▐ Multidrop▐ BIG Promo▐ RTP:98.3% on: December 12, 2015, 08:20:30 AM
That is pretty ridiculious how many times you have hit 1250x. Can I ask how many rolls that has been in?

You must have a crazy lucky horse shoe in order to get such luck with bets like that.

I might have had some luck with the 35.3x line that I was using but luck onlye lasts so long. Gotta switch up lines to win this game I think.
Good luck on hitting your next 1250. Long odds gambling is far more entertaining in my opinion.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your biggest loss gambling? on: December 12, 2015, 08:18:24 AM
About 25 BTC or so when the whole KLYEMAX thing fell apart. Been busy trying to get the site done though and hoping for a launch in the new year.
Gambling is great when you are winning but feels terrible when you are losing.. I have seen people win thousands of dollars and lose it only just minutes later because of adrenaline or tilting or something.. its terrible and I can't imagine. Gambling gave me a bunch of debt but also ambition to make my projects regardless so I can clear my name and get my businesses working. People mess up.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hi im new and have no idea waht im doing on: December 12, 2015, 08:08:53 AM
title. can you guys explain how to mine cryptocurrency?

There are plenty of different types of crypto out there and many need certain types of hardware in order to mine.
Mining BTC with a laptop is dead and gone now with the advent of ASIC technology. Although there are still plenty of GPU and CPU mineable coins.
I would suggest maybe taking a look at an exchange and seeing what has a good price before you go and waste electricity on mining.
If you are interested in BTC mining I would maybe reconsider. It's very hot and noisey and the payouts arent that great when you factor in electricity.

590  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: December 12, 2015, 08:05:16 AM
Yes. I earn atleast 1mBTC or 2 a day (sometimes way more) by chatting in the 2 chats on Bitvest.
The site features 2 chat rooms that each have rainbots. and a 75 second faucet you can use to gamble to mBTC withdraw.
Just by hanging around the site you can make alot of mBTC. I know one user had made .08 BTC just by chatting there in 2 weeks.
I would highly suggest checking it out if you want to earn but are tired of faucets and their advertisement spammage.

Click my signature ad below to check out Bitvest.io - Earn free mBTC for chatting!
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Get your own ALT DICE - Fun-Profit-Dev - you keep the profits, no monthly fee's on: December 12, 2015, 06:43:15 AM
The script this guy is installing is backdoored to fuck just to let you all know. It's clearly a rip of johnny's infamous dice script.
You're likely to lose anything in the wallet if you set this site up and run it. It's not secure and very prone to database injection.
The admin panel is also easily hacked and on install it puts a backdoored admin account into the database last I checked.

If you are looking to get a dice script set up but don't want to get hacked. Shoot me a PM.
592  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: December 12, 2015, 04:02:37 AM
Well considering Hillary Clinton is supposedly a woman.. The answer is obvious there (For those of you not well versed in women, the answer is NO).

First they get a black dude in there.. Then Next a woman? Someone is seriously trying to fuck with america to play puppets in the shadows to get that sort of shit to happen. Poor America. Honestly I'd vote trump. He's and asshole but atleast you aren't going to expect him to go fucking beserker on some other country when he gets his period or whattever.
593  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.02 Loan on: December 12, 2015, 03:25:16 AM

I am not trying to sell my account i am ready to put thiz member account and my another potential full member account. As the collaterals are worth of minimum 0.07 btc.

Thanks i need loan urgent.

Your accounts aren't worth shit and I highly advise anyone in supporting account farming or whattever gambling addiction you're trying to feed with this .02 loan.

In all honesty accounts have no value. And as a forum we should stand against people selling and trading accounts and stop honouring them with value.
Account farming and whatnot makes the forums look like shit in my humble opinion. Your mileage may very but I ask why we support this activity?
594  Economy / Digital goods / Re: (WTS) Eobot Account on: December 12, 2015, 03:00:40 AM
A way to get your money out is to convert your GH/S 2.0 Into a 24 hour rental and then mine some shitcoin with it and sell it for money.
However you will lost about 1/4 or your investment or so it seems.. but atleast you'll be able to get some money out of it.
They don't do refundsa and I'm 100% sure the site is a ponzi... oh well. good luck getting your money back sir!
595  Other / Off-topic / Re: When did you go to bed last night? (Daily thread) on: December 11, 2015, 01:47:04 PM
Go to bed last night?! HAH, Sleep isn't profitable and I'm a devout insomniac!

But honestly though, my natural sleep schedule seems to be like 2 days awake, sleep for 12 hours.
It's not bad considering I'm a lowly web developer.. But at the same time the "normal" folks around me think I'm odd for running these hours.
One of these days going to try and implement a tesla like sleep schedule and power nap every few hours for 45 minutes or so.
596  Other / Off-topic / Re: Legendary account on: December 10, 2015, 09:59:14 PM
I'd offer you 25 warmed cockels and a salty walter in the back alley behind the bar.

But honestly though I think your account would be worth like .5 BTC or so at the max i believe.

Not sure what the going rate for legendary accounts is these days, But I imagine it's somewhere in the ballapark of where I stated above.
Honestly I wouldn't sell your account though.. Its awesome to have such a thing and to have been in the BTC ecosystem so long.
597  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ban Donald Trump on: December 10, 2015, 08:36:30 PM
Donald Trump is basically an asshole.. But I merit some respect for the lad. Atleast he's not afraid to speak his mind.

People are way to fast to get butthurt these days imho. It's honestly sport to piss off people that are easily offended in my eyes.
Granted I'm likely an asshole to.. So I sympathize more with the dude. Perhaps he will actuallly get elected and turn America into something decent.
Obama certainly ran shit into the ground.. How much worse could Trump really fuck things up? VOTE TRUMP!
598  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using Tor while gambling.. any problems? on: December 10, 2015, 04:29:19 AM
As far as i know alot of sites ban tor as its been used in the pass to abuse sites and evade IP bans and whatnot.
I can understand from a site owners perspective why they would not allow tor. It's also terribly slow.

You might have better luck luck just using a regular old proxy and visiting the gambling sites you are use that way.
Use of tor likely flags your system for the NSA to watch as well.. It is govt technology afterall./
599  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Blog on: December 10, 2015, 04:03:54 AM
Great.. So here we have a site full of shitty faucets and spyware phone apps.. awesome.

I'll give you a little tip. Instead of wasting your time making shitty blog sites that no one is going to use on less than legit looking TLD's why not learn some actual web development skills and offer a site that is useful for crypto? Just a bit of a thought...

Honestly though, You're taking a step in the right direction.. You just need to apply yourself more.

This all looks like some ellaborate post to have people click your referral link to be 100% honest.. You should likely reconsider posting stuff that has referral links as its primary interest as the moderators are likely to remove your post.. Which in turn fucks the people who put faith in your little contest... I dunno I'd be wary of this offering personally.
