How do you figure?  If they already know they're going to be late and they don't say so, they are untrustworthy.

Personally I'd rather them be overt crooks and just lie, than be silent pussies (afraid to lie overtly but not afraid to just bury crucial information that their customers need).

You know that its a BUSINESS right? As in they are doing this to make a profit. How would it help them if they came out now and said "were going to be a couple weeks late". Refunds would skyrocket, meanwhile in the next couple days after that statement, things are back on track. Its best to just say nothing and carry on. Just be PATIENT. come October 15th, if they haven't delivered a single unit, then feel free to bitch. in the meantime, put on your big boy pants and sit tight.

Looks quite busy to me.

It would take them 30 seconds to say "still on schedule".

or is it you that is the "pussy" who cant wait calm and patiently and freaks out since you dont get a daily "everything is ok" hug from KNC.

ROI doesn't look so good for October delivery.

Anyone else consider asking for refund?

For the record, it's late September in some places. Looks like early September is down the tubes.

Why even bother paying back the loan if you get it? Is your week-old forum account (which cost you nothing to create) worth that much to you that you'd pay back $17,000+ USD equiv? Fuck no, if you get the loan, just bounce and never log in again.

If someone is willing to give the loan, then they can directly pay to pinwheel, using a escrow (He has ready equipment here in India, I have access to free 5 KW power).

I will pay back the loan with interest and rest is mine. Its that simple.

I know 150 BTC is HUGE But still worth asking as I am not asking this amount to my account, it has to be sent to pinwheel's address for buying the equipment.

But i see, this thread is creating lot of problem for many (I dont know Y?)

its creating problems because you HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. Go get a job and save up or get a bank loan. stop begging for 17k.

E-mailed KNC about pre-configuring multiple machines for hashing and this was the response. For those of us hoping for a BTC windfall during burn-in, we might be disappointed.

Dear Dana,

If you mention your pool worker in “My Account”, both of your miners will be pre-configured with this information.

The live net burn-in will be done by using your pool and other details that you mention in common information for pre-configuration of your miner.

The burn-in will take about 5-20 seconds.

Okay, this is the part I'm confused about.  We can change the configuration right?  "Burn-in" is not permanent right?  I have a Jupiter coming Day 2 and another in "October."  Maybe I'll just change my info after the first one is "burned-in."

no no, you are misunderstanding what burn-in is. its not "burning in the info to the chip" its turning on the chip to make sure it runs properly after heat and stress testing it, to make sure it doesnt fail. its about the physical chip, nothing to do with worker details.

They are only going to power up, not even time for things to heat up. What BS. They aren't going to risk pushing their chips in case they fail. In which case, a lot of defective units are going to be shipped to customers  Angry

i bet they meant minutes, not seconds.
