What’s the total supply of BCNX tokens? Also, what happens to unsold tokens at the end of your STO?
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 23, 2019, 10:18:38 PM
Just received my swap tokens less than 24 hours. Thank you. Anyone who has received tokens, airdrop or bounty campaign, from Minedblock can read information about how to swap tokens from ERC20 to ST20, here: https://medium.com/@MinedBlock/how-to-swap-erc20-to-st20-mbtx-tokens-64ae6075ab2f

I have some MBTX tokens I earned from Minedblock bounty while promoting their ICO token sales last year. I’ll like to swap these for the STO tokens. Btw swap within 24hours, that was fast, I would have expected the swap to take much longer time. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Right, me too think pre-sale will continue untill ico goes on. Once finished then we will come to know soft/hard cap reached or not.

Presale will go on until March end. This is what I remember from popular ICO review sites when I saw the project first.

I must commend Minedblock team on getting a good rating on most popular ICO Review sites. I hope Minedblock team gives more updates on progress of the token sales.

I think there should be a counter on your website showing the progress of the token sale and amount of time tokens sold. When do investors expect first return from mining after the token sales is over?

I like the team here to talk about the machine they aim to use in the mining service, I learned using ASIC is not economically feasible and unsustainable, how does the team aim to make money from their operation?

They plan to use ASIC miners but I’m not sure the miners has been purchased just yet. They should do more research on the best miners available and get them at the best price.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 14, 2019, 08:41:21 PM
I understand Minedblock is licensed to sell their tokens unlike most mining project scams, but older mining projects like genesis had to cancel unprofitable contracts due to the price of BTC falling and mining hashrate going higher, how does Minedblock plan to realize profits both for themselves and token holders in a bearish market trend?

That's something I am also wondering. When they are calculating with electricity costs of around $0.044 per kWh, what would be the price of BTC (or the other crypocurrencies that they plan to mine) where they break even?

I know they would get cheaper electricity as well as some other mining cost, but how about in the long term? I want to know how they plan to keep making profit if BTC/altcoins goes lower.

Are you referring to the Token Distribution? If I can point you towards the WP https://www.minedblock.io/assets/MinedBlockWhitepaper.pdf our Token Distribution is outlined in there.

But in summary to your questions: As a Security Token we would only Mint the amount of tokens sold, from this figure 95% will be distributed to the token holders and 5% spread equally to the founding team, so there wouldn't be unsold tokens  Smiley

It makes more sense now knowing the team would mint only the right amount of tokens sold. With these estimations, 95% to 5% would be constant all the way.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 12, 2019, 09:53:22 PM

Especially as we (the founders) will only profit from holding tokens, so you can trust in the work ethic we have, because if you (the investor) aren't making a profit, neither are we!

It’s great to have someone from the team. 95% of revenue is distributed to investors (token holders) and maintaining the facility, how else would the team make profit from their hardwork? Is there an amount of the total Minedblock tokens allocated to the team?
Finally, what happens to unsold tokens (if any) at the end of the token sales?
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 12, 2019, 12:18:06 PM

Two things about Minedblock model makes it stand out and unique

First, they protect investors by issuing STO tokens.
Secondly, it states on the whitepaper, they’ll maximize profits by using green energ and, mining the most profitable tokens

How the term protection is used here? Still we don't know how STOs would be and especially when it is listed in market. Are they going to have separate exchanges for STOs with well controlled regulations?

STOs are the best we got now because they are registered. The whitepaper says Minedblock is registered in UK. And I think they’ll need a licensed exchange to trade.

I saw a post asking about listing Minedblock tokens some days back. I, like most investors, am new to STO token sales, listing and what ever should come next. It would be nice to see the team talk about that.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 09, 2019, 11:06:17 PM
Beside to be the first SEC approved STO, in reading the info about the project on the website and on this thread I don't actually understand the innovation / the unicity / the core of this business.

There should be an AMA or a vlog on Minedblock. It looks like an amazing project that has secured funds for investors being that it’s an STO Token but I’ll like to ask some questions about the their miners and how they plan to cut costs.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 08, 2019, 10:31:17 AM

Currently most projects gaining at this point, seeing their token value increasing are using this approach of AMA, it always works, so far following the information on this thread I wouldn't expect less from the team in months to come

That’s right. I see AMA as a promotion strategy too. AMA and Mertups gives the community and anyone interested in Minedblock and opportunity to know more about the projects and how much they’ve achieved so far.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 07, 2019, 03:49:18 PM
Will all token holders not just institutional investors  be able to observe (not participate in) the mining process and facility from day 1? Or will it be completely private investors and partners?

Very important for transparency and to be sure this isn’t like one of those mining scams. Minedblock team should do a YouTube on the proposed location, facility, mining equipment and the team. I think an AMA/Meetups where we get to talk to the team would be great.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 06, 2019, 08:53:36 PM
I believe security tokens like Minedblock, will be a key component of future cryptocurrency markets and of blockchain technology adoption. It has the potential to considerably reduce many frictions among which regulations makes the top of the list.

It’s a step towards worldwide acceptance and adoption. But how about listing on an exchange? Few months back, binance signed a partnership with Malta stock exchange to launch STO tokens trading and getting a broker license is required for any exchange willing to trade STO Tokens.
What’s Minedblock plan to getting listed being an STO ?

I know discussions about getting listed on an exchange should come much later after distribution or token sales, and there are just a few reasons anyone would want to sell his/her Minedblock tokens, but it’s would be great to know liquidity of Minedblock tokens would be easy. Being the first STO tokens issued by a mining project, it shouldn’t be difficult getting listed, but are your options limited to exchanges with broker license?
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 05, 2019, 12:23:48 PM
Although there are just a few projects which are licensed to issues STO tokens, Would you be able to provide me info how you guys are attracting customers to your exchange with all the competition and bearish market trend?

That’s right. Promotions are vital. At first glance, Minedblock is one of the few projects with the license to issue STO Tokens. There was a bounty to promote the ICO sales tokens sales few months back. I’ll suggest the team have another bounty or airdrop to promote STO tokens sales.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 04, 2019, 10:03:03 PM
That’s right according to your whitepaper. On a 1 token to 1 shares on Minedblock project, why would anyone want to sell off Minedblock tokens in the buyback program. IDK but that’s certainly a good way to drive the price in the market while rewarding early investors.
599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - MinedBlock - STO - Pre-Sale Live 15th February on: March 04, 2019, 04:40:19 PM
One country has to make the first move. I don’t know how long it’s going to take but I guess it’s going to happen soon. Let’s hope Germany regulations comes out positive.

I’ll like to know, how does Minedblock plan to share updates on mining profits and cost? With investors not being a part of the mining process, I’ll like to know how Minedblock team plans to be transparent with profits?
