Crave Native I2P: That is amazing, goodbye to all the accusations too of Tor being "unsafe"... you now have an I2P choice !!

Come on ICM don't let SLING drop the market first. Apparently it's coming may 7th
no way dude, sling will drop market after icm open source it Yes, from the looks of it, seems like they're copying a lot of stuff from CRAVE. IMO, sling seems just a clone with the intentions stemming from pump and dump groups - nothing new.

@Dooglus Has the bootstrap.dat for clams been linearized? Similar to doing something like this (so no orphans or forks in bootstrap.dat) - https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/tree/master/contrib/linearizeTrying to figure out how to do that for PoS coins like yours.. do you happen to have an example linearize-data.py in that regards? Thanks for any help and help you've provided in the past! Well, yes, that's what a bootstrap.dat file *is*. You just write all the blocks in the main chain into a file one after the other. I added a command 'dumpbootstrap' to clamd that creates the bootstrap.dat file rather than writing a separate Python script to do it. You can probably just merge the commit into your coin. Hmm.. I thought that python script stripped out all the orphan blocks.. and "to create a no-fork best chain version" as it states. If I write out all the blocks into one file, I see the client trying to work through all the orphan blocks when importing.. (tail -f debug.log to see the messages). I'll look at dumpbootstrap, thank you.

FYI if people dump this its because they want take profit to ride the twitter hypecoin of the day See crave is still riding support/resistance lines just fine I think I'll go make a hypecoin now Clone crave and call it hypecoinDark. Or how about bigDarkDickCoin...

If anyone knows someone with good python skills and knowledge of the blockchain..
I have a non-linearized bootstrap.dat but it obviously has orphans, and was trivial to make / copy blk0001.dat into a bootstrap.dat file - so that's not what we're looking for.
It would help if they could help create a linearized bootstrap.dat
I think the dev is too busy right now coding other things.
I also think there is similarities between other PoS coin's linearization scripts, so maybe they would help, seeing how the bitcoin one needs modification. My python skills are too limited right now.
Thanks to anyone who can jump in on this and help out...

Some people didn't get the memo

Might be no more cheap master nodes soon

Yeah... just like I said you copied it into it. From your page: COPY /b blk0001.dat+blk0002.dat bootstrap.dat That isn't linearized, and has the original orphans in it. run tail -f debug.log when importing and I can see the orphans. You need to do this: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/tree/master/contrib/linearizeThen show me the bootstrap.dat from that

Almost done with the native I2P integration I updated the code for the latest secp256k1 and will get that checked in soon as well. That's awesome.. I hope you could look at the linearize-data.py I pm'd you about ... when / if you get time

Is that linearized... or you just copied/renamed blk0001.dat into it? In other words does it have all the orphans... ? bootstrap.dat with orphans won't import for me past certain blocks. Edit: meh .. 30.5 MB size ... its got all the orphans. no made it properly using this list of nodes: addnode=104.238.174.13 addnode=107.191.46.130 <snip> and with version v1.4.2.0-g32a928e no copy and rename test it out pls So which linearize script did you use? Could I please see it?

Working on trying to linearize the blockchain data to create a bootstrap.dat that will import... If someone else wants to help too.. you run these python scrypts.. Construct a linear, no-fork, best version of the blockchain. https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/tree/master/contrib/linearizeSo we can get a decent bootstrap.dat ( not just blk0001.dat renamed or cat'd into bootstrap.dat) for importing ... I worked with it more... used linearize from another coin.. https://github.com/rat4/blackcoin/tree/master/contrib/linearizeNote: have to install ltc_scrypt: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/ltc_scrypt/1.0Now it shows this: <snip>... Skipping unknown block 32c0b33e94fd27533515ec55adb33c0377509816b96e1f565013b06755e8c834 Skipping unknown block d6d90d22cd1a6de7f7929d46f772d9d9529ed12f972b17bcb3f62db3338c800c Skipping unknown block 36f2ffc2e00bf179870819e72e5e1753640bb5b6d2f429d138a633ad434014ba Skipping unknown block 2738e38166ec431af3079183316325768be8bc0409abbff20b463047b526b2dc Input file/home/username/.crave/blk0002.dat Done
bootstrap.dat is created, but is only about 189 bytes in size... so I'm guessing something still is not right.. ?
