again, read what I wrote at the beginning.
There aren't any optimized kernels for the nano. That's why they are slow. Just mine ETH with it.
They are definitely not slow. Do you own one? X11, just fired up one again, 17Mhz without even optimizing settings. (+ older drivers work better..) Just rename the hawaii bin that is included in the nice hash package to Fiji and it'll work just fine. Hi Eliovp Thanks a lot for your suggestions, unfortunately you seem to be a very lucky person, because of we're struggling a lot Would you be so kind to upload maybe the entire nicehash miner version in dropbox, or something like that, so I could do further testing? Please report these elements: type of os, and 32/64 bit version driver number, if WHQL or beta possibly type of VGA (you've got a fury right? That could be the issue..) type of nicehash miner revision benchmark screen of nicehash, also with the other algo values (to compare the similarities) have you tried also to mine directly dash, maybe on suprnova? That could be easier for us Thank you Sure thing! Windows 10 64Bit Driver, just upgraded to 16.4.1, hash rate is a little beter. Nah, R9 Nano's "i 'had' the fury's." It's the 5.1.0 version with the hawaii bins that are included renamed to Fiji. I do not use the Nicehash software. I take the sgminer version and it's binaries out of the "bin" folder and run it from there. No i haven't, i just mined to Nicehash. Here's the one i use, i included my config X11.conf (change your btc address) and run Nicehash x11.bat https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_cBBoZ_PTwOSTNaRTVycm9acG8Good luck!

Great success. I have some problems with the driver crashing. Using windows 7 64 SP1 with Radeon 15.12 drivers. It usualy crash when i press the start menu or file explorer etc, but if i get the mining started its stable until i cancel the program. then it crashes and hangs the computer. Strange EDIT: Fixed with disabling Aero.. Haha, you were quicker than me. I know it happens, had it too. Further it should run smoothly. Have fun!!

Will you share the latest modded rom that is stable?
The main link isnt working anymore either.
Not yet sure about the latest one. Still testing to get it perfectly stable. The Nanomod.zip link in your OP doesn't seem to work?
Link is fixed! Click it again

Yeah.. being able to mine to my own running proxy is a must for me. "Login.worker style".. Nice work none the less.

changed it. No there is no way you can change it (yet) Again, i have so much to update. My list is only growing lately.. I will get some time to sorten things out though. Maybe i'll add a registration part so people can add/modify configs. I'm the only one who can allow/modify them at this moment. Maybe that will change as well. Never thought this would be such a success. Thx for your submission none the less! Oh yeah, i changed the speed to the average because the filter option would go crazy on it if i left it as you submitted it Also need to to some changes to that.... Like i said, todo list is only growing..

hi eliovp
at first, congrats for the nice achievement
It must be said that the nano it's very interesting regarding the power requirements, especially with the stock downvolt capability.
Considering the measurements in W as the PEAK values, and the Speed in MH/GH as the minimum ones (average ones a 10% more), I managed to let it work:
ETH - dagger hashimoto: from 88.5W(16.5MH) to 232W(26.5) DCR - blake256 8: from 202.25W (1,980GH), and higher than 217.25W (2,264GH) X11 - no more than 7.1MH on nicehash 5.1.0, where it's reported at 20MH (WIN 10 Pro 64 bit and WIN 8.1 Ultimate 64 bit)
Have you made tests in regard (X11 nicehash)?
About power consumption of R9 390 and Fury/FuryX, have you gathered any reliable, real, information?
An R9 290 will need at least 289W on X11(13.5MH) and the same amount with ETH(25)
Thank you
Hey Nikolaj I managed to get that 88.5W you have there for Ethereum, to get the same, well even less power usage but @ 22-23Mh/s. So you could go A LOT lower on power usage vs performance. Regarding Blake, i haven't done any testing for Decred lately, only when it just came out. X11, well to be honest, tried to run it earlier this day on a rig of mine. But Failed miserably, must be the drivers because i know i have done a test in the past with older drivers. Here is a screenshot of that test http://s29.postimg.org/a745dros7/X11.pngI did however manage to run Quark on a 6xNano rig. here's the picture of that. i included the config for that (X11 config is a bit different, i'll get you that as well) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_cBBoZ_PTwOa2xjMXFQWktnYi1rQUh4SERpdWNmSllTV0I0As you can see in that picture, only gpu 1 & 2 are doing what they need to do. That is because of the miner. It's a hack, it works if you have less than 3 cards, but if you have more or 3 it starts to screw around. As you can see in this picture, it screws around with 3 cards as well, Third card is doing it alright. (this is also an older test with older drivers.) http://s29.postimg.org/wrd0jqypj/quark.pngX11 Config for Sgminer 5.1.0 (nice hash release) {

Mm don't think i ever said that.
What i could have said is that you can lower the core clock voltage to a minimum of -100mV for Fiji.
You canNot change memory voltage with software. You can only do this with a hardmod. (Fiji and 3** series).
Have you mod the memory voltage of the R9 390 cards? If so, do you mind upload a bios file to share with us? I haven't, sorry. I could look into this later though.

16.1.1 drivers on Windows 10. That'll get you there

How low can the memory voltage go? What was the original memory voltage? Just want to save some energy.
Well i'm @ -150mV at this moment and still running stable. Will let you know when i hit bottom.. Anyhow, for those that want to see some more in stead of some numbers i wrote down here. A little video showing the first Rom (the one i shared here), a quick run, nothing special, just stock rom with nothing extra changed. Link To MovieTurn down your sound and sorry for the "not so optimal" quality.. What is the original stock memory voltage and the value after mod with your bios editor. For your sapphire 390 cards, what is the stock memory voltage? Stock memory voltage = 1.3v, i lowered it to 1.2v. Still testing and going lower to find the sweet spot Lowering this is only possible with a hardmod. For a 390 (hawaii) the stock memory voltage is 1.5v. Again, you cannot change this with software. You'll need to hardmod to change that. For the 2** series you can change this with software.

What program do you use to mod the R9 nano.
I would like to mod the R9 390 memory voltage. We do not need faster memory for Eth.
You could try HawaiiBiosReader (check a couple of post above..) Have you changed the R9 390 memory voltage before? It seems we only need 1250 MHz memory speed instead of 1500 MHz. Yeah but i can do that in Afterburner for the Sapphire R9 390. So not needed to mod the bios. How low can the memory voltage go? What was the original memory voltage? Just want to save some energy. You can also just select all those dag files (WHILE running ethminer) and delete them. Windows will tell you which ones are in use and cannot be deleted. So you won't delete to much or leave to much on there

It's funny to see my comparison website still being shared around with the direct IP. "Not that i mind :p". I've added a domain for it from the first week it went online :p www.mininghwcomparison.com :p But i'm happy it's being used

it's probably due to windows 10 and the lastes drivers catalyst, you need to search the correct drivers, probably some old drivers that can give you the full hashrate
Got best hash rate from the 16.1.1 release. Tried several others. That one came out best (also on windows 10)

The R9 Nano modded Rom comes out a few days too later. I already bought some R9 390. Otherwise, I would have bought sapphire Nano.
yeah i'm sorry about that.. could have shared it sooner.. my bad! 390 isn't bad either! You'll have fun with that as well! Greetings! Changed the OP with some new info :-)
