Fair enough. Better to take our time and do these things properly, especially if it's a hardfork. We still have a good community here who believe in this coin.

I think folks on 4chan are working under the hood of the code to try to reboot this thing with an interest bearing POS (Proof of Stake) feature. If successful, this could be a pretty nice new feature of the coin to grab attention from an investment perspective. Look at some of the other stake coins. Has anyone every successfully made such a huge change to the tech underneath the coin? What would happen theoretically to the existing coins at a hard-fork with such a significant change?
I'm not aware of anyone having added PoS to a PoW coin before as the changeset is huge and far off the initial proposal for PoW coins.
What is needed is likely rebasing to novacoin or similar and importing our current blockchain and lots of testing.
Should all the important new features be voted for by the community?
The POS is a fundamental change. We do not want it to be imposed on us.
It's just an idea so far but very appealing for several reasons. Would the community like to have a poll related to it?
