If comparing POW with POS then of course POW will be the better choice because it brings decentralization but the collapse of exchanges, specifically FTX in recent days, I think has nothing to do with POS. All the people who lost money in the FTX crash are aware of the risks of putting their money in FTX but they chose the risk to seek profit and they were too subjective to trust FTX completely. Proof of work is far more secured than proof of stake algorithm since pow give us decentralization and prove of stake open us up to centralization of the network, since with proof of stake, the wallet with the highest stake volume control the network confirmation and this give power to few whales that can tempered with the transaction process since their have the higher stake volume. But then pow also have its own shortcomings and one of them is the energy consumption by miners, but even that is taken care of by the use of another source of energy supply. POW's energy consumption as well as bitcoin's would be justifiable because it creates value for everyone, I hardly care about the government's bullshit accusations about POW's energy problem. Just like industry or technology today, everything consumes electricity and generates waste. But as long as it creates real value it's not wasteful and normal. |

The level of the Europa League has increased a lot after the teams from the Champions League have come here. It has got close to the Champions League I mean. There are really powerful teams in this round already. The number of favourites for the Europa League title has also increased quite much.
For now just as they are my favourite, Arsenal are the biggest title contender according to bookmakers. Barcelona and Manchester United follow respectively. I'd like to see Barcelona eliminating the Red Devils. And a finale like Arsenal - Barcelona would be amazing.

In short you should know that this won't happen overnight because bitcoin is not a "get rich quick" scheme! Your houses, your choice, but you could also just rent out the houses, and use the profit to speculate, ie: bitcoin and lottery tickets that way if btc drops to $100 , you did not lose your entire investment, just a year or so of rental income. Seems like nobody loves Len's performance of late they got to win today against Clermont who haven't won them last five game's in League 1. Shout out to Len's for impressive performance in the first half impressing the fans by having full dominance of the match but all of that came to short when they conceded first by allowing score from a long range. Which saw them conceding for a Very long time at home.
Powerful second half as they hustled to get those three points back for the supportive home fans who did from start to end. They stills sit second place to Paris Saint Germans who are above them with two points although with a game to play from League 1 giants. They should be very happy for themselves this season, the hardwork will pay off not so early but soon, they still need to be consistent.
Clermont is not doing well currently. They do not have even one win in the last five matches. So, they will have to improve very quickly. The next match is against LOSC. So, it is not going to be easy at all for them. If you are Clermont right now and you want to start winning and end your losing streak, you would not want to face LOSC in your next match. I honestly do not think that they will be able to win their next match. The opponent that they are facing, LOSC is in better form right now, compared to Claremont. And that is going to be a big factor. |

Based on what I understand on FTX current situation. User can still get there funds once the FTX manage to file for bankruptcy to liquidate there assets for paying back customer money. Even Mt Gox is now paying back there customers after a long year while FTX is a regulated exchange on US which means users is protected by the law and has a chance to claim back there funds.
But the inconvenience of can’t use your money out of exchange is frustrating and the chance to wait for a long time just to claim it like Mt Gox all over again.
What you say is true, but unfortunately FTX is only registered for business in the US so US users will definitely be protected by law, so they will get their assets back. But in other countries the chance of getting it back will be very low, they will be compensated if FTX can afford it and FTX really wants to return the assets to them, otherwise users cannot sue or be protected by law. |
