581  Economy / Economics / Re: Debate: Bitcoin vs Gold with Anthony Scaramucci and Peter Schiff on: September 05, 2021, 05:14:31 PM
Going all in on gold is just as stupid as going all in on bitcoin.

The finance minister of my country once said that in the US and Europe the level of education and type of work is not much different from my country which is clearly still in the developing category.  But what She highlights about the highest difference is that people in the US and Europe work just as normal but their assets work hard for their income.

Investment literacy should be much better here.  How can someone only depend on 1 asset because that is the same as piling all the risk on one asset.  As you explained, there are so many assets that can be used in our asset portfolio according to the level of risk.  Because automatically, the higher the risk, the higher the profit.

Gold and Bitcoin in terms of risk are much different.  Although some people think Bitcoin is digital gold, it is much different, especially from the level of risk.  Arguing 2 different things will lead to high bias.  So that their debate is actually not fair.  How can you compare 2 assets with very different levels of risk.

Right now Arteta main focus should be to win these two easy matches in upcoming weeks.

Although he is focused on Arsenal's next match, Arteta's dismissal is already very clear, the possibility of this dismissal can also be predicted in October.  Moreover, the international break is taking place and the arsenal team that defends the England national team is not so much so that the adaptation between the new coach and the players can take place well.  Whatever result Arsenal get in his game against Norwich will not help much for Arteta.  The focus of management is more on the change itself.  However, the possibility remains subject to change until an official announcement from the club itself.
583  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 05, 2021, 12:27:04 PM
Fees are still not fixed with Roobet I guess and it changes from time to time depends on the market situation, I just withdraw some funds and I see no problem at all so I also don’t know if the fees here are not collected since he received the same amount of his withdrawals, if ever then he’s so lucky for not paying a huge fees.

Maybe some people here are confused by what I said before.  But I will explain again, in 2020 I once withdrew my profit from my Roobet balance which was around 300$ and after I did the process, I intended to withdraw the whole amount but because I was subject to a medium fee of around 5$ at that time, I received only  295$ on the other hand, the 5$ fee that should have been taken by the management was not immediately deducted.  At that time, the remaining 5$ went back into my Roobet balance, meaning management did not take any fees from my transactions.  Did I see it wrong then?  or indeed Roobet's withdrawal fee system does not directly cut the fee.  So far, I have only made deposits and have never withdrawn funds.  So I don't know what's going on.

Manchester United have done their best to build a strong squad to win the Premier League and Champions League titles.
It seems that they are a very strong team with Ronaldo in the team. However, Chelsea and Manchester City are on their side in the title fight.
We can enjoy a competitive Premier League.

Although United have bought Ronaldo in the hope of winning the Champion's league title or in the premier league, this cannot guarantee that his condition is as expected.  Because previously at Juve, Ronaldo also couldn't bring Juve to win the Italian league as far as I know.  So don't put your hopes too high on this new player transfer effort. Chelsea and City are still strong teams.
585  Economy / Economics / Re: Recent advertisement for Visa - what a joke on: September 04, 2021, 05:37:43 PM
"A network for everyone": Yeah Sully, tell that to all the third-party credit card processors that need to interface with Visa and all have different criteria for accepting your transaction.

Come to think of it, we need a goddamn advertising agency too. Will help to clear all the misconceptions people have about Bitcoin. It will probably be privately funded by someone but that won't be a problem so as long as they got good intentions for Bitcoin.

Yes, I also think the same thing that it seems that we really need advertisements that are literate to the public that Bitcoin as a cryptocurrency has many things that banking products don't have and this is safe, not a kind of stupid investment but innovation on traditional versions of currencies that provide solutions to many  the inability of the bank to cover it.  But talking about who will start the ad seems to be more reasonable for the management of current exchanges like Binance etc.  Because the higher the level of public literacy, the more funds that enter the exchange and the larger the market capitalization of Bitcoin.  But does this not violate government regulations in each country?
586  Economy / Economics / Re: Masters in Blockchain and Digital Currency on: September 04, 2021, 04:20:28 PM
I dunno why but for me, I dont choose any major just for a future career because I found my self always get job in another field which is different with my background major. So, if you choose the major for master degree I just suggest one thing. You have to know well ur self, what do you want to learn more spesific or what thing make you interested then you choose it. Dont think that how about career or another things, thats just a side effect which always change.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 04, 2021, 01:38:52 PM
Has anyone bet on Arsenal in its match against norwich.  Seeing the low-level team matches there is not so much hope for the result.  But overall the Arsenal vs Norwich match provides a greater opportunity for Arsenal.  But not at the odds in the match.  Arsenal doesn't seem to have big support.
588  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 04, 2021, 12:22:05 PM

Withdrawal fee shouldn't be an issue if the complainer make use of the alternative crypto which was implemented by the Roobet admin as the solution to the possible high fee of Bitcoin and Ethereum which will always happen during the bullish market.
Therefore, she has to accept that the mistake is from her end.

I have an experience to withdraw my profit from Roobet.com, and just for once.  I never withdraw anymore, when I use standard fee the speed of transaction just for an hour and I looked at my balance, it only decreases according to how much I withdraw even the transaction fee count is left in the balance.  Did I see wrong at the time?

Looks like you have to put a deposit in an even larger amount.  Because of my experience, when our balance is low, we usually always lose.  But with bigger balances I've had luck.  High risk High Return in the dice game because it is 100% based on luck. But if it's too risky then choose a game that is not fully regulated by the website for example Poker but it's a different site because here there is no menu to play it

591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting bitcoin as payment for my business on: September 02, 2021, 05:15:24 PM
Im also glad to know there are business who will accept crypto so ere is no need to transfer or convert every now and then which is sometimes troublesome. Having bitcoin to use in transaction can help.

I don't know how the development of Bitcoin legality in Nigeria is, but as far as I know the government is starting to worry about crypto trends in society.  However, I'm sure OP understand better about it.  Because the business of a legitimate payment system must refer to the regulations of the government itself.
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next US president pro-bitcoin? on: September 02, 2021, 04:36:07 PM
Overall, bitcoin is probably a hobby and people wouldn't use such a subjective factor to sum up for an election.

A US presidential candidate supports Bitcoin in terms of thinking, in my opinion it is quite a strange thing because constitutionally, the leader of the country will be more pro with the economic system that has been passed down or centralized.  How can he support even if only in a mindset, maybe if you understand bitcoin then it's normal but it's a different story if you support it.  Fundamentally, Bitcoin is difficult for regulators to accept.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Bullish or nuts? Fidelity predicts $100M bitcoin in 2035 on: September 02, 2021, 03:43:46 PM
I think 100 million per coin is nuts, but they're probably making this prediction intentionally because they want to pump the price as much as they can and profit from it (they are not a disinterested party), but like a few years ago, financial experts were saying Bitcoin would go down to zero (which is clearly an overstatement) because they thought they could kill it and keep doing their traditional investments safely. Even considering what dkbit98 is pointing out that 100 million in 15 years is not 100 million now, unless they mean that dollar would become pretty worthless and suffer from hyperinflation, I don't think Bitcoin will be worth that much.

That's right, there's a lot to be learned from his words.  Do you just want to find the stage?  or take advantage?  or is it purely a measurable prediction.  On the other hand, I see if this is based on basic calculations then the 100 Million figure is based on the prediction of hyperinflation that hit the US so that the value of 100 Million will not be so meaningful in the next 15 years.  What's more, almost all countries are printing large amounts of money, taking out loans for social funds makes the economic system quite bad for the future.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 02, 2021, 01:14:45 PM
Ronaldo, yesterday after scoring the two goals that gave Portugal the victory, in the interview said that he was very excited and motivated to have returned home - Man United. He feels very happy and motivated in this new phase of his career.

He will certainly give Man United fans a lot of joy.
I very happy for him after he broke the international record. His first on the night saw him overtake Ali Daei as international football's record goal scorer. I have a feeling that Ronaldo has been tested positive for being the Greatest Player Of All Time Grin. Its not the first time He is going a full 88 minutes of doing absolutely nothing and then scores a brace in the last 4 minutes to win them the game, so inevitable. I would want him to also play this way when he gets to Manchester united. Although he might be playing more as a pure goal scoring striker, no much runs and stress like he was playing in Real Madrid.

Considering the journey that he has gone through until the end of his career, returning to the club that has made his name is one of the choices that is very well planned.  It is undeniable that CR will continue to be the best player so in these few years before his retirement I believe he has prepared himself to present the prize for the passion he has always had.  Man United was greatly helped by his presence.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin fans have developed into a political force. Is this the dawn of victory? on: September 01, 2021, 05:25:28 PM
It is not hard to notice that there has indeed developed a sort of a cultish mindset among Bitcoin supporters which seem to hail Bitcoin as some kind of a silver bullet that gives solutions to all social, political, and economic ills of the society. I couldn't help but notice that other people seem to treat Bitcoin as infallible, that people couldn't go wrong with Bitcoin, and so on. I am a strong fan of Bitcoin but I wouldn't go as far as hoping that a certain cohesive Bitcoin group would end up as a political party or even a religion. That's crossing the line.

The opportunity to use BTC in politics does exist but this is only a form of resistance and the existence of groups who hate the centralized system and admire the innovation it has.  It is economically difficult to penetrate because each country fortifies itself for fear that it will no longer be a regulator.  This is something the king should pay attention to.
596  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a speculative asset or as currency on: September 01, 2021, 04:09:00 PM
With how far Bitcoin has gone since its inception, it's unlikely it'll become worthless in the future. Just my opinion Smiley

Like other currencies, Bitcoin is a currency that has 3 functions, including as a medium of exchange/payment, store of value and speculation.  So, the currency should have those 3 functions.  Otherwise it can be a speculative asset for what is called currency. But there are many who may think that speculation does not have to be owned by a currency.  Though it is the part of the currency.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: September 01, 2021, 03:04:56 PM
I believe this Ronaldo will not take long, he is a talented player so he will adapt to the game which exists.

After seeing the news of Ronaldo's transfer to Man United, my wild mind said that Man City would be the winners of this league.  After previously competing closely with City, it is time for MU to become champions in this league, especially since they have brought in talented players like CR to support progress at the club.  But this is just a wild thought, despite the fact that CR is definitely still adapting to his new club.
598  Economy / Economics / Re: "Crypto is no longer in the early adoption stage" on: September 01, 2021, 01:52:03 PM

There is still a lot of time before the normal implementation, but it is pointless to assert about the exact timing, because the process will go unevenly at different speeds in different territories and in different states. Also, a lot depends on what is invested in the very concept of accepting bitcoin. It is quite obvious that bitcoin will not be accepted as a full-fledged currency in serious states, and as a certain asset that serves as an object for speculation or for some financial transactions, but still eventually exchanged for a fiat currency, then such a prospect of the near future is quite possible. It's just that everything will be regulated by the relevant state authorities.
It is true that the crypto market has experienced significant development, but we will still find that there are still many people who have not entered this market for various reasons.  Out of 100 people, only 3 people know what crypto is in my country.  If it is said that it has gone through the adoption stage, it is already uneven and massive.  Cases in developing countries are more complicated than those in advanced ones.  Not only crypto but the capital market, there are still a lot of homework even though it was already there.
599  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency: The Future of Finance in a New World Order? on: August 31, 2021, 05:26:49 PM

All of these makes bitcoin a logical contender to be the next "money" that people use, I get that. However as long as nations do not take it as legal tender all around the world, it can't be at that level and I do not think that it will ever be in that level in the long run neither.

however the development of Bitcoin, we cannot ignore that it is impossible for all countries to agree with the existence of Bitcoin that can threaten the systems and regulations they have led.  Their egotism will be maintained because of the threat caused by crypto.  That's a cliché excuse that the central bank uses to create its own CBDC
600  Economy / Economics / Re: The lending problem on: August 31, 2021, 04:32:29 PM
Indeed, this is not as simple as it is said, but I see that in the loan transaction process the most crucial is not a third party in this case it can be called a bank. But a guarantee. There are no loans that pass at the bank except for a strict administrative selection with collateral requirements. Actually, anyone can do this loan transaction without any problems if there is a clear guarantee. In crypto or in banks, it's all the same. Still going on with the guarantee.
