581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: January 10, 2024, 05:39:50 PM

Loan money that been used for gambling is not part of the budget,  when you lose that amount you are obligated to repay it, it's not easy to put that money back since it's not in your actual monthly budget,  better to gamble using your spare money,  I guess there are people who suffer with that same situation with OP, thinking that he can grow that loan money and be lucky to enjoy decent amount of winnings but it turned against him and now  he needed to repay that loan money.
If someone has a budget for gambling, he should not need to borrow money to gamble. That will only make it difficult for him, especially when he experiences a lot of losses. He had to spend more money from his budget to be able to pay back the loan money. He should use money from his own budget so that he doesn't have trouble paying back the money he borrowed so that whether he loses or wins, it won't be a problem for him. Perhaps there really is someone who can grow the borrowed money and enjoy big wins to pay back the borrowed money. But not many people can do this because most people will experience losses from gambling so they still have to pay back the money they borrowed.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here who retired with Gambling winnings ? on: January 10, 2024, 05:14:10 PM
It's challenging to pinpoint a specific number; perhaps one million USD would satisfy most people. However, I'm quite certain that when you earn a million USD from gambling, it's hard to stop. Greed tends to arise when you have a lot of money, not when you have nothing. So, I believe that at that point, the greed of the majority will be immense.
We might plan to stop when we reach that amount, but after earning a million USD, the desire for more can be insatiable, especially when the money comes quickly. If you earn it over a long period, investing a lot of effort, you might consider retiring. I never thought about how much money I would retire with if I were lucky in gambling or investment because I know that only by maintaining work can you sustain that large amount of money in a sustainable way.

There is no certain benchmark number that can satisfy gamblers so that they can retire from gambling because they will think about winning as much money as possible from gambling. But unfortunately, they won't be able to get it easily, and they will have to experience many losses, which won't guarantee they can get a big win. They need more than they can imagine to get their big win, and that won't be possible if one doesn't have great luck. Before they can get big wins many times, they will only experience their greed getting bigger, affecting their emotions, where they will become more and more eager to gamble. When their emotions have risen and become more eager to win, that's when they will lose control of themselves and will not see that they are being led to their destruction. But if they can be wise, they will not want to follow their desires and ego because they already know that it will only accelerate the loss of their money without them realizing it.

The way at which they set this game is really wonderful, because sometimes I sit to wonder why nobody have been able to understand their security code that will allow one know the method of winning them, but the more you tend to study how they set their games pattern, the more it becomes complicated and you lose more.I have used about a month in studying a whole series of the football casino virtual game, and at the end of the day,I still end up losing. They are really good at what they are doing.
The best option i have chose is to stop this gambling of a thing because it's not adding any value to my life.
Perhaps someone can understand the codes if they haven't been changed by the casino or perhaps only a few people understand the security codes. Yes, it is difficult to learn the patterns and find ways or methods to win the game because the casino must have blocked these ways or methods so that they are not misused, which can cause the casino to lose. And I agree with you. Instead of looking for something that we may not be able to find, it is better to stop gambling and not return to gambling for some time. It can make us stop thinking about it because at least we can rest our minds from such things. Perhaps doing something else would be more useful for us.

Someone will inevitably borrow money from you because that's how we all make enough to survive and purchase necessities. If you're tight on cash, your only option is to borrow money from friends or family. However, there are always some who pledge to pay up their loan on the specified day but ultimately postpone it for personal reasons.

It's reasonable that if we win later and think we could have earned more if our friend's money had been returned sooner, we would experience regret or a sense of lost opportunity.
This kind of reaction is natural in situations where the outcome could have been different based on the circumstances. and because of this, we ought to refrain from setting any sort of repayment expectation in order to prevent misunderstandings and disappointments.
If someone borrows money from me, it would be better for them to use it for important things, such as survival, because they don't have their weekly or monthly income yet. I have often lent them for needs like that because I know we need to help people with difficulty making ends meet. I never told them to return the money because I lent them according to my ability, so I didn't think about asking for the money back. But I have also met people or friends who borrowed money with the promise of returning it next week, but they didn't return the money and instead disappeared and didn't give me any news. For that one, I won't lend him any more money because he's already acting like that.

We can return the money if we win, but what if we lose? How can we return the money? We will have difficulty returning the money. Therefore, we should never borrow money to gamble because there is no guarantee that we can win from gambling. We could lose all the borrowed money, and it will be difficult to return the money. However, we must be able to restrain ourselves by not borrowing money from anyone to gamble because that will only give us problems. With the self-control that we have learned previously, we can restrain ourselves from that, and we should do other things that can provide benefits and make money from other things.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: January 10, 2024, 04:05:18 PM
~snip~
Mentally unstable people are people who easily change their mood very quickly, they are people who easily go into depression when faced with a loss, even if it is a small loss, they are people who are unlikely to gamble and accept that they are constantly losing money and have positive thinking, many people just pretend that they are playing for fun, they will never say publicly that they are playing with the hope that one day they will make a profit, this is because society sees gambling as a path to the destruction of life, both and that those games in which the person puts money to predict the outcome are then considered games of chance, why aren't they called games of luck?

In my opinion, the answer is very simple, they won't call it games of luck because they would lose more than they won, so they started calling it games of chance. and mentally unstable people can get it into their head that they are just going to play for fun, but then when they lose in a game these same mentally unstable people will start to get irritated and think about chasing losses and if they are in a physical casino it will cause confusion and if In the physical casino, the security guards will kick them out, then they will go to a bar and start drinking a lot and causing confusion such as fights inside the bar. Who here has never seen confused people on football fields who get angry easily and for futile reasons, causing fights? I believe we have all seen these people, they are mentally unstable people
That's true because they can't calm down for a while and will easily experience changes in their mood. The person will also not be able to get along with other people because of erratic mood changes, so they will have difficulty being in public. However, some people are mentally stable and can get along with other people even though they are unstable at certain times. People can still accept them and invite them to chat when they are "aware" of themselves because they can think rationally and understand the direction of the discussion or chat. And yes, these people can still socialize with other people, and they are even the ones who might gamble because they are mentally stable when they gamble.

But these people will not think about victory and defeat. They like seeing what is in front of them, and whatever the result, they will just accept it. that is very different from gamblers, who will want to win more. They also won't call gambling a game of chance because they may have another name for gambling that only they understand. They just want to feel the pleasure of playing with the machine and don't think about winning the gambling game. They also don't try to make a fuss in the casino because they can position themselves well and want to gamble.

~snip~
Gambling is not for everybody,so I disagree with this statement of yours in one way.I know everybody has the privilege to gamble, and it is your wish to gamble or not,but the fact that gambling is not for everybody means that not everyone has the mind to be able to gamble, some persons will cry after they lose a round of game, while some persons will just see it as part of the game.We always say,and know that gambling is a risky game to play,it's either one wins or one loses, when you lose, you have to still accept that fact, while if you win,it's your luck to be happy about. But the losing part of it which is the most common part of gambling is what some people find hard to accept, but one thing is sure,as long as one is into the habbit of gambling, losing is essential.
Gambling is not a privilege, but it is everyone's choice. If they don't like gambling games, they don't need to gamble and look for other activities that are safer for them. But if they want to look for sensations and challenges to make money, they can use gambling, but they have to be able to bear the risk because there is a risk of losing money from gambling. If people cry because they have lost when playing gambling, they should think again about not approaching gambling again because they cannot accept their loss and will be sad because they have lost their money. People who want to gamble should be able to think about what, if they lose, they can accept the results. Won't they be sad to see their money disappear because they gambled? If they can accept the results, they can gamble, but they should use limits in gambling so that their losses will not be too big.

I think that the casino staff had known him for long time before he really had any mental problems.
And problems like this cannot be solved using logic because no one knows what problem actually occurred and caused the condition to be like that.
Moreover, if you think about it deeply and also look at someone behavior, you can conclude that maybe he is just homeless person who doesn't have anything, including place to live.
But the casino staff is much more understanding and he understands the conditions of each customer much better.
Yes, that's right, because if the casino staff hadn't known him for a long time, he wouldn't have allowed that person to enter the casino and gamble there. The casino staff knew him well, so he could tell that the person only wanted to gamble periodically, and once he was done gambling, he would immediately leave the casino. This is good self-control, where the person does not have other desires, such as winning the gambling game or recovering from previous losses. He wants to gamble as usual and may only gamble on one casino machine, so he won't want to try other casino games. Casino staff who already know that person well will keep an eye on that person even though they already know him well because casino staff want to ensure that the place they work in remains comfortable for everyone who wants to gamble.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: January 10, 2024, 03:40:47 PM
Yes no one want to lost his earning money from gambling. Everyone has emotion and they play emotionally and they earn. No one will be happy when the face losses When they gambling. Everyone want to play safe and save their money and make profit. No one will be happy then they lost their hard work earnings. They always try to play seriously and make always try to safe their earnings because that their hard work earning.
Experiencing losing money in gambling is a risk that every gambler must face, but they also have other options if they don't want to experience losing money where they don't have to gamble and save their money for other things. It will be more useful for them because they will not lose their money and will not be triggered emotionally by losing their money. But if they only gamble with the money they can afford, they will not complain about losing their money because it is money they are ready to lose at any time from gambling. They also still save most of their hard-earned money because they understand that gambling games are just for fun and not for any other purpose. They also don't need to gamble too hard, especially if they use a lot of money because that can cause them to lose a lot.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus on how much you may lose and not only the potential win. on: January 10, 2024, 03:14:00 PM

While this is a very common occurrence, at the same time regardless of how obsessed a person may be with gambling, eventually they realize they cannot win, however instead of this realization making them to stop, they keep gambling anyway.

And this happens because despite knowing the truth they cannot stop themselves from gambling anymore, I know that this sounds very odd for us, but this is the scenario that is brought over and over again on the books I have read about the topic.
It's already difficult if someone is obsessed with gambling because he will only think about gambling and want to go back to gambling. He would not think about how he could avoid gambling and look for other things that could distract him. But if he keeps thinking about his past losses and there is a desire to return to gambling again, it is only a matter of time before he loses even more money.

Yes, they cannot stop gambling easily because there is an obsession that keeps coming to them and telling them to continue gambling. They will find it difficult to prevent themselves from returning to gambling unless they have a very strong desire to avoid gambling.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: January 10, 2024, 02:50:23 PM

Yes, it is the best we can do, for example I never fall into addiction because at the time I was a newbie and I saw that I was losing a lot of money, I only thought about how I could get it back, of course in the casino I don't even know what I thought I would recover it in terms of my job, and work 2 or 3 more shifts, that's what I thought afterwards and I forgot to play dice, of course I'm talking about 2017, which was when I discovered everything about Bitcoin, games, and what has to do with this, in this case we must always see that when it comes to doing better things we have to see how we can do so that our money increases in the game, and the best way is for us to have money totally to lose, not to start investing in having a lot of money that we need for our basic expenses, because it falls into the same vein as: How to recover the money without playing in the casino? Obviously, with more work load, then when thinking about those aspects one must control oneself, that for me was enough to control myself, but that worked for me because at that time I already had a baby, now I have two, one of 8 and another girl of 2, then at least she can lose control.

When I thought that I had to give him everything, milk, diapers and all those obligations, I knew that I couldn't spend the money I had for those expenses, and that was something that made me react, so for me it works like this, having a family, What I can do is recommend to people that they react when they feel that they may fall into addiction, so in view of this things can happen very fortuitously in the casino, many other strategies can be done to control themselves, but that depends of each person, and each person has to do what suits them best in order to control themselves, even if they are extreme measures.
Someone who is still a newbie will not get addicted to gambling quickly unless he returns to gambling without restrictions and every day, he only plays gambling. It will make him addicted to gambling without him realizing it so that when he sees what has happened to him, he will be surprised that he is already addicted to gambling. If the newbie experiences defeat, he will not think about ending his gambling game but will try to gamble again by depositing more money. This was because he felt it was a good day, which almost made him win big. And if he doesn't realize that it was a mistake to deposit more money to gamble, he will only increase the amount of his losses. He should be able to think about how to increase his amount of money without having to gamble. Yes, he can look for a job that can make money to earn money from other activities. And when we can make money from work, that is, we can really make money, we should immediately think about starting to reduce the gambling activities we do because we only lose money in gambling and not make money like we get from our jobs.

By making money from your work, you can buy diapers for your children, meet your daily needs, and save for your family's future, including your children. That will be more exciting than using the money to gamble in the hope that you can make money from gambling. Indeed, you can make money from gambling, but that doesn't guarantee you can make it every time you gamble. So it's time for those who are married to remember that meeting family needs is the most important thing in our gambling activities, whatever the reason, including trying to make money from gambling because we won't be able to get it easily. We can gamble but only to get pleasure, and after that, we have to quit gambling. And we can get that pleasure through our family, who always accompanies us.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: January 10, 2024, 02:25:29 PM
~snip~
Yeah that's the main point of it, knowing the rules to avoid any delayed or any issue when you needed to withdraw your money, or when you are currently playing so you won't be bothered as you can go and play the way you understand the game and knows how the rule works, it's important to have that idea and not to let the house prevents you from enjoying your game once you start to win.

Though there are lots if not all are lazy they just wanted to keep playing without reading anything.
As long as we know the rules of each casino we use, we will not experience any problems and can gamble in peace, and if we want to withdraw our winnings, we will not experience delays due to other reasons. We can enjoy gambling games comfortably because that is what we want from the casino. When we win, we can also withdraw the winning money without any problem, so we will tell our friends that we have the best casino list. But the list of casinos will be different from our friends' because each gambler will have a list of the best casinos. We can at least spend a little time paying attention to the terms and conditions at the casino. We also don't need to read all the terms and conditions all day long immediately but can read them little by little in our free time apart from gambling. This will give us the knowledge that each term and condition is different, and we have to adapt to the casino.
590  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who does gambling addiction affect the most? on: January 10, 2024, 02:07:26 PM
Gambling addiction has a huge effect on the person who is addicted as well as their close family. While the gambler goes through stress, pressure, and personal loses, family members, especially children and spouses, can also be devastated. There are many stories of how a loved one's gaming addiction has messed up family lives, relationships, and finances. When a parent is addicted, the home setting can change in bad ways that can hurt the kids' development and future opportunities. The effects often last a long time, changing the basis of the family and the health of all its members. Basically, gambling addiction has bad effects on everyone in the close family that can be hard to get over.
This is no doubt because it is the family that will feel the biggest impact rather than the person experiencing gambling addiction. These people will see that they no longer have money to meet their daily needs because it has been used by people who gamble, so the family's finances are disrupted. Maybe they can still find work to make money and set aside a little money to meet their daily needs, but if the person who gambles asks for their money to gamble, they will experience financial difficulties. The foundation of the family will change for the worse, and there will no longer be any trust in the person who is addicted to gambling because everything has changed. People who are addicted to gambling will experience destruction in their families. If they have children, their children will probably be greatly affected because it can affect their mental health until they grow up. Their children might also follow their parents in gambling because they see that's where their parents forget them. Or their children will really hate their parents because they have caused their family to be destroyed.
591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on VIP Programs in casinos? on: January 10, 2024, 01:26:02 PM
I don't know what it's like to be a VIP in a casino, so I don't know what benefits a VIP member gets. Perhaps they get certain prizes as a form of attention from the casino towards its VIP members. But it depends on the casino too.

Until now, I have not tried to pursue VIP membership at any casino and just tried to enjoy my free time by gambling. Moreover, I don't gamble too often, so it's not something I need. But I think playing gambling as usual can get me a VIP membership one day. So it's not a problem for me.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 09, 2024, 10:39:53 PM
That is the wrong thought that your friend said. He will only lose his money more often by gambling every day because there is no guarantee winning will get closer to him. Even though he tries to gamble more often, if luck doesn't come, he can't win the gambling game and will only experience loss after loss.

In addition, he has the possibility of becoming a gambler who is addicted to gambling if he does not know how to stop himself from gambling every day. And it will be worse if he cannot control himself and instead gambles more often using more money. He may have been gambling too long and can't think clearly. He just thinks that the more often he gambles, the closer he gets to his luck so that he can win the gambling game.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woes of gambling on: January 09, 2024, 10:15:31 PM
Gambling provides an advantage for the house, and we actually already know that, but we still gamble because we want to make money from gambling. Many gamblers try to make money, but unfortunately, many of them experience defeat when gambling. They have been aware of this since before they gambled, but because their desire is stronger than the reality they have seen, that is what makes them still decide to gamble. People believe they can make money from gambling even though before they win, they have to lose first. There is no guarantee that they can win big after losing big, but that doesn't stop them from continuing to gamble.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 09, 2024, 09:51:52 PM
Gambling can indeed bring frustration to people who lose when gambling, regardless of whether they are adults or old people. But what we see in the picture is a mother who predicted the bet and that she should not have to gamble anymore. We don't know whether she can control her emotions if she loses another bet or whether she will lose control of himself, which will make her place another bet.

Perhaps it's not strange to see elderly women gambling because it really happens. But she shouldn't have to gamble at her old age. We worry about if the woman loses all her money and can only cry because she doesn't have any more money. Gambling can indeed attract anyone to try it because of the possibility of winning, so people put their hopes into gambling so they can make money.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: January 09, 2024, 09:22:23 PM
I think poor lose way more then rich, at least through gambling for sure. I just managed to lose 6 straight XFUN bets in an astonishing manner. Sometimes I feel like these squads are literally keeping track of when I bet, and play their worst possible.
It depends on how poor or rich people use their money to gamble. Some rich people don't use a lot of money to gamble because they realize that it can result in a lot of losses for them. They just want to avoid losing a lot, so they only gamble moderately. That will be the same as poor people who don't have a lot of money but want to experience gambling games, so they will also gamble with enough money. As long as they can gamble with the money they can afford, it is not a problem, and they can adjust the amount of their losses according to the money they use in gambling. So this is actually about how people use their money to gamble because that will affect the amount of losses they will receive at the end of the gambling game.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: January 09, 2024, 05:11:14 PM
I think loneliness and other sort of emotions can lead to gambling even if they initially don't have the interest in it. This is because once you grow weary and feel you are alone, it can make you divert your attention to something else to distract yourself. You become more vulnerable when you are lonely, so in result, you can do things that you don't initially like to do. Loneliness can make you try to explore things you haven't done before and that could include gambling. The downside when you are introduced in gambling during your lowest of lows, you might become impulsive and irresponsible leading to other worse case scenarios.
That's because they don't have many activities and more often stay quiet, so they feel lonely without any friends or close people visiting them and being able to distract them from that loneliness. They just need to look for activities that can divert their attention so they don't feel lonely, whereas when they are busy with their activities, their minds will not think about gambling. And if they can do lots of activities throughout the day, it can help them really not think about gambling and can prevent them from gambling in the first place. It will be one of the great solutions for those who want to avoid gambling and divert their attention from gambling. They also will not have a negative mindset to do things that have a bad impact on their life because what is on their mind is completing every daily activity because it can provide more pleasure.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: January 09, 2024, 04:43:35 PM
Bro, gambling loan is not an option and it will never be an option. The only people who get into this situation are those who are addicted to gambling, those who can no longer control themselves and always want to gamble, want to win big, so what happens is that they end up in debt. Gambling has ruined many lives, so don't add to them. If you don't have any gambling money, shut up and do something else besides gambling.
Because borrowing money will provide a greater risk when we lose, we will have difficulty returning the money. If we win a lot of money, it will be easier for us to return the money. But we know that gambling will not give us easy wins, and we will often experience more losses until the money runs out on gambling. If the money has been spent on gambling, how can we pay the loan money when we have no other money? And many people are in debt because they use their debt to gamble when it shouldn't happen to them. But it is because they follow their ego and lust that they get into debt and then use their money to gamble. And now, they have to accept the consequences of borrowing money to gamble.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A hero or a fool? on: January 09, 2024, 04:16:34 PM
that is not a way of limiting yourself from gambling. offline Casino is just only a gambling hall where you play gamble with your friends and have fun, but that does not limit you from online where you open an account and play at home. Or does any law restrictions also playing online?
That strategy to me is just a way of making people feel that he has changed from his gambling habit or let people remove that notion of a wayward person. If not so, I don't see any other reason.
Perhaps he used methods that no one else had ever tried to avoid gambling, so he thought about doing it that way. He can avoid offline casinos, but there is no guarantee that he will not use online casinos, especially now that there are so many online casinos, both fiat and crypto. He could have opened an account at an online casino and gambled from his home without anyone knowing. This will be even more dangerous because no one is watching him when he gambles, and he can also gamble secretly. If that's the case, he just avoids offline casinos but still gambles at online casinos, so what he wants to avoid gambling still can't be done well. This is where self-awareness is needed to be able to suppress the feeling of wanting to gamble and always try to avoid gambling.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: January 09, 2024, 03:56:02 PM
The feeling that is felt is always different depending on the gambler itself. For gamblers who consider gambling as a fun activity or consider gambling as an activity that can eliminate the pressure felt in everyday life, They are not too focused on the results obtained after gambling, winning or losing are common for gamblers of this type.
I consider gambling as an exciting activity, so there is no feeling of depression, annoyance or even dissatisfied that leaves the pressure in self that can cause emotions. Gambling is a fun activity, if the gambler is not ready to accept defeat, Never gamble with money that is not ready to be eliminated.
Of course, it will depend on what results each gambler gets. If he experiences loss and the loss is very big, he will be sad and disappointed, maybe even frustrated at the reality he is experiencing. And he will feel that he must try to recover his loss the next day. But gamblers who win will be happy to see their winnings, and there is a possibility that they will return to the casino to try to get another win. But for those of us who use gambling as a fun activity, we will not think about the results because we just want to enjoy our free time by gambling. We also won't think about recovering from that loss because we know it can change the situation and result in more losses. For this reason, we have to use the money we can afford in gambling not to feel disappointed, sad, or frustrated because we have experienced loss. And whatever we receive in the final result is the risk of gambling.

It is true that the big disadvantage of gambling is losing a lot of time with our family or loved ones. Gambling enthusiasts only think about how to get money from winning gambling matches and return the money they have spent in losing. In fact, it is not uncommon for us to meet gambling enthusiasts who are willing to leave their families just for what they say is to have fun and earn money.
However, when they start to realize that they are very depressed, no one cares about them anymore because their relationship has just been thrown away. they think no one cares about their situation, even though they themselves have thrown it all away.
Not only do we lose a lot of time with our family or loved ones, but we also have the opportunity to lose the money we have, and even if it gets serious, we can lose the things we have along with losing the people we love. They will not be able to see us as before, who really loved them, but they will see us as gamblers who are more concerned with gambling than them. If we don't realize it, we will really lose everything we have, and even though we can win, it will be meaningless if we lose everything we have, including the people we love. We won't be able to repair that relationship because everything has fallen apart because of what we did, which was our biggest mistake. When we are down and have lost everything, we can regret our actions, but it may be too late because they are long gone.

Getting your point, as the time you spend with your gambling will be the time that you lost since you are very focus with gambling and forget about those people around you, it's hard to repair a relationship if you are already engage too much with gambling, there's nothing inside your mind aside from how will you please your desire for gambling.

I think the only possible way is to completely quit with your will and make sure not to think about it anymore, after that, when everything already fresh, you can try to work out with your relationship and spend all your time to accomplish your will to repair everything.
That's what we will experience if we play gambling for too long because we will be too busy to forget our relationships with people close to us and also not be able to see what has changed about ourselves. Playing gambling should be a fun activity and not cause problems, but because we use it too seriously and for too long, it makes us experience relationship problems with the people closest to us. This must end immediately because if not, we will really lose people close to us and the relationship will be damaged because we gamble too much.

Only by stopping gambling can we avoid thinking about gambling so that we can try to repair our disturbed relationships. Maybe it also takes time to repair the relationship but we have to try especially if we can show those close to us that we have really stopped gambling. They will believe it especially when they can see that we have really stopped gambling and there is the intention and desire to make that change.

Gambling often times is stressful and could derail a gambler's brain power to reason in a smart way. Most gamblers we've came across misbehaving were not gamblers, but the moment they began gambling they abused the rules of the game. Not sure they knew the rules. They only played gambling without any orientation or research about the need to gamble. Many of them gambled because of peer influence, and after multiple years of engaging in gambling, they can't stay a day without gambling. Some of which does not stop after being cured of addiction, still gamble, but limits it. Hence, I'd say that those gamblers only begin to learn about gambling after they've been cured of their problem gambling. Then those who followed the rules of gambling and still got addicted where actually not giving the brain a break to rest. Thereby overworking themselves to the point their thoughts wasn't conducive for gambling.
Gambling can make us stressed because we will experience loss and perhaps even experience loss more often. But if we can avoid experiencing a lot of losses by implementing restrictions on our gambling, we can avoid that stress and can even enjoy gambling. Gamblers who behave badly don't know how to treat gambling because all they have in mind is how they can win from it. They are the ones who will experience serious problems in gambling, and they will have difficulty finding solutions because they have gone too far in gambling without being able to get out of gambling easily. But if they were able to treat gambling well from the start by not using a lot of money and also being able to control themselves and set limits and follow them, they would not have difficulty using gambling to get pleasure from it.
