581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex made a mistake closing down troll box? on: June 07, 2017, 08:09:27 PM
Oh just read this thread and noticed that TROLLBOX already gone at Poloniex.

Too much to handle isn't it? Trollbox isn't always troll. There are also nice people there sharing analytics although majority is FUD and baseless speculations especially when there's a coin on hype. Hopeful also that it will be back as it's one of the way to reached them with their pending tickets.
582  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 07, 2017, 01:16:49 AM

Kung ayaw ng fee sa cashin, try mu mag transfer via online banking. Yon ang gamit ko at na rerefund ng coins.ph ang transaction fee ko after nila ma verify.

Talaga? Baka sa piling banko lang yan sir. Ilan beses na ako nagcash in via BPI-Dragonpay. Ginagamit ko kasi dati sa bills payment iyong coins.ph ko dahil sayang din iyong rebate pero recently di ko na nagagawa kasi parang umangat iyong fees.

Anong bank ang sinasabi mo? Or baka di lang kami updated.
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DCORP Crowdsale - Democratizing Venture Capitalism on: June 07, 2017, 12:55:49 AM
Their are so many coins which went good in ICO but as soon as it gets launch in exchange their rates go down and it is natural because in the starting their will be dump through lot of options, like bounty coins, weak hands who seeing small profit are just selling it seeing small dump in price. So i will wait till launch and then i will buy it and keep for long term.
That wont be the case with every ICO,there are other successful projects where the price tripled more than the ICO valuation, since this ICO does not have any bounty in the form of DCORP token ,there wont be any dumpsters as they have taken a wise decision to pay in bitcoin rather than their token.

It's not with the bountry but with the investors. Tokens came from joining the crowdfund and not thru bounty so still it's vulnerable to dumping scene like always in every project once it was established in an exchange.

What is the connection if they pay in bitcoin and because of that they will not be proned to dumpsters?
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: June 07, 2017, 12:39:04 AM
So recently I was using this app called Instagram (in case some of you never heard of it) and I posted some pictures & videos related to Bitcoin on my Instagram Stories (Like that day when the price goes insanely high and keep going til now). Then 2 days ago some of my friends suddenly asked me about what Bitcoin is & how could the price goes up like that. And I was surprisingly glad to know that I've influenced some people to get to know Bitcoin. And then I introduced them to Bitcoin and answer their questions about it, there were 3 people asking about Bitcoin that day just because of this 1 post.

I mean why don't we just use this power of social media to make people aware about this Cryptocurrency, well I know that there are already some people doing this (like those YouTube channels).
But what I'm talking about here is to us to post something about Bitcoin on our social media, you can just at least post something like your first transaction with Bitcoin and share your story on your Facebook or take the picture of your book that you just bought from the internet using your Bitcoin and then post it on your Twitter.

Don't be afraid to share your experience, you won't get hurt by doing it!(at least not now)

Social media is truly powerful nowadays so we can use this as a way to inform people about bitcoin. Instead of posting nonsense things online, then a person who knows about bitcoin can start sharing what is it about or just like what is mentioned above, you can post your experiences, brag about the things you purchase (lol), or any insights you want to share about bitcoin.

There's a possibility that people will sooner find out how beneficial bitcoin is now in these new era.
585  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: June 07, 2017, 12:16:41 AM
I just read a post here about trying to share any bitcoin related stuff on social media.

I think it's one of the best way to spread knowledge about bitcoin since as we are all aware of, social media is now a powerful tool to broadcast everything you had in mind. Your opinion, beliefs, etc.
586  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 06, 2017, 11:41:39 PM
Dati rati pag mag didice ako, punta ko 7/11 with 100 pesos equivalent na sa 0.003. Tapos di pa kelangan ng tx fee. Ngayon tumigil na ko magdice dahil sa lugi sa fee.

Diary ng sugarol.

Dati.

Cash-in naman sinasabi mo sir. Ano kinalaman ng tx fee diyan. Php 100 ngayon is 68,842 satoshis based sa conversion ng coins.

587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: June 06, 2017, 11:21:32 PM
Its hard to explain the bitcoin in children because  some of them are not interested, but in teenagers maybe not too difficult to explain because they have much knowledge to about the importance of money. Its better to explain it to teenagers because they know the expenses.
To explain them the bitcoin first I will introduce the bitcoin and I'll tell the advantages and disadvantages. Then, I'll give them some videos in youtube about bitcoin to give them more knowledge about it.

yup its true, the children only wants to play but we can introduce bitcoin to them by playing some games that give rewards for bitcoin. and i think there is many of games like this so we can download it, asked them to play while we can explain about bitcoin to them. but we don't have to explain until completed but we can explain the basic of bitcoin so they can understand and in future, they can learn by them self.

This is one of the best way. Playing games, especially virtual games, are popular for teenagers or children nowadays. If we can introduce to them games that offer bitcoin, then it won't be hard for them to understand it. Yes, the process of learning bitcoin takes time so for them to understand it, they just need to be expose to it as early as now. Experience is the best teacher, so we don't need to worry about teaching them everything all at once. They will little by little learn about it. We can also be a good example to them as they witness how we are able to benefit from bitcoin
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Active or Passive on: June 06, 2017, 11:11:00 PM
welcome folks.. I am here with two money earning and money investment terms which most people are not aware of so I thought we should discuss about this too.
What is Active earning?
when you earn and gets played for how much time you worked. such as signature campaigns or faucts. that mean if you d not work they aren't gonna pay you.
What is Passive earning?
when you invest your money in something or somewhere in order to get some amount(mostly fixed amount) even wile you are not at work. such as investment or cloud mining.

if you are investing your coins then you should first understand the main difference between assets and liability, its like trading and shopping. assets help you make money but liability will consume some money even after you bought it.

so which one you doing active or passive?

Is there any legit online passive services today? Maybe yes but on real life. Worked hard to earn good money. Just make sure that our effort applied to a certain work pays much and worth it. I prefer active earnings here.

Just want to say that just holding any coins that is expected to bloom after long term doesn't mean it's a passive income.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: June 06, 2017, 10:18:37 PM
Don't you think price blast not correlate with its real life usage since its inception?

High price = high fiat value = more things to buy on real world

Its hoarded for speculative purpose but how many major cities in the world have even its ATM?

For the whole numbers, I don't have an idea. But we already have a Bitcoin ATM here. I known 2 of them but others here say there are still stationed on other cities.

Who will accept it in store when confirmation time is so long.

Single confirmation is enough for other merchants. And if that the case, withdraw the bitcoin instead and use that money to buy our desire needs.
590  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: June 06, 2017, 10:04:57 PM
Obviously, I need BTC to get in but it seems like everything is high right now.  Should I wait till BTC is < 2k? Or ETH < 200? I'd like to get in and start trading alt coins.  But for me to maximize my profits in USD I need to wait till BTC is at a reasonable cost.  Or do you guys see it climbing to 3k in the next couple of months?

How long will you wait for that "reasonable cost" and what do you think is a fair price to that. Ok what if the price goes $1,500 during the bearish market, will you buy? I doubt you will because you will expect that the price will decrease more. The same question asked during the recent correction price and now look at the current price.

No one really knows what will be the trend that's why you need to risk.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 06, 2017, 03:07:04 PM
I save bitcoin now for both for fun and for future purpose. Because saving bitcoin is not a hard thing to do so I found it enjoyable and the bitcoin thatI got today and in the future will be saved and I will use it for the future purpose.

You are one of the people I found here who is not a hypocrite.  Wink

We need to admit that we put our efforts in earning bitcoin because we want to save it for future use. But what is that future purpose specifically, anyway? Well, it can be to sustain your daily needs, let you buy stuff you want, etc. So basically it is also intended for fun. Future fun, to be precise.
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: June 05, 2017, 02:50:50 PM
As for now, yes. I am holding it. Since there is no reason for me to use it in this season then it's a good way to just hold or keep it.

But when needed, well it's not bad to use some of your bitcoin since that is what bitcoin is made for: To be use as an alternative money to make your life less complicated.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: June 05, 2017, 03:07:13 AM
We all know the answer. Of course, it won't!

We can use bitcoin together with our traditional money but to replace it all, won't be possible.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING!!! Ethereum and Ethereum classic are SCAMS! on: May 31, 2017, 10:13:07 PM
Actually it doesn't matter no matter technical analysis applied just to explain that it's a scam. Let's say we will disregard all the facts about ETH and ETC.

People trading and hodling ETH are for profit purposes and not to used it by means of the same way the bitcoin is being used. As long as it have decent value, then no way a FUD can break it. Crypto traders gets profit from hype coin no matter what it is. That's the reality of trading.
595  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: How To Use Payza's New Bitcoin Services on: May 31, 2017, 09:36:23 PM
Oh is this a Payza that I always see in Paid To Click sites along with other payment procesors like Paypal , Alertpay etc?

Nice to see that you step up and now have a new feature which includes bitcoin for now and other cryptos in the future. Im using Payza for my withdrawals in some of the Paid To Click Sites.

A few years ago payza was my first payment processor. I used them and they worked better for me. but after that I found bitcoin as better in terms of lower transaction and withdrawal fees. Lowering your fees will really make your community more active again.

What kind of fees? If for bitcoin then I doubt it will happened as obviously we all know the current state of bitcoin transaction fees.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Advice for building up investment capital? on: May 31, 2017, 09:11:32 PM
*Does anyone have any insights/tips on how to raise investment capital?*

Hey there,

I am a young high school student trying to setup/contribute to my college fund through a long-term hold strategy. Unfortunately high school plus some ultra strict parents does not provide a lot of opportunities for making spare money on the side, or getting some spare pocket money to put into Ethereum. I managed to save up for 4 ether when it was around $33 but it's just going up so so fast and I hate to miss out on this one opportunity I have to save up some money and leave this tiny town and do something with my life.

Any advice you have for someone trying to build some investment capital, please feel free to share. I will be more grateful than you could ever imagine.

No need to bother with your fiat savings to buy a crypto. If you have some time then work online which pays crypto. It will take time before it will reached your target but surely you will make money here. Im a student too.

If you don't see any opportunities online, then go find a job. You can apply part time or full time depends on your time as you are a student. Im sure there are institutions that accepts students as job like McDonals or in other services. Just learned to find it out.
597  Economy / Services / Re: NEW ALT COIN T SHIRTS FOR SALE. CHECKOUT USING BITCOIN ONLY!! on: May 31, 2017, 08:07:26 PM
Interesting shirt and I found them cute.

May I know the t-shirt specifications? I mean what it's made of. And the logo, how it was embedded? Because if only by looking at picture, we can just have a plain tshirt and attached the logo using electric silk screen which will cost here about less than $10. What is the difference of your tshirt so that we can save ourself from doing a hassle way since that will came from other country so + shipping.
598  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are you think about my gambling related idea? on: May 31, 2017, 07:43:15 PM
Prediction:

I know that there are a lot of people who have not technical knowledge enough to test how is provably fair working in his online casino by himself (most of popular bitcoin gambling sites have too complicated provably fair schemes especially in slots etc.). And main thing is not to check hashes like think most of people BUT to understand how then is result calculating basis on hashes. I remember one gambling site with true working provably fair but it had not any relation with results getting Cheesy So it was fake provably fair which just generating hashes for every game and nothing more. Also it is very boring to check your results time to time (as casinos can manipulate with your results easily if you will trust their own checkers).

Additionally You need to have some math and logic skills to calculate house edge for every game yourself. As when casino says "we have 1% house edge" in most of times it is just words.

My idea:

I am going to create a fully independent topic (and maybe youtube channel) when I will post my own reviews on how is provably fair really working in most of popular casinos + how much is their real house edge.

I have some skills in web development (also gambling related) and I have a diploma of computer science. So I can do that. I will do it of course for free but maybe in future I will create donation btc address that do not spend my own assets on testing.

If you liked or disliked my idea then post here your opinion.

Thanks  Smiley

No need to tell us if it's good idea or not. A good output must be shown before it was being asked.

Just showed what you got since it will be useful for non technical and lack of knowledge about that users like me. Im curious about the hidden thing behind "we have a 1% house edge" or even at 0.5. Let's see if you cracked something undoubtful in their system. Thanks in advanced.
599  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex deposit never credited on: May 31, 2017, 07:12:15 PM
You just did the best thing to do, contact them.

Try to give them daily bump. Send the same query everyday so that you can have your multiple tickets. After that, try to have a 1 post every 5 minutes in their troll box regarding the issue. There is no Poloniex staff here that active in bitcointalk so no choice but to wait for their respond.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE BEST BITCOIN WALLET on: May 31, 2017, 06:52:13 PM
Bold choice here...

FreeBitco.in

Why? Because we're the only bitcoin wallet paying interest, reliably every single day...4.08% annual percentage yield.

Why don't these other online wallets pay you for the risk you take in not owning the private keys? And the best part about interest is that while the rate stays the same the fiat value increases as the price of Bitcoin increases...which in fiat terms means you're earning even more!

The famous bitcoin faucet now can be a bitcoin wallet? Isn't it will give us more risk since your identity are anonymous? Online wallets, same with yours, don't giving us an access to our private keys but isn't is more safe,at least, if the online wallet we will used is regulated and a registered company which freebitco.in isn't?

Am I missing something here? Or you are already a registered company?
