The idiot that was prime minister when the banks crashed is now an ambassador in Washington DC, doing great for a few years until he retires. Failure isn´t always punished.

It is likely that for Washington he did a great job.

Anyway, whatever. Peace man.

Ahah! Very true! If he failed the people it was for the benefit of something/someone else... And this someone gave him the post. Failure is punished, but failing the weaks (the people) for the strongs is not  Grin

Could we have some details about the fees? Cause here i just get a random number everyday without any mean to know where they come from...
583  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 11, 2016, 01:41:53 PM

Some dude thinks he can make some money from coming out with a catchy named altcoin.

Which explains why I don't see the point of this "innovation" xD
584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 11, 2016, 01:27:03 PM

I don't understand the point of this...
585  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: January 11, 2016, 01:22:52 PM

If you doubt what I said, let's just take total energy from the sun, total energy used by man in a recent year, and compare them.

These sorts of numbers are available.

You know what? It's a good question!

I wonder if it's right... Cause of course what you should take into account is the very tiny fraction of the sun energy that hit the Earth and is absorbed. Which is not so much in fact, this heat alone wouldn't be enough for the temperature to be above -100°C, other processes create the heat on earth.

The calculus could be done, not sure there is absolutely no impact you know :3
586  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you support or oppose the death penalty? on: January 11, 2016, 01:14:17 PM
Yepp, and don´t forget that when there´s death penalty for murder then murderers have an added incentive to get rid of witnesses.

True, even if I'm not sure it changes a lot of thing cause lifetime prison is already a hard enough sentence to convince you doing so... Oh wait, no people for death penalty actually believe people will get afraid of death penalty while they're not afraid of lifetime jail  Roll Eyes
587  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you support or oppose the death penalty? on: January 11, 2016, 10:49:34 AM

Suppose some thieves come into your house to rob you. They don't know that you and your wife have guns and know how to use them. In the process of protecting your property, however, the thieves are not killed, but a couple of your kids are.

In punishing the thieves become murderers, can they ever work off the debt they owe you? Okay, let them work for a hundred years of hard labor supporting themselves and you until they make a dent in the debt. You'll never get your kids back, and if you are an honest and merciful person, you will not want these jokers paying off some debt to you forever.

The smart crooks get into government. And the things that they do there steal money form the people "legally" to support the prisons and make Gov people rich... or at least well to do.

The death penalty is simply a way of getting government crooks off your back at the same time that it keeps the more dimwitted crooks off your back at the same time that it brings about justice.

The fact that you may be merciful and not require the death penalty in your particular case is evidence that you have a wonderful soul. But for the peace of the nation, the government should not be like you. It should demand life for life, and even life for other criminal activities besides murder.

Smiley

Yeah! Life for life!

It doesn't matter the social context or the responsibilities behind the crime itself! It doesn't matter that year after year we see that people condemned to death are in fact not guilty, but it's too late cause they're fucking dead...

So let's kill those criminals! And if in the end they're innocent well that's just a mistake and it happens no?  Roll Eyes
588  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prepare for the wave on: January 11, 2016, 08:31:05 AM
There is a waving coming, but i expect it to go down, instead of going up it is going down.

Too bad we will not see a 500 USD spike.

Hope you're saying right friend! But don't hope too much, It smells like it's going crazy upward those days :/

590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think might be holding back Bitcoin's success? on: January 08, 2016, 01:59:42 PM
I would add to this poor bitcoin privacy.

Bitcoin core dev, Greg Maxwell, says that many companies are scared of bitcoin, because if they used it, all their transactions would be made public.

https://youtu.be/9pyVvq-vrrM?t=2286

This is not what usually companies, and individuals, want.

True. Lots of people talk about the anonymous part of bitcoin, but that's fucking wrong. Once the adress you used is known, every transaction can be followed. There is no bank secret in that!

So that must explain why my ignore list is filled with sig spammers. Tongue

That user is purposely taking my quote out of context because he/she needed the easy post and/or is a climate denier and/or a controlled opposition shill.

This user has a pseudo thank you and I'm not taking your quote out of context... Or at least I don't think I did. Maybe I didn't understand perfectly as a non native English speaker (better stay humble).

And sig spamming has nothing to do with that thank you. I came on this thread much before I entered Yobit campaign. And I don't think posts in off topic or Politics & Society count. And I don't really care, I just wanted to put again the right translation of Newton's law that's all.

So thanks for the beautiful translation from latin to english notbatman  Grin

Quote
Now that you point that out I'd say the grammar and sentence structure does indicate an AI spam bot. I was thinking it was just an ESL user but a sig spamming AI bot makes more sense. Make money and disrupt the thread; very clever, too clever. Perhaps it's the works of a team of overpaid psychopathic bureaucrats with unlimited resources pushing a massive scam on an unsuspecting and gullible public they see as nothing more than farm animals and doing it in such a way that it provides plausible deniability.

But but but but... I'm a human  Cry
Perhaps not a very smart one but I still have soul! (╯°□°)╯

Obomba needs to include grade "A" morons and his own peace prize buying ass because they must have failed science class. xD

"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction CONTROLLED OPPOSTION." Cool

What do you think happens to all of that heat being generated by the billions of motors, engines, exhaust manifolds ect. ?

Why isn't this so called environmental movement talking about it ?

The whole debate is really American so I won't take position, but I wanted to tell you that the correct enunciation of Newton's law is "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction".

With love.

Diamond still being as one of my favorite recommendations.

Just above 7 days until the second phase of DMD Diamond auction comes to an end and this might be a nice opportunity to invest into BTC business. Still, you need to do you your own analysis first.

http://bit.diamonds/auction.html

Also, in two weeks, DMD Diamond PoS rate will be halved, this means DMD supply will be cut in half. Whether this might have similar effect to the upcoming BTC block halving, it s yet to bee seen.

https://bit.diamonds/

Thanks for the links. I never heard about that and I'm pretty interested, I'll look it up this weekend =)
594  Economy / Economics / Re: The new dark age on: January 08, 2016, 11:02:22 AM
My god. Haven't you THOUGHT to look up decent btc debit cards, such as Bit-X? In case you haven't, I recommend you look that up.

Crying out crisis is no way to do it until someone looks up all the options. Maybe you weren't informed of such debit cards?

Wow. It doesn't solve everything but thanks for that cause no I NEVER heard of that. I wouldn't even thought it existed in the first place in Europe (I knew about ATM-btc in USA but I don't think they exist in France for example).

But it doesn't change anything. Even if I go through btc, I'll pay in EUR. Because btc will be transformed in EUR and I'll pay with them. So I totally depends on the EUR value and stability. And I'm still paid in EUR.

Well the good things is that I can now really choose between putting my savings in btc or EUR, as I may spend both in an easy way. But I'm still not bank-free, as I'll still have to pay my taxes for example (and you can't do that with a debit card).

Anyway, thanks for the info.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: The new dark age on: January 08, 2016, 09:48:02 AM
The future is always here, I'm actually not too worried about a crisis coming or about to happen. People like you are just so bend on getting people scared.
What's your source on this big big crash happening? And yes infact I have been keeping up with the stock market and that it has been going on around the world.
This happens almost on a yearly basis, mostly at the beginning of each year, so I'm not really surprised to see this happening.

I agree with you.
People are just realizing they can't sustain a 10% growth that our economy required, just because it's not possible... Adding 10% of value every year can't stand for very long!
596  Economy / Economics / Re: The new dark age on: January 08, 2016, 08:56:34 AM
Friends

Prepare for a new dark age. Today the JPY trades at 117 which is a signal we are in for a big big crash.

The era of the USA is finally over. Soon the western world will self destruct and we will enter a new dark age.

The future is here. AS western civilization self destructs over the coming weeks and months let us be thankful we are alive and have each other to keep our positive momentum going.

Maybe this could become another strong moment where btc gain value and popularity among users...
Why trust a "bank" that print money and limit you account ?
I think we are entering in a new age, where btc could be one of strongest tool for this time.

that's exactly what i ask it to myself everyday , along the ages, there is something in people that makes them forget, never learn and try to build something better...let's hope that this time, is the time for the change with our lovely tool, the bitcoin.

Maybe because bitcoin is fucking useless  Roll Eyes
Can you buy your groceries with btc? Pay your taxes? Repair your car? Buy your clothes?
Because I can't. Not even talking about the fact that I'm not paid in btc so I HAVE TO go through a bank...
597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why next pump might be completely different on: January 08, 2016, 08:53:14 AM

Answer this question. Every week Bitcoin becomes more and more liquid... true or false.....

Bitcoin liquidity even compared to 2013 is insanely better today.

What is more important is that bitcoin has everything that allows it to become the MOST liquid of ANY asset period. Why ignore the obvious simply because today you can't unload 25 million in bitcoin at market....?

True indeed. That still doesn't make it ready or desirable as a safe haven in any upcoming giant financial crisis for more than a handful of people. It may well be in the years to come but there's a lot of stuff that needs ironing out and vastly more volume is required for it to be a practical choice for large numbers.

Well for a very large class of human Bitcoin is liquid enough right now. The market decides what is a safe haven, you do not, when economy goes down and your asset goes up in value it is a haven for those with buying power.

Bitcoin right now simply proves you wrong. Bitcoin is up while the world market is down...... just a fact

That's what all "economists" say until the bubble without reason to exist explodes. Letting most people peniless and few companies rich as fuck.
Always be careful for incredible markets movements not based on anything, they're mostly manipulation.
598  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you support or oppose the death penalty? on: January 08, 2016, 08:49:13 AM
Totally support.
The death sentence does bring closure to victims' families.
You can have life sentences and the best of prisons, but sometimes prisoners do manage to escape.

What you're talking about is revenge, not justice.
Justice is here to prevent crimes to be commited by applying the law. The goal is not to release the pain of victim's families. Otherwise let's apply Talyon law, a murderer gets killed, a thief gets his hand cut and so on...
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get into Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2016, 08:46:27 AM
Everybody always remembers their first time.

Well I don't! Btc is something a bit crazy, you don't even know when you came xD
It's too much to handle on the first time!
