581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: May 23, 2017, 11:57:10 PM
I'm not going into all that debate and whatnot, all I know is that I can use bitcoin to buy things,
I can use it to pay for my bills, I can even convert it to cash anytime I want. So, as I see it, it's money.
More than that, like fiat it can buy things and like gold it's value could go up or down. Bitcoin does all these while making it easier for payments ;with the near instantaneous transactions and low fees then, as for the value; it could be both good and bad in terms of investmen/speculation becauee of the volatility.
Nothing like surely bitcoin is money the main reason it is made is because  they want to make a currency in short money in technology so they made crytocurrency that is a money unlike a gold surely it has a value but you cant make it as a currency but you can use it to trade for something. But bitcoin is all the best and its better than gold.

584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction has not confirmed for 4 days now on: May 23, 2017, 11:28:39 PM
NOthing but there are some intances that transactions got canceled like what happened in my friend butall you can do if wait for you transaction your lucky i guess i got a transaction that almost take 7days before it conformed in the blockchain i guess you better dont use blockchain wallet i dont recommend.
585  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: My Unconfirmed Transaction Problem Solved Atlast on: May 23, 2017, 11:20:51 PM
I use Blockchain.info as my wallet. I had several of my Bitcoin transactions pending for days(5days and counting), I tried using some services(both paid and free ones) to speed up the transactions without success. While going through this forum I came across a comment on how easy it is transferring through Poloniex. I tried transfering some of my trading money & behold it transfered very fast in less than 5minutes to be precised.

I have decided to use poloniex as both wallet and trading platform until the problem of pending transaction is solved. Meanwhile all my other transactions at Blockchain.info remain unconfirmed. I don't know if I can cancel them or reroute all the Bitcoin to my Poloniex address. I have replaced my former Wallet address with Poloniex Bitcoin Address in all Bitcoin services I use online.

You too can try this.
I guess you need to stop using blockchain wallet i use that too but just a advice but the transactions in that wallet is taking too long i already transfer all my bitcoin from another wallet and it takes almost 7days and the fees was is almost takes 4$ so no good with this wallet you better change wallet like i do.
586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: May 23, 2017, 11:06:12 PM

587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a pump going on? on: May 23, 2017, 05:03:10 PM
There are lot of things goijg in the market i guess the bitcoin will not increase too much at this point at some instances it will go down also so goos thing that its increasing today. but the altcoins price value in the market also increasing but there musy be only some delay and some price manipulatikn but eventual i guess it will still go up.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do ICO's become so successful in just a few hours!? on: May 23, 2017, 04:52:02 PM
In my opinion its really depend in the project its self information features values in the market exchangers sites design and many aspect of the coins the succes of the coin depend in the fund raised during the campaign but investor dont just invest but having a deep research in. The ico so its really depend in the development.

590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IT happened: ETH miners mine ~5.2m$ daily while BTC miners 3.6M$ on: May 22, 2017, 11:32:51 PM
I guess also that it is ethereum it more profitable at this time because of increasing number of the miners todays no doubt that it is very difficult to mine bitcoins today and the transaction speed is really annoying in the bitcoin so not even a good thing that hardware in bitcoin is high end good thing for eth miners.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: high fees, bitcoin or ethereum! on: May 22, 2017, 11:25:00 PM
I guess bitcoin have a higher fees than the ethereum because of the bitcoin rapidly increasing price in the market no doubt the bitcoin fees would also increase in the market but i guess it is just a little difference in the fees in both croptocurrency and they are almost the same but it depends in the transaction made.
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending small amounts of bitcoin on: May 22, 2017, 11:07:02 PM
Hi,

So my friend got hit by the ransomware and had to pay but after there were some unexpected commissions we are short by less than a dollar, is there anyway to send an equivalent bitcoin amount easily and cheaply? Everywhere I've seen needs a minimum of $30-60 and then a load of fees.

Excuse me if I'm being stupid but this is my first experience with bitcoin and I doubt I will use it again so dont want to buy loads of extra bitcoins

Thanks
This really just a normal since the bitcoin holders and bitcoin users is increasing rapidly morea and more transactions is being made in just a days and there are so many bitcoin transaction pending in the blockchain so i guess this is just a normal since today.
593  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is gonna die soon! on: May 22, 2017, 10:59:27 PM
Ah good you can add your list to this list that says Bitcoin has died 129 times:

https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/

Enough with the doomsday nonsense. Mining pools will cave, BU will become irrelevant, segwit will be activated and everything will move forwards. All the alleged stunts with BU are simple temporary power plays. Don't let the noise of a handful of users make you think otherwise.
Yeah almost impossible that is could happened bitcoin have a lot of opportunities and have a lot of users it is almost a industry in the world so it can die just easily and become a dump coin in the market also it is the most successful of all of the cryptocurrency in the market.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank in Norway now supports Bitcoin on: May 22, 2017, 10:51:41 PM
This is a good thing for all of the bitcoin users all over the globe and a good sign that bitcoin is spreading all over the world i guess it is starting in norway and probably in other country too where they will start accepting bitcoin this last month i heard japan accepting bitcoin as a currency too so good news for us whos a bitcoin holder.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In terms of acceptance of bitcoins... on: May 22, 2017, 10:44:21 PM
As how closed those other people's minds are right now, how much time do you think it would take for everyone to accept the concept of bitcoins??
Or is it just a childish dream and will never happen??
Majority of people who claims they are not in love with bitcoin are still holding large number of bitcoins because even a child can understand the future potential of bitcoin. And who don't love to make cross border transactions with minimal fee and almost instantly?

Many have already started to use bitcoin and this number will grow exponentially within next few years. No, it is not a childish dream..
I guess they are just not really in this kind of techonology and still they are not really to adopt this kind of techonology in the aspect of money but still what we need is the cooperation of the government that is almost impossible and partnershipss of the company which is a good thing.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: don't believe the news you read online when it comes to investing your money on: May 22, 2017, 10:37:13 PM
it really is starting to become very annoying, everywhere you look these days they are talking about a shitcoin and how they are big and worth investing in.
and the worst part is that they are all going to end badly. as soon as the dumps begin and everyone starts to make their exit, all the newbies and panic sellers will look for a window to jump out and there will be blood Smiley
yeah maybe even if its so dump in the market many investor buy shitcoins because they can still get a good profit from this coin even at this time it is a good investment for short and long term. Cryptocurrency news is not a bad thing but many holders got trick with this sometimes and get bankcrupt i guess.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction confirmed within 20 minutes on: May 22, 2017, 10:28:39 PM
OK with all the posts about transactions fees and transaction holds etc .. thought I'd post my experience ..

I have just transferred 2 Bitcoin from my Kraken trading account to my blockchain wallet ... cost of transaction: 0.0005 bitcoin so actual coins received in wallet 1.9995 ... 4 confirmations received within 20 minutes (19 minutes to be exact)

Personally I was expecting maybe a day for the transaction to be completed lol (especially with all the scary posts on the forum) so 20 minutes was pleasantly surprising.
Thats a good thing but only in you i have so many transaction in the blockchain the got stacked i have almost 1.7bitcoin stack in the blockchain that almost take up to 3days before it confirmed but i guess that was okey atleast i receive it even dough it takes 3 days .
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day everyone ! on: May 22, 2017, 10:16:04 PM
Ohh so it is this is really a bad thing for the guy who buy a pizza for that price if he only have knowledge about this cryptocurrency he is really rich  today because of that amount bad thing i guess its the most thing he do that he regrit the most in his life so dont mind this just continue trading and investing in bitcoin.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: May 22, 2017, 10:07:37 PM
I guess the offline wallet is more recommended than the online wallet but i guess offline wallet is prone to hacking or bugs but so far i dont encounter this problem so probably offline wallets are the best than online wallets also i guess it is more safe than the online wallet that is prone to scam.
600  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: May 22, 2017, 09:57:53 PM
I dont really know but in my predition probably around 10,000-20,000$ is the best price that bitcoin could reach for me but bitcoin an surpass that we never know like today we never know that bitcoin will reach this far around 2000$ and thats a history for the bitcoin reach that price.
