The decisions were necessary to ensure scheduled launch of the ICONOMI ICO.
Why did Alexander Hirner back out? He didn't back out. It was timely impossible for all of us to be available at the same time for the whole process of setting things up and for testing. Tight schedule. That's all. |

It seems like the big fuzz over this coin is that Max Kordek holds one of the escrow keys. It really doesn't provide any unique functionality like other coins, other than to make people who don't care about Crypto more money. I mean, it is what it is, but it's just not as exciting as other coins. Would this coin reach its goal of 2,000 BTC if Max Kordek wasn't part of the escrow team.
from my perspective it's the other way around. more people will join out of crypto world better it is for all of us already in. Exactly! We're at the stage where outside investors have really really hard time investing into crypto. In order to bring outside investors into crypto new financial services needs to be developed for them. Right now they have problem with what to buy, how to buy and manage when needed and how to keep assets safe. And even if they make it, then they see volatility they are not used to and face another problem. |

Do you also accept blogspot? I did create a blog months ago, it still have about 7 blog entries to it which I create an article every month. Will create an entry for ICN once the team confirms they'd accept blogspot. The entry will consist of 500+ word article and will be promoted as well to different channels like how i did to the rest of the articles i have. That can work perfectly fine! Please go ahead. |

Probably Max himself will invest in this project too. I think they make the 2000btc threshold because they are confident that they can achieve it. There is quite some buzz around Max. But I have two questions: - does it have to be a blog specifically? maybe you will extend this offer for Facebook or other social media (and decrease reward accordingly) - secondly, you told us how big is your promotional budget in total (300k ICN), but how much you will offer for that one post, it varies? Facebook technically is just a medium. As long as content is unique and publicly available with 1000 chars or more and 2 links to ICO website it counts. Each blog post will count same. Therefore the total amount of 300k ICN will be equally distributed among all blog posts. |

From what I've read so far, you want to develop a coin that does not require mining. I was wondering how P2P transactions will be verified if you do not have miners at work, or am I missing something?
Probably proof of stake, like other coins. NXT, NEM. I would assume PoS as well. And while a lot of coins feel that you have to offer massive interest rates, you really don't -- the toll staking takes on your system/electricity is negligible, so running the wallets non-stop isn't an issue for most people. No extra coins besides the first 100 mio. It uses the eth network for transactions so no need for mining or PoS. 100mio coins thats it. I like that. A hard cap is awesome. And technically it'll decrease each year from people losing private keys, sending to the wrong addresses, etc. Even then it doesnt mean your coins will be getting more divident That is correct. Other people losing keys won't deliver bigger dividends, but will create token more scarce. |
